As far as parties go, Percy guessed it was okay. There was little to drink besides cheap wine, and the food wasn't much better. Not to mention Athena kept following him and telling Percy to enjoy the food. It was only when Percy was going to give in if only to make her be quiet, that he noticed some of the other party-goers were suspiciously still. When Percy turned to look at them he realized they were statues. Without even thinking about it, Percy threw the most likely poisoned food away from him and whipped around to glare at Athena. Only to see that she had backup, in the form of two other women, and a bunch of henchmen.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?!" Percy demanded, trying to buy time to do... something. He didn't quite know what yet.

"Hahahahaha! A simple petrification powder mixed into the food was enough." Athena mocked, before turning to the henchmen, "Get them loaded up. We'll deal with this one."

Percy had been busy trying to pull the water from the cheap wine but hadn't managed to when the three women attacked. Before the attacks could land a voice called out, "SHIELD!" Annabeth appeared in front of him holding a pen like a weapon in one hand and a blue hat in the other as Percy realized he was being dragged away by a small hand.

"Gover?" Percy asked confused as the small child was pulling him along like it was nothing.

"Not now! Annabeth needs space to work."

"What do you mean?!"

Grover pulled him to a stop once they were out of the clearing. "I mean, Annabeth needs as few people around her as possible."

Annabeth meanwhile was glaring at the three women, Athena in particular, "You're a member of Fairy Tail?"

Athena snarled, "Yes. What's it to you kid?"

"I've never seen you in the guildhall before. And to me, that means you're lying." Annabeth raised her pen to attack and revealed the dark grey Fairy Tail symbol on her forearm. "See I don't really care if you are good, evil, or somewhere in the middle. You are tarnishing Fairy Tail's name with your lies and I won't let that stand."

"You think you can stop me, little girl?!"

"Medusa! Shut up!" one of the other women hissed, "That's a legit member of Fairy Tail!"

Percy glanced down at Grover, "You guys are really from Fairy Tail?"

"Yep! Now hush!"

Annabeth glared at the three women, "Solid script: HOLE!" Just before Medusa fell into the center of the scripted 'o' she threw a ceramic jar at Annabeth, who unfortunately dodged. The jar shattered against a nearby tree which proceeded to erupt into brilliant emerald flames. Annabeth let out a string of curses as the fire spread. "Solid script: WATER!" While the spell did douse the first tree it did nothing for the rest of them.

Luckily the water was just what Percy needed. Summoning the water to himself, Percy shaped it into a large sphere before dispersing it into several jets towards each flaming tree. Unluckily, the forest fire had been seen by someone in town who had alerted the army because of it. Said army was now rushing towards the clearing.

"Time to go!" Annabeth shouted as she rushed passed Percy, grabbing his hand in the process, knowing that Grover wouldn't be far behind.

"What about those guys that were petrified?" Percy asked after he had managed to match her pace.

"That stuff wears off after a few hours. They'll be fine."

"Okay. Better question. Why did you bring me along?"

Annabeth spared a glance over her shoulder, "You seem like the kind of guy who gets into trouble a lot." She met his eyes for a second, "I figured you'd be a good fit in Fairy Tail."

Percy smiled, "Alright then! Let's go!"

Once again thank you all so much for reading this!

I guess this is gonna be a yearly thing huh?

I swear it's not intentional, but I do find it hilarious.
