Greetings friends.

I feel like I've slacked on the writing. It's been a wild few weeks, but things are settling down now so hopefully I can write a little more for you all. I have a lot of half baked Edson goodies in the vault, so hopefully I can get a few of these one-shots finished to share with you all.

Anyway, in this particular one-shot, Edgar and Olivia have been fighting a little. But of course, after a little fight, there's time to make up.

Enjoy part one of 'Kiss and Make Up', for the Intimate Moments Collection.

Kiss and Make Up - Part One [Intimate Moments Collection]

The tension hung in the air still, a feeling that left Edgar feeling stressed and uneasy. The tension was stemming from a fight that had now started well over twenty-four hours ago, around two o'clock the previous afternoon.

Thursday

Edgar had probably been back from court for about an hour and was well engrossed in paperwork when the door to his office flew open. He looked up quickly, only for confusion to stretch across his features when he saw his wife walk in with a face like thunder.

Though he had an idea of what this was about…

"Baby, what's-"

"You told Stabler to stay away from me?"

Yep. This was exactly what this visit was about. He had made a visit to the Organized Crime Unit earlier, and he and Elliot Stabler may have exchanged a few words before he outright told him to "stay away from his wife". He should have known that Stabler would tell Olivia, and part of him should have known that she would react this way.

He stood up from his desk and walked around to her. He stepped past her and poked his head into the hallway to tell the secretary to let him know if anyone calls for him, then he closed and locked the door. He then turned to his wife, who had a face like thunder still and was standing with her arms folded across her chest.

He took a breath; time to face the music.

"Liv, look I was just looking out for you-"

"By trying to control my friendships?"

"No...I'm not trying to do that…" he tried to take hold of her arm, but she snatched it away; "Look, I just don't want anything to happen. You getting hurt, and IAB calling meetings with you for shit that's happening; none of this was happening until he waltzed back into your life."

"Everything that's happening has to do with a damn case that my squad and his squad happen to be working together," she argued back; "He has nothing to do with any of that and you have no fucking right to tell me who I can and can't talk to."

"I'm not trying to tell you who you can and can't talk to, I'm telling you to watch your back and I"m trying to watch it too, considering IAB is on your ass constantly now that he's back."

"You don't know-"

"Christian Garland is my friend; we talk."

"About me?"

"He's concerned about you too so yeah, he told me to talk some sense into you and-"

"Talk some sense into me?!" her voice grew a little louder, and she snatched her arm away when he reached for her again; "What is that supposed to mean?"

Edgar took a deep breath; he was trying hard not to lose it right now especially at his place of employment, but she was making it difficult. He breathed out then very bluntly responded; "You have a blind spot when it comes to Stabler; we all can see it. So yeah, Christian thinks it's clouding your judgment and frankly so do I!"

"Wow," Olivia let out a laugh of despair as she shook her head; "So now you both think I can't do my job? Yes the shit with Elliot is complicated but it's not clouding my judgment."

"How many more meetings with IAB do you need considering the shit that's already happened earlier this year, in this damn climate when the police already can't be trusted?" he held his hand up when he saw her open her mouth; "Olivia, do you really think he's gonna look out for you? That IAB will give a damn? They'll let your head roll to make an example outta you, so I really think you need to distance yourself. Shit, that's why Garland told you to distance yourself."

"It's complicated-"

"Why?" he was so sick of her saying that. He stepped closer as he glared at her; "Why's it complicated? Because you were partners for so long or because you used to be in love with-"

Slap!

His head whipped to the side and he felt a stinging in his cheek; his wife's hand had collided with his face, no doubt for that comment he was about to make. He took a breath and turned to look at her, only to be interrupted when there was a knock on his office door.

He sighed and went to open it, only to be told by his secretary that he had an important call regarding a client. He thanked her, then looked at Olivia. She was still furious as she pushed past him;

"Fuck you for that comment you were about to make." she muttered before heading out of his office and towards the elevator. Edgar rolled his eyes before closing the door, and he took a much needed deep breath as he rubbed his head.

And he knew then that this little battle was far from over.

The argument had continued after dinner that night and well into the evening, resulting in him sleeping on the couch as he was just so irritated, as was she. They had barely spoken this morning, only a brief 'thank you' when he mentioned he would take Noah to school since she had to leave earlier for work today. They'd barely texted throughout the day either, and he hated it. He hated fighting with her, and he missed her.

It was now evening - Friday evening at that. She had been home for about an hour, long enough to help Noah finish packing a bag before they waved him off for the weekend as Edgar's sister had come down from Connecticut to get him; something that he was extremely excited about since he loved spending time with his Auntie Adeline and Uncle Sam, and his older cousins Lianne and Noelle. After he was gone, Edgar went about starting dinner while Olivia retreated to the bedroom to lock away her badge and gun. The tension was still in the air, with neither of them having a whole lot to say at the moment as the fight had drained them both.

Edgar was about ten minutes into cooking up his pasta dish for them when her voice sounded from behind him;

"I'm still not exactly happy with you getting in my business, or talking to Garland about me behind my back."

His back was to her, which meant she couldn't see him roll his eyes. She was still annoyed clearly, but he refused to fight with her anymore. This had to end now.

"Olivia," he spoke, still not turning around; "I wasn't trying to get in your business. I just need you to look out for yourself and not somebody who only gives a damn about what you can do for him; not actually about you."

A deep sigh was heard, and she spoke up again; "You have no right to lecture me on my friendships though, Edgar; and definitely no right to tell a friend to stay away from me. That's my choice."

Edgar bit back the urge to reply with a smart ass comment, and instead turned the heat down on the stove before turning to look at her; "I'm not lecturing, Liv; I'm just concerned. I know it's your choice; I just want you to be safe - not just for work, but for home too."

His expression had softened some, and beyond the lens of anger, Olivia could see the concern in his eyes. She sighed a bit before stepping closer, and she leaned against the counter;

"I know; I know you do…" her voice was a little calmer now, "It's...um...it's just a complicated situation."

He nodded his head and glanced at the food, then stepped a little closer; "I get that…" he shrugged a bit, his breath ghosting over her face as he looked down at her; "I don't understand the dynamic, but I do know you don't want to fail him, so I hear you. I'll back your play, but I'm gonna have your back too."

Olivia nodded a little and mumbled an adorable sounding "thank you." She then looped a finger into the belt loop on his trousers, tugging him just a little closer. Edgar shuddered a little and turned the heat off on the stove. There was certainly something crackling between the pair now, but he just had one more thing to say first;

"But don't you dare lose what you worked for; not behind something crazy, and for the love of God, please don't get shot at again. That shit scared the hell outta me."

Olivia laughed a little as she stepped as close to him as humanly possible while pulling him to her. Edgar smirked and pressed her up against the counter, resting his hands on either side of her while gazing down at her. "I'm sorry." he quietly spoke. He stroked his finger over her cheek and continued; "And I'm sorry for that comment when you said it was complicated. It wasn't fair."

"No it wasn't...especially when it's not relevant to now; because I am madly in love with you, more than I've ever been with anyone else…" Olivia gave him a proper smile as she draped her arms around his neck, and she brushed her lips against his as she whispered; "I'm sorry too, baby; I'm sorry for being hard headed and fighting with you; you're just trying to look out for me, and I appreciate it."

She then rubbed her fingers over his face; "And I'm sorry for slapping your extremely handsome face; that wasn't nice either."

She then stood on her toes and kissed him, and he wasted no time in kissing her back as he slid his arms around her. He nipped at her lip a little, and his hand slid around to the button on her pants while his lips suddenly began trailing towards her ear. He nipped at her earlobe before whispering;

"Now that we're both sorry, I need to fuck the rest of this attitude out of you."

Olivia whimpered a little, her breath ghosting over his face as she whispered; "Do it."

Things seemed to happen in a quick, passionate frenzy. The kisses were harsh and desperate, and Olivia felt like her head was spinning as tugged his shirt open, sending buttons flying. She heard the button on her jeans pop open and felt the denim being pushed down while his tongue slid down her throat. His pants hit the floor as well, and before long Olivia had whimpered against his lips as he lifted her up onto the counter. He stepped further in between her legs and whispered against her lips;

"Hang on, baby."

Without further warning, he pushed into her, filling her to the hilt with one swift movement. Her teeth sank into his bottom lip as a small moan escaped her lips. She was already wet, so it didn't take her too long to adjust. Once she adjusted, she tugged at his lip and whispered; "I need you."

"I need you too." He mumbled. They started kissing again as he began giving her those deep, powerful strokes. The air around them was electric; their lips remained fused together, tongues battling for some sort of control, as Edgar held her tight against him and gave her everything with each powerful thrust. She whimpered against his lips, her nails dragging down his back as she tried to hold on. Edgar was holding her hips so tightly in a manner that was sure to leave bruises, but neither of them cared as he thrust faster and harder.

The only sounds to be heard was the sound of the cupboards rattling as her back was pressed against them with each thrust, the kissing sounds, their moans and groans, and the sound of flesh slapping against flesh. Eventually he pulled his lips again and buried his face into her neck, where he breathed heavily as he nipped at her flesh.

The feeling in Olivia's stomach was growing stronger; her heart was racing as well, and she felt like she could barely breathe due to the intensity of it all. One of her hands moved to grip the back of his neck while her mother hand moved to grip the edge of the counter.

He tilted her hips just enough to hit that sweet spot as he continued rutting into her. That feeling grew stronger, and her muscles were contracting violently. Edgar nipped at her ear lobe before whispering; "That's it, Liv; let me feel you."

His words sent her over the edge. Her nails dug into him and a squeal echoed through the kitchen as her body shook with release. The powerful orgasm sent him over the edge, and with a couple final thrusts, he was groaning in her ear as he reached his own peak. Olivia's eyes fluttered shut and her head dipped against his shoulder as a warm feeling spread through her. God, she had missed this. She had missed him.

It took a few moments for things to settle down between the pair. Once their hearts slowed and their breathing regulated, they both looked at each other and started laughing as they simply held each other.

Edgar leaned forward and nudged his nose against hers; "We good now?"

Olivia nodded, a small giggle escaping her lips; "I think we are…" she stole a quick kiss, then mumbled; "But...take me to bed...just to be sure." She stole more kisses then pulled back, biting her lip as she gazed at him.

Edgar smirked before suddenly scooping her up into his arms, causing her to squeal with laughter as he carried her to their bedroom. He kicked the door shut and they sank into bed, as frisky squeals of delight filled the air as the two once again fell into another gentle rhythm together, where nothing else mattered but the two of them.

Part One is done. Leave some reviews and all that. I really appreciate you guys supporting my little pieces for this couple. As you can tell, I'm still keeping hope alive when it comes to them lol. Anyway, stay safe and wear your mask :)
