Welcome to chapter 3 everyone. I changed the friendship genre to humor because I realized the story will be more humorous than I intended. I forgot to mention that since there is no official name to the Monster Hunter world itself as a whole, I decided to call it Wyvernia.
The Velociprey lunged at Zeric, gnawing on his arm. He manages to get it to let go and throw it back.
"BALAN! Get everyone to safety! I'll handle this." Zeric shouts as he gets his greatsword Magnastar Emdon out. Fluffy comes to his side and prepares to fight. Several more Velociprey come through the door. Everyone got onto the balconies to stay up high from the attackers.
"Balan, Lance. What were those things?!" Cal couldn't help but yell with being riled up.
"Things that shouldn't be here. But not to worry, our friend will deal with-" Balan's answer was cut off as Zeric was tossed into the main theatre with Fluffy following suit. Six Velociprey come charging at him. He swings his sword, but they avoid it with ease. Fluffy jumps on one and starts riding it like a bull rider.
"MEEOOOW! This is how a Palico does things!" Fluffy shouts as it looks like he's having too much fun.
"Well now let's see how you deal with this!" Zeric launches a clutch claw at one of them, sending him directly at it and slams his sword on it. He gets pounced on the back by another, but he delivers a strong punch to its face. One charges at him, but he grabs it by the neck, lifts it, and tosses it onto the stage.
"Wow. He's really strong." Attilio said being impressed by Zeric's strength.
"He has grown since we last saw him." Lance spoke being impressed as well.
"Indeed Lance. Indeed."
"Okay. What was that saying? Less than four, the hunt is poor. More than five…." A loud roar was then heard.
"The pack is alive." Zeric finishes as he looks in the direction of the roar. Out of the hallway came the Velocidrome. Everyone could see it was larger. Several more Velociprey follow behind it, making the situation worse.
"Just as the Guild suspected. It was a Velocidrome causing trouble. Now to deal with you." Zeric charges at the Velocidrome while it does the same. He swings and lands a hit. It starts swinging its claws, scratching at his armor. It starts to bite at his arm, causing a little pain. Zeric does a Kangaroo Kick to forcibly shove it away. A couple of Velociprey charge at him on both sides.
"Time for a swing and a hit." He does a complete 360 with his greatsword and sends both flying into the walls. After that the Velocidrome pins him on the ground.
"Fluffy! I need some assistance!"
"A bit busy Meowster! I've got Meownsters on my tail!" Fluffy shouted as he was being chased by three Velociprey. The Velocidrome was about to bite down on him until it got hit by a thrown object.
"Hey ya big freak! Leave him alone!" Leo shouted as he and everyone else were throwing all sorts of things at the Velocidrome. It was about to jump at them, but midway Zeric grabbed it by the tail and interrupted the jump.
"Oh no you don't you filthy beast!" It swings its tail, sending Zeric straight into the stage. Zeric gets up from the rubble and coughs painfully.
"Okay. I've had enough of you. Time to end this hunt now." He uses his clutch claw to grab onto a support beam. He pulls himself up and starts to swing himself towards the Velocidrome at full speed with his sword drawn. The claw lets go, and with a powerful slam both fighters land into the wall, leaving a large plume of dust. Everyone and the Velociprey could only watch as the dust died down. Zeric stood, with his sword lodged into the body of the Velocidrome. Seeing that their leader has been slain, all the remaining Velociprey run back to the door to their world. Everyone started to cheer that the threat is gone.
"Wonderful work Zeric! You saved the theatre!" Balan cheered.
"Uh, I wouldn't be so sure about that." Lance points out looking at a damaged stage, busted walls, and monster bodies littered here and there. Some of the older inhabitants covered the eyes of the younger ones because of the sight.
"Uh, oops. Sorry about that. Guess I was caught up in the moment." Zeric was really embarrassed.
"No need to worry. It can be fixed right up." Balan makes his clones who rush to get cleaning supplies.
"Well, with that being taken care of I'll haul these off to my world and out of your hair." Zeric goes and drags the Velocidrome's body to the door. After a while the theatre was restored.
"Thank you Zeric for helping Cass. Thank you for getting rid of those monsters as well." Balan said as Zeric was preparing to leave.
"That was so awesome. Do you think you could visit more?" Leo asked gleefully.
"I'll have to see, but you are all welcome to visit my world too you know. And Cass."
"Hm?"
"I better not catch you walking in the forest alone again." Zeric said in a teasing manner.
"Better don't. I wouldn't know what to do without you petting me." Fluffy adds in. Everyone was confused. Fluffy liked being petted?
"Say, when's the next time you have school?"
"Tomorrow. Why?"
"I think I may visit."
"So Cass, did you ditch the cat?" The same few bullies were messing with her again. Only this time she wasn't going to run away.
"Nope. I still have her and won't any time soon." She said in a fearless tone.
"I say you should. Wouldn't want any-"
"I suggest you kids watch what you say next." The bullies turn to see Zeric standing behind them. If there was one thing they saw on his face it was rage. They immediately flee the scene.
"So, now that's taken care of, why don't we both head back to the Theatre? Everyone is waiting for the tour of my world." His attitude immediately changing to a happy one.
"Okay!"
Now the adventures really begin! Both worlds now will have moments of fluff, danger, heart to heart moments, and pure utter chaos in a hilarious way. Until next chapter, see ya.
