The brothers looked at the large lake in front of them. They both knew that this was it, months of training all came down to this moment. Bending and Magic, it all seemed so... weird, almost unnatural.

"Are you ready, Philip?" Caine asked.

"No, but I never was going to be ready."

"Now remember, this lake has an ancient and powerful thing in them, known as Titan's Blood. It's what gives this lake it's power to give magic to non-magic users." Horace said, "Now, you need to remember, you must be completely submerged in order for it to work. It will only be a minute for us but for you, it will be the longest moments of your life."

"What will we see?" Philip asked.

"Your biggest mistakes, sins of your past. Only those with a strong mind and even stronger will can handle this. Are you two ready?"

Philip and Caine look at each other. If they were to prevent some great danger, then they won't hesitate to try their hardest to stop it.

"We are." Philip said, "I'll go first."

Philip walked into the lake and, after a few seconds, he found himself to a point where he couldn't reach the bottom with his feet. He took a breath and submerged his head into the water. He closed his eyes and when they opened, he found himself back at the temple.

"What the- was it all just a dream?"

"Philip."

He turned around and saw the bodies of his parents.

"Why, son, why did you fail us?" Lee asked.

"I... I didn't."

"You could've saved us if you were faster." Iya said, "You let us die!"

"N-n-no, I didn't... I didn't let you die." Philip said.

Philip closed his eyes and tried to drown out the voices.

"I was close to slipping, then I got help from an old memory." Belos said.

"Are you really going to let that get to you?"

Philip opened his eyes and saw Caine. He remembered this, it was months ago when the Masters told him that he would become a master, something that was making him incredibly nervous. Becoming a master was an honor, but it also meant that you had this powerful.

"Philip, you are way better than those arrow heads and if anyone has a problem, they can come talk to me." Caine said, "No one messes with my brother."

Philip got up as the memory went away. He looked at the corpses and glared.

"You are not my parents. They would never act like this." Philip said.

"You failed us son."

"My parents would've rather died than want their children get hurt in their place."

The corpses stopped talking and Philip looked at them.

"As long as I have my brother, we will be fine, that's all my parents would want."

Philip opened his eyes and realized he was in water. He swam up and took in a deep breath. He swam to the edge of it and got out.

"Make a circle with your finger." Horace said.

Philip did as he was told and made a circle with his finger. A red glow followed his finger and he and Caine watched in amazement.

"You know have Airbending and magic." Horace said.

"Pretty impressive, Little Brother." Caine said, "My turn."

Caine walked into the water and submerged his head. Philip waited for him to come out. Caine slowly came out of the water and looked at Philip.

"Caine?"

Caine shot fire at him, which Philip barely avoided. Caine got out of the lake and smiled.

"I have to say, I'm glad we came here." Caine said.

Caine made a spell circle and the Philip was hit by a strong spell that sent him at the wall.

"This magic is powerful, wish I had it sooner." Caine said, turning his attention to Horace, "I should thank you, but I can't leave any... loose ends."

He shot fire at Horace's chest and watched him fall. He walked over and stepped on Horace's neck.

"Like I said, I can't leave any loose ends."

He shoved his hand through Horace's chest. He walked out of the cave and away from the lake. He has much to do in such little time. Philip got up and ran over to Horace.

"P-p-please, make sure... he doesn't hurt... my family."

Horace handed him a picture and Philip took it.

"I will." Philip said, bowing his head.

Horace took a final breath and went limp. Philip stood up and left the cave, he was going to stop Caine, if it was the last thing he did.

"It took almost a decade before I faced Caine again. It didn't end well." Belos said, "He easily beat me and then placed a curse on me."

"What happened after that?" Hunter asked.

"I stopped his plan, but learned something. He needs to return to the lake every century in order to stay alive, just like how palisman hold off my curse and keep me alive." Belos said, "I knew I had to stop that, so when I went on a long journey, using my Air Nomad knowledge to meditate until I reached peace, it was then that I was able to speak with the Titan. He taught me how to unite magic and slow him down. When I managed to become Emperor, I knew I had to stop him from accessing the lake, so I keep it guarded everyday, by a special task force. He's coming back, by the end of the summer."

"Where is this place?" Hunter asked.

Belos looked at him.

"Eclipse Lake."
