Hi guys. HAPPY SVU PREMIERE DAY.

So I'm back again with another piece of my Intimate Moments Collection. I enjoy writing these pieces, and I know they are few and far between but I promise I'll try to write more.

So, I am here with the third and final part to the piece, 'Loss'. This part focuses on their emotions following the long day; they have a heart to heart conversation that ends with them sweetly making love as they bask in the feelings of being together. After all, they cannot do life without each other.

Enjoy xo

Loss - Part Three [Intimate Moments Collection]

It had been a very long day full of various emotions; too much for anyone to handle for too long. It was for this reason that Edgar was grateful when evening rolled around, and he found himself walking into the Syracuse hotel room he was sharing with his wife. They'd had a lovely afternoon with his sister and her husband, but now, Edgar was just glad to be alone with his wife again.

While Olivia went to remove her make up, Edgar simply changed into some sweats and a t-shirt before making his way to the sliding glass door that led to the balcony of their room. He stepped outside and took a moment to just breathe in the cool, evening air as the sun began setting over Syracuse. He sat himself down on the small sofa, and he leaned back as he looked at the sun. Today had been a lot for so many reasons, so he was truly glad that it was over and that he no longer had thoughts of how this day would go looming over him. It actually went a lot better than expected, and he was proud of himself for seeing it through.

He didn't realize how long he had been sitting on the balcony in silence until the sound of the glass door opening again snapped him from the trance he had slipped into. He looked up, only to see Olivia now standing before him with a small smile on her lips. Her face was free of make-up, her hair was scrapped back into a ponytail, and her black dress had been traded for a pair of NYPD sweats and a plain t-shirt. In her hands were two glasses of bourbon.

"Thought we could both use this." she quietly spoke. He hummed in agreement before moving over a little so she could sit beside him. She sat herself down and handed him a glass, to which he thanked her before taking a small sip.

They sat in a comfortable silence for a few more moments, before he then spoke up; "Can we talk?"

"I was waiting for you to say that" she turned her head to look at him; "I thought I was gonna have to force it out of you eventually, though."

Edgar threw his head back as he laughed; "You're one to talk. I usually have to stare at you until you have no choice but to tell me."

"Well...well we're talking about you, not about me…" she pouted adorably as she really had no comeback; he was actually right about that. Edgar just laughed again and shook his head as he draped his arm along the back of the sofa. Olivia curled up beside him and rested her head against his shoulder while keeping her glass in her hand.

They were silent again for a couple moments, then Edgar spoke; "When your mom died, did you wanna still be mad at her but then realized you couldn't be, because everything you went through with her led you to a certain place - a place where you needed to be?"

Olivia took a breath while nodding her head. She should have known that something of this nature would come up this evening, and if her husband wanted to talk this all out, she was damn sure about to be right here to listen.

"Yeah; I wanted to be angry so much...she had started drinking again and lied to me about it, so truthfully I was initially angry at that…" she paused to take a sip of her drink, then she continued; "But then, I just kept thinking about all I had gone through with her and I wanted to get angry all over again, but...I just couldn't; I couldn't do it. Even if I look back now, I really can't be angry at all with her because honestly, had she not gone through what she had gone through, I can say for sure that I absolutely would not be in SVU. And if I was never in SVU, well then, I guess we all know the subsequent events that would have never happened."

"Would you have even gone into the force?"

"Probably not, come to think of it…." Olivia leaned against him some more, "So, wow...as weird as it is...though I went through a lot of shit with my mother, there's some beauty in the chaos. I think life has a weird way of working out. We may not understand it, but things happen the way they are meant to happen."

"I can agree with that," Edgar nodded his head; "Things in life happen - both good and bad things - but they all lead us on a specific path; a path that leads us to the places we need to be, with the jobs we're meant to have, with the people that are meant to be in our lives."

"Ditto," Olivia agreed before looking up at him; "I'm not too sure if we ever would have met if life had worked out some other way."

"Don't say that, because I certainly was thinking the same thing, and I hate that thought," Edgar turned to look at her then, his eyes locking with hers as he spoke; "The thought of never having a chance to meet you and ultimately love you and Noah - that's weird. I can't imagine it."

"And we can't imagine our lives without you, especially me; I barely fucking remember life before you," she gave him a soft smile, her eyes sparkling in the evening sun; "I love you, I really do, and though we've dealt with some shitty situations, I'm certainly glad that all of it has led me to you."

Edgar chuckled a little as he pulled her into his lap. He kissed her cheek a couple times, then turned his head to kiss her lips briefly before mumbling; "I love you too, my beautiful girl."

Olivia smiled adorably before kissing him again as her arms draped around him some more. Maybe it was the emotion surrounding them, maybe it was the bourbon they'd just drank, but whatever it was, they both had a strong feeling to just succumb to their desires and just be with each other tonight. They needed to connect; mentally and physically.

Edgar pulled away first and put their glasses aside, before standing up with her in his arms. They headed inside, and he didn't even bother shutting the balcony door as he made his way over to their bed. He laid her down first and quickly sank into bed with her, their lips fused together in a passionate embrace. Olivia wrapped her arms around him more, her fingertips brushing down his back until she reached the hem of his t-shirt. She tugged a little, and he sat up for a brief moment in order to whip the shirt over his head and toss it aside. Olivia reached out and ran her hands up his chest until she was holding onto his shoulders again, and she gave him a sweet smile as she gazed at him.

Edgar smiled back before leaning in for another kiss yet again. Before long, all of their clothes ended up in a heap on the floor. Edgar tipped forward and slipped into her as they began making love beneath the crisp sheets of the hotel room bed. There was nothing wild or crazy about this moment; this was all about love and passion, as they once again reminded each other exactly how much they well and truly loved one another, and how grateful they were to have found each other.

The only sound to be heard were the faint sounds of Syracuse in the distance filtering through the open doors, combined with the quiet kissing noises and soft moans and groans as the couple fell deeper into the orgasmic paradise that only they could take each other to. Edgar's back was becoming increasingly covered in reckless scratches as he continued to sweep Olivia up into numerous waves of blinding pleasure. Olivia swore she could feel him in her stomach, and the thought alone caused her muscles to contract. She was having several mini orgasms, all of which were leading her to a huge one that she knew would send her into another dimension. He was hitting the spot that made her body sing and she couldn't get enough.

She let out a soft whimper, her eyes fluttering a little as she whispered in his ear; "I love you."

He pushed a little deeper and a little sharper as he grumbled against her neck; "And I love you...so...so much baby."

She gripped onto his back again as he pushed into her yet again, thrusting repeatedly against that spot which was now causing her body to tremble. The bed was creaking, and the headboard was lightly tapping against the wall. Her muscles were contracting violently, a clear sign of what was about to happen.

She scratched at his back again as she panted against his shoulder; "Fuck...I'm so close baby."

Edgar nipped at her collar once more, now thrusting in and out of her at a rapid pace. He trailed kisses up towards her ear until he whispered; "Cum for me, baby; I got you."

The words and the tone of his voice sent Olivia over the edge; she screamed his name as she fell into an orgasmic paradise. Her muscles contracted violently, to the point where Edgar had to slow down to give her a moment to breathe. He leaned in and kissed her, and she wasted no time in reciprocating the kiss as she clung to him. He began moving slowly, and she gripped onto his back as her body was still sensitive from her own orgasm. He was now desperate to cum inside her; to fully claim her and let her know that she was his - now and forever.

The love making reached new heights in an instant; he was thrusting at a rapid pace as he chased his own orgasm. She was scratching his back yet again while he had one hand on her thigh and the other braced against the headboard as they lay belly to belly. He was fucking her into the mattress now, and she loved it as her body trembled with wave after wave of pleasure. In the process of chasing his own orgasm, he was setting off aftershocks in her body and driving her absolutely crazy.

After a few more sharp thrusts, Edgar was calling out her name as he spilled into her. She whimpered a little, especially as he had just set off yet another orgasm that made her body sing and caused her eyes to roll. He thrust a couple more times before collapsing on top of her, and she clung to him while kissing his neck and shoulder a couple times as they tried to calm down.

It took a few moments of soft kisses and whispered words of love before Edgar finally pushed himself off of her and rolled to her side. Olivia pulled the covers over them more, then shuffled closer to him. Edgar smirked as he wrapped his arms around her more, and she wasted no time in resting her head on his chest.

They were silent for a bit, simply basking in the afterglow of their passionate love making. It was Olivia who broke the silence when she lifted her head, resting her chin on her palm as she spoke; "I'm really proud of you."

Edgar raised an eyebrow, confusion etched across his features; "What did I do?"

"You powered through this day and didn't chicken out," she brushed her fingers over his chest; "I mean, I know you almost bailed this morning, but you really powered on through and now you can move forward; you're a trooper, baby."

Edgar smiled at her sweet words. He had to admit, he had been a little unsure if he was gonna make it through this day when he woke up that morning, but he'd manage to do it and he was proud of that. Still, he couldn't exactly take all the credit himself, and he gave her a sweet look; "I couldn't have done it without you."

"I think you would have."

"No, I don't think I would have…" he reached up to brush some of her hair back; "I mean it when I say that I can't do life without you; you really motivate me to be better and do better, and I love you."

Olivia blushed a little then leaned towards him for a quick kiss. She nipped at his lips a little before smiling, and her eyes sparkled as she quietly spoke.

"I love you too."

I hope you guys enjoyed this piece. Please, leave some reviews. I'm always so glad to be writing this pair and though we will never get the chance to see them on TV, it's fun to write them and explore what could have been. I'll continue writing these as long as you want me to. Thank you all for being so sweet; stay safe out there :) xo
