The police Commissioner sat in his office, paint bush in hand as he prepares to paint the small boat on his desk. Suddenly the door of his office burst open to reveal Jimmy hurrying in, and the Commissioner jumps startled as his paintbrush flies out of his hand.

"Sir! We have a lot of angry people out here!" He announces, and the Commissioner composes himself.

"What? Who?" He asked as he comes around his desk and follows Jimmy.

Once they got into the main room, the Commissioner's eyes grow wide. The Ninja's parents, Rainn, Skylor, and some other people, all of them angry. But they weren't angry at each other, they were angry at the police.

Rainn turns to see the Commissioner. "Where are the Ninja?" She demands, getting everyone's attention and they all turn to find the Commissioner.

Maya walks over to place her hands on her waist. "How dare you arrest Kai in front of his young daughter!" The Commissioner tried to speak. "How dare you! Do you have any idea what it felt like? My granddaughter was crying too hard for me to understand her!"

"Mrs. Smith, please." The Commissioner tries to calm her down. "That wasn't us. We were outside the Monastery."

"That makes things better!?" Skylor asked. "It bitterly took me all night to calm my and Kai's nine-year-old daughter down."

"Oh, the poor baby." Edna said with tears.

Lou came up to Rainn's side. "Can we see the Ninja?" He asked.

The Commissioner shook his head. "I'm."-

"Uh, sir." Jimmy leans to him, whispering in her ear.

The Commissioner nods, then clears his throat. "The Ninja are still here."

"Then let us see them!" Lou said.

"Right now, the Ninja are with their lawyer, so."-

"What lawyer?" Libber asked, her hands on her waist.

"Chantal Noble-Garmadon." The Commissioner answered. "Folks, please I am not the bad guy here."

"You still arrested them." Eleanor argued.

"I had no choice."

"Yeah, right!" Lou said, then he got red in the face. "You should've refused!" He yelled.

"YEAH!" The whole crowd yelled.

Inside a room, the Ninja and Chantal sat a table. "It's a mob outside, guys." She told them. "And not just in the main room, but outside too."

"So that's all that racket." Cole said.

"Yep." Chantal nods. "Everybody's angry."

"Who's all here?" Jay asked.

"I lost count. But all your parents are here."

"Both my mothers!?" Jay cried with shock, and Chantal nods.

"Yeah."

"What about our kids?" Lloyd asked.

"Master Wu is looking after Little Wu, Raya, Tony and Sebastian with the help of the Elemental Masters and, Dr. Borg is looking after Lily."

"Can we see our parents?" Cole asked.

"I can try to make that happen." Chantal answered. "I can't promise anything."

Later that day, the Ninja are dressed in formally as they sat at a table with Chantal, the gallery is filled with parents of the Ninja and citizens. The trail had lasted for hours, now it was time for the judge to render his verdict, then asked for the Ninja to stand.

"In all my years as a judge, I have never seen such a callous disregard for public safety as I have in this case. The ninja put the entire city at risk by freeing the convicted criminal Aspheera, and then helping to arm her with the very weapon she used to attack this city. Do you have anything to say in your defense before I pass judgement?"

Chantal jumped up. "Yes!" She walks around the table. "Your Honor, the Ninja have been protecting this city for years. From Lord Garmadon, Pythor, the Serpentine, the Great Devourer and many others who wanted to take over our city." She tries. "The Ninja did what they did to save a fellow Ninja." Chantal walks over to stand next to Kai. "And not just a fellow Ninja, Kai's sister."

The gallery goes into an uproar with agreements.

The judge bangs his gavel down a few times. "Order!" He yells. "Order!" He bangs the gavel down a few more times, until it's finally quiet.

"Your Honor, these men do great thing!" Chantal added, moving towards him. "They wouldn't have hurt the city if those other Ninja hadn't interfered. They also did damage to our city."

"I've heard enough." The Judge said, holding up a hand. "I do knowledge that the Ninja has saved the city time and time again. But I cannot ignore the facts that they broke the law and did hundreds of dollars in damage. The Ninja will be sentenced to five years in Kryptarium Prison." He bangs his gavel again.

Chantal stood there in shock and horror, as behind her the Ninja look at each other, and the gallery is in an angry uproar.

"Order!" The Judge bangs his gavel down. "Order in the court!" He demands, the gallery is still in an uproar. "Clear the court!"

That night, inside Kryptarium Prison, the Ninja are taken to their cell. "I can't believe it." Kai said. "After all we've done for Ninjago."

"This is how they repay us!" William added.

"Oh this is bad! This is really bad! Do you know how many people in here probably hate us?" Jay complained.

"All of us!" An inmate yelled, before things were thrown at the Ninja.

They come up to a cell. "It would appear there are only four beds, but six of us." Zane observed, and his friends give him looks.

"That's the least of our problems." Kai said.

"Yeah." Cole agrees, folding his arms. "I don't think I'm gonna be sleeping much. And Eleanor is a cuddler."

"If you are certain, I will take a bunk." Zane said, making Cole look at him.

"Huh?"

"How can you be so calm about this?!" Jay demanded.

Lloyd placed a hand on his shoulder. "You know full well he turned off his emotion meter, Jay." He reminds.

Jay folds his arms. "Well, it would be nice to get a human reaction once in a while!" He yelled.

"Yeah." William agrees. "Turn it back on, Zane."

"If it would make you feel better, I can switch it on again, and react appropriately." Zane said.

"It might, actually." Kai said.

Zane opens the compartment and turns his emotion meter back on, before he starts screaming. Kai quickly covers his mouth while Cole turns the switch back off.

"Not helping." Cole said flatly. "What do we do?"

"I vote we break out of here." Kai suggests and lights his hands on fire.

"We can't do that. We'd just be breaking more laws. Our best bet is to go along with this. No fighting, no powers. Just behave, and let Chantal figure out a way to get us out of here legally." Lloyd argued.

"Chantal was a sobbing mess when we were escorted out of the courtroom." William said.

Lloyd sighs sadly. "Yeah, I saw that too. But she's smart! If anyone can help us right now, it's her!"

At the Monastery, Chantal is in bed, hiding under a pile of blankets. She ignores the knock on her door and it opens. "Unless you have painful instruments, go away!" She yelled through tears, before stuffing her head back under the pillow.

Master Wu perches himself down on the edge of the bed. "Child, calm yourself." He said gently. "Now, sit up. I've brought you some Calming Tea."

Chantal slowly sits up, wiping her tear stained face as she places the pillow in her lap, before accepting the tea.

"The Ninja have no one to blame but themselves."

Nya walks in with Skylor. "How can you say that?" Nya wants to know.

"Nya, I understand why they did what they did. And frankly, part of me is glad. But it does not change the facts. They broke the law and freed Aspheera. She is now loose." Wu told her.

Nya's shoulders slump. "This is all my fault. And I'm powerless to do anything to help them!" She angrily leaves the room, her friends watching her leave.

"Poor Nya." Skylor shook her head. "She must feel terrible."

"Nya has never been powerless." Wu said. "Even before she was an elemental master, she was known as Samurai X and helped many people without any powers. She will find herself in time."

That night, in the city at Lou's home, Eleanor is sitting in a rocking chair, gently rocking it as she gently hums a soft tune, while she's holding a teary eyed Lily who woke up crying and wanting Cole.

Back at the Monastery, while it was late, Raya pushes open Kai's old bedroom door, she looks around before moving to the bed and climbs under the blankets, snuggling under them and grabbing one of the pillows to hug before she tries to go back to sleep.

Later, back at the Prison, Lloyd is escorted back to the cell.

"What happened?" Jay asked.

"It wasn't Master Wu."

"Who was it?" Cole asked.

"I have no idea." Lloyd answered, shaking his head. "Does the name 'Crystal King' mean anything to you?"

Zane sat up from one of the bottom bunks. "Negative. I find no references to that name in any of my databases."

"Who or what is a 'Crystal King'?" Kai asked, scratching his head.

"I don't know." Lloyd said with worry. "But I have a bad feeling we're about to find out."
