New Chapter and a quick note. Yes it's a female OC but as of right now I don't really intend it to be romantic? I realize that can be off-putting to some. More a story of an old con partnership potentially getting back together to break down heaven and hell...not a couple hahaha I realize where the confusion came from. You'll have to forgive me, its my first time writing one of these.

Alastor hummed as he approached the hotel, twirling his cane, teeth bared in an unwavering smile. He quite enjoyed the way most demons parted like the red sea for him on his walks but he admittedly did look forward to his time spent in the hotel. Charlie was quite entertaining to converse with and even Vaggie's disdain and Angel's unwanted vulgarities were an attention he had missed. The problem with being the most feared overlord of Hell was that it could get lonely at times. Of course there was Rosie and the girls but variety though, that was a pleasant change.

"A moment friend?"

Alastor paused his approach up the steps. He looked around but could see no one.

"Down here my good fellow."

Alastor did not lose his smile, in fact his teeth seemed to bare harder as the realization came to him. With hooded lids he turned his attention downward to the white snake at his feet.

"Lucifer...to what do I owe the pleasure?"

The snake coiled and raised to meet him, tongue flicking. Snakes aren't ones to smirk, but somehow this one did.

"Just a friendly warning," the snake hissed. "You have a new guest...One of a more...angelic nature."

Alastor leaned down closer, his head tilting with a sickening crack. "I'm assuming you aren't referring to our dear Angel Dust-"

"A REAL Angel."

There was a moment of silence between deer demon and snake before Alastor began to roar with laughter, straightening up and adjusting his jacket. "The boys upstairs sent us a little rat I see." He gave the devil a devilish grin of his own. "Why this just keeps getting better, doesn't it old friend?"

The snake said nothing, just flicked it's tongue in quiet amusement. Alastor's smile got a bit tighter. It was enamoring news, but why would the King of Hell come to see him for it? There must be a game a foot. He waited expectantly but the snake just stared.

"Well, care to come inside?" Alastor offered, his voice dripping with suspicion.

The snake finally replied, "No. No, I think I'll leave Charlotte to her own. No child delights in an unexpected parental visit."

Alastor smirked. He knew full well Charlie would love a visit from her father, but tedious family issues did not amuse him. Whatever game the devil was playing, now that was amusing. His head turned over possibilities. Why would Lucifer come to see him personally? Something very interesting was happening, and it was positively delightful. He was excited to play one of the Devil's games. A worthwhile opponent at last.

"Do you know how they achieve peace for the angels?" Lucifer continued, breaking him from his reverie.

"I can't say that I do," Alastor retorted with a laugh.

"They wipe their memories. It seems cruel doesn't it? But it allows them to remember none of their earthly life. No sorrow, pain, etc…."

Alastor's eyes narrowed, his smile becoming more menacing, "Yes and?"

The snake coiled itself smugly, the end of it's tail beginning to smoke. "Just interesting, don't you think?" And with that it turned to ash from tail to tongue, leaving behind only a black mark on the grass.

Alastor sighed at the mess Nifty would have to clean, but he was filled with excitement at the Devil's words. He had craved a new kind of entertainment and...a vague warning from the devil about an angel in their midst. It didn't get much better than this. He quickened his stride as he made his way to the door, ideas churning. Was it a past victim perhaps? Or someone who had made it to heaven by the skin of their teeth just waiting to be tempted back to their old ways. Or was this just an opportunity to terrify?

He threw open the door with a flourish and his eyes were met with Charlie excitedly gushing over the new guest. The angel's back was to him, giving him a good view of her delicate wings fluttering, as snow white as the lacy dress that trailed to the ground. Charlie met his gaze and came running his way, "Alastor you'll never believe it but we have an-"

"Angel!" He interrupted, spinning his cane in excitement. "Oh ho I think this is going to be QUITE-"

The angel turned her head at this voice. And he froze.

Alastor froze. His smile dropped from his mouth as his cane fell from his hand. Big brown eyes met his and his breath caught in his chest.

"Entertaining?" He heard Lucifer's voice in his ear, and his head was filled with devilish laughter.

Brown eyes looking into his, concerned? Confused? Her lips were moving but he heard nothing over the buzzing laughter in his head.

"AL!" Charlie's voice finally broke through. He turned his wide eyes to her and she looked...terrified. Charlie bit her lip, clearly distressed by his state. "Al are you...are you ok?"

Alastor looked at her, and to the angel and back to Charlie. He swallowed hard and gave a chuckle, summoning his cane and forcing a smile. "Of course my dear. Of course. I'll leave you to get our new guest settled." And with a flourish of his cane, he disappeared into wispy shadow.

Charlie looked at the angel who was staring at the spot he had been. "He seems..um...nice?" The angel's voice tinkled as she spoke.

Charlie gave a nervous laugh, disturbed by the Radio Demon. She had never seen him...well...affected. But that would be a conversation for later. For now, she had to make their new guest feel at home.
