Little different chapter, plus a little information about future updates at the end of the chapter. This mostly focuses on the next three focuses of the story.

Eda groaned as she removed a bunch of white hair from her dress.

"Luz, that demon of yours is shedding everywhere!" Eda said, to no response, "What is that girl doing?"

Eda walked up the stairs and into Luz's room.

"Luz?"

Eda opened the door and saw Luz, sitting on the ground, with her legs crossed.

"Uh, Luz? What are you doing?"

"Shh!" Luz said, "I'm trying to focus."

"On what exactly?"

"I'm trying to connect with my past lives, maybe they could help me."

"Luz, if it's about that symbol, don't try and put everything you have into trying to find out what it is."

"Eda, I have-"

"No, Kid, you don't have to do this."

"Yes, I do. It is my mission, and it has been since the beginning of the Avatar." Luz said, "I've been reincarnated about 185 times (Don't know if that's accurate but the only thing I could find was that Korra was the 183 Avatar) But I only remember two of them. I'm hoping one of them could help."

"Kid, you really should focus on something else. Why not feed your demon, that might help."

"I don't know, she's probably more focused on her egg."

"Luz, you're the only one she'll allow near that thing."

"Fine." Luz got up and walked to the room, "Alright, you ready for dinner?"

Luz entered the room and was met with a surprise.

"The egg hatched!"

Luz picked up the small white hatchling and spun around. The mother came over and Luz set the baby down. The mom picked it up by the back of its neck like a kitten. Luz looked at it and smiled. She pulled her demon book.

"Well, according to this, a newly hatched Protector will always have white scales and its real scale color/colors will come in after the first two months."

Luz put her book back and walked backwards towards the door. The book says that it's important for the parents and hatchlings to bond, seeing as most packs are made up of large families. As she was walking backwards, she bumped into the wall and a book fell in front of her.

"Well, at least it wasn't on my head this time." Luz said.

Luz looked at the open book and grabbed it.

"This is from the human realm." She said, starting to look through it, "Wait, this is the symbol… the Red Lotus?"

Luz held her head in pain as memories flashed through her mind. Luz began to panic, she knew this is bad. In Blight Manor, a Healer was checking up on Amity. Odalia and Alador noticed that she's been in pain and her heartbeat has been slow. It wasn't that they cared about her, it was just that they were already having a strike at the factory and it was gaining a lot of bad publicity, if something happened to Amity, it could get an investigation started and that would definitely land them in prison. The Healer looked over her and found the problem.

"I've seen this before." He injected Amity with a needle and she fell asleep, "I will order more of these and have them shipped to you. Just give her a shot every couple of days and she should be fine in about… six weeks."

The Healer left and pulled out a small crystal ball.

"It is done."

"Good, everything is going to plan." Caine said, "Let's hope the Blights are dumb enough to not realize that she's actually getting injected with more demon venom."

Amity tossed in bed and held her stomach. She started to make growling noises and dragged her nails over the bed frame, making large cuts in the wood. In another part of the Isles, in the Emperor's Castle, Hunter began to walk up. He groaned in pain and sat up. He felt multiple healing glyphs on him. Annoying but at least his jaw didn't hurt as much anymore.

"Hunter."

Hunter turned and saw Belos in the doorway. Hunter looked away.

"Hunter, please look at me. I have a lot to say."

"Why should I listen to you?"

"Because what I'm about to tell you is the truth." Belos said, "Plus, I brought you, a little friend."

Belos held Hunter's staff and Hunter saw something on Rascal. An Emperor's Coven symbol.

"I figured that I won't always be there to protect you, so maybe he can." Belos said.

Rascal flew over and landed on Hunter's bed. Hunter smiled at him before looking at Belos. Belos sat down next to Hunter's bed.

"Hunter, what I'm about to tell you, means that you could be in danger. No one can know about this. Are you sure you want to know this?"

Hunter thought about it before coming to an answer.

"Yes."

"It all started over 400 years ago."

Okay, so, my computer battery died on Saturday, so I can't write until I get a new one. The only reason I was able to finish and post this, was because it was already saved to my phone, everything else is not. On the bright side, this story has a Tv Tropes page!
