Chapter 1: Bella

Captain Don Cragen was in for one hell of a surprise. He was going to be seeing his daughter for the first time in more than a year. The reason he hasn't seen Bella for so long was that she was on a book tour. Isabella Cragen was a very successful author.

Don was a very proud father. When he came to work that morning, Don wasn't expecting to see his little girl. But later that afternoon, Bella walked into the 1-6 precinct wanting to surprise her father.

"Can I help you?" Elliot asked the beautiful woman who walked into the precinct wearing a black off-the-shoulder layered long-sleeved shirt, a black leather skirt, black panty-hoes that covered her long legs, and black heels. Her hair was down in curls, and she was wearing simple diamond stud earrings. He has never seen anyone look so perfect.

"I'm looking for Captain Cragen," she said as she beamed a beautiful, bright smile that could light up a room. "May I know why you're looking for him?" he asked curiously.

"I am his daughter. My name is Isabella, but I go by Bella," she answered, smiling at him. He was the sexist man she has ever laid her eyes on. "A beautiful name for a gorgeous woman," he muttered, but by the way she was smiling at him, she heard every word.

"Thank you," she said, smiling. "Will you tell me where I can find my dad?" she asked again. "Through that door," he motioned to Cap's office. "Thank you," she said before walking towards her father's office, feeling eyes on her as she went. Elliot couldn't take his eyes off of her, especially her swaying hips. This woman was going to kill him if the Captain did not kill him first.

"Bella!" everyone heard exclaimed throughout the squad room. They peeked around the corner of the Captain's door, seeing him hugging and swinging Bella around in circles, laughing and smiling. They all hurried and started looking like they were working when the Captain came towards the door beaming, tugging the woman behind him. "Everyone! I'd like you to meet someone. This is my daughter. Isabella," he announced, causing his daughter to pink up in the cheeks. She may be known to the world, but these people were people that her father cared about.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you. I have heard so much about you. You can call me Bella or Izzy," she said as everyone gathered around her. She was a cop's daughter. That made her family. "I'm stealing my father for lunch," she said, smiling. Elliot was trying not to stare too much, but it was difficult. This woman took his breath away.

"Munch, Elliot, you're in charge," Cragen announced, grabbing his coat, and putting it on, as he helped Bella with hers.

For the next two hours, Cragen caught up with Bella. He was stunned at the success of her book tour. He was so proud of her. She may have finished the last book of the Twilight Saga books, but she was already working on another book for a Trilogy. Bella didn't tell him what the book was about. She was not discussing a book like that with her father. She hoped he would never read the Fifty Shades Trilogy. Furthermore, she would never be able to look him in the eye again.

Having to get ready for a book signing that night, Bella went back to her hotel, but sent her father back to the precinct with so much food and drinks for his people, that it took three trips from the car to the squad room to get everything inside. "Wow! Cap, you didn't have to get so much food," Olivia said, smiling, but dished some up. She was starving. It had been twelve hours since anyone has eaten.

"I didn't. Bella did. She says that we put our lives in jeopardy every day, and no one does anything to make sure you have everything you need. Don't be surprised if we get daily lunch deliveries day in and day out," Cragen explained, making everyone look at each other in shock. It was nice that someone cared about whether they ate or not.

"Your daughter is amazing," Fin mumbled around his drink. "We are all invited to her book signing event. It's celebrating her last book of the Twilight Saga," he explained, causing the women in the room eyes to widen in amazement.

"I read those books. I wonder if she'll sign my copies," Olivia muttered. It may have been books geared more towards a teenage audience, but the books are incredible. "She will," Cragen said, before entering his office.

Thankfully, they didn't get a case that day, so they mainly caught up on paperwork. When they all left, it didn't take them long to get ready for the book signing, and when they arrived, they were stunned. There was a line that wrapped around the block. There were cops around to help with the chaos of the crowds. "Captain Cragen, I was told you and your team could go right in. Follow me," a man said and at first, they didn't know who he was, but when the light caught him just right, they were stunned. It was John Hawkins.

"Hawk, what are you doing here?" Cragen asked. "Bella offered me a job as her personal security guard. I'm retired, but my job is to protect. I couldn't just sit around," he said, making the guys nod in agreement. They couldn't do it either.

"Hey, daddy," Bella stood up and hugged her father. "Is it always this crowded?" he asked worriedly. "Sometimes it's worse. That's why I hired a security guard," she said but decided not to mention beinging grabbed at or about an incident last year. She had been stalked by a crazy fan, he followed her everywhere. And somehow, he had gotten into her home. Luckily, Jacob Black was now in prison for a long time because of the stalking, assault, and battery when she didn't return his affections. Bella didn't know when he would be getting out, but just in case, she filed a restraining order.

When the night came to a close four hours later, Bella invited her father and his team to her house, so she could treat them to dinner and get to know them better. She especially wanted to know more about Elliot Stabler.
