Hey everyone!
I'm back again with another piece to add to the 'Intimate Moments Collection'. This piece is a cute, sexy little piece; a follow up to the last piece perhaps?
Please enjoy :) xo
The Morning After
The melodious sound of the 6:30am alarm sounded throughout the dark bedroom, thus causing the sleepy couple to furrow their brows as the music filled their ears. Olivia rolled over and knocked the sound off, then she sat up slowly as a yawn escaped her lips. She rubbed her eyes and blinked a couple times to get her bearings. It was six-thirty in the morning - a Friday morning thank God- and Olivia was definitely not ready to step back into reality and head into work today.
She yawned once more and rubbed her eyes. Staying up half the night, rolling around in bed with her ridiculously handsome husband was not at all one of her greatest ideas in the world.
She felt a hand on her back, causing her to look over her shoulder. Edgar was giving her a sleepy smile, his fingers rubbing against her spine as he quietly spoke; "I'll go make you some coffee."
Olivia had to smile; sometimes he was too good to be true. She simply leaned down a little and pressed the sweetest, most delicate kiss to his soft lips. She wished she could stay like this, leaning over and kissing him as his fingers danced up and down her spine, but she couldn't do that.
"It's okay, baby; go back to sleep…" she whispered against his lips. She gave him another kiss then smiled at him; "I'll just get coffee on my way to work; it's no problem."
Edgar shook his head. It was their thing; he always made her coffee in the morning whether she had to go to work the next day or not. He simply leaned up and kissed her again before whispering; "Go shower; I'll get your coffee."
Olivia rolled her eyes as her plump lips twisted into a smirk. She should have known that he wouldn't take no for an answer.
She gave him another kiss before finally slipping out of bed. As he too got up and pulled on some clothes, she glanced back at him and smirked before making her way into the en suite. As she waited for the shower to heat up, she slipped off his long shirt and simply a moment to glance at herself in the mirror. She couldn't help but smirk as she saw the hickey on her chest and a bite mark on her shoulder. "Wow I need to tell him to stop with this." she thought to herself. But she didn't want him to stop. She loved these marks; hidden in intimate places, reminders of how passionate things could get between her and the man she loved.
About forty minutes or so later, Olivia was emerging from the bedroom of the beautiful Tribeca apartment. She was dressed in her skinny jeans and boots, with a black camisole top underneath a pale blue blouse. She had on a minimal amount of makeup and her hair was in loose waves. She had slipped on her black blazer and her badge and gun was clipped to her hip. She had popped into her son's room and kissed his forehead, then made her way further down the hall.
She rounded the corner only to see that her handsome man had just finished mixing her coffee. He screwed the lid onto her travel mug then handed it to her; "French vanilla coffee with your white chocolate creamer and two sugars."
"And it smells perfect, so I appreciate you." She put the mug on the counter along with her bag, then she stepped closer while putting her hands on his biceps; "You sure that Noah's okay to do his virtual school here while you're working?"
"Baby honestly it's fine; I'll be in my study and he'll be out here and I'll be popping in and out to check on him. It's fine…" Edgar gave a light chuckle as he rested his hands on her waist; "Stop worrying, babe; remember - I told you; you don't have to figure things out on your own anymore. We're a family."
Olivia blushed a little as she looked at him. They'd been together for a little while now and married for six months, yet she was still trying to get her head around not being on her own with parenting anymore. Edgar had come into their lives and eventually joined her and Noah's little team, and both of them were extremely happy to have him. He'd just casually stepped into this father figure role and Olivia knew that Noah loved it and really saw him in that light. It warmed her heart really, watching that bond between her two boys that continued to grow day in and day out.
She didn't have to do this alone anymore, and it felt pretty nice.
"I'm still getting used to it, but I'm so grateful…" she then leaned closer, mumbling against his lips; "Okay, I gotta go; but I love you."
Edgar smiled and whispered a quick; "I love you too…" before kissing her deeply. She moaned a little as she slid her free hand up to wind around his neck, and when she felt his tongue slide into her mouth as one of his hands slid to her ass, her knees went slightly weak. When that strong hand gave her ass a firm squeeze, she whimpered a little as she continued kissing him.
She was getting later and later by the minute and she didn't even care. All she could focus on was his hand on her ass and his tongue down her throat. Memories of last night were flashing through her mind once again, and all she could think about was saying "fuck it" and going back to bed with him. If she didn't have a mountain of work to actually do today, she definitely would stay home.
Edgar knew he had to let her go, even if he didn't want to. Her lips were soft and so addicting, and the feeling of her in his arms like this was indescribable. He could already feel his body responding to her kisses and the little whimpers that kept spilling into his mouth, but he knew he had to control himself because they didn't have time to do what he wanted to do - which was carry her right back into that bedroom and lock the door, then sink into bed with her.
He finally - very reluctantly - tugged his lips away from hers, only slightly. His head was pressed against hers and his lips brushed hers as he whispered; "Baby, you need to go...now."
It took a moment for Olivia's brain to fully register what was happening. His kisses were so intoxicating and his hand on her ass was sending her into a new realm, so she was in a daze for a moment as she tried to get her bearings. When she looked back into his warm brown eyes and it clicked what he had just said, she pulled back just a little while pouting; "I don't want to."
Edgar threw his head back and laughed. He reached out and grabbed her bag and her travel mug while speaking again; "Baby, you have a CompStat meeting this morning at nine, remember?."
Olivia groaned and rolled her eyes. Leave it to Edgar to remember her schedule more than she actually did. She glanced at the clock on the stove, only to whine some more when she realized that it was actually quarter til eight now. She'd really been standing in the kitchen making out with her husband for a good fifteen minutes or so and now she had to fight morning rush hour and somehow get to work and a meeting at a decent time.
Edgar walked her to the door, grabbing her keys off the rack along the way. He then slipped all her essentials into her hands before leaning in again; "Call or text when you get to work?"
"I will…" she leaned up some more and kissed him; "I love you."
"I love you too, sweetheart."
He then opened the door for her and she gave a smile as she slipped into the hallway. He watched her until she got to the elevator, then he slipped back inside and closed the door. He already couldn't wait to have her back home again, and as he always did, he silently prayed for her safety as he made his way further down the hall back to their bedroom.
The day seemed to be passing in a blur. Olivia had gone to the precinct first for a few moments to grab files, then headed off to her CompStat meeting. The meeting had gone fairly well, and by eleven, Olivia was making her way back into the precinct. Amanda, Kat, and Fin were all sitting around talking and laughing, leading Olivia to just smirk as she made her way over to them. They joked around for a bit and Fin briefed Olivia on a couple updates regarding cases then handed over a couple files that she'd asked for. Just as she thanked him and had turned to walk into her office, he called after her;
"By the way, something on your desk for you."
She glanced at him with a raised eyebrow before making her way further into the office. Her heart melted and her lips curled into a smile when she caught sight of what was waiting on her desk for her; a dozen in a beautiful glass vase.
She put her bag down and stepped closer to her desk. She pulled the small card from in between the soft red petals then flipped it over to read;
'A dozen roses for you. You are so loved and appreciated. I love you today, tomorrow, and forever. -Edgar'
The blush crept onto her cheeks and she couldn't stop smiling. Sometimes he was just too good to be true. She hadn't had anything quite like this before, and she was loving every single moment of it.
She closed her office door then whipped out her phone. She tapped his name as she sat down and she waited patiently. After a couple rings, the line clicked;
"Hey baby."
She softly bit her lip, then she replied; "My roses are beautiful; thank you."
Her ears were met with a chuckle; "Just needed you to know that you were loved and appreciated, and that you're doing amazing. And...okay so maybe I couldn't stop thinking about last night too, so boom...flowers for my wife."
Olivia smirked to herself. She glanced at the closed door of her office then quietly spoke; "Nice to know I have that effect on you."
"Oh you definitely do."
Olivia opened her mouth to say something else but she noticed Fin coming towards the door. She sighed slightly and said; "I gotta go, baby; I'll call you back later okay? I love you."
"I love you too…" Edgar replied; "One more thing though."
"What's that, my love?"
"Be careful out there. Come home - to Noah and me."
Olivia had to swallow the lump in her throat. To be loved and cared about like this and to finally have some stability to go home to after a long day was the best feeling in the world. She felt so happy and so so lucky.
"I will...I promise."
She rounded off the call and hung up just as Fin poked his head in. A new case, which meant a chilled out Friday was out of the question.
She stood up with her phone and keys, and as she followed Fin to the elevator along with Kat and Amanda, Edgar's words rang in her mind;
'Come home - to Noah and me.'
And that's what she was going to do.
She was going to do what she was meant to do, then she was going home to her family.
Another piece has been completed. Please, leave some reviews and all that. I appreciate you all so much. Stay safe, and wear your mask :)
