Okay so this update might be a little messy because I was going through a medical detox and everything but I wanted to write lol I rested up before doing so though so I promise I didn't write instead of actually resting lol

Anyway~ I hope you all enjoy this! Much love to the lot of ya!

"You two have everything?" I smiled toward Sasha as the morning sun was gracing the skies not too far from us all.

"Last I knew, yeah." I chuckled a little as I looked over toward Lili with a smirk. "You got your three bags of camping supplies?"

"First off, fuck you." Lili gave me a sweet smile despite the aggressive tone in her voice. "Secondly, yes. Everything should already be on the ship."

"Watch your tongue, little lady." Milla placed a loving hand on Lili's shoulder as she seemed to try and stifle a laugh. "How would your father react to such language?"

"Tell me that it's not ladylike."

"And I already know how Lili would respond." The two of us smiled widely at one another as Milla rolled her eyes lovingly. "Fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck." Lili and I laughed wholeheartedly after speaking in unison.

"Alright you two, get yourself on board then. Mr. Zanotto is expecting us as soon as possible." I gave Sasha a wide excited grin as the lot of us started making on way on board.

"Oh! Does that mean he has a mission for us? It's been a while since I've been on a real mission! Not since the incident with Grulovia and having to kick a royal's ass for kidnapping my great aunt." I felt a small punch hit me in the shoulder which left a familiar sting before the girl beside me answered smoothly.

"Don't get your hopes up too much. Remember what dad said? Wanting to give us just a little bit of a childhood when he can? If it was a mission he would put us on, we would have been dragged off already." I couldn't help but take a second to look over toward the girl beside me as we made our way to our old seats in the seating bay. Her arms crossed knowingly and an ever so endearing smirk on her lips. There was also a gleam in her hazel eyes that nearly dared me to contest her about the information, but she knew I wouldn't. She knew I understood she was right.

"Can't help but get my hopes up though." I reached up to scratch the back of my neck as I took my seat across from her. "Kinda want that thrill of helping people again." I watched as a soft look suddenly took over her face. One I knew all too well as reserved for me and me alone most times before it was suddenly replaced with a stoic demeanor.

"Always so kind." She muttered the words, hoping I couldn't hear it from across the way, but I did. I wouldn't let my face give that away though as she looked over toward me completely. "I'm sure something will show up. Not always this quiet for the Psychonauts for too long. We're just only pulled in when the important stuff happens."

Well. Can't blame a guy for trying. After all, I got my first kiss from it. Maybe if the world needed a rambunctious duo of teenagers, then maybe I could get the courage to ask her out.

I felt a soft smile take over my lips as gave me a curious look. As if she was trying desperately to tap into my mind and see what I was thinking. Luckily due to my nature hard-headed nature, my thoughts were secure unless I let her in consciously. Besides that, my thoughts were mine and mine alone to endure.

So thinking of kissing her when we were ten is something I can keep to myself without any fear.

My mind went on to picture the memory as my eyes kept themselves locked with hers.

The falling pieces of rubble. The frightened look in her hazel eyes with a quiet love-stuckness to them. I could still remember how her lips felt on mine. How soft they were despite the hardship we had been put through in less than twenty-four hours. It was childish and rushed, but it was fitting. The two of us did not know anything about what we were doing but understood enough that it was a chance we should take. It was rushed and messy, but perfect in its imperfections.

"A picture would last longer, Aquato." I snapped back into reality as a blush took over my cheeks and I twisted my chair so I was now staring toward the nose of the Pelican instead of Lili's face.

"Right. Sorry." I muttered the words more to myself than anything, but I was sure she could hear me by the little hum she gave in reply.

Well, Razputin, she won't need to tap into our thoughts to understand what we're feeling if we keep doing shit like that.

"Everyone good and well? Nothing else to bring or any second thoughts?" Sasha took his place next to Milla at the front of the Pelican before crossing his right leg over his left at the knee. "Last call."

"Nope." Get me outta here before I make a bigger mess of myself, please and thank you.

"Sounds good." Sasha gave a knowing smile as he turned his chair toward the front window of the Pelican. The psychic jet kicked into gear once he and Milla saw fit.

Now. Let's hope I don't make a fool of myself in front of Mr. Zanotto as much as I have here today. I don't think I can handle much more embarrassment by the feel of it.

"Ah! There's my little girl!" I watched with a smile after we landed as Truman Zanotto held out his arms to greet us all. More specifically, Lili. "How was camp this year? No mishaps I hope."

"Nothing too bad." Lili gave her father a knowing smile as she glanced out of the corner of her eyes toward me. "Nothing but some cheap old pranks, right Pootie?" I rolled my eyes at Lili's voice that filled my head.

"My family nickname should die~."

"Aw but it's cute."

"Again, it can die."

"Well, when you two are being psychic sweethearts, let me know." I felt my face flush as I looked back toward Mr. Zanotto who gave both of us a smirk. One that was met with a fuming Lili.

"Dad!" A small spur of fire came out of her fist as she clutched them tightly by her sides. "Not funny!"

"I'm just teasing. I swear." Truman put his hands up with a sweet smile as he looked between the both of us. "I meant no harm, you two."

"Uh-huh." Lili crossed her arms over her chest as the small bit of fire within her started to die out rather quickly. Without even thinking, I reached out from my place beside her and placed a hand gently at the top of her back right where her neck began. I gave a gentle rub to the spot knowing that it was where the girl kept all her tension to help and try to calm her down from burning the docking area from the small retort.

"I feel ya, Lils. Just a joke though." I kept my thought to her at a minimum. Making sure I didn't say too much or let myself get away from my own emotions how frantic my thoughts became.

Does he know or something? Am I that like... Obvious? Fuck. Oh shit. Alright. Is it actually a joke? I hope it's a joke. I am not ready for Zanotto's 'What Not To Do With My Daughter' talk. Does he know about the kiss? Gods I fucking hope not. If I used clairvoyance on him, would he see me as some kind of nervous dork trying to take his daughter out? He wouldn't be wrong. Though-.

"Well, I do have some exciting news for the lot of you." I snapped my attention back toward Truman as a proud smile took over his face. "A mini-mission, if you will."

"A mini-mission?"

"Yes." Truman gave me his full attention as he continued. "The Psychic Seven has wished to see the both of you. I wish I had more details, but they said specifically for you and Lili alone. I bet they have a few new tricks they think you two are ready for."

"Really?" I gave Lili my attention as she gave her father a confused look. "I thought they said they had taught us all they know-."

"For now." Truman was sure to emphasize the word as he placed a hand on her right shoulder. "Now being the specific word." He put a hand on my left shoulder as he brought both of us closer to him. "You two have grown considerably since you were kids and you are both prodigies in your own right, but that does not mean that more complicated abilities and tactics would be understandable for the both of you."

"So more training from great aunt Lucy? Hell yeah." I smiled proudly as I looked over toward Lili. "Does mean some time with your uncles too." I watched a soft smile grace her lips as she thought of her uncles. I knew it wasn't all too often that she got to see Bob and Helmet, but they were a big part of who she has grown into becoming. Bob being one of the very few people in the world to understand her ruthless anger and plant connections as Helmet just loved her unconditionally as a great-niece.

"Yeah. True. Just surprised is all."

"A good surprise, I hope." I smiled toward Truman as he gave both of us a pat on our shoulders. "Now, hop to it. They're waiting for the both of you."

"Sure thing, Mr. Zanotto."

"Son, I have known you since you were five. Please just call me Truman." I blushed softly at the old nickname he gave me when I was younger as I grabbed Lili by the hand and pulled us from his grasp.

"Truman. Got it. Always been bad about that."

"No harm done, son."

"Alright, let's go." Lili took the lead at that point as if the conversation was irritating or aggravating her in some way before rushing toward where the Otto-BON lid was. "Bye, dad!"

"Stay safe you two!" I waved sheepishly toward the man as I let Lili drag me away with ease with only one thought in mind.

At least I didn't have to deal with too much embarrassment.
