Who would win in a fight against the golden mantis Ahtal-Ka?

Four highly skilled warriors trained to fight cataclysm causing monsters….

If you've seen the meme format, then you know who's gonna win.

Yuri was heading for the door to Wyvernia. She wanted to see what the bug monsters were like.

The Inhabitants and several costumes were given a tour of the town Zeric lived. He showed them everything a hunter does and what others do to help them. They were then given a chance to free roam the place. She went to a small library the town had. In it she found books and sketches of what looked like bug monsters, which they called Neopterons. One looked like a giant fly with a spear-like horn over its head. Another looked like ants but had different colored abdomens. Finally, there was one that looked like a giant golden mantis.

Having a likeness to bugs she went to Wyvernia to see them for herself. As she got to the door, she found a basket with small remotes. Next to the basket was a note that said:

"Please take one if you are going there. They will help you get back in a jiffy or make a quick getaway if you're being chased. Balan"

She takes one and enters the door. She finds herself in a desert area near some ruins. As she goes to investigate, she hears a loud crash. She sees four hunters all in one pile.

"I told you it was gonna girder slam us in a row Christopher."

"Hmmph hmhmhm mmhp hmmmphm."

"Christopher, we told you we can't understand you when the muffler is up." A young woman in green armor says as she's getting up.

"I AM SOOOO ANGRY!" A young man in tan armor with giant spikes yells.

"Since when are you never angry?" The woman in green asks.

"Whenever he's around kids. Everyone knows he has a soft spot for children." Christopher answers, who sported green armor that looked like it was built for heavy artillery.

"Doesn't matter right now. That blasted mantis isn't going to move by itself." An older man with armor that looked like it was covered in spikes.

"Did you say mantis?" The four hunters turn to see Yuri.

"Say, what's a kid like you doing out here?" The older hunter asks.

"I wanted to see the bug monsters. I'm Yuri by the way.

"Christopher. Artillery and explosives specialist."

"Fred. The heavy hitter." The tan armored one said.

"Alicia. The lady of the group." The young woman answered.

"I am Terron. The leader of this group: The Chaos Crew." The older one finishes.

"I see. Nice to meet you."

"Say, didn't you come to the village with Zeric?" Terron asks.

"I don't remember seeing you."

"Well, we were just returning after you left. Zeric spoke of all of you to us." Fred says.

"Well now that greetings are done, we've got a mantis to deal with." Christopher states as he graps his heavy bowgun Reversal Barrage and heads for the other side of the ruins.

"To answer your previous question, yes. A giant mantis known as Ahtal-Ka has been stirring up trouble for a travel route between villages." Alicia answers as she runs with her sword and shield Queen Rapier.

"Can I see it?" Yuri asks with sparkles in her eyes.

"Unfortunately, no." Fred says with a hint of regret. His main weapon is his greatsword Vendetta Hornsword.

"True. You wouldn't be able to stand against it." Terron says affirming the truth. His main weapon is his gunlance Zvolta Demolisher. As the hunters left Yuri slowly followed behind. She then got a good view of Ahtal-Ka. The very thing that made it stand out was its golden hue.

"Rush around the back and hit the abdomen!" Terron orders Alicia. Christopher was firing a barrage of bullets to the body and face. Ahtal-Ka fires several strands of silk strings at them. Fred runs and slams his greatsword on her leg.

Ahtal-Ka then swings its scythe claw at him, but he avoids it. Alicia starts to swing like crazy behind it, causing it to get angry. She fires a strand of silk at a girder and swings it around. This time everyone didn't get hit.

"Ha! Not this time Ahtal-Ka!" Terron shouts in a taunting voice. Getting furious, she pulls out her secret weapon.

"Get ready! The Ahtal-Neset is coming up!" Terron yells. Yuri was curious on what he meant by that, but that question was answered when a giant hunk of scrap and metal that looked like a sauropod rose out of the ground. The Ahtal-Ka then enters it and starts to move it around. Yuri was absolutely stunned with amazement and fear that a bug was able to build something this large and complex. It starts to stomp around and slam its head on the ground. Alicia and Christopher climb up on the side and start to attack the cocoon it hid itself in. After several attacks on the cocoon the Ahtal-Neset falls apart. Ahtal-Ka then arms herself with the wheel it had on its contraption. With one mighty swing the wheel knocks all the hunters into the wall.

"I am getting major déjà vu with this." Fred says trying to be funny.

"Ya don't say!" Alicia shouts sarcastically. With another slam, all four hunters get flown through the walls. Ahtal-Ka then calms down, putting down the wheel. Yuri wasn't sure what to do, but she wanted to do something. It was clear that this monster was certainly trouble, but she couldn't bring it upon herself to hurt a bug. So she puts on a brave face and faces the monster.

"Uh sir? We may have a problem." Christopher says as he saw what Yuri was attempting to do.

"Kid! Get out of there! Don't pull a Mark and Phil!" Terron dashes in to get her out.

Ahtal-Ka lowers her head to get a closer look at Yuri. As much as she wanted to, she didn't want to hurt Yuri. The golden mantis then started to nuzzle Yuri's head. The hunters were gobsmacked by the very sight they were seeing.

"Excuse me? Could you probably find a new home? This one is important to the people here." Yuri sees Ahtal-Ka nod her head and leave. She turns to see the hunters standing there in utter amazement.

"I guess I'll be going. It was nice meeting you." Yuri turns around to leave the ruins, leaving the hunters standing there. It was quiet for a few minutes until Terron spoke.

"Did? Did a kid just best us at our job?"

"I believe so sir." Christopher answers with the same amount of confusion as him.

"If she weren't from another world, she would have definitely made a fine Monster Rider." Terron thought to himself.

Seems like Yuri just did their job for them. I already have several chapters in plan, but I need some more ideas for the story. Let me know what I should try.
