Sorry, this chapter was cut short because i really couldn't focus on it
So please, don't expect too much out of this one.
Hopefully, the next chapter wouldn't be as bad.

Vivian was panicking.
She promised Hilbert a solution in a week and the clock was ticking.
"Okay, where can i find a solution to being miserable?" Vivian asked herself in her room "some delectable novels? No, too lengthy. Funny jokes? Shouldn't be joking around with this, his memory is on the line!"
Vivian groaned and paced restlessly around her room, racking her brain for a solution.
"Ugh, they make it look so easy in the show!" Vivi complained in frustration. "They just go to the library and- THAT'S IT! The library!"
Vivian, feeling like she finally has a lead, sped out of her room slamming the door behind her.
She went downstairs as fast as she could, even nearly crashing into her dad on the way.
"Oops, that could have been bad. Sorry, dad, gotta go!" Said Vivian quickly without so much as a glance to her back.
"Be careful!" Vivian's dad said calmly
"I will!" Replied Vivian cheerfully as she opened the front door and slowly closed it when she left.
Vivian's dad was glad she learned to not slam the door on her way out.

"*pant* I'm here *pant*" said Vivian between breaths "running all the way here without stopping wasn't a good idea, was it?"
Vivian, after finally taking a short break from running, entered the library filled with expectations.
"Okay, let's revise the plan. I find Kaisa, she mysteriously hands me a book with the solution to Hilbert's problem and boom! Success!" Said Vivian cheerfully "Hilbert wouldn't have to erase his memories!"
Vivian immediately started looking around for Kaisa the librarian with an expression full of determination.
That same expression was destroyed a few minutes later.
"Where is she?" Vivian asked worriedly as she looked around the library. "I can't find her anywhere."
Vivian began to panic, she felt as if her one good idea was beginning to crumble.
"M-maybe i can look for her tomorrow, i still have a week." Said Vivi dejectedly "no! The earlier the better. Maybe i can find something on my own. Yeah! That might work!"
Vivian convinced herself that everything was fine, that everything WILL be fine and that she didn't need to worry.
She scoured the library for any books that might be helpful and...she found nothing.
To say it was disheartening would be an understatement. Vivian felt under pressure, her one friend's fate depended on her and she lied to him as well...if she didn't find anything, even if he doesn't erase his memories, he'd hate her forever.
And under this pressure, despite having plenty of time on her hands, she couldn't help but start breaking down when she failed.
Vivian sat on the stairs to the library on the verge of tears as she imagined the possibility of failure.
Then, help arrived in a unexpected way. A kind old lady approached her.
"What seems to be the problem, young lady." Vivi turned to the owner of the voice and immediately recognized her.
"Tildy!"
Tildy was confused, how does this little girl know her name? And why did she looks so happy to see her?
"I know this sounds too sudden, but i need your help; the magic kind." Said Vivian with a determined expression
Tilda could only raise a brow in interest before agreeing to hear the little girl out.

"Sooo, that's about it." Said Vivian as she fidgeting with her fingers.
Tildy had taken her to her house so they could finish their chat and Vivian explained...everything. as in the whole is just a cartoon and all that.
The empty pause that took place right after was enough to cause Vivi some worry.
"I know it sounds insane, but i sear I'm-"
"Oh no, i believe you." Said Tildy with a kind smile "it's just been a while since I've seen another one of you."
Vivian's ears perked up upon hearing that.
"...wait, you've seen others like me before?" Asked Vivian curiously and Tildy let out a small nod "and you're not questioning your reality or anything?"
"This world is home to many mysteries compared to yours. If i kept worrying about every little surprise, I'd never move on." Said Tildy with a smile before offering Vivi some tea "tea?"
"Thank you." Said Vivian accepting the tea.
"So, what is it that you needed help with young lady?" Asked Tildy calmly
"Well, i have a friend who also is from my world and he hasn't been well since Hil-someon-uh something hurt him mentally and now he's trying to completely erase his memories and you have experience and magic, so i need you to help him!"
"Hmm, i see." Said Tildy calmly as she sipped a cup of tea.
"So...please tell me you can help." Vivi pleaded desperately.
Tildy took a pause before answering with a smile. "I think i might know a little trick that can help."
Vivian beamed happily at that answer before dashing full speed to Hilbert's house without stopping for a single second.

"*pant* i really *pant* need to stop doing that." Said Vivian as she stood in front of Hilbert's house.
She donned a determined look before heading inside and knocking on the door...to which no one answered.
She knocked again and still nothing.
She then remembered that Johanna was probably at work and Hilda was on an adventure to free David from the lost clan.
Thankfully, Spark was there and opened the door since Hilbert was not in the state to do so.
They let out a few zaps which Vivian loosely understood as "be ready"
Inside, she saw Hilbert...building toys out of any random junk he could find.
"Hilbert?" Vivi called out as she slowly approached Hilbert.
Hilbert turned around so suddenly with a forced smile it scared Vivian.
"Vivi! Great news! I'm now alright and don't need help anymore." The black bags under his twitching eyes said otherwise.
"What is...all of this?" Asked Vivian as she gestured towards all the weird toys Hilbert made in her absence "actually, nevermind. I have a way to help you."
"But i don't need help." Said Hilbert with a forced smile and an eye twitch.
Vivian silently stared at him with a frown. Spark let out a series of zaps between their horns that translated to "he's in denial"
"I've read and seen enough stories to know what happening here." Said Vivian with a frown "I'm taking you away whether you like it or not."
Vivian then began forcibly pulling Hilbert away which wasn't difficult since Hilbert hadn't slept or eaten well lately.
Spark made sure to follow them after closing the door to make sure they're okay.

The trip to Tildy's house was horrible.
Vivian felt bad for Hilbert and cared about him, but that didn't mean that the current him was easy to deal with.
In his half sleeping state, he was nearly hit by a car, nearly fell into a garbage bag, nearly got into a fight with a cat and more.
So many things happened that Vivian herself was close to falling asleep from exhaustion.
But Vivian didn't give up, because that means giving up the only thing that felt completely REAL in this life.
And at last, they made it to Tildy's house.
"Oh, you're here. Come in." Said Tildy cheerfully as she welcomed the three inside.
Hilbert, despite his tiredness, recognized the old lady to an extent.
"Tildy?" He asked in confusion
"Yes!" Replied Vivian tired "and i told her everything about everything! Please just let her do her thing!"
"You...what?" Asked Hilbert surprised at how easily Vivian gave their secret away.
"Don't worry, you're not the only one I've met whose soul is from another world" said Tildy calmly before gesturing towards a couch "have a seat."
Hilbert slowly obeyed and sat on the couch and Vivian sat next to him.
"Now, tell me all about your problem."
"...is your solution therapy or something?"
"You'd be surprised at how much a good ear can help." Said Tildy with a kind smile.
Hilbert frowned before taking a deep breath, it's not like he'll lose anything.

He told her everything, from his fear of detachment from this world to his fear of his family finding out to how much he cared about them.
He even teared up a bit here and there and Tildy told him what he needed to do.
She convinced him to tell his family about who he really is. Of course, during the right moment and not today.
She told him that if he could love his family so much, then they aren't the type to hate him for such a thing.
And as for what Hilda had said, Tildy told him to wait and see if she really did hate him. Hilbert didn't exactly know what she meant, but agreed nonetheless.
In the end, this trip wasn't half bad.
But, after thanking Tildy and Vivian for dragging him here, Hilbert had something to request from the old witch.
He wanted her to destroy the time travel magazine and after explaining why, Tildy agreed.
And thus, with a future threat gone and a two Hildas saved, Hilbert went home with Spark with a tiny smile on his face.

Again, sorry for the bad quality. The next chapter will hopefully be better.
Toodles.
