Chapter 1: Bella's Coming Home

After eight years of beinging away from home, Bella was going back. The day she graduated from high school, Bella left and never looked back. She kept in touch with the pack, and her father, but other than that, she stayed away. It held too many memories. She had been shafted by a vampire, and abandoned by the people she viewed as family. The hurt quickly turned to rage and hatred. Bella had vowed to make them pay, and she was proud to say she did.

The first thing she did, was steal all the money from the house, and gave it to the tribe, not that the pack or elders knew that. She took all the journals about different covens and nomads, and again, gave them to the elders, so they would have a true accounting of the vampire world. She took what she wanted, and while Bella may have come to hate Edward and his family, she didn't see the need to destroy priceless books, so she kept those and stored them in a storage unit in Seattle. After she took what she wanted, Bella blew the place up. She had asked Jake if he wanted Rosalie's car parts and tools, and luckily, he did. It would save him a lot of time in starting his own garage. Bella sold the cars, and added the money to her college fund.

Since she was under the protection of another supernatural race, the Volturi couldn't force her to change into a vampire, so Bella told them everything. The Cullen's were now forced to live in the vampire capital of the world until her life was spent. She was safe from them. The Volturi had thought it was fair to take fifty percent of each mated couple's wealth, and signed it over to Bella. Edward, on the other hand, lost seventy-five percent of his wealth to Bella. And since their house in Forks was no more, the Volturi signed over the deed of the land and gave it to Bella. The only one that didn't put up a fuss about it, was Jasper. He thought it was deserved, considering the other's played with her emotions, and placed her under their thrall, so they could control her.

There was now a hotel, and hunting lodge on the land. Bella wanted to bring in more business for her hometown and La Push.

Anyway, Jasper had told his coven, his brother and sister, Peter and Charlotte to hunt down Victoria and kill her, so Bella would be free to live her life. Victoria was now ashes in the wind thanks to the Whitlock coven. Come to find out, Alice hadn't been Jasper's mate at all, Kate of the Denali coven was, in truth, his true mate. The Major emerged, and killed Alice before she knew what had happened. Bella had been happy to hear that, considering she didn't want that bitch to spy on her.

Edward was now on the receiving end of emotional multiplication, and he didn't like it. It took all of six months, and he was broken. He was a ghost of himself. When the Cullen's discovered that Bella had turned them in, they were enraged. Thankfully, they couldn't do a damn thing about it. Bella knew the worse part of their punishment was having to feed on humans, because they were not allowed to venture out of the castle dungeon. They were in vampire proof cells. Well, not Jasper. He joined the guard for a period of fifty years, then he was free to go back to Texas and join his coven.

After getting her revenge, Bella put them out of her mind. She refused to allow them to continue to take over her life. She vowed to herself that she would move on and live her life in any way she chose. Over the past eight years, Bella got her degree in architecture, and interior design. In her downtime, Bella drew and painted and sold them to art gallery's. The money from her paintings and drawings went into a separate account for household necessities. Hell, when her father married Sue Clearwater, he sold the house, and Bella bought it and tore it down, and built a new one in its place. It was gorgeous.

The perk of her father marrying Sue, was that Bella now could share everything with her father, and not worry about anyone's secret. When he and the pack found out what the Cullen's did to her, they blew a fuse. She was now free of the horrid nickname that Paul had called her. He had called her leech lover. It had been heartbreaking to know that someone she grew up with thought so little of her. But when Paul found out what they had done to her, Bella was surprised that he was the first to phase in a protective rage. It had been nice to gain her childhood friend and protector back.

But the pack and her father knew nothing of her revenge, and it would stay that way until Bella was back home where she belonged. Anyway, the reason Bella rebuilt the house was because she needed new memories. She did not want one thing to remind her of Edward. It was bad enough that she had been forced to date him under the thrall, but she would be damned if he took her security away. Forks and La Push has always made Bella feel safe and secure. She couldn't wait to be home. She had big plans for the area.

But before she had the house tore down, and a new one built in its place, Bella found her birthday presents from her eighteenth birthday. She burned the pictures, kept the plane tickets, and visited her mother, and sold the jewelry. Bella never wore that crap, so she hadn't needed it. She also sold all the pointless clothing and shoes, after letting the res girls pick out what they wanted. Bella was a simple woman, she didn't need clothing that cost hundreds of dollars. Granted, over the years, she did upgrade her wardrobe, but it was still the simple style that she loved, but an enhancement.

Anyway, over the years, Bella had noticed that the buildings and homes in Forks and La Push were falling apart, and she wanted to fix that. She also wanted to set up a wildlife reserve, due to all the hunting both humans and vampires did. Goodness, her father, and uncle Billy, hunted and fished every weekend, and they didn't seem to grasp that the animals are dying out in the area because of it. It needed to stop, at least for a while, so the animals will stop beinging in danger of dying off in the Forks and La Push forest. Hell, the pack hunted in their wolf forms occasionally because their shifting abilities took a lot of calories and energy.

Bella took one last look around her Seattle apartment, well more like penthouse, and left. She had thought about selling it, but she figured she could either rent it out, or the imprinted couples could use it for a weekend getaway. Either way, Bella wouldn't care.

"Home at last," Bella muttered, as she drives towards Forks, Washington in her truck. Most would sell it to a collector, but Bella couldn't imagine parting with it, so she paid Peter Whitlock to restore it a few years ago, replace the seats, and add a fresh coat of paint. The truck was now cherry red, with beige leather seats. Bella loved it. She didn't have to part with her father's gift to her. Whenever she started a family, she would purchase another vehicle, but until then, she would continue to drive her beloved truck.
