If Juvia had told them once she had inevitably said it a thousand times (and it would do no good to repeat it again–she had to set an example).
The kitchen was a mess after all; flour and dough and sticky strands hanging from every available surface of the room, complete with the conspirator and co-conspirators sheepishly eyeing her in the doorway. They were all thoroughly dusted, the smallest one patting out his light blue hair while the pink-haired girl picked dough off her clothes.
The man in the middle grinned in apology, "Juvia, haha, what are you doing back now?"
Juvia only smiled, a smile that sent a shiver down Natsu's spine. "Only checking to make sure the house is still standing while Juvia went shopping. Now…" two water orbs appeared in her hands and she advanced on them, still smiling, "unless you want a full bath right here you'll help me clean up."
"Oh, ah, alright Juv-" One of the orbs sent a burst towards Natsu, dousing him in the face. Juvia giggles, not entirely humorlessly.
"Oh no, Natsu. You're going to go sit in the corner while we clean. And maybe make whatever you were trying to make properly." The children giggled at their father's dripping, disappointed face as he shuffled his way outside to clean. Juvia couldn't help but join in as she gently washed their faces before getting to work on the dough covered kitchen. Maybe she'd save one if he redeemed himself later on. Maybe.
