Chapter 1: The Move
After this latest heartbreak, Bella was moving away from home. Her first love, Edward left because his family was moving and they didn't want to try the long-distance relationship thing. When she moved on from him, she fell in love with her best friend, and he died after cliff diving with some friends. The crazy boys went during a storm. She couldn't keep falling in love with the wrong guys, and just recently, she experienced the most painful heartbreak she could endure. Charlie, Renee, and Phil, her parents died in an airplane crash going home after her college graduation.
She had inherited more money than she knew what to do with. Bella didn't know what to do, but she knew she would never live in her parent's homes, so she sold everything she did not want to keep and made plans to move to Hawaii. She had purchased a home she had fallen in love with it immediately when she bought it from a rich couple who wanted to move into something smaller as they were getting on in years and their children had moved away years before and didn't want to keep the house.
It was 800 acres of nature's finest. The house was amazing and Bella knew she would not live in any other house. The property itself cost well over $500,000 Mil but that wasn't a problem for an heiress. The property was 60,280 square feet, it was big and beautiful and it was perfect.
The house had seven full ensuites, with three smaller bedrooms, three guest bathrooms, a library, a home entertainment room, a billiards room, six offices, a weapons room, a safe room that could fit up to ten people comfortably, an underground garage, a family room, a huge kitchen that was every chef's dream, a basement home gym, with an inground swimming pool, a complete patio with an outdoor kitchen and grill, and last but not least, a hot tub, swimming pool, and a big yard for those with children. It was an amazing house.
After she had purchased the house, she looked up what the security system was and she was very disappointed. It was basic, well that wasn't going to work. Bella decided to get the best security there was and it was now running all over the property and perimeter wall. On the highest setting, which it would remain at, nothing could get within a hundred feet of the wall without the alarm sounding. The house can be locked down tighter than Fort Knox. The security also had heat and facial recognition identification so Bella would know who was at the gate before she pressed the intercom button or looked at the video camera.
The perimeter of the house was soundproof. If any of the outside doors or windows are open, that rule doesn't apply. When they're closed, anything said inside of the house can't be heard outside, the alarm wouldn't be heard if the doors and windows are closed. The windows were unbreakable, so if ever the house is being shot at, nothing would happen. The house can be locked down to where the windows and doors are covered by thick sheets of titanium. One button is all that it will take for any tv in the house to let her know where and what made the alarm go off. Now, with the safe room, there were two entrances. When they have locked them from the inside, the titanium plates came down to lock down the windows and doors on the inside, they were all made from triple-thick shatterproof glass, as well as how the security panel in the safe room made all of the others useless when someone was locked up tight in there.
The house was a fortress, and Bella loved it. She knew her father would have been proud of her for taking her security seriously. He had made a lot of enemies during his time during the war as a marine, then later as the Chief of Police. It was the reason why he taught her everything she needed to know about how to shoot any type of firearm and martial arts. Bella was a certified weapon.
Bella took one last look out towards Seattle, taking a deep breath, before facing her new future. It was time to live her life. She was going to live it for both herself and her parents. Nothing would be taken for granted any longer because life doesn't always go the way you planned. It's full of surprises, twists, and turns. As she focused on the new direction her life was taking, Bella felt another change coming toward her. She only hoped it would be a good change after everything she had endured these last few years.
