A/n: I feel bad that I did abandon this story in 2015, especially 5 people has been following... especially one person in particular who has left nice reviews. I'll try my best to finish this story :( I'm sorry.
Edmund helps in managing the project, while Peter and Susan are busy helping Caspian in other fields. He went to check if the workers have arrived. He checked a stable house, which were cleared out as a warehouse production to make flashlights.
"Good day, My King," an iron smith greeted.
"Good day," Edmund said in a happy nod. He greeted each of them, but he stopped in his track to see the glass maker's daughter, covered with a piece of cloth on face. He could see her still breathing by the subtle movement of cloth.
The girl looked frail, laying on the ground by the wall like that.. He thought that she shouldn't be here. So Edmund asked for permission to Sompson to move her to one of the chambers. Sompson was moved and heavily thanking Edmund. So the king ordered a guard to lift the girl up and be moved to the nearest chamber. "Not the servants chamber, in one of the standard royal rooms near the courtyard. Get the stretcher, please."
The guards went away to get a stretcher. While he waits for them, he asked if Sompson knew how she got sick. Sompson didn't know how, but he remembered that she got sick right after her mother's accidental death four years ago. It might be the death that caused this. Deep sadness. But it was odd that she couldn't recover until now. So all those years, Sompson's daughter had been laying beside his work.
The guards arrived with the stretcher and got the girl on. As the girl moved, the cloth accidentally released away by a gush of air. The soldiers frantically apologised and got the cloth back on. But Edmund was too shocked to notice. He was staring the girl in wide eyes. It was no mistake, that the girl's face, looked like Alise.
A/n: It's short haha, but well... Reviews are welcommme
