It was the weekend of Aurora's birthday. Baby Vega as Jade loved to call her was turning 3 years old.
After the last visit at her doctor Jade noticed how Rory started to say small words here and there. It was mostly when she was alone playing on her playpen. The goth could hear her say words like car, doggy and baba (formula) and the most surprising word of all was her word 'mama' when she and Tori.was in the kitchen and she was in her playpen and couldn't see neither her Mami or Jade.
Callie and Arizona came to visit them often now that David told them that they usually leave the house for some seminars that the police was having and he wanted them to check on the girls while they were gone.
At times the two doctors would sleep over when they were gone. Sofia was happy to see more of her cousins and baby Vega. The little girl even loved it when Jade sang to her and often agreed to play with her if the goth was not busy.
Jade was roaming around the mall trying to find the perfect gift for her daughter as she started to call Rory. She loved rbe fact that she had a specific and special roll in the little girls life and that her girlfriend and family allowed her to be a part of.
"Jade" the goth turned to see her best friends in the mall.
"Hey guys" she happily said as they all hugged each other.
"so I'm guessing your buying baby Vega new stiff?" She asked them and they all nodded.
"Yeah but we quickly realized that she does not need new toys but more cloths because she outgrowing the ones she already have" Beck said.
"Good call.. I was thinking the same. I was thinking of getting her a new set of bed..you know the one that have the safety gate around it and it's removable" Jade said and the boys knew that she ment.
The three agreed to go buy stuff at the baby store. Jade finally found the bed and even a matching dresser and small table with four chairs.
Beck paid for the dresser, Andre for the table and Jade for the bed. Jade continued to get her some new cloths , she even got her two leather jacket that matched hers and Tori's.
On the way out they noticed Trina and Cat holding hands while they seem to argue with a girl their age. As they got closer they could hear what they were talking about.
"That bitch of a sister of your won't even let me see my own niece. I have the right to see her" the girl said.
"NO YOU DON'T, NOT AFTER WHAT YOUR BROTHER AND HIS FRIENDS DID. WHAT YOUR FAMILY DID. YOU WILL NEVER SEE HER OR MY NIECE" they all heard the older Vega yell at the girl. Cat was worried and held Trina's arm.
"Trina, what's going on" Beck askednand they all turned their heads towards us.
"nothing.. this bitch is leaving" she said with gritted teeth.
"I am not leaving until you tell me where my niece is. It's not my fault your sister is a whore who opened her legs to anyone who want it" the girl said.
Jade realized that the girl was Aurora's aunt but as far as she knew that part of her family was not allowed to see her.
Jade snapped and and hit the girl in her face as soon as she heard her bad mouth her girlfriend.
Everyone was shocke at first but Cat tried to get the goth off the girl .
"Ever come near Tori or her kid i will make sure you will regret the day your brother ever met her. I will hunt you down and kill you and him, do I make myself clear?" the goth said pulling her sisccors up the girls throat.
The girl's eyes widen and quickly nodded her head.
"Ye..yes.. u..under..understand" she said getting up and ran as fast as she could.
No one had never seen anyone Jade so mad. Sure she was a gank most of the time but she was always calm but never like this.
She was shaking and her face red of anger. Her breathing was hard and uncontrollable.
Beck tried to talk to her but to no avail. She was well into her head. No one could get her out of her own mind until she heard her lovers soft voice.
"Jade baby can you hear me?" Jade pulled out from her own thoughts and saw the beautiful brown eyes that she loved so much.
"Tori" she whispered and the half latina smiled at her. The brunette kissed her soft lips and she pulled her closer. She needed to feel her, hold her and smell her scent.
Trina and Cat told them what happened before the three of them saw the fight and how Jade smacked the shit out of the other girl and then completely just zoned out which didin't give them much choice to call Tori cause they didin't know what to do.
They noticed how Tori's face became more pale then Jade's.
"Tori it's gonna be fine. We gonna talk to mom and dad and make sure that they won't find out where she is. No one us gonna take Aurora away from us" Trina said and held her sister in her arms who slowly started to cry out of fear.
The others didin't like this. Seeing Tori cared and broken Jade made a promise to herself that she would do whatever it took to keep her family safe.
She looked at Andre and Beck and theh both knew what she was thinking. They knew the length she would go to keep her family safe even if it ment that she could get in trouble and to be honest they would to the same for them.
Robbie, Tori, Trina, Jade, Beck, Andre, Cat and even Rex. They were a family that they themselves had built and let into their respective lives.
When they got home Trina told her parents who they bumped into and that Jade actually punched the girl and made her run away. David was angry and so was Holly. The gang had never seen the Vega parents that angry at anyone and they noticed how worried they all were about Tori.
"I will talk to my office and see if there has been a breach and make sure that they still follow the court order" Holly said.
"I'm gonna call Gary and see if Daniel is still in the same prison and if he have been in contact with someone. He is supposed to be isolated" David said as they went to make their calls.
"Hey Toro.. so you know.. we wont let anything or anyone harm you or Rory" Andre said.
Tori just nodded and held Rory in her arms and Jade pulled them closer to her. The goth was whispering sweet beautiful loving words in her ear making the half latina calmed.
During the past few days Jade had spoken to Sinjin about looking up the girl Patricia Lorenzo and Danny Lorenzo up. She wanted every dirty thing she could find on them. Every information of where they are, who they hang out with and any other details they could find.
Sinjin was a bit skeptical at first but then she told him about Tori and what they had been hiding from everyone in school and who the guy was. He eventually agreed to help Jade and her friends.
He liked Tori. He considered her a friend. She never made fun of him or his friends. She always helped him when he needed it and even if Tori was known as the popstar and popular girl of HA she was never rude to anyone.
"So this guy is bad news?" Sinjin asked her and Jade nodded.
"Yeah.. he is and he did hurt her. I just want to protect my family" she confessed and the nerd smiled at her.
"Don't worry Jade, I can keep an eye ib him and his family. Make sure that they keep themselves far away from her" he assured her and the goth smiled.
"Thanks Sinjin… I know I can be a gank at times and be a bitch but I'm just like rhat when I feel I need to protect and look out for the others. They are my family and so is Tori and her kid. They are my everything" she said.
The boy turned to look at the goth who people was scared of but he soon realized that everything she does it has its reasons.
"your a good friend Jade and I'm lucky to have you as a friend as well" he caususly said and Jade just chuckled.
"Your a great friend Sinjin, I'm sorry over how I treat you sometimes but I never ment it.." she started but the boy stopped her.
"I get it.. I'm weird at times and even u can agree that I can be very creepy. I just get to involve in things I find interesting" he said.
"Anyways.. I let you know what I finand call you in a few hours or a day or two" he said and the two bid goodbye.
As soon as Jade got in the car Beck drove off and she told him that Sinjin would help and contact her when he got something.
"I called my cousin in Canada. You remember the solder?" he asked and Jade smiled.
"Moose, how is the big guy?" She asked.
"He is doing fine. He is coming here on Friday. I told him about what was happening and he wants to help keep Tori and Rory safe" he said with a smile.
Jade knew why Moose would come and help them. The two boys was practically glued to their hips until Beck moved to LA. They were like brothers and would always be there for each other and the big guy always saw Becks friends as a part of his family since they were the one who took care of him when he couldn't be there for him.
"it be nice to see him again and thank you for calling him" she said with a smile.
"We're family Jade, no one messes with our family" he said in a more serious tone.
The rest of the ride was quiet.
When they got to the Vegas they noticed how David had a worried look on his face. This got them to feel bad for some reason.
"Hey pops you okey? You seem worried Jade asked him and the detective turned to see his adoptiv kid.
"Get in the car and drive to our place" he said to Jade and she knew that it was something important.
Jade and Beck took his car while David took his. When they got there Mr Vasquez was there and gave them their usual order. They sat at their usual table and waited for the food to come.
"so what's the problem?" Jade asked and David looked at the two teenagers.
"Somehow Danny manage to get in contact with his family, they ordered a hit on Tori and get Rory" he said seriously and both Jade and Beck was in shock. Before neither of them could say something Jade's phone rang and she noticed it was Sinjin.
"Hey what fo you have for me?" She asked and she nodded and gave small talks.
"Okey look.. get them to me now and meet me at this adress" she said and hanged up.
Both David and Beck wondered who it was.
"You will see soon" she said.
Half hour later Sinjin entered the door and both Beck and David was suprised to see him.
"Hey you got information" she said and he nodded.
He greeted David and Beck and pulled up a folder with everything he could find.
"So when you came to see me I started to digg information about him and his family. I tapped into Vermont County Jail their internet protection sucks by the way" he said and showed them what he had found.
It was Danny's telefon calls that he made after midnight when everyone else was asleep or so they should but David knew that he shouldn't even be able to make calls since he was in isolation.
"how is this possible. He is supposed to be isolated" he said angry.
"it seems like it's the same guard that is on duty when he makes calls" Jade says as she looks at the phone loggs. She highlighted them and showed it to David.
"See Alex Rodriguez is the night guard those nights he calls and I bet that the jail is not that big either so their are Mac 3 guards at night" she said.
The four of them continued to look at the information that Sinjin found for some hours until Jade's phone went on again and she saw Tori call asking where she was since it was pass 5 and she should have been home right now.
"Sinjin, you got copies of this?" David asked and the boy nodded.
"I always make copies just in case. I will help you with whatever you need Mr. Vega, I will contact you when I find something more solid. I have servailance on Danny, his family and his friends and who he have had contact with for the past years" he said and David was suprised.
"I will pretend I never heard that but thank you and you are welcome to come by at home. I need to double check all this and then let Tori in for what is happening but I want to wait after Rory's birthday" he said and they all agreed but he noticed Jade was worried.
"if you want to tell her Jade you can I just want to be sure that all this he found it real deal" David said.
That night when Jade and Tori was in bed the half latina noticed how quiet her girlfriend was.
"Baby what is it?" She quietly asked her and the goth sat up on the bed holding her girls hand.
"I love you and I would never lie or keep secret to you" she said and Tori had a worried look.
That night Jade told everything about what they found out. Sinjin was keeping an eye on Danny and his family. David was double checking all the information.
"I promise you baby I won't let anyone hurt you or her. You are my family and if someone is threatening my family I will not let anyone get away with it" she said kissing Tori's lips.
"I know Jade.. I have always felt safe with you and I trust you" she said and held on to her.
