Chapter 10: S-Class Trials

Naruto could see people doing jobs left and right as if their lives depended on it. It was weird to him seeing people who usually didn't do as many jobs as before as they are doing now. Naruto hadn't seen Natsu or Gray doing everything they could on missions and were constantly doing them. It had been like that the past month whereas Naruto had been training in his Sub-Elements and working to be able to summon more of the Biju as right now he could summon half four of them, but is hoping to summon all of them in another month. The Sub-Element he had been working on was Wood-style as he could use it to subdue enemies with magical abilities such as demons as that would come in handy, he is been able to summon branches without using jutsus, with jutsus he's been able to use Wood clone, Four Pillar House, Nativity of the seas, and the Great Forest Technique. It has amazed him that he'd been able to recreate such techniques from the First Hokage Hashirama Senju. It was quite the experience when Naruto summoned him, to get his help with training in Wood-Release.

*Flashback*

Naruto was outside behind the guild training in his wood release, but wasn't making any headway towards it. He doesn't have scrolls to learn from or a teacher, so it's been harder for him to learn. "I've been struggling to get Wood Release down and could use some help, but the only person who would be able to help me in this, would be either Yamato or Hashirama Senju, and I don't have a way to summon either of them." He says until he remembers that Hashirama is actually one of his paths. He would be the perfect teacher.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

A coffin opens up to be The First Hokage Hashirama Senju. He walks out wondering where he is until he sees Naruto and recognizes him from the war. "You're Naruto Uzumkaki right? How'd you summon me? I haven't seen you since the war happened." He says to him.

"That's right and I'm able to summon you because you became one of my paths, since I have the Rinnegan. The reason I summoned you is for this reason." He says as he summons some branches from the ground which catches Hashirama's surprise not expecting another woodstyle user.

"How'd you manage to use it, you must have it as a kekkei genkai or you have a high enough affinity to combine water and earth elements together." He says happy that someone else can use his style.

"I was able to get the affinities high enough to be able to combine them. I was wondering if you'd be able to help train me in woodstyle, so I can get better at it. I know how helpful and powerful it is to be able to subdue beings like the Biju. There are demons in this world and being able to deal with them without causing destruction would be helpful not just for me, but for the cities or towns that I handle missions in." He says.

"It'd be my pleasure to train you in Wood Release. It's rare to see someone be able to use it. Well, have you done the nature manipulation exercises to get it down?" He asks his new student.

"I've done them already and have been trying to create or recreate techniques from memory, but that has been hard to do. Having scrolls to study from would help a great deal or techniques to learn from others." Naruto tells him. "I figured you'd be able to teach me different techniques and help gain better control over wood release."

"Let's get started then shall we? There's so much I can and want to teach you, so you better be prepared to put in the work because it won't be easy." Hashirama tells him seriously.

*End Flashback

That was two weeks ago when he started learning from his new teacher. Now we find Naruto at the bar with Mira getting a drink and something to eat after one of his training sessions.

"I've been meaning to ask, but why have so many people been taking jobs more than usual anyway? Naruto asks his girlfriend who was cleaning the bar at the moment.

"It's about time for the S-class trials, where members who are nominated to take them advance to the class so they can take s-class missions." She answers him.

" I think I get it. Everyone doing extra missions, is to somehow have that resume to show that you are ready to become S-class right?" He asks to clarify.

"That's right. I'm surprised no one had mentioned this to you as normally every member would've known about it at this point."

"Even if that was the case, I'm not really interested in being s-class when I've only been a member for a few months where others who are wanting it have been here for years. There are others I feel would deserve it more than me." Naruto answers truthfully on what he thinks about becoming S-class.

"And this is one of the reasons I love you. You always put others before you no matter who they are." She shakes her head at him, but smiles at him for his caring of his guildmates or anyone for that matter.

"I had actually been asked by Makarov if I wanted to become S-class about a month ago, but I turned it down, as I told him the same thing I told you just now which I mean 100%. I did however make a suggestion for someone else to take the spot for when the trials do happen, as I feel this person deserves it with all the hard work they've been in ever since I met that person." Naruto tells her, which surprises that he would turn it down and give it to someone else.

"I don't suppose you would tell me who this person is that you suggested since you seem to have such a high regard for?" Mira asks him while trying to act innocent while giving him the cursed Puppy Dog Eyes which no one can resist, but he quickly turns his head to look away from her so he doesn't fall prey to that technique that seemingly every female knows well.

She puffs her cheeks out seeing him look away from her to avoid her gaze since he knows what she was trying to do, but laughs when he can't help but smile at her for her actions and love her that much more.

Not long later everyone was gathered around the guildhall waiting for Master Makarov to announce the nominees for this year as people were talking about it and who they thought would get nominated this year.

Makarov walks out of his office with Gildarts, Erza, and Mira out to the stage to make their announcement, but he noticed no one was listening.

"Alright brats listen up! It's time for the s-class trials and who will be participating this year!" Makarov shouts, getting everyone's attention.

"As you all know, it's that time of year again, so I will now announce who is in it this year so listen up! He shouts at them.

Everyone is on edge waiting to see who will be nominated this year hoping it's one of them while others don't care as much (Naruto being one of those people at least this year anyway.)

"Natsu Dragneel!"

"Gray Fullbuster!"

"Juvia Lockser!"

"Elfman Strauss!"

"Cana Alberona!"

"Freed Justine!"

"Levy McGarden!"

"Mest Gryder!"

Natsu noticed Naruto's name wasn't called when he deserved it as well as the rest of them, especially with how strong he is too.

"Gramps. Why didn't you call Naruto's name? I mean I know he hasn't been here as long as some others, but he is strong enough to have the title right?" He asked as others had also started wondering the same thing even if not everyone who didn't like him felt he deserved the chance too.

Before he could answer, Naruto answered for him. "To put it simply, others I felt deserved the chance more than me as they are my seniors so I gave up my spot to someone who I felt deserved more than me such as the people who were nominated. I want to earn it with more time as a member." He explains his reasons and everyone is impressed with him wanting others to be the best they could be." No one noticed Naruto looking over at Levy and wink at her as she was shocked that he would do that for her but smiled knowing he would do something like this. She sees him put his finger to his mouth to let her know not to say anything.

"With that being said, good luck everyone make sure you pick a partner as the trials will only have one person become S-class and as they begin in a week's time so make sure you're prepared for it by then. Makarov stated letting everyone know.

"Are you still sure you don't want to participate this year for the title?" He asks, wanting him to make sure he's okay with his decision.

"Oh I am 100% sure that she is ready. I want to wait to take my turn maybe in two or three years. I want to build up my resume and time here before I advance. Besides with how Levy's training had been going. She could handle mostly everyone in the guild with her magic alone now as precise and strong as she is, but add her hand to hand, she is going to be a monster to many mages." He lets him know that his answer hasn't changed and sees Levy walking over to him with a wide grin on her face.

"Well someone looks excited about the trials. I know you will do amazing love as you deserve the title of S-class as much as the others do. I am very proud of you and no matter what happens I will always be." He tells her with a smile as he hugs her.

She ends up pulling him into a kiss which he happily returns as others smile at the scene as they can tell he is proud of her.

"Well I know there must've been more to seeing me than to just kiss me which I mean I'm not complaining about in the slightest, but was there something else you need?" He asks her.

"Actually there was, knowing we can have a partner for the trials, I was wondering if you wanted to be my partner for it, since we've been training together for months and working well together, but also as a thank you for helping with everything you've done for me to get me this far." She tells him hoping that he accepts it.

"Of course I will, it would be my pleasure too. Let's show them what Levy McGarden can do!" Naruto shouts out to everyone who looks over towards them which makes her blush out of embarrassment for her boyfriend's antics.

"Great, I'll see you later than? We need to celebrate with this and not just us two, but Cana as well since she was nominated this year." She tells him that he agrees too.

As she walks away, Naruto sees in the corner of her eye looking depressed and upset than ever before wondering what is going on. 'I thought she'd be excited for this to happen? I'll talk to her about it tonight.' Naruto thinks to himself. Little did he know Lucy had the same thoughts as she noticed Cana's behavior as well.

Later on in the evening

Majority of the people had left for the night, as it was starting to get late, but Cana was still there drinking more than she usually did, wondering about what she should do about the trials and such. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice Naruto come around to her and wrap his arms around her waist and kiss her neck and cheek which she leans back into recognizing his warmth and moans at the attention she was getting.

"Hey Cana love. How are you?" Naruto asks, hoping she opens up to him.

"I'm fine Naru-Kun, just thinking about the S-class trials and who I should ask to be my partner." She replies hoping he had noticed her change in behavior.

"Well there are many people you could ask that would like to be your partner. I definitely would, but Levy-Chan asked me right after the announcement, but that's not the reason I came over here for love." He replies with concern on his face as she figures out that he noticed something was off with her.

"You noticed it huh? My change in behavior when the announcement for the S-class trials was made to everyone?" She asked without him having to say knowing he was concerned about her.

"I did sweetheart, and I thought you'd be happy for this chance, but instead I saw how upset and sad you were about it. I wasn't the only one who noticed it either and no I don't mean anyone in the guild, but 9 Biju one of them being one of them who is worried about you since you've been drinking more than usual. So what's going on? He asked not to let her go, hoping she would talk to him about this.

"You're not going to let this go are you?" She asks to see him shake his head with her sighing expecting this from him, but can't help but smile knowing he cares about her this much to check on her to make sure she's okay.

"The thing is, this will be my fifth time taking the trials and being the only to have that happen too ever in Fairy Tail." She says to him.

"Is that all love? I mean the trials should be difficult since it's for S-class titles and not only that, but usually one or two make it right, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. It took me three times to become a ninja in my village in case you forgot, but you can't give up because of not qualifying. They recommend you because they know you will do it eventually and I know you will do it." He tells her which makes her feel a little better, but knows that's not it entirely.

"I wish that was it babe, but it's a bit more complicated than that." She says to him much to his confusion.

"The reason I want to become S-class is so I can tell my father who's in the guild that I'm his daughter." She tells him to see his reaction which surprises her to see no reaction.

"I think I get it from what you're telling me, but do you really think that's the only way to tell him? Why not tell him now rather than later?" He asks her.

"What if he doesn't accept me because I'm weak and not s-class? I'm afraid he'll reject me if I were to tell him before I become one, in case that does happen." She tells him to find her getting hugged again by her boyfriend who returns it and starts crying after finally being able to tell someone her real feelings on this and feeling good to get it out.

"You know, I don't think Gildarts would care if you S-class or not if you told him." He tells her much to her shock that he could figure it out when no one else could. "Oh come on, is it that hard to believe I'd figure it out love? I mean I can see the similarities between you two, not only that, but the amount of beer you can both drink alone is similar." He tells her which makes her laugh at that thought.

"I can't seem to keep anything from you can I? You just seem to be able to figure everything out about me and the other girls despite us not telling you." She tells him which makes him roll his eyes at that as it wasn't the first time mentioned to him by one of his girlfriends.

"Well it's not hard when you all make it easy to figure stuff out about each of you. But really though, I think you should tell him while he's still here because you don't know what may happen in life. I never had the chance to know who my parents were and it took me almost losing control of my hatred where my dad had to stop me from opening the cage and when I was facing Kurama when my mom helped me against him." He explains his thoughts and reasoning to her about it. "I know he will be happy to hear that he has a daughter and that daughter is you," He tells her which makes her smile at him cheering her up.

"I'll think about it, but I just thought of something funny, if I tell him I'm his daughter, how do you think he'd react since he knows I'm dating you as well as the others?" She smirks at him, paling knowing that he would try to kill him for not only dating his daughter but to have taken her in bed too.

"Now that you mention it, maybe you shouldn't tell him, I'd get to keep my life in the end." He tells her much to her amusement.

"Thank you Naruto-Kun for this, I needed it and as a show of thanks, why don't I get you a beer and maybe we can have some fun later on tonight?" She asks with a sultry voice as she winks at him.

"Normally I'd say yes to that idea, but you've had more than enough to drink for the night and you need to start preparing for the S-class trials and finding a partner." He tells her much to her annoyance knowing he is right in the matter.

"Alright fine you win. But after the trials, we will have drinks and have some fun one way or another mister." She tells him sternly which makes his eye twitch at that mister remark.

He ended up walking her home after her last drink and helping her get ready for bed since she was drunk and stayed with her for a while so he could help her in case something happened.

A week later

We find everyone on the boat heading to Tenroujima Island where the S-class trials will be taking place and right now we find Naruto enjoying the heat despite wearing a cloak and the girls in the same position as him whereas everyone else wasn't doing as well in the heat.

"Naruto! How can you and the girls wear a cloak in this heat?! It's so hot outside, I don't know how you can stand it." Natsu asks him while suffering from not only the heat, but also motion sickness.

"The answer is simple Natsu. Seals are amazing, I put seals into the cloaks to adjust the temperature, so if it's too hot like so I can adjust where the cloaks will keep them cooler and if it's colder out, the cloaks will give off extra heat for them." Naruto explains amusing to others while the rest groan and complain about stupid seals and stupid whiskered blonde.

Naruto looks around at the nominees and sees quite the interesting partners they selected. Juvia had chosen Lisanna, Elfman chose Evergreen much to his surprise at not expecting them to ever work together, Natsu and happy, Gray chose Loke (Leo the Lion) much to Lucy's annoyance at having one her spirit's unavailable for the trial, Freed chose Bickslow which was a no brainer since they've been in the same group for years now, Mesty chose Wendy much to his protest of Naruto saying she's too young for the trials, but gave in when she gave him her Puppy dog eyes which made him give in to much to the rest of the girls amusement for later to tease him about being to easy on his adopted sister, and lastly Cana had chosen Lucy or from what he was told by her, she volunteered to be her partner.

Makarov comes onto the top of the deck and gets the attention of everyone, letting them know about their first trial and what they should expect.

"Everyone better be paying attention as I will be saying this once only about your first trial in the exams." Makarov says to make sure they understand. "Your first trial will be heading over to the smoke coming from the island, there you will find 8 passages, but only one team may enter. Once a passage has been chosen, it will block off for the rest of the teams, so if you want to be able to choose which one to pick, you'll want to get there as fast as possible. Does everyone understand?" Everyone nods at him letting him know they understand their instructions.

He then shows them a map of each passage and certain letters pull up on certain people such as Gildarts and Erza. The words says "pitched over Gildarts, Erza, and Mira's name showing that your first battle would be against an already S-class mage, but another passaged with the word calm over it signifying that there's a chance to move on without having to fight at all.

Naruto turns to see Levy nervous as she made a habit of twiddling her fingers when she was nervous about something, so he grabs her hand gently and to show her support in letting her know that she will be fine.

Makarov then tells them that they can head out now, to the passages which Natsu immediately jumps at it with Happy, to find out there are runes set around the boat that Freed set up for them to hold them back for a few minutes so they could choose which one to take. Naruto finds that to be clever and thinking ahead as a S-class mage should be able to do things on his feet in tough situations.

It doesn't take long for Levy to rewrite it for her and himself, much to the annoyance of everyone else. When they jumped the boat they all saw Naruto standing on water like a hard surface and most hadn't seen him do that before. Naruto had decided to run on it while carrying Levy so they could get there faster. Elfman and Evergreen were able to bypass the runes as well, since they were the only ones to rewrite it in some way to get by it, so everyone else had to wait five minutes.

The passage that Levy and Naruto had taken had been the silent route where they didn't have to fight much to their different reactions which was Naruto's disappointment mumbling about his stupid luck which made Levy shake her head at him, but cheered him up with a kiss on the cheek and Levy's relief not having to fight and she's just as lucky as him in that regard, but excited for the next trial that they will have to go through next the end of the first trial was over, the groups that were left were Levy and Naruto, Natsu and Happy, Gray and Loke, Elfman and Evergreen, and last group was Cana and Lucy. Naruto had been proud of all of them to get this far and can't wait to see how they will do for the rest of the trials. Despite Wendy not getting through the first trial, he was still proud of his little sister in fighting them both even if how she lost was funny to him as it made her that much cuter to him as his favorite little sister.

When the last group came which was Elfman and Evergreen, Makarov went on to explain the second test and what it entailed for them and what they had to do. "The second test, is getting to the First Master's Mavis's grave which wasn't as hard considering the first round when they had to fight, but the problem was they had no idea where her grave was, and were given six hours to look for it, so it had to be hard to find no one, but Makarov would know where it would be. Naruto decided to try sensing where it could be.

"Hey Levy, you mind if I try to sense where her grave is, the energy coming from it wouldn't be hard for me to pick up on. It wouldn't be precise, but it would give us a general area?" He asked, wanting to get through this part as quickly as possible.

"Sure go ahead Naruto-Kun, it would be easier if we could find it that way instead of randomly searching for hours." She tells him letting him use his sense to try to feel it out.

The moment he was able to lock onto the energy, he eyes shot wide open and quickly stopped his movements as he was in unbelief at what he was feeling as it wasn't just from her grave, but the whole island as it was abundant in life energy which had overwhelmed him with warmth. Levy picked up on this instantly since rarely does something get his attention like this.

"Are you okay Naruto-Kun, what were you able to pick up exactly if you reacted like this?" She asked to see him like this.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to find a location or an area for that matter, what I did sense though was the life energy this place is filled with, it's everywhere that just makes me feel warmth like a blanket. I don't know how to describe it aside from that it's abundant and rich." He said having a hard time describing the feeling.

"It's okay. I appreciate you trying anyway, just means we'll have to search like the others and hope we can find it before them. Right?" Levy asks, not looking forward to it.

"Right love. Remember, no matter what happens, I'll always be proud of you, love." He tells her and pulls her close to kiss her despite being in the trials, he can't get enough of his girls and their soft lips.

As the second trial went on, you could hear many groups screaming from the dinosaurs that roamed the island which made things more interesting to say the least.

To the Guild infirmary

"What!? Elfman and Evergreen are getting married?! Erza shouted while making soup for everyone that's there with her and Mira.

"I don't think they were serious about it, because as soon as they said that, my mind went blank when they were able to land some hits on me which gave them the pass to go on." Mira answered sheepishly at getting blindsided like that.

"That would've been something for sure, but are you sure they were kidding about it?" Erza wanting to make sure, since she tends to get carried away at times.

"Do you think Naru-Kun will want to marry us later on?" Mira asks, suddenly surprising everyone with that question since she wasn't one to think about such things.

"Of course Mira-nee, why would you even think something like that? You know Naruto-nii-san loves you and the others right?" Lisanna asks nervously. Wondering why she's questioning him.

"I do know that Lisanna. I know he loves me and I'm not questioning it whatsoever. Ever since I met him, he has not only made this guild much better, but he brought back my little sister to us. I just can't imagine a life without him and if something were to happen to him, I'd be heartbroken. Which is why I wouldn't mind a short engagement because I know he wouldn't mind it too. I'm just nervous about the whole thing." Mira explains getting nods from the group.

"I feel the same way Mira, when we rescued him from the tower, I never expected that I'd get to know him to this degree and to end up falling in love with him too. When we had that rough part during the Nirvana incident where I did something that nearly broke his heart. Lucy told me about how she found him after it happened, she hadn't seen him feel so vulnerable and I never want to see or hear something like that happen again, as it would hurt too much for me as I'm sure the others feel the same way as we do." Erza agrees with her best friend.

" I do wonder how our kids would look though. I'd die if they got his whisker marks as they'd look the cutest with them. If they'd get my hair or his hair, or my eyes or his eyes and such. Mira continues talking about them having kids which Lisanna says that she'd be the best aunt for them possible and spoil them.

"Does anyone know where Freed and Bickslow are, they should've been back here right?" Lisanna asks as she hadn't seen them in sometime and was starting to get worried.

"They went back to the guild with Gildarts." Erza tells her much to her annoyance as she wanted to at least say bye to him.

"What about Mesty and Wendy? I wonder where they are? They didn't get lost along the way here did they?" Lisanna since she doesn't know him as well from not knowing him in Edolas so, she was curious about him.

"He joined in the two years you were gone, but they've been gone for quite awhile. Hopefully they didn't get lost. Erza said when Juvia offered to go get them, as Erza volunteered to go help get them as well, much to her annoyance since she was going to go cheer Gray on mostly.

Elfman and Evergreen

They continue their search for Mavis's grave, as they get chased by a giant boar, as they are running from it, it goes to attack Evergreen, but Elfman tackles her to avoid its hoof which would've gone through her if he hadn't done something. As they get up from going down the hill and arguing over how they aren't actually getting married and it was just a means to get past Mira, they notice someone approaching them who they have never seen before.

The person is a white male wearing a black full body dress with a white toga and has black hair and black hair.

"And I'd thought there wouldn't be anyone at this place." He says which they don't hear as they continue staring at him.

"Who are you? Elfman asks with Evergreen following in question. "No one, but from our guild can be here, which he didn't expect her to say.

"Guild? Oh… So this island was controlled by a guild?" He says as he finds the whole thing interesting to him until Elfman takes a step towards him. "Don't come near me. It isn't safe. I'll leave immediately." He says as the two are finding him weird with his actions until he starts losing control of his magic as he is enveloped by a black sphere of some kind that destroys the area and can't get away until Natsu had arrived to get them out of the range of the attack.

"Who are you"?! Natsu shouts at him as they look around to notice all the trees in the area have been destroyed and were looking like a barren wasteland.

"Natsu." The man says glad to see him, which confuses everyone, even Natsu as he doesn't know him, but he somehow does know Natsu.

Another wave of the black sphere comes around again and this time it gets to Natsu, but turns out to be okay, but his scarf given to him by Igneel is looking completely black now and they turn to see the man gone not knowing who that man or what he wanted.

We find Wendy and Mesty together when Mesty notices something approaching the island and has a sinister grin on his face that he recognizes which happens to be Hades's Ship.

Hades's Ship

We find Ultear and Hades approaching the island while waiting for him to give the signal to attack the island with no one paying attention to what is going on and not noticing the ship approaching the island as well.

"I wonder what I will learn from the deepest depths of magic that Zeref had learned as well while here as he is known as the most evil person to the magic world, known for destroying civilizations and creating the demons that put the world into chaos." Hades says as he is eager to begin.

In the same room show up are 5 people looking at Hades with a bunch of their henchmen behind them waiting for order. One was Ultear, the next person was a young small woman with pink hair, yellow things on the side of her head while wearing a blue suit with long black boots that goes up to high thighs with a red cloak covering her. Next person had silver hair with glasses, wearing a gray shirt with a blue jacket with black pants and blue shoes. This next one looked like a goat, that wore an extremely small suit on them that showed it's abs as the suit wa yellow with a small tie and a tiny suit, with slacks that didn't go past the knees, and the last person had yellow blonde hair that went down to his back, wore a blue/yellow toga with a red ribbon in the middle wearing red pants underneath with bandages covering the feet from the end of the ankle to the soul of the feet.

"Many of the guild's strongest are there, many of whom had been a hand in destroying Oracion Seis and need to be careful. Naruto Uzumaki is someone with many abilities, some we have seen yet even with what I've gathered about him.

The blonde doesn't seem to care about what she is telling them. "It doesn't matter, as I will burn them all to ashes no matter who stands in my way." He says to them laughing like a maniac as black flames surround him.

"Suffocating hot as usual, Zancrow." She says to the now revealed blonde to be named Zancrow.

The goatman, however, doesn't seem to take them lightly and reminds him, "Don't take them lightly, but I was born to be here on this day." He says.

"The man wearing the jacket, "I agree with you there Capricorn as this will be an all-out war for our guild." He says agreeing with him to not take them lightly.

"How dangerous would you say Uzumaki is to our plans if we are to be successful in our mission?" Hades asks, knowing Ultear has been keeping an eye on him ever since he joined Fairy Tail.

"He's a dangerous opponent one, who will no doubt stand in our way, he needs to be dealt with immediately and first." She tells them being serious. "I will go after him myself with Zancrow assisting me since I've seen him fight and some of his attacks are catastrophic as it tore completely through Nirvana and blew it up with one attack from him and it will be easier with two of us taking him on rather than one of us." She continues.

"Very well. Get rid of him at all costs and Fairy Tail shall know darkness like never before. Griomoire Heart, will have some fun with fairies and devour them all." Hades says with a smirk.

Back to the Island

Everyone is still looking for the Grave, not knowing where to look since they weren't giving any hints and are just randomly walking around.

Naruto and Levy are making their way towards it as they are talking about what they think of the trials so far with Naruto complaining sarcastically not being able to fight anyone knowing Levy would rather not fight. "Why do you pick on me, Naru-Kun knowing I wouldn't want to, do you think little of my feelings? She asks him as she starts sniffing hoping to get him to feel guilty about it which he sees him look down on the ground with a small rain cloud muttering something like "Stupid Levy-chan making me feel bad" over and over again which makes her laugh at his antics. Until they notice two Samurai looking animals for some reason as they don't recognize being a part of the island.

"Who are you and what are you doing here? Our guild is the only one that is allowed here." Naruto asks, narrowing his eyes at them.

Before they can answer however, they find themselves both on the ground with one having been punched in the face by Levy and the other behind him with Ittoryu pointed at his neck. "I won't ask again and you better answer quickly or else." Naruto says darkly not playing around or games.

"We've been tasked with taking you out Naruto Uzumaki as you will be hindrance in Master Hades's plans and not just us who will be coming after you, but others as well." The doglike one tells him in fear for his life knowing he's at this man's mercy having not seen him move at all.

"Too bad you won't get the chance to do anything as Naruto knocks him out with a neck chop while Levy does the same by punching him in the stomach with his eyes nearly popping out of his sockets. It causes Naruto to flinch at the strength she's developed the last few months. "I think it's safe to say that we will be having company soon, I'll head to the beach to deal with them since they seem to be after me thinking I'll be a threat to them. You use the flare to signal the rest of the groups and the Master. Okay? He orders/ asks her.

"Okay, but be careful Naru-Kun, don't do anything stupid or wreckless which makes him laugh." Levy says.

"I'll try to be careful, love. Good luck." He tells her as she runs off towards the others.

"Now then, let's go see what they want with me shall we?" He asks himself.

He dashes away towards the beach where he senses a group of people getting closer to the island and to hopefully deal with them, before they can do anything to his friends and the island.

He is able to reach the beach to see people leaving the ship that's in the sky, heading towards the beach now as this was happening, Levy had shot the flare into the sky to signal everyone that an enemy is here or will be here shortly.

Naruto sees two people heading towards him specifically and realizes that these must be the people that would deal with him personally, one he recognizes from some of the visits he'd get during his time in the Tower of Heaven.

"Well well if it isn't Naruto Uzumaki, you know you've caused quite the damage to the alliance and have shown amazing abilities. Why not join us? We could use someone of your skills and abilities and not only that, but we could have some fun as well. What do you say, join a really strong guild that values your power?" Ultear asks with a sultry voice, hoping to coerce him into joining her because she'd rather have him as an ally than enemy.

"Not a chance. I still remember you from the tower during those visits and owe you for what you did to me while I was there. As for joining you, I'll have to pass as well. I will never abandon my family for some power hungry group that is threatening my home and my family. Sorry to tell you, but you'll have to kill me before I ever consider leaving them." He says defiantly.

"Oh well suit yourself. Zancrow, let's go." Ultear tells him.
