This story takes place right before ST4 and will go into ST4. Cassie Adams moves from California after a tradgedy in her family. She grew up in Hawkins but left in seventh grade. She will make new friends, as well as rekindle old frienships all while being thrown into the world of Stranger Things. StevexOC

Pre-series slight AU. Jim Hopper comes back to Hawkins after the death of his daughter and the bitter divorce from his wife. He finds Joyce Byers in the midst of trying to find a way through divorce herself. Their past connects them, whether they like it or not, and they come to find that they're each exactly what the other needs.

Two years after the earthquake, Hopper, Joyce, El and rest of the gang have no idea how to solve this current situation.
