Summary: Cooper never expected to find the perfect woman for him after his fling with Charlotte. (Bella/Cooper)
Chapter 1: The Woman (Rough draft which includes grammar mistakes).
After his fling with Charlotte King, Cooper never expected to meet the woman of his dreams. He met Isabella Swan in a bar, and she was different from any other woman he has ever met. He smiled as he thought back to that night. It changed his life.
Three months earlier...
Coop was drinking with Pete and Sam when he caught sight of the most stunning woman he has ever seen. She was the only woman in the bar that wasn't wearing heels or looked to be trying to get laid. She appeared to be five-foot-four inches. She was short but she had curves in all the right places, deep rich mahogany brown hair, and beautiful soulful chocolate brown eyes. She was wearing a black and silver ombre sequin shirt, a black waterfall jacket, and low-rise skinny jeans with black sequin flats. He shouldn't know what the hell she was wearing but it came from being friends with Addison.
When he looked away from her, he was feeling nervous for the first time in years. Pete and Sam were stunned at his demeanor. It wasn't like Cooper to be this nervous. They followed his eye-line, and they understood. They could tell this woman was different. She didn't seem to be the bar type of girl. She seemed to want to be anywhere else, but they could clearly see that she was with friends by the way she danced and embraced her friend, and from the sash over the blonde's shoulder, it was a bachelorette party.
"Go over there," Pete said smirking at Cooper when he saw the woman glance his friend's way. "Yeah," Cooper said standing and walking towards the beautiful woman. "Hi. I'm Cooper," he introduced himself smiling when the mystery woman's friend pushed her towards him. "I'm Bella. I was wondering if you were going to come over to talk with me," she said shaking his hand. "I lost my nerve. My friends made me come over," he smiled. "I'll have to thank them," she laughed, and he was entranced.
"I've never seen you here before," he said. "I just moved here when I got a job offer and I invited my friends out here for their bachelor and bachelorette parties," she told him as they sat down in a corner booth. "What do you do?" he asked. "I teach the third grade," she smiled. She couldn't stop staring at him. He had deep brown eyes and was the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes upon. He had an honest face with the kindest eyes she has ever gazed into. This was a man she needed to get to know.
"I work with children also," he said watching as she beamed this breathtaking smile. It was so beautiful that his breath caught in his throat. "I'd like to get to know you, but you look like you're on the rebound. I'm not a rebound girl. I'm the girl you take home to meet the parents. Call me when you're ready for something more," she smiled as she gave him her number, and walked back to her friends.
"I'll do that," he muttered and walked back to the guys. "So..." Pete inquired. "She says she's not a rebound girl and to call her when I'm ready for more," he said smiling. That girl was something else. "She sounds like she will be worth getting to know," Sam said thankful that his friend might have met the one for him.
