Earthly next morning, Danny walked on down to the Fenton Lab, seeing his father wearing fishing gear and having a fishing line cast into the Ghost Portal. Danny, confused, moved closer to his dad to get a better look.
"Hey Dad, how are you doing?" He asked. Jack turned around, like Danny scared the hell out of him and pressing a finger to his lips.
"Danny, Danny, keep it down. You'll scare away the Ghosts! ' He said giving a stern look as he turned back around. ''It's the Fenton Ghost Fisher! I'm Fishing for ghosts!"
Danny, looking at the stupidly named fishing pole, shaking his head. Jack stops reeling and stretches out the line a bit. "Check out this line. Coated with a special high-test ectoplasmal resin that ghosts can't break. Quiet now. Don't wanna spook 'em."
Jack recasts the line and sips his soda. Suddenly, his stomach rumbles. He hands his son the rod and stood up rather quickly. "Here! Hang on to this. I'll be right back after I use the Fenton Urinal."
Suddenly, the line goes fully straight, causing Danny's ghost sense to go off
.
Danny strains to keep a hold of the Fenton Fisher against the resistance, but the line unfortunately breaks. A blue ghost dragon soon emerges from the portal, the line hanging from her mouth.
She roars and the line's broken end smacks Danny in the face.
The dragon, looking rather angry at Danny, grabs him in her fist and brings him up to her face. "I want to go !"
Danny becomes a blue ghostly mist to escape Dora's fist and reforms. Surprised, the dragon tries twice to hit Danny, before breathing green fire at him, all of which he dodges. He returns with a kick, which sends her flying across the room, during which her golden amulet falls off her neck into Danny's open backpack.
Upon landing, the dragon transforms into a ghost girl. "All I wanted was to go to the Princess Costume Ball. And my horrid mummy won't let me!" She wails as she flies back through the portal.
"That was strange…" Danny said as he changed back and proceeded to get on ready for the upcoming school day.
Meanwhile over at Sora and Kairi's house, they also were getting ready for the day.
"Man, it is so weird going to school. I havent been to one in nearly 3 years…" Sora
said sighing and finishing up. Kairi, however, just laughed at Sora.
"Speak for yourself. Before Lea's nobody kidnapped me I was going to school back on the island." Kairi said. "I'm more than excited to learn new things at Casper High."
On that note, the pair left and soon made their way towards the school.
