Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope everyone's been doing well as we all get ready for the big holly jolly day tomorrow (be safe if you had to do any last-minute shopping). My gift to you all is a new chapter of 'All I Want For Christmas is a Pokémon'! I hope you all enjoy this. Just a recap: Last time, we saw AJ and Kaitlyn get ready to head out for another show. Should be business as usual, right? ...Well, not so much. We cut to the arena, where we learn that there's a stowaway Pokémon that seems to have caused some damage to some property, something that has not pleased Stephanie McMahon (Rule #1: NEVER piss of a McMahon. Not smart.). Hopefully, they'll be able to catch and release the poor stowaway before things get worse. And to end the chapter, we get a glimpse of the stowaway, who seems to be quite the jealous Pokémon if it watching Maryse with her Delcatty and Jeff Hardy with his Smeargle is any indication. What could happen next? Let's find out in this new chapter! I hope you all enjoy this, my dolls. And again, have a (safe and healthy) Merry Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas. =)

(Author's note: The Alex that appears later in the chapter is my own OC Alex Hardy. I decided to include her in this, as I felt she'd be a good ear for AJ to talk to. Want to know what I mean by that? Read on to find out, lovelies.)

"Come on, Kaitlyn! You got this!" AJ shouted as she slapped the mat in support of her teammate during the two-toned woman's RAW match.

She could hear the support from her friend and from the fans in attendance, but Kaitlyn was beginning to feel that it was pointless. She had been getting flung around the ring with relative ease by the Glamazon. And if she wasn't getting thrown around, she was getting slammed into the mat. 'Maybe I should just let Beth Glam Slam me and call it a match. I don't think I can take anymore of this,' the two-toned woman thought as she sat in one of the corners trying to catch her breath.

...And it seemed like she got her wish as the next thing she knew, after she managed to pull herself up, Beth grabbed her and connected with her finisher, the Glam Slam, allowing her to pick up the win.

Rolling out of the ring, Kaitlyn rubbed her back as she made her way over to where AJ was as she let her friend help her backstage.

"Don't feel too bad, Kait," AJ said as she tried to cheer her friend up. "I think you did pretty well against Beth tonight."

"Yeah, I guess you're right about that," Kaitlyn agreed. "At least it didn't seem like she was pissed about anything, so I guess that's a plus."

"That's the spirit. Now, come on. I think you've got an appointment with a back rub from Bulby."

"Back rub from Bulby. That sounds nice," Kaitlyn agreed with a smile.

Laughing a bit as she shook her head, AJ walked along with the two-toned woman when-

"Damn it, Evan! I thought I told you to keep your Monferno in check at the snack tables!"

"And I thought I told you that Blaze gets hungry after our training sessions!"

"Guys, guys, guys! Come on. Can't we all just be cool about this? Last I checked, the snacks here are for everyone to eat, whether it's us people or our Pokémon."

"...Yeah, I guess you're right, Lay. My bad, Evan. Didn't mean to ...snap like that."

"No worries, Curt. I'll ...make sure to keep Blaze from trying to ...eat everything ...in the ...future."

And that was the last the Chickbusters had heard from Evan and Curt before both men fell to the ground as they, along with their Pokémon and some others nearby, lightly started to snore.

A laugh escaping her, Kaitlyn asked "Really, Layla? You had your Marill use Sing on the guys?"

"What? They were fighting over the snacks that are supposed to be for all of us," the brunette, a woman named Layla, innocently smiled. "I just thought it'd be a good idea to help them get some Z's and calm down so that they won't have any more silly arguments like that. ...At any rate, my Marill's earned a few apple slices for her help here."

"Marill, Mare!" Marill happily said as her trainer reached down and petted one of her ears.

Seeing this exchange go on between her friends, AJ took the opportunity to excuse herself-"Sorry, I have to go to the restroom. Plus, I need to make a call," she lied as she grabbed some of the apple slices and grapes from one of the snack tables. Walking away from the older pair, the brunette soon found herself bombarded with more of the usual sights she'd see at times.

And those sights would be some of the other wrestlers with their Pokémon.

"Thanks for helping keep me warm, Quilly. This winter's been pretty cold," Zack Ryder could be seen and heard saying to a Pokémon with areas of yellow and blue fur that had low flames coming out of its back as he held his hands over the lowly burning flames.

"Quil, Cyndaquil!" the Pokémon, a Cyndaquil, happily said.

And other such sights and sounds could be heard around her. Trying to ignore all of that, AJ continued on her way back to the Chickbusters locker room. Finally seeing locker room door, she dashed over before grabbing hold of the doorknob and giving it a twi-

"St-stop it, Bulby, stop it! I'm ti-I'm ticklish under my arms!" a female voice could be heard around her laughs.

Pushing open the door, AJ couldn't help the laugh that escaped her as she shook her head. "Alex, do I even want to know why Bulby's using Vine Whip to tickle you?"

Working to get her breathing back under control as Bulby stopped her tickle attack, Alex, a brunette with dark blue streaks dyed into her hair, said "You know how Bulby can be, AJ. When she gets excited, she gets weirdly tickly. Why Kait even taught Bulby how to use Vine Whip like that, I'll never know."

"Well, better you than me. And who knows why Kait did that?" AJ teasingly grinned. Holding out what she had, the brunette said "Here, Bulby. I brought you some snacks."

Seeing the handfuls of fruit one of her trainer's best friends had, Bulby excitedly said "Sa!" before running over to where the older brunette set down the fruits she had and began to eat her snack.

Walking over to where Alex was sitting on one of the benches, AJ said "You're welcome for saving you from that."

"Thanks, AJ," Alex said before giving the other brunette a side hug. "Tough break with Kait losing to Beth out there. But, at least she didn't get beaten too badly."

"Surprisingly, she didn't. I guess Beth was just in a good mood tonight," AJ agreed, her thoughts beginning to drift back to her recent backstage walk.

Seeing the slightly far-off look starting to cross one of her former student's face, Alex asked "AJ? Everything okay over there?"

She hadn't been paying much attention to what one of her former teachers was saying, so it surprised AJ when she felt herself being shaken followed by Alex saying "April? April! Is everything okay?!" Blinking as she managed to snap back to the present, AJ looked over and saw Alex looking at her and Bulby at her feet, both with worried looks on their faces. "Oh. Sorry, guys. Didn't mean to worry you guys."

"It's okay, AJ. I just want to know why the 1000 yard stare. Are you okay? Did something happen before you got back here?" Alex asked before adding "Am I gonna have to go kick someone's ass for you?"

"No, nothing bad. Just…. Just, y'know, the usual."

"Aww, AJ. Don't forget that I know exactly how you feel about all of that."

"I'm glad someone else on the roster does."

"Well, it's like I've always said and like Matt and Jeff and the rest of our family have always told me: In time, you'll get a Pokémon to call your own. It'll just take the right moment for that to happen," Alex said with a reassuring smile. It was no secret to the rest of the roster that Alex also didn't have any Pokémon of her own yet, but it was just another thing that she just let roll off her back; it was also something that she felt helped make her and AJ's friendship a bit stronger, as she could understand where AJ would be coming from with some of her own Pokémonless bouts of sadness at times.

"Sa, Bulba!" Bulby said in what AJ knew was agreement.

Hearing the encouragement coming from Alex and Bulby, AJ smiled as she said "Thanks, you guys. I guess I needed that after seeing Pokémon pretty much everywhere lately," as she reached down and petted the bulb that grew out of Bulby's back.

"Understandable. Well, just keep in mind what I said and I'm sure your Pokémon-based wishes will come true soon. Who knows? Maybe it'll come true for you for Christmas. ...Or around Christmas. ...Whichever comes first," Alex said with a grin.

Laughing a bit at what the youngest Chickbuster said, AJ sat back and watched the rest of RAW with Alex and Bulby. 'Who knows? Maybe Alex is right. Maybe if I wish hard enough, maybe I'll finally get my first Pokémon around Christmas. ...A Pokémon-loving geekette can only hope, at least.'

*laughs* Looks like things can get pretty crazy backstage, if Evan and Curt's argument is any indication. Good thing Layla and her Marill were there to help diffuse the situation before things got out of hand. And all it took was Marill using Sing to calm things down...a bit too calm, if you ask me. XD I guess AJ's Pokémonless envy got the best of her, as she decided to head back to her locker room among more of the same sights. Good thing she has a friend in Alex, who understands where she comes from in the not-yet-having-Pokémon department. Who knows? Maybe what Alex said is true. Maybe AJ'll get her first Pokémon for or around Christmas. But, will that happens? Stay tuned until next time. Until then, don't forget to RR please. And again (again), have a (safe and healthy) Merry Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas. =)

(*sends love and good vibes out to you all*)
