Now this chapter will give you laughs. The idea is based off of The Trouble With Jiggles episode from Penguins of Madagascar.
On a large platform in Wyvernia, the inhabitants and hunters were gathered for an unfortunate reason. What was that reason?
"This is really boring. When will everything go back to normal?" Susan complained as she didn't like the predicament they were in.
"When the flood waters recede. That's all we can do." Balan pointed out.
"Yeah. Don't you remember what happened at the Elder's Recess?" Fred stated as everyone flashbacked to the incident in question.
Flashback
"SOMEBODY HELP!" Balan shouted in fear. He and everyone else were helping the hunters clean up the Elder's Recess after a huge battle happened. It wasn't pretty, and it left a lot of destruction and bioenergy crystals everywhere. There was a box of said crystals filled to the top, and a few Tims were playing in it. Balan wouldn't have minded them playing if it weren't the fact that one of them ate a crystal, mistaking it for a drop.
"How do we even deal with this?! This has never happened before!" Balan was everywhere, and no one could calm him down. The Tim that ate it was showing signs of nausea.
"Balan. We should just try and clam down. Panicking isn't going to solve this." Lance stated as he was trying to soothe the said Tim."
"Oh yeah. The Tim ate a piece of bioenergy crystal and then it all went downhill from there." Susan remembered.
"I still remembered how you all went into a panic after that, and the unfortunate consequence afterwards." Eis said as all the inhabitants remembered never seeing such looks of fear before.
Flashback
"What's going on?" Zeric asked as he rushed to see what was wrong.
"A Tim ate one of those weird crystal things that are everywhere." Leo pointed out as he looked everywhere around him. The Elder's Recess was filled to the brim with them.
"Wait. Did you just say that a Tim ate a crystal?" Zeric asked with a hint of fear.
"It wasn't a drop mind you. It was indeed one of the crystals here." Balan assured. Zeric then went into panic mode.
"ALL HUNTERS! ALL HUNTERS! CODE TIM! I REPEAT: CODE TIM!" Everyone could hear all the other hunters and Palicos screaming and running like maniacs.
"Code Tim? Should we be concerned about this?" Balan may have heard many things in his life, but never anything like this.
"You most certainly should if you want to avoid the worst catastrophe to exist!" Terron yelled as he came running. He immediately grabbed the Tim and gently placed it on a nearby rock.
"What could be so concerning about a Tim? Yes we should be if it ate something it shouldn't, but you all seem to see it as if it's the end of the world." Bruce said as he too was concerned about this.
"All you need to know is that we ABSOLUTLY CANNOT let anything hurt it. If that happens, then we may all be doomed." Terron was getting serious with them, and they didn't like it.
"How could a Tim be our doom? They're too cute to do anything like that." Cass said as she tried to calm Fluffy down.
"Well here's how it is. If any kind of violent impact hits this Tim, it will im-" Terron jumped out of fear as a loose rock feel on the Tim. The rock was moved, but it revealed a flattened Tim. Balan then started to cry.
"NOOOOO! It was just a baby! WHHYYYYYY?!"
"Well I guess the world is doomed now." Terron said as he started to write out his will.
"How can that be possible? The Tim is-" Lance was cut off as they saw the Tim pop back up as if it wasn't hurt. Unfortunately, there were now two Tims in place. Balan stopped crying as he tried to wrap his brain around the sight he was seeing.
"I? Eh? But? What? How?" Balan was just a big, confused mess.
"This is what I was trying to say from before. Anything that hits the Tim will cause it to turn into more, and that's where the Code Tim comes into play. We MUST, by any circumstance, keep these Tims from getting hurt. Otherwise, the worst will happen."
"Well now that you put it that way, that sounds like trouble." Leo was startled on how a Tim could cause a lot of problems. They may have helped him, but never caused any trouble.
"I still don't get how that stuff caused all this to happen, and how in the world did you all prepare for this very situation?" Jose said as he was playing a game with Luke and Cal.
"A few years ago, a Tim did the very same thing. It happened again a year later, which prompted us to making the Code Tim Protocol." Christopher answered as he was sky gazing.
"That explains everything after the panic." Sana remembered what happened after that.
Flashback
As Terron was explaining the completely overkill steps that were needed to be taken, the Tims began to wander off.
"It will be a while, but the Tim will eventually go back to being one. If it ends up multiplying more than we can handle, then that's where it starts becoming a disaster." Terron finished.
"That will be splendid, but there's one problem: Where are the Tims?" Balan pointed to the empty rock the Tims used to be on.
"All hunters! Tim searching protocols! Tims on the loose!" Terron shouted as the hunters scrambled in all directions with the inhabitants following behind them. They found where the Tims had went, but when they found them, the Tims got hit by lava.
"NOOOOOOOOOO! Who would do such a thing?!" Balan shouted, thinking they were incinerated. He looked around and found a nearby Lavasioth swimming in the lava.
"So is that how it's going to be? One will have the last laugh, just wait and see." Balan dashes off to who knows where. Amilia gets a closer look and finds that there are many tracks heading down the cavern.
"Well they're still alive, but now they have multiplied even more." Balan comes back but is somehow holding a full sized Dragonrazer in his hands.
"Prepare for justice beast!" Balan fires it but hits the ceiling. The stalactites from the next cavern fell, and they could hear the sounds of Tims. A lot of Tims.
"Well done Balan. You just made everything worse." Terron slowly clapped while Balan made an embarrassed face.
"Uh, oops."
"I will admit I made things worse." Balan admitted he wasn't thinking straight.
"The best part was that it wasn't you. There was also the meownsters." Fluffy reassured the maestro as they knew what came afterwards.
Everyone scattered everywhere to gather the Tims but failed miserably. It wasn't any help when the nearby monsters were attacking them as well. A Glavenus was slamming its sword like tail on the Tims, only causing it to make more. A Uragaan kept on stomping on them but fled when it couldn't handle the amount of them. Several other monsters immediately fled the place as they saw their home being overtaken by the Tims.
"At this rate we'll never gather them all. Even with all these blasted monsters getting in the way!" Fred shouted as the frustration was rising in everyone.
"Well how do we even get them all in one place and make them stay?" Emma asked as she slipped and dropped the Tims she was holding.
"Perhaps we could have them follow us to the arena. There should be enough room there." Alicia suggested as she was carrying a box full of Tims.
"But we would have to travel through the Coral Highlands, which is over the Rotten Vale. Then we would have to go straight through the chasm nearby that place." Zeric knew going the long way to contain them would only cause more Tims to be made. He had another idea that would work.
"How about we find a big enough hole and put them all in there?"
"Excellent idea. You guys keep them busy; I'll find the perfect place for them." Christopher said he dashed off to find the perfect hole.
"That was a good idea, although there was the one loophole you didn't fill Zeric." Lance said as everyone looked at Christopher with angry looks.
"It was the only one I could find at the time."
"Only one? That hole is what led us into this situation we're in now." Iben reminded him as they knew what came next.
Everyone was on the highest point in the Elder's Recess. The number of Tims reached into the hundreds of thousands somehow, and it was no use trying to contain them.
"Welp. Now it's reached to the point of no return." Susan said as she was ready to accept her fate.
"You did say they'll all return as one, right? When will that happen?" Leo asked as he was trying to get it together.
"Now that is an excellent question. I don't know how long that will be since it happened only two times." Terron answered.
"Everyone! I found the perfect hole! I just need some bait!" Christopher was on the other side of the Tim group and couldn't make it.
"Just grab one and the rest will follow!" Lance shouted back. Christopher grabs one and starts running. The Tim horde follows close behind and heads straight for the pit. Christopher stands on the other side while he watches them fall in and fill it up. After a few minutes the Tim horde finished filling up the hole.
"TA-DAAA! Crisis averted."
"Well. I may have doubted you for a second, but this should suffice." Zeric said as he gazed into the hole.
"Now all we have to do is wait for the Tims to become one again, and we'll be home fre-" Terron didn't finish when the hole erupted, and the Tims were all gone.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Was all that could be heard from across the land.
"Christopher. Did you forget to consider that hole being a volcano?" Zeric's voice becoming aggressive knowing how attached Balan is to Tims.
"Umm, well technically, no. We had a situation on our hands, and I chose the closest hole I could find." Christopher answered while trying to realize the truth.
"Poor little TIms. You may have been all been the same one, but still you all deserved better." Balan sadly said.
"It's okay pal. They'll always be remembered." Luke said trying to comfort the saddened maestro. As he was doing so he felt a Tim land and hit him on the head.
"Well then there's the fact that they're all FALLING OUT OF THE SKY!" Everyone looked up and saw that there was billions of Tims raining from the sky. They all immediately ran for cover and were just shocked at how the Tims survived. They were still happy though that the Tims survived.
"Thanks to Christopher, the world is now officially doomed." Terron said in an angry tone.
"Thanks a lot Christopher!" Everyone shouted in unison.
"And that is why you're the real one to blame for this whole mess." Alicia angerly said as she pointed to everything the platform was on. The entire land was covered with Tims, and the platform was the only piece of land not covered by them.
"Well they should be returning to one soon. So lets just enjoy the peace while we still have it." Christopher said as he continued sky gazing.
"I hope so. I can't even catch a fish in this sea of Tims." Leo said as he was holding a fishing rod with a Tim on the end of the line.
"Aw man. Just another Tim."
"You're just not fishing with the right bait." Terron said as he too was fishing. His line caught something.
"Ha! Got one!" He was immediately got pulled in by a Lagiacrus that somehow learned to swim in them.
"This whole thing feels just like what happened to Mark and Phil. They were ordered to hug a Dodogama." Fred said as he recollected what happened to them. A good majority of hunters would say Dodogamas are the cutest monsters out there.
"They instead got trampled by a whole group of them. A fate every hunter everywhere would have." Amilia said as the latter part was a true fact.
"I think you should just tell us what truly happened to them. There are so many ways we've been told about their fate, and I think we should know." Fiona said as she was growing a bit tired of the supposed fate of Mark and Phil.
"Like we would ever tell. Every hunter has taken an oath to never tell what really happened." Susan said smugly. Fiona facepalmed as an oath was an unbreakable thing. It was only a few minutes of silence until Fred started to lose it.
"HOW MUCH LONGER IS THIS GOING TO TAKE?! DAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Fred bolted straight into the Tim flood and was acting like a madman.
"Should we be concerned about his behavior? We've never seen him act like this." Lucy asked.
"Give him a bit. He'll come to eventually." Alicia said as everyone watched him trying to swim in the flood, acting like a maniac.
"Tims everywhere! Tims everywhere! There's no end to them! Am I a Tim?! Maybe I've been one my whole life and never knew! Hahahahahahahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He sounded like a complete maniac. After his little episode all the Tims eventually returned as one. The Tim happily chirped, as if nothing ever happened to begin with.
"THANK YOU! I was not going to be able to handle being stranded on that platform for any longer. We're home free!" Fred celebrated as he ran around in happiness.
"Well now that I know of all this, I will keep a closer eye on the Tims. It would have been a nightmare if this happened in Wonderworld." Balan said as he picked up the Tim.
"You now know what to do if they eat one of those crystals. Please Balan, for all that is good and pure in this world, keep an eye on the Tims." Fred said as he fell down exhausted.
Back in the theatre Lance was looking at the Negati. After the whole Tim fiasco, he wondered if the same crystals had a bizarre effect on them. He of course wouldn't dare try to put the Negati in harms way, so he put it in the back of his head and never wanted to think of it again. One Tim though secretly stashed a crystal and showed it to the Negati. One of them at it and then...
Later
"LANCE! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Was all that was heard when a huge pile of Negati was found by Balan.
And there's the end of this chapter. Sorry it took longer than I wanted it to. I had to rewrite the whole thing when it wasn't coming out the way I wanted it to. With it out of the way I can finally work on the next chapter. Till then, see ya!
