Yay I made this one longer than chapter 1. I know I posted this earlier than I said I would, but that's because I'm sick so I wont have the time to make another chapter till around late next week. I think I'm improving though. Anyways, enjoy the chapter! any reviews would be appreciated! I promise ill try to make the chapters longer as I go.

Kakashi was abolished when he finally found civilization. It was much too large for his liking. Some of the structures were as big or even bigger than the Hokage's building, and it was oh so much bigger than he was used to.

Kami, how would he be able to even find a store in this mess of a village.

—-

Turns out, he wasn't able to find any stores with what he was searching for after all. He wasn't even sure if a place this big even counted as a village in the first place.

Of course, he stayed in the shadows, not letting anyone get a small glimpse at him. But not a trace of any scrolls could be found. Until he came across one small little store on the outskirts of the village. Far.. almost too far away from where he started.

Maybe he realized a bit too late that he had no source of currency whatsoever when he entered the shop.

But he really wished he did, because dear sage, it was pretty much a ninja's wet dream in there. Shelves held high quality shuriken, kunai, that was probably even better than what he had before. There were katanas, and every variety of sabre he could think of. But he had to shake those thoughts away and shove them to the back of his mind, no matter how wonderfully tempting it was.

He finally found the scrolls and ink, and decided that he would come back later to get a haul of all those goodies. The store owner wasn't too interested in him anyways, letting him stroll around the store without giving him a single glance. So he deemed it wouldn't be hard to break in and grab some stuff if the owner hardly acknowledged him in the first place.

He let out a heavy sigh as he left the shop, all those goodies had to wait. Now.. what to do to pass the time?

He was cloud gazing, trying to think of anything productive he could do when he suddenly felt exhausted again. Letting out a sigh, he instantly realized the cause of his tiredness. He didn't have enough chakra, even if he was a kage-level shinobi, the Hatake simply weren't born with the needed amount of chakra for a Kekkei Genkai like the Sharingan. Especially since he had 2 now, he hardly had enough chakra to use his single Sharingan for a couple of hours in the first place.

This was going to be a problem.

But that still didn't answer his question on why he had two sharingan. His thoughts continued to wander, keeping both of his eyes closed to reserve chakra like he used to with his single sharingan. But then he felt something sitting on his face, opening a single eye, he reached for it, finding a neatly made scroll in its place.

Sitting up, he opened his other eye, carefully inspecting the scroll. Looking around the area, it was quite barren, and he was a good distance from the village — or whatever they would call a place that big.

So he decided, he would open the scroll at a distance — and no one would even be this far out to notice.

Right?

Internally regretting everything, he carefully opened the scroll with a bit of his chakra. But nothing happened. He sat there for a few minutes, simply staring. But he picked it up graciously, for it not being a trap of some sort.

Opening it, he saw it was a message. He then tried to read it, trying to conserve chakra the best he could while having his eyes open.

Dear previous Rokudaime Hokage, Kakashi Hatake. Also formerly known as the "Copy-Nin"

Kakashi merely raised a brow, but continued to read nonetheless.

You may be wondering why you have two sharingan, correct? Well, I can answer your question. I'm afraid I won't be able to tell you everything in this scroll, but it will help you significantly. Don't worry, I do not want to cause you any harm. Anyways, the reason in which you have your sharingan, is you died. It could've been a much simpler situation, but Obito's spirit had somehow conjoined with yours while you were sent here, forcing you to form two sharingan even though you of course don't have the reserves for it. I, of course, want to help you. You see, not all of Obito's chakra is conjoined with yours, so I have a jutsu to fully combine both of your chakra. This will give you more than enough needed to use the sharingan correctly like any other Uchiha. To do this, you will simply need to smear your blood on this scroll like you would an animal contract like the one you have with your ninken, the jutsu signs are stated below. Good luck Copy-Nin!

Kakashi sat there motionless, his hands trembling, "huh.. so I guess I'm not alone after all, am I Obito?". Shaking his head, he searched for the hand signs he needed to perform. He had to do it quickly, since the sharingan were draining him at a rapid pace. Chakra exhaustion was far too familiar to him to not know when it was approaching. And right now, he didn't know what could happen to the scroll if he didn't do it and passed out first. And I mean hey— what could he lose?

He tapped his finger on his chin, studying and copying the signs with the use of his sharingan before attempting it. Satisfied, he bit his thumb, letting a small trail of warm blood trickle down as he smeared it on the scroll like he was instructed. Taking a deep breath, he formed each sign with precision.

"Karamiatta Chakura no Jutsu"

The scroll glowed, a bright light blinding his vision, until he suddenly felt chakra being fed to himself, it more than doubled his regular chakra reserves by the end of it. But he wasn't conscious by then, eventually found by his ninken when he took too long to get back and was dragged back to the house by Bull and an exasperated Pakkun following not far behind with the others.

—-

Kakashi woke up, sore to the bone. He let out a sharp hiss when he felt a lump jump onto his chest. Peeking up, pakkun gave him a hard glare, giving a tired chuckle in response as his eyes crinkled up into his famous eye-smile.

Pakkun only glared harder, before giving the Jounin a hard slap on the face. Kakashi gave a small pout, before the pug jumped down "Maa Pakkun, you woke up on the wrong side of the bed" he smirked, ignoring the irritated aura radiating from the small dog as he stalked out.

Intaking a large gulp of air, he heaved himself up so that he was now in a sitting position. He let some of his chakra through his body to sooth his muscles, a trick he learned with precise chakra control. But he let out a groan of pain, something that wasn't supposed to happen.

Something flickered in his mind, his chakra reserves much too large to be normal. Obito's chakra. With both chakra reserves intertwined, he didn't have the chakra control for this.

He could tell there was going to be a lot of trees and water walking in his future.

Deciding to ignoring the ache that still resided in his joints, he pushed away the sheets on the futon and forced himself to stand as he used a nearby table for support. Exhaustion came to him one way or another, this time it was just because he received too much chakra for his body to handle, causing him to pass out.

He found a bag huddled in the corner, curious, he zipped it open to find ration bars, ration pills (which he doubted he would need now), blood pills, and medical supplies. He let out a breathless sigh, this would've been helpful earlier.

He grabbed a ration bar from the bag, ignoring the wretched taste like he would for any mission. He could hunt rabbits and other animals for himself and the dogs, and if anything, he could eat the ration bars and pills as a last resort if he was in a bad state like now. Speaking of hunting, he still needed to go gather supplies from the store he found. Night wasn't far from now, that would probably be the best time. Even though he doesn't know how strong people are here, he wasn't expecting much, seeing no one sensed him when he was searching for a store. But he would never underestimate someone, he knew just how much of an upper hand underestimation could be. He gave an aggressive bite into the ration bar, lost in his thoughts.

Pakkun and the others caught a couple of rabbits, offering some to Kakashi which he denied, stating that the ration bar was more than enough to replenish any hunger he had. They all gave him a skeptical look, which he graciously ignored as he set out to go gather supplies.

He senses no chakra from most of these people, which he found quite strange. How they were still alive, he didn't know. But he did recognize that there were a few chakra signatures in the crowd, meaning that to his relief at least some people had chakra, or something close to it.

There was something off about it, it was different to say the least. So he stayed wary, keeping his chakra signature hidden at all times even if it wasn't at all necessary.

It was easy, really, breaking in. No traps or seals to secure anything. But he kept his guard up, taking as many shuriken, kunai, kami, he even found senbon. He found a sturdy tanto, it reminded him of his fathers own. Though of course it had its differences, he took it nonetheless. Of course, he grabbed ink, brushes, and scrolls with an addition of some wire, it wasn't like ninja wire, but he might find some use to it. He made his way out with ease, nothing relatively disturbed except for the missing objects he took.

He strolled towards the house and his ninken when he felt four chakra signatures outside. Three of them seemed to have smaller reserves. But the other, Kakashi, couldn't help but pick up his pace. Something told him that there was danger, the mysterious signature was strong, he would guess kage-leveled to be completely honest. It was the strongest by a long stretch from what he'd seen in this world. Now that he paid attention to their chakra a little closer, one of the weaker ones had something else to them. It reminded him of Naruto, with his chakra reserves combined with the kyuubi. That held some suspicion, but he scampered off not giving it another thought.

Of course, he didn't stand a chance even if he had both his and Obito's reserves as his own, his chakra control would simply cause utter destruction, maybe even his own death.

He couldn't help but give a small shutter at the thought as he leapt through the trees.

Finally stopping in front of the house, dimly lit by the moonlight breaking through the windows. He opened up a window and jumped over the ledge, landing quite gracefully in his room. Pakkun and the others were gone, so he guessed they dispelled themselves, and stored some of the kunai, shuriken, and senbon into his bag that held his supplies. Leaving the tanto on his back, he pulled out the ink and scrolls, an excited glint in his eye. Even though he wasn't a fuinjutsu master like his sensei was, he would say that he was decent. Copying from other scrolls when he was back in Konoha with his sharingan was also really helpful in figuring it out. Sensei would even let him peep at his work, where he surprisingly learnt a lot while doing so.

Brushing away any dust on the old table that sat next to his surprisingly comfortable futon, he pulled a chair over and laid out everything on the roughed out surface. Dipping the brush in the dark ink, he got to work creating a barrier seal so the only people who could get past it were him and his ninken. Satisfied, he laid out the seal, he couldn't help but have a little pride in his work.

He grabbed the wire he had earlier and some shuriken, making a trap on every surface outside his house. He would put a genjutsu on the trap, but that would have to wait. Making sure everything was in its right place, he laid on the futon waiting for him, out in a matter of minutes.

The next day, he decided to start on his chakra control. Putting his foot on the tree, he transferred some of the chakra onto his feet. Instead of sticking to the tree like he normally would, he was launched back, 30 feet away from the tree leaving an indent in his place.

He gave a small groan of pain, this was going to take a while.

And it did, after 4 hours, the most he could do was stick to the tree, but he couldn't take a single step without losing balance. He spent the whole day practicing his chakra control, and it paid off. He eventually got it, but that didn't include water walking. He shuddered at the thought, he could get drenched tomorrow.

He caught a rabbit, making a small fire since there was nothing to use in the kitchen he had, deeming it useless. After he ate, he crawled back into the house. Well, today was boring. He stared longingly at the tanto that leaned on a wall, he stopped using one after his fathers broke. Perhaps he could use one again. Smiling to himself, he slept in his anbu uniform, some of it digging into his skin which he didn't mind.

In the morning, he decided to run through some basic katas, as well as start with water walking. It was surprisingly easier than he thought it would be. He only fell in 3 times, and by the end of it he could water walk. Though of course anything quicker than walking made him lose his balance and simply got him drenched from head to toe.

He sat under a large tree, brushing off some dirt that was on his uniform. He should probably get some clothes, he couldn't stay in the anbu uniform forever, and he had to admit it needed a good wash.

He gave a small huff, his head resting on his knee as he fiddled with a small leaf. So much to do, he was getting too old for this.
