Inside the Hanger Bay, the Ninja are standing in front of the huge computer. "How could anyone be moving that much Vengestone across the city?" Cole asked.
"Not by air." Zane said. "It would be detected by local air traffic control. Underground, perhaps?"
"I told you, the Serpentine say nothing's traveling through the unused subway tunnels." Lloyd said. "They'd know."
"And when are we suppose to rely on a snake's word?" Eleanor asked.
Cole has his arms folded as he thinks. "But it's moving somehow." He said with a thoughtful look. "Let's start over with what we know."
Kai sighs. "We've been at this for hours. We're just going on circles!" He complains.
"Any ideas, Jay?" Lloyd asked, turning to the blue Ninja, who seemed deep in thought.
I'm at a loss." He shook his head.
"What's the point?" The team turn to see William walking towards them from the elevator.
"Point?" Eleanor repeated. "What point?"
"Exactly that!" William is now supporting facial hair and wearing a white shirt under a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans and combat boots.
"What are you doing here?" Kai asked, walking over to him.
"I don't know." William shook his head. "But Nya wouldn't want us to quit. That she'd kick our butts and tell us to get to work. But at the same time, she's not here! So why bother trying?"
"Vengestone is dangerous when it's in the wrong hands!" Eleanor told him. "Not to mention it disables our powers when we're even near it!"
"You're acting like you're the only one who misses her." Kai rounded on William. "We all do. Especially me! Her brother! But at least the rest of us are trying to help instead of being mopey and useless!"
"Excuse me!?"
"You heard me!"
The two started to get in each other's faces, Lloyd ran up and shoved them apart.
"Stop! Look, we're all pretty keyed up right now." The blonde said, his right hand on William's shoulder and his left hand on Kai's shoulder. "Maybe we need a break."
"The hell with a break." William shoved Kai's hand off his shoulder. "I'm out of here." He turns to leave.
"So, you're abandoning this team?" Kai challenges. "Just like you abandoned your own son into my care!"
"I got it!" Jay cried suddenly, snapping his fingers. "The Vengestone would be spotted if it were being moved by air or through the known tunnel system."
"Tunnel system?" Eleanor repeated, confused.
"Yeah." He turns to Zane. "Zane, can you pull up a map of the subway tunnels below the city?"
Zane nods, before doing so.

In an abandoned subway, the Ninja climb down from a manhole and each turn on a flashlight.
"Why are we here?" Kai asked, all the Ninja are back in their gis. "We already know the Vengestone isn't being taken through the subway."
"Not the active subway lines, but the end line was shut down years ago. It's abandoned!" Jay explained as they walked.
"According to zoning plans filed with the city, the end line was never completed." Zane said as they walked down the dark tunnel. Eleanor grabbing Cole's arm as she was freaked out at being down underground.
"What if the city stopped building the subway tunnel, but someone else finished it?" Jay asked as they came to the end of the line, with a mining cart just sitting there.
The team turn off their flashlights as a lamp post shows a brick wall with confetti all over it.
"This is where the tunnel ends." Eleanor said, Jay jogged up to the brick wall.
"Or does it?" He asked, placing his hands on the bricks as he tried to find a secret entrance.
"Maybe this whole section of wall rotates around or something." Cole said, watching Jay.
Zane scans the whole wall. "Scans detect no hinges or mechanisms of any kind."
They suddenly hear a voice behind them, Eleanor squeaked and jumped onto Kai's back making him stumble as Cole grabs his hammer and approaches the mining cart, he looks inside to see the cart filled with Vengestone.
Cole started to swing his hammer, but stopped short when he saw a sleeping man, he moved his hammer to poke the sleeping man, but he stayed asleep.
"Ahh, I don't think he's breathing."
The man stood up like a zombie, scaring the Ninja and making them scream. Eleanor climbed off Kai's back to stand between Kai and Cole.
"Where have you been?" The old man demanded, clearly mistaking the Ninja with someone else. "I've been waiting for hours." He complains. "Got another shipment for ya."
Cole leaned an arm on his hammer. "Lemma guess. Vengestone?"
"Ha. What else?" The old man tossed a chunk into Cole's hand, making the Earth Ninja frown. "That's high grade Shintaro V-Stone right there, as promised." He jumps out of the cart. "Just need a signature."
Suddenly flames appear from behind, making the Ninja turn around to see Miss Demeanor.
"Hey, hey!" She smiled, pushing her goggles up. "Looky at what I'm looking at! The real deal Ninja. I was expecting you knuckleheads at the truckyards, but all I got was some multicolored phonies."
"You wanted us." Cole said as he and the other Ninja pull down their hoods. "You got us. Ready to turn yourself in?"
"Hmm, lemme think. Nope! But I am ready to part-bay." Miss Demeanor into a fighting stance. "Combat style!"
"Huh?" Kai quickly notices the gas tank strapped to her back. "Gonna be a real short fight since you wore something flammable to a battle with the Elemental Master of FIYAAA!" He throws his hands out, only for his flames to goes out.
"Kai." Eleanor groaned. "Vengestone."-
"Suppresses Elemental Powers. Right." He sighs.
Miss Demeanor didn't look impressed. "Oh, could happen to anybody. But you know what Vengestone doesn't suppress? This baby!" She then blasts the Ninja with her flamethrowers.
"Look out!" Lloyd yells in warning and the Ninja all dive or duck and do fancy dodges to avoid the attack, they quickly regroup and pull out their weapons.
"Attack!" Miss Demeanor yells to her thugs.
"No harm in some light exercise!" Kai yells as both sides run at each other, Kai locking his sword with a baseball bat, as another came at Jay.
"Fighting low lever thugs!" Jay easily dodges a blow before his hits the thug with his shoulder, knocking him down.
"Why is this light exercise so hard?" Kai complained as he continued to fight of the same thug.
Meanwhile, the old man was trying to get a signature. "Excuse me? Huh? I really need a signature! Hello?!"
Cole fights a few thugs with his hammer, before doing Spinjitzu knocking the thugs down and accidentally knocks Jay and Eleanor over.
"Cole!" The two complained as Cole comes out of Spinjitzu.
"Sorry! Sorry. My bad." Cole apologizes.
Lloyd was on his back on the ground, before kicking the thug sending him flying backwards, the old man approaches him.
"Um, sir?" He holds the clipboard. "I really need a signature!"
Miss Demeanor groans, she turns to Lloyd, who picks himself back up. "Just a warning, those other wannabe Ninjas are moving in our turf!" She throws some fire his way, and he doges them, he tries to block a flame with his sword, but it knocks him back and his sword falls to his side.
Lloyd picks himself up "We're not worried!" He runs towards her, but Zane throws a thug his way, Lloyd stops and turns to Zane. "Watch where you're throwing!"
The old man runs after a thug. "Hello!?" He yells as he holds a clipboard.
One thug is on Zane's back, as Zane tries to block a thug's bat. "I require assistance."
Kai fell onto his back as he tried to fight a thug. "You and me both!"
Miss Demeanor cackles. "Hey, what's up? You ninja out of practice or somethin'? You used to be great! You need to step it up before those other guys start horning in on yo."-
"Whenever there are criminals!" The voice had every turn to see people dressed as Ninja are they race towards the scene.
"Wherever there are."-
They jump onto each other, making a pyramid.
"Blah, blah, blah. Fireball!" She throws a fireball at them, but misses. "Oh, no, no! Attack!"
Her henchmen turn to attack the other Ninja, who take them out easily and swiftly.
"Who the hell are these guys?" Eleanor wanted to know, as Kai prepares to attack the Fuchsia Ninja defeats the two thugs.
"Hey!" Kai yells.
"Excuse me, we're in the middle of a fight here!" Jay exclaimed.
"Yeah, this is our fight!" Cole yells.
The other Ninja ignore them as they continue to take out the thugs, taking them all down, then the Teal Ninja punches Miss Demeanor's gas tank, sending her flying and she hits the walls like a pinball machine before landing in front of the pile of thugs.
"By the power vested in us by … Mayor Trustable." The Teal Ninja started.
"We hereby, arrest! You! All" Fuchsia Ninja calls, making poses.
"You can't arrest us!" Eleanor yells. "We are the real Ninja! Who the hell are you rainbow freaks!?"
Cole is baffled and confused. "How did they do that so quickly?"
"Most impressive." Zane said, completely emotionless.
"That's not impressive, Zane!" Eleanor yelled, giving him a very annoyed look, she turns back around. "Seriously. Who the hell are you rainbow freaks!?"
"The old man comes up to the Teal Ninja. "Will someone please sign this!?" He demanded.
"Anything for a fan." He takes the clipboard and signs it.
"Hey, freak, you just signed a paper for, muff." William is cut off when Kai clamps a hand over his mouth.
"Easy Will." The fire Ninja whispered. "Let the Rainbow Ninja get into trouble for signing that."

Up on the streets, the police takes the thugs away.
The Commissioner turns around. "Oh, great job, Ninja."
"Thanks, Commissioner."- Lloyd smiles, but it quickly fades when the Commissioner walks past him to the newcomers.
"Thank you, Commissioner. Just making good on the trust the mayor has placed in us." The Teal Ninja said.
"The mayor." The Commissioner scratches his head. "Right. Well. I'll just thank you on behalf of the citizens. Let's get moving!" He calls, moving away, as the Ninja walk up to the other Ninja.
"So uh, thanks, for the help back there." Cole starts.
"I mean, not like we needed it, so." Kai quickly added.
"We most definitely needed it." Zane said.
Teal Ninja waved them off. "We don't do this for the thanks. Protecting the weak is what makes all this worthwhile."
"Weak?" Kai looked insulted.
"We're not weak!" Eleanor yells, moving forward. Cole and Jay have to grab her and pull her back.
"Any time you need help, just call us. We really admire you old-timers. You're the reason we got into this business." Fuchsia Ninja said.
"We are not calling you, you Rainbow Ninja freaks!" Eleanor yelled, getting more annoyed.
"Old timers!?" Kai yelled, he made a fist. "Who are you call."-
"What Fuchsia Ninja is trying to say is sometimes we all need help." Teal Ninja said, walking up to Kai before he could summon a fireball. "Sometimes we get a little rusty, or out of shape, or uncoordinated. Like you!"
"RUSTY!?" Eleanor screamed, enraged and insulted, as Cole and Jay try to keep her back.
"Out of shape?" Lloyd is also insulted. "We just found a shipment of Vengestone, plus the villains behind it."
"Actually, you found the middlemen." Fuchsia Ninja paused in thought. "Or is it middleman?" He looks at the Yellow Ninja, who shrugs."We would have found the villain behind it all if you hadn't plundered into our operation."
Teal Ninja turns back to the Real Ninja. "We had a tracking device planted in the crate. We were gonna trace it to its final destination, but, eh, let's not cry over spilled Vengestone."
"We gotta hop." Orange Ninja said. "Apparently the mayor wants to thank us personally."
The Teal Ninja throws a teal smoke bomb and they leap away.
"I'm starting to hate them." Kai said.
"I already hate them." Eleanor said with her arms folded.

Back at the Hanger Bay, the Ninja are fuming.
"Ex Ninja!?" Lloyd yells as he paces. "Old timers? Who do they think they are!?"
"The New Ninja of Ninjago City." Zane answered, making Lloyd turn to him with a raised eyebrow. "And their arrival was fortuitous. Without their help, it is likely we would have been defeated. I calculate our odds ."
"I don't wanna know our odds, Zane." Lloyd said. "I want to know what we're gonna do about this."
"About what?" Zane asked.
"About the fact that we're being replaced! Do you even care?!" Lloyd yells, getting more and more angry.
Zane just stood there with no emotion at all while behind him William and Kai have sad and hopeless expressions.
Cole walked up to Lloyd. "Nobody is replacing us, Lloyd. And you know Zane doesn't care. He turned down his emotion chip."
"Yeah. We're all dealing with losing Nya differently." Jay said.
"Yeah, like where the hell have you been this whole time, William!?" Kai yells, turning on him.
"Who wants to know?"
"I do!" Kai yells. "You drop your kid off with me, and I don't hear from you for months! I have my own kid to worry about!" He gets in William's face. "Where have you been hiding you Morro lookalike!?"
"Whoa, that's pushing the envelope, Kai." William shoves Kai.
"No!" Kai's hands flame up. "This is!" He sends a blast at William, who summons his own Element, and the two elements slam into each other.
Zane tries to interfere as he runs up to them. "Ninja, please desist. Such a violent display of emotions is unbefitting a team."
"Then maybe we shouldn't even be a team anymore!" William yells. Unknown to all of them, Eleanor's water bottle starts to bubble.
"Fine by me!" Kai yells, throwing more power at William. "Consider this my resignation letter!" He throws another ball of fire at William, who now dodges the attack and the ball of fire destroys Cole's Rock Cycle.
"My bike!" Cole cried, running towards it as the small explosion hits the sprinklers.
The elevator opens and Wu rushes towards them. "What in the name of my father, is going on!?" He demands seeing Kai and William facing each other with their powers activated as everyone is getting drenched.
Eleanor's water bottle started to glow, gaining her attention as it bubbles, she quickly hurries away to Cole's side as they all watch.
Suddenly the water in the bottle explodes and the water from the sprinkles soon stop, creating enough water all over the place. The Ninja's eyes grow wide as the water shifts and takes a shape, shaping into Nya.
"Will? Kai?"
"Nya!" The two boys, who were just fighting literally seconds ago, are now rushing up to her.
"I need … your help." Nya was struggling to keep her human body.
"What can we do?" William asked. "Just tell us."
"There's … a way back." Nya was struggling to keep her human body.
"Sis!" Kai gasped.
"I need to." She stops as she struggles.
"Sis!" Kai pleads. "Tell us! Please, tell us what we have to do!"
"Drain - away my powers - before I - lose my shape."-
Zane suddenly freezes Nya with his ice.
"Zane, what the hell?!" Kai yells angrily.
"Apologies, but freezing her was the only way to maintain her form." Zane explained as the rest of the Ninja walk towards the table.
"Is she ok?" William asked with worry.
"Affirmative. In her aqueous state, she should experience no damage." Zane said.
"She said she needed to drain her powers away." Kai said.
"But that's impossible." Cole said.
"No. It's not." Lloyd shook his head, then pointed at Kai. "Kai had his powers taken away. Remember?"
"Yeah. I remember." Kai didn't like that fact of bringing up that old memory. "And if you're thinking what I think you're thinking."-
"That is out of the question." Wu said firmly as he walked up. "There has to be another way!"
"I'm with Master Wu." Eleanor said.
"Uncle." Lloyd walked up to Wu. "You spent the last year searching for a way to bring Nya back. Have you found anything? Anything at all?"
Wu sigh. "I have not."
William turns from Nya, to face the elder. "This is the closest thing we've ever had to a plan to save Nya!"
"This is a mistake! She can't be trusted! If we let her out of prison, even briefly, lives will be at risk." Wu argued, then sighs. "I … I cannot be part of this."
"I have to agree with Master Wu." Eleanor said, surprising Cole.
"What? Ellie!"
"We have to think this through, Cole!" She argued. "We all have kids now, we also have to think about them!"
Lloyd walked up to the middle. "This is a big decision." The blonde said. "Eleanor has a point though. I don't want my son or any of your kids to have a target on their backs."
"This is a decision we all have to make as a team." Cole said.
Kai looked around his friends. "So the question is. Are we still a team?"
It was silent as everyone looked at each other. Lloyd took another step forward.
"All in favor of going af."-
The Ninja minus Master Wu and Eleanor raise their hands before he can finish.
"Ok then." Lloyd said. "It's decided, We go get Aspheera, and save Nya."

I still can't figure out why I can't read any of my reviews. Maybe cause of the holiday?
