Hello, and welcome back to 'All I Want For Christmas is a Pokémon'. ...Now, I've got a bit of bad news...I don't think I'll have this finished by Christmas (I've been busy with helping babysit my nephew who's gotten the hang of crawling (and likes to follow me around) and getting things ready for the jolly day, which also happens to be my grandma's birthday). ...But, never fear, for I will have this done at least during winter! ...Should could count, right? *clears my throat* My weird apology out of the way, onto to Part 2! I hope you all enjoy this, my dolls. =)
The next few days seemed to fly by as, the next thing AJ and Kaitlyn knew, it was Monday. And with it brought their next wrestling show they had to take off for.
"Gotta love Mondays. Am I right or am I right?" the brunette jokingly asked after she finished packing her suitcase and duffel bag.
"Depends on the Monday. In the case of this Monday, ...not so much," Kaitlyn replied. "I'm really not feeling up to getting tossed around the ring by Beth tonight."
"Don't talk like that, Kait. I'm sure you'll be able to put up a good enough fight against her. Just remember what we learned in our training with Alex. Just keep all of that in mind," AJ said, mentioning their mentor and third member of the Chickbusters.
"I'll try to. I just hope Beth won't be feeling too pissed about anything tonight. That's usually when it seems like she's the toughest to beat."
"Unless Santino said something that pissed her off, I'm sure she won't be that tough to beat. But, if she does end up beating you, ...then you can at least say you tried," the brunette said with a teasing smirk.
"Gee. Thanks for the pep talk, half-pint," the two-toned woman laughed as she put her pouch with her Pokéballs and her Pokédex in her duffel bag. "Now, come on. The road awaits."
"Yes, mom," AJ laughed a bit as she grabbed her own bags and joined her friend.
Leaving out of their apartment, the duo made their way to AJ's car after asking their neighbor to keep an eye on the place-"Don't I always keep watch over your place? You guys have fun. And kick some ass out there," one of their neighbors, a guy in his mid 20s said with a grin-and took off for their destination, unaware of just what lied ahead for their Monday night.
...
"What do you mean you couldn't find it?!" Stephanie McMahon asked the crew member as she looked at the mess of broken light bulbs.
"It just got away from me, Ms. McMahon," the crew hand began to explain himself. "I even let my Machop try to help catch it, but it was just too fast for us."
"Well, you and the others had better try and catch that pest soon! We've had to deal with the little stowaway for far too long. It's time we do something about it."
"Yes, Ms. McMahon. We'll get on trying to catch it right away," the crew hand said before taking off.
Watching as the crew hand made his way around gathering other crew members, the brunette couldn't help the annoyed sigh that escaped her as she made her way to her office. 'This has gone on long enough. We have to catch that pest and release it back into the wild. For its own good and safety and that of everyone here.'
...
Peeking out from where it was hiding between two of the equipment crates, the trainerless Pokémon saw where some of the people it had been following were walking around, some with their own Pokémon out.
"There you go, my précieuse Delcatty. You've earned this after the training you've done today," the Pokémon could see a smiling woman with long platinum blonde hair saying to a feline Pokémon with yellow and purple fur as she gave the Pokémon a bowl of grapes.
"Nyaa," was the Pokémon's happy response before it began to eat its after-training snack.
"Just a bit more green, Splat, and our masterpiece'll be complete," a man with brunette hair that had other colors in it could be heard saying to his assistant, a bipedal Pokémon that looked like it was wearing an artist's beret.
"Smea!" the Pokémon nicknamed Splat could be heard saying before dipping its tail, looking appropriately like a paintbrush, into a bucket of green paint.
As the Pokémon hid and watched all of this go on, it couldn't help the jealousy that had been growing within it. Suppressing a growl as it could feel its cheeks start to tingle, the Pokémon watched on until it would make its presence known again.
In the words of Jack Skellington, what's this? What's this? An angry stowaway Pokémon! Oh my, it looks like there's a jealous Pokémon in the midst of the roster. But, what kind of Pokémon could it be that could elude and evade the Pokémon of the crew members? And will Stephanie's hope to catch and release it come to be? That shall be revealed ...in the coming parts. Until then, don't forget to RR please. =)
(Stay safe, healthy, and warm out there, lovelies. And I hope your holiday preparations go well. *sends love and good vibes out to you all*)
