Humanity survived the war, at the cost of itself in the end. Sera was a shell of its former self and there wasn't anything left to do but rebuild from the ashes. One man wouldn't get to see that so soon; his curiosity leading him to something that was considered a once in a lifetime event, and a series of unfortunate events. Remnant would soon know of his tale through his actions.

Waking up in another world? Neh. Turning into a game character? Pfft. Getting shot, stomped on, stabbed, bit? Worse happened. Changing the plot? Already done. Getting drunk with mobsters and secret agents? Check. Sharing my mind with a serial killer? Double check! Turning enemies into friends? Get on my level Talk-no-Jutsu! In the end, it was a fun journey till it lasted.

The Vital Festival is finally here. Team RWBY and JNPR, and Lana compete in the festival to represent their schools. But the fun is ruined when Beacon is under attack and war happens. Lana gets kidnapped after the war. After Lana is saved, team RWBY and JNPR, and her family got separated. They then go on their own journeys, in hopes to find and reunite with each other.

Abandoned by her team during an exercise, she was left for dead by all she knew. Yet unexpected allies may be found upon the mysterious Mycellium Isles as well as a group which did not belong in this world.
