Summary: Finally, after seventeen years of waiting and watching, Alice finally meets her mate in the form of Isabella Swan. (Bella/Alice)

Chapter 1: My Mate is Coming

Alice was excited. She was finally going to meet her mate after over a hundred years of waiting. She has been watching her mate since the day she was born. After her mate's parents divorced, Alice made sure that Renee took care of Bella. Alice and her family made sure that Bella had a carefree childhood. The alternative was heartbreaking. If they hadn't been looking out for Bella over the years, her childhood would have been taken from her due to Renee's irresponsibility and selfishness. Bella would have been made to cook, clean, work, and pay the bills because of Renee's flightiness.

Thankfully, they stepped in before that could happen. Isabella Marie Swan grew into a wonderful young woman. She knew how to work hard, and have a good time. She also knew it was okay to allow others to take care of when needed. Bella was an intelligent, confident, independent, easy going young lady. The one thing that Alice had to come to terms with while watching her mate over the years was Bella detested shopping, and she hated preppy clothing. Bella was a tomboy, and proud of it.

From watching her over the years, Alice knew that Bella would be one of the guys with her brothers. Bella was not afraid to get dirty, and she loved sports.

"She's coming! She's coming!" Alice screamed, excitedly. Bella was finally coming home. Granted, she wasn't happy about living with her father because they hardly knew each other, and he barely made an effort over the years to get to know his own daughter. Luckily, Carlisle had bribed Charlie Swan, and they were allowed to build Bella her own space onto the property, and she had her own car instead of that unsafe truck that Charlie had purchased for her. It just goes to show that Charlie did not know a thing about his daughter, considering Bella didn't drive a car, but a motorcycle.

Bella's space was built onto Charlie's house, but separate. It was more of a large apartment complex. The only thing they did especially for Bella was design a large home gym with a basketball court.

Alice and her family didn't like the motorcycle, but they noticed over the years, that Bella would never allow anyone telling her what she can and can't do. Alice had seen that if she had done that, it would spell the end of their relationship. She loved Bella, and would never risk their relationship.

"Bella's finally coming?" Jasper asked his pixie sister just as his mate, Edward took his hand. "It's about time," Emmett said, as he and Rose entered the room. "I can't wait to meet her," Rose said, surprising everyone. It was no secret that Rose hated beinging a vampire and would have committed suicide if she hadn't found Emmett.

"Don't you hate that she will be turning into a vampire in just over a year?" Carlisle asked his eldest daughter. "I've had sixteen years to get used to the idea. Besides, if Bella isn't turned, she'll die, and Ali will seek out her own death. I don't want to lose one sister, let alone two," Rose explained. "I'm proud of you, flower," Esme said, smiling as she took her daughter into her arms.

"When will she be home?" Edward asked. "Tomorrow. She almost decided not to come because she was offered the captain position of the girl's basketball team," Alice explained, but she knew her mate was not happy about it. Sports meant everything to Bella. Luckily, Forks High School an all-girls team that Bella would join, and in three months time, Bella would be captain unless something changed. Alice couldn't wait to steal her mate's jersey and jacket. From her visions, Bella wouldn't mind one damn bit, considering she was a possessive mate. Granted, the jersey and jacket would be a little big on her considering Alice was five-foot-one, thankfully with curves in all the right places, while Bella was five-foot-four.

"I'm not surprised. From the games we snuck into, Bella more than earned it," Emmett said, and Jasper nodded in agreement. Hell, if there is a sports team nearby and a martial arts studio and gym, Bella would be happy. He, Edward, and Emmett were more than happy to have a sister that wouldn't be afraid to get dirty. That was a dream come true, considering Rosalie and Alice wouldn't do anything that involved getting dirty. The only time Rose wasn't a girly girl was when she worked on cars.

"Will she like her bedroom?" Esme asked, concerned because she had designed it with her youngest in mind. The walls were a freshly painted a striking, dusty midnight blue, and the doors and trim were painted the darkest black. One wall was made entirely of glass, providing a magnificent view of the surrounding forest. There were bookshelves all along one wall, filled with all types of literature-modern, classic, historical, even architectural. Along another wall were two doors-one led into the walk-in closet, and the other to the large bathroom. And along the last wall, it was an inbuilt entertainment center, with movies and music of every type, and under the entertainment center, was a fireplace. Bella's bed was a California King, with a black iron frame, and the bedside tables were Dark Charcoal stained oak, with silver iron table lamps, with a lighter shade of gray. Lastly, the floor was, again, Dark Charcoal stained oak hardwood, with a midnight blue plush carpet under the bed to prevent scratching, and in the far corner of the room, was a guitar stand for Bella's guitar.

"We may have trouble getting her to leave the room," Alice muttered, causing laughter to ring throughout the room as Esme beamed a beautiful smile. "I can design your bedroom in a similar design if you would like," Esme offered to Alice. To be honest, Alice wouldn't mind. Pink can get old, fast, and Bella hated the color pink. "Can you design it in an Evergreen shade of green with black, white, and metallic accents?" she asked.

"Of course, I can," Esme said, smiling. "Thank you," Alice said, smiling as she wandered back into her bedroom, and started sorting the closet. It couldn't be considered a closet, more like a small mall. It had three levels. Furthermore, it had more than enough room for Bella's clothing. She had gone shopping and purchased two complete wardrobes for Bella. One for her home, and one for the Cullen home, so Bella wouldn't worry about packing a bag every weekend.

"I can't wait to meet you in person, my mate," Alice muttered, feeling the mating pull begin to emerge.

Chapter 2: Meeting of Mates

Bella was moving back to Forks, Washington. She didn't want to, as she loved the city life, but her mother had recently remarried, and Bella didn't want to be around them. They were sickeningly sweet. It got on her nerves. She was happy her mother found the one for her, but Bella didn't want to see it. But the thing she hated the most was having to live with Charlie. She hasn't talked to him since he disowned her for beinging a lesbian. If he couldn't accept her for who she was, then Charlie can stick it where the sun doesn't shine. Bella was actually surprised that he was allowing her to move in with him, but come to find out, there was a building built onto the house for her.

Bella was thankful for that because she had no time for someone like Charlie.

When she arrived at the house, she made her way towards the back of the house, entering the little building, and she was stunned. Someone designed it as if they had known her style. That should have creeped her out, but she only found it in herself to be grateful. There was a small kitchen, laundry, and living room. Her bedroom was everything she could have asked for, but the best part was the gym. She loved it.

Not wanting to be around Charlie, she unpacked what she brought, but the only things she cared about were the game balls that she had been given by her coach in Phoenix and her guitar. She won every game back home and was proud of the fact. After she put everything in its place, she took her motorcycle out and rode it around town. She hadn't been in Forks since she was four, so she needed to find her way around. She refused to go to Charlie for anything. The first thing she did was see if anyone was hiring. Thankfully, Newton's Outfitters was hiring, and she started Monday afternoon when school let out.

Before she knew it, it was Monday. Hopefully, the girl's basketball team was looking for players. She got dressed in an extra-long T-shirt that hugged her curves, a vegan leather jacket, zip fly jeans, a long necklace, boots, and shades. She ran a comb through her hair and left the house with her book bag and gym bag. She got inside her brand new 2009 Porsche Cayenne S. It was glossy black, sleek, and simply stunning. It was an expensive vehicle. She had no idea who had gotten it for her, but she knew over the years someone had been making sure that she had everything she could ever need.

When she pulled into the school parking lot, she parked next to a Volvo S60R. Again, it was beautiful, but it wasn't her kind of car. As she got out, people were stunned. This young woman was beautiful. They watched Bella scan the parking lot, before she reached into the car, and grabbed her gym bag.

"Beautiful," Alice muttered as Bella walked by them. "She is," Rose said. "Why did she cut her hair? It looks good," Emmett asked, not knowing that Bella could hear them. She looked back at them, stunned. She saw them a lot over the years. "You five, get over here," they heard her whisper under her breath. They looked at each other in stunned disbelief, before walking toward her. "I'm going to take a wild guess and say that I was never supposed to know you were watching me the whole time I was growing up. And given that you haven't aged, you're not human. I won't ask just yet, but thank you for everything you have done for me," Bella said, smiling before her gaze settled on Alice.

She was transfixed. This stunning angel was the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. The world faded away as they continued to lock eyes. "Do they know that we're still here?" Emmett asked, laughingly. "We know, we just don't care. I will see you guys later," Bella said, walking towards the office. She found it hard to take her mind off that beautiful girl.

Later in the day, the Cullens couldn't find Bella, but when Alice saw where she was, they just shook their heads in fond amusement. Bella was in the gym playing basketball. "Don't you ever stop playing?" Jasper drawled in amusement. "Why would I do that? I love the game," she said, tossing the ball at Emmett. "Wanna play?" she smirked, causing them to laugh before the guys joined her. Alice and Rose sat this game out. They loved how Bella instantly bonded with the guys. They played during the whole lunch hour, and when they asked if Bella had eaten, they didn't like her response.

"No. I eat protein bars and drink protein shakes. I can't eat before I play, or I get a cramp," she explained, digging out a chocolate chip protein bar. "You have got to take care of yourself," Alice said. "Your father is my doctor. He said protein snacks and shakes would keep me healthy. I believe him. I do eat lunch, but not before a game. Besides, I killed time in here because I don't like being gawked at," Bella explained, causing them to look down when they heard the steel tone of voice from her. They have heard it before, and never wanted to be on the receiving end. Granted, Alice was just worried about her mate, but they knew if they forced the issue, Bella would stay angry at them until they stopped trying to tell her what to do.

"Alright. We're sorry," Rose muttered, not wanting her new sister to be angry at them or at Alice. "Forgiven," Bella said before going to her last class of the day. When the end of the day bell rang, Bella was stunned when the coach stopped her.

"Swan, how long have you been playing basketball?" he asked. "Three years, sir," she said. "You would have to try out in front of the team first, but how would you like to join the girl's basketball team?" he asked, smiling as her face went from hope to excitement. "Are you kidding? I would love to!" she exclaimed. The Cullen's were just outside the door, and they grinned when they heard the excitement in their sister's voice. "Tomorrow after school we have a practice scheduled, be in the gym when school lets out," the coach said, causing Bella to beam and run out of the room, stopping when she saw the Cullen's waiting for her.

"I'm not even going to ask how you knew I was here," she said laughingly. "I'll see you tomorrow. I have to work," Bella said, walking outside and got into her car, driving away. "She will be a handful," Edward said, laughing as they went home.
