"N-NO! I'm still here!"

Vanessa arrived at Gregory's side as he banged his hand against the metallic door, vainly pleading to get the door to open. Vanessa stared up at the door, gritting her teeth as she knew what this meant. She sighed as she shook her head.

"Dammit." she said.

"Vanessa! Why can't this door open?!" Gregory asked as he tried to lift the door open. Vanessa looked at him with pity.

"It's part of the building's protocol. Thanks to the company's past history of disappearances, including the ones that have been happening since last month, the building has top-notch security, so they installed this so nobody can leave nor enter." she explained. Gregory's eyes widened in shock before he looked down in disappointment, and he turned around, so that his back laid on the metallic door, and he slowly slid down until he sat down.

"No…I'm stuck here, now." he whimpered as he looked ahead into the lobby, watching the bright colors of the lobby, which contrast with his situation.

Vanessa frowned as well. She sat down next to him, and the two sat there for a short while. After a brief pause, Gregory looked at her.

"W-What are we gonna do now?" he asked, fear present in his voice. Vanessa looked at him and narrowed her lips.

"Well, our best shot is to simply wait until the doors here open at 6 AM. We can hide out in one of the security offices until then." she explained. Gregory grew a frown. Vanessa then explained,

"If there's another way out, then we'll take it. But until we can find it, we'll go with my plan. Don't worry; I'll keep you safe."

Gregory remained unconvinced as Vanessa got up.

"Last time someone said that to me, they took advantage of me." he muttered to himself. Vanessa had heard this and grew concerned. However, knowing that Gregory would not tell her anything, she pushed it to the back of her mind and lowered her hand to him.

"Well, not this time. I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to you. You have my word." she said. Gregory looked her in the eye, and he saw the sincerity in her eyes. Gulping, he slowly got up. Vanessa retracted her hand again, but Gregory looked at her.

"Alright. I trust you." he said. Vanessa smiled nonetheless.

"Great. Now, let's head to the main office. It's one of the more isolated parts of the pizzeria." she instructed. Gregory nodded, and the two began to move from the door.

As they traversed through the main lobby, Gregory noticed a set of doors with a sign above that said "Superstar Daycare Pick-up!"

"You wanna head inside?" Gregory looked to see Vanessa looking at him with a small, teasing smile. She then gestured her head to the daycare entrance. Gregory blinked and looked at her with a deadpan face.

"I'm not a toddler." he replied. Vanessa chuckled a bit.

"You sure? I'm sure there are plenty of toys for you." she said, gently ruffling his hair.

"Ugh. Shut up." Gregory complained. Vanessa just laughed at seeing Gregory pout.

"Oh, Gregory…"

Chica's voice made them tense up. Vanessa and Gregory looked at each other.

"Let's head to the elevator." she said, pointing to the nearby elevator. Gregory nodded, and the two sped walked towards it, just as Chica, in the distance, walked into the lobby like a zombie.

"Our friendly staff can help you…"

Vanessa guided Gregory quickly towards the elevator, and once they got inside, Vanessa pressed the "Down" arrow. Chica turned to look in their direction and perked herself up.

"There you are!"

Vanessa gritted her teeth and widened her eyes in shock as Chica ran up the stairs as the doors began to close. Instinctively, she walked over towards Gregory, shielding him as she reached for her baton. Gregory closed his eyes just as Chica arrived in front of the elevator. Thankfully, the doors managed to close just in time. They heard Chica slamming her body against the door before the elevator began to move downward.

Vanessa and Gregory sighed in relief.

"That was close." Vanessa said as she looked down at Gregory. Gregory, however, looked at her.

"What's going on with them? I thought you said these were good guys." he said, pointing to the door. Vanessa frowned.

"They A.R.E. I don't know what's going on. M-Maybe their programming's been hijacked by something or someone." she said, scratching the back of her head. Gregory looked at the ground as he thought of what could be causing them to act this way. Then, he blinked as a thought came into his mind.

"I-I think it might be the white rabbit lady." he said. Vanessa looked at him, alarmed.

"Huh? The one that's been chasing you?" she asked. Gregory nodded. Vanessa groaned.

"Oh no. So she somehow knows how to work robots?" she asked herself as she pinched the bridge of her nose, shaking her head. Gregory looked up at her again.

"What do we do now?" he asked.

"For now, we stick with getting you someplace safe until 6 AM or finding another way out. Once we do, I'll figure out what to do next." Vanessa explained as the elevator stopped. Gregory nodded as the door opened, revealing themselves back down in the basement.

"Uh, Vannesa? Why are we back in the basement?" he asked.

"Oh, there's a security office here. It's one of the more remote offices in this pizzaplex, so I doubt the animatronics or anyone else will come and get you here. Don't worry." she said. Gregory looked unsure, but if this is what kept him safe from them, then he'll take it.

There were several S.T.A.F.F. bots patrolling the area. Vanessa told him to stay close, so they didn't trigger the alarm. Gregory did so without hesitation.

Suddenly, Vanessa felt herself grabbed in the shoulders by a pair of robotic arms. Gregory gasped and fell onto the floor. He looked up to see what attacked Vanessa, and all the attacker said was,

"Hi. Please take this map."

Vanessa and Gregory got a clear view of their "attacker", and the former just deadpanned.

It was a S.T.A.F.F. bot, but it had glasses, a hat, and an "i" symbol on its chest as if it were an information symbol. The bot then lets Vanessa go and pulls out a piece of paper. Vanessa groaned.

"False alarm, Gregory. It's just one of these stupid map bots." she said as she rubbed her shoulders. Gregory looked at her and then at the robot.

"Take a map." it spoke. Vanessa simply pushed the bot's hand aside.

"I'm good, thanks. I work here." she said. Then, she looked at Gregory just as he got up.

"Just ignore this bot. He'll leave us al-" she said before the bot shoved a map on her face again.

"Free map." it said. Vanessa pushed the hand away, rougher this time.

"I work here, dumb bot. I don't need a map. And neither does this boy he-" she said before,

"Take a map. Take a map." the map bot repeated as it shoved a paper to her face again. Gregory looked at the scene, a little bit amused.

"Heh. Does it always do this?" he asked.

"Yes. They shouldn't, but they do. This is why the staff and customers hate them." Vanessa growled as she grabbed the bot's hand. After spotting a closet with an open door next to them, she then looked at Gregory and grew a sweet smile, although Gregory could see irritation and anger in her eyes.

"Gregory, can you wait out here for a minute? I need to teach this piece of scrap iron some manners." she asked. Gregory nodded instinctively, and Vanessa soon forced the bot into the closet. Before she closed the door, she looked at Gregory again and smiled.

"I won't be long!" she said.

"Free map." the bot said as it stuck its hand out with the paper, but Vanessa pulled the arm back inside the closet, incidentally dropping the paper in the process, before closing the door.

Gregory stared at the door for a while before he heard the sound of metal being whacked several times, along with Vanessa's growls of frustration. He winced, startled by the woman's anger and the ferocity of the hits. Then, he looked at the map lying on the floor.

"Uh…maybe it won't hurt to take one, just in case." he mused before walking toward the front door. The hits were getting louder and harder, and Vanessa's growls soon turned to screams of frustration. Gregory winced as he picked up the map.

"She must really hate those bots." he said. Then, there was one final scream of anger before a massive WHACK echoed from the room.

There was a brief pause of silence as Gregory stepped out before the door opened. Vanessa stepped out, a bright smile on her face as she placed her baton back in its holster.

"Phew. That's one way of relieving stress from your body." she mused as she walked over to Gregory. Gregory looked into the closet and saw the mangled, badly beaten body of the map bot. The map bot weakly turned to look at the boy.

"Th-Th-Th-Th-Thank you. P-Please, have a fun rest of your dayyyyyy…" the bot droned before shutting down completely, the head soon rolling off. Gregory stared in shock before looking at Vanessa. She just smiled sheepishly.

"I'm sorry you had to hear all of that." she said sympathetically with a shrug.

"Uh…I take it didn't want to do that, but you were-" Gregory began before Vanessa cut him off.

"Oh no. I've ALWAYS wanted to do that to these pieces of junk! For some reason, management made them insistent that everyone gets a free map, even those that either work here, or have been here before. Ugh, it's so frustrating." she explained, rubbing her hand on her face. Gregory hummed before Vanessa said,

"Anyway, I think we've spent enough time here. Let's keep going, shall we?"

"Yeah. Good idea." he said, and Vanessa soon began to guide him to the office again.

Note to self: never get on this lady's bad side. he thought to himself.

At last, they arrived at the security office. Vanessa sighed in relief as she approached one of the chairs and smiled.

"Well, we made it." she said as Gregory looked around, inspecting the office. He could see the various monitors on one wall and various newspapers on the left side of the room. There are also empty beverages and crumbled-up papers.

"The place sure is a bit messy." he mumbled. Vanessa heard him and nodded.

"Yeah. The other security guard, Dave, is a REAL slob. I mean, look at this." she said as she moved some papers out of the way.

"Dave? He's here?" asked Gregory. Vanessa shook her head.

"No. Management fired him because of how lazy he is. Now it's just the dayshift guard and myself as the only human security guards in this place." she muttered before looking at the monitors. Gregory hummed as he looked around before noticing a peculiar magazine amongst the papers. He reached for it, seeing a nearly naked woman in a pose.

"Okay, so let's jus-Hey!" Gregory heard Vanessa yell out, and the next thing he knew, the magazine was yanked from his hands. He looked up to see a frantic Vanessa.

"You should not be reading this!" she said as she looked around, finding a paper shredder. She turned it on and shredded the magazine nearly effortlessly. Gregory just stared on.

"Jeez, woman. It's just a magazine." he said as he looked at Vanessa. She looked back at him.

"Do you even know what's on that, Gregory?" she asked.

"Yeah. It's a porno magazine. That wasn't the only one I've read." he explained. Vanessa stared at him for a while.

"...Have you been in the underground part of the city or something?" she asked.

Gregory nodded.

"Yeah. I visited there a few times, but I never stuck around, if that's what you're worried about." he replied.

Vanessa just sighed.

"I'm not even gonna ask. I'm just gonna check the cameras for another way out. Hopefully, we can get to it within my security level range." she said before walking back towards the chair. Gregory just nodded, and he sat at another chair.

For a while, neither said anything. Vanessa was too invested in the monitors, looking for another possible exit. Gregory, meanwhile, was sitting on a rolling desk chair, spinning around in place.

Suddenly, Vanessa gasped slightly as she saw a room with a set of double doors with a set of words on top that said,

Emergency Exit

Vanessa smiled as she turned to look at Gregory.

"Hey, kid! I found another exit!" she said. Gregory stopped spinning and turned to look at Vanessa, then at the screen.

"Well, here's the good news: it's the fire exit. It's located in the V.I.P. area of the Prize Counter. We don't have to wait anymore." she explained with a smile. Gregory widened his eyes again and grew a smile.

"For real?" he asked. Vanessa nodded before frowning a bit.

"But…bad news. I don't have the key for the V.I.P. area. It's in the Prize Counter's own security office." she said. Gregory frowned at this, but he shook his head.

"Well, I guess we've gotta go there and get it." he said.

"Correction: I will go there." Vanessa corrected. Gregory blinked in surprise.

"Y-You're leaving me here?" he asked. Vanessa nodded.

"Of course. This is one of the safest parts of the pizzeria. Plus, I need to focus on getting the key, and not worry about either us getting separated again in case the others attack us again." she explained.

"B-But," Gregory began.

"Gregory, I can't take that risk. I promise I'll be back as soon as I can, and we'll be getting you out of here as soon as possible. Please?" asked Vanessa as she knelt to his eye level. Gregory frowned, unsure of whether to trust her.

"Y-You'll be back, right?" he asked. Vanessa smiled and nodded before blinking as she remembered something.

"Oh. Just in case anything happens." she said as she fished something out of her pocket. She then showed him a watch that was orange colored and had cartoon bear ears.

"This is a Faz-Watch. It is used for employees to help communicate and travel around the place so we don't get lost." she explained. Gregory then took the watch and put it on. He fiddled with it a bit, and he pressed another button, where he then heard a starting-up sound. Vanessa chuckled and lifted her hand close to her mouth.

"Works, doesn't it?" she asked, her voice also coming from the Faz-Watch. Gregory looked at it and smiled. Vanessa chuckled again and ruffled his hair.

"I'll be back as soon as I can. You'll be out of here soon." she said with a small smile. Gregory nodded.

"Alright. Just don't die, alright?" he asked. Vanessa nodded.

"Will do my best." she said and began to walk off.

"Wait, Vanessa!" Gregory went. Vanessa looked down at him in surprise.

"What?" she asked. Gregory paused a bit and rubbed his shoulders before breathing in and saying,

"Thanks. For helping me. Nobody's ever helped me like this before." he said. Vanessa looked at him and smiled.

"No problem. Even if it is my job, I won't abandon you in this place." she assured before turning around and walking away, leaving Gregory alone in the office. Gregory sighed before walking back towards the chair and continuing to fiddle with the Faz-Watch.

Vanessa, after going to the elevator, arrived on the 3rd floor. So far, there did not seem to be any signs of the animatronics, and Vanessa briefly wondered where they were. Shrugging it off, she walked towards the Prize Counter. Taking a look around to see all of the toys and shirts within the place, she soon arrived at the Counter's security office.

Vanessa searched the office for a good while until she opened one of the desk's drawers. She grew a smile as she saw the key to the V.I.P. area.

"Yes." she said as she picked it up. Then, her eyes noticed something else: a taser.

"Yes, another taser." she said as she picked it up and activated it. Electricity surged around the tip. Vanessa laughed.

"Now we're talking." she said before turning it off and placing it in her taser holster. Then, she looked at the key and smiled.

"We're almost there, Gregory. Just hold on. I'm not failing you like…like that last one." she said with a guilty frown as a memory flashed in her mind about a little girl's dead body inside of a room.

"Aww. Still upset about that?"

Vanessa jumped in fright as she heard a voice. She looked around but found no one inside of her. Then, a realization hit her mind, and she groaned.

"No…please, not now." she whimpered. There was a laugh inside of her. It was a teasing laugh, but Vanessa could tell it was filled with malice.

"Oh, come now, Vanessa. No need to talk to me to like that. We're like sisters." the voice said. Vanessa growled.

"Just shut the hell up and leave us alone. You've had your fun with the other children, just let this one go!" she pleaded as she looked into her mind.

"You know I can't, Vanny. That boy is very special. The boss especially wants him. For what, I can't say. But I know it will be a big surprise…" the voice replied. Vanessa whimpered. Then, the voice said,

"You know. I don't think he's been given a proper welcome. Let me handle that."

Vanessa gasped as she realized what this meant. Then, her head began to ache. Vanessa gritted her teeth as she clutched her head, dropping the V.I.P. key as she panted.

"No! No, please! Don't do this!" she screamed out as she pressed herself against the desk. However, the entity inside of her was not relenting.

Head and body convulsing, Vanessa pressed her forehead onto the desk as she panted, trying in vain to keep control of herself. Sadly, it wasn't to be.

Soon, Vanessa stopped convulsing and laid limp for a while. Then, her head and body straightened up quickly. Vanessa soon opened her eyes, and they were different now; instead of purely green irises, they now have a purple tint, and they now carried a malicious look to them.

"Now, we can begin the fun…" she purred out as her mouth grew into a hungry, vicious grin…

AN: Hey, everyone!

Another chapter of this story done. Honestly, this is, so far, one of the more fun stories I've written. Again, I like Security Breach, and I really wish the game did more with this story. So…maybe that's why.

Also, now that college is done for me; I am officially free to write my stories! Yay!

With all that said, it is a bit of a struggle to make this not completely identical to the game. So, I might take some liberties with this, but I'll try to make it at least faithful to the game's original idea!

As for Glamrock Freddy…I think you know about his future role if you've seen the opening cutscene!

Anyway, that's all I have to say. Hope you enjoy it, please give some criticism, and I hope you stick around for more!
