Hi guys!
I'm back again with more Edson goodies. This is part two of 'I Just Want You'. Our favorite couple navigate the messy period of their fight, but hopefully, they can make things up.
After all, nothing can tear them apart - right?

I Just Want You - Part Two [Intimate Moments Collection]
Neither of them slept well that night.
Olivia kept waking up every hour on the hour; her couch in her office or the NYPD blanket did not compare to her cozy bed or the warm arms of her husband. She had dreamed of him so vividly, to the point where every time she woke up, she was on the verge of tears once more when she remembered that they were fighting and that she was at the precinct sleeping on her couch simply because she didn't want to go home. By the time the sun rose over the city, she decided to get up because at this point, there was no point in going back to sleep, not when she knew her precinct would be full of cops and her squad as soon as they embarked on another day of work.
It was around eight-thirty when she decided to venture home, simply because she knew Edgar was at work and at least right now, she didn't have to face him and run the risk of fighting again. As she was exiting her office with her coat and her phone and keys, she ran right into Fin, who had been coming to say good morning as he figured she had come in early.
However, when he saw her face, he found himself asking right away; "What's wrong?"
"Me and Edgar had a fight," she muttered before sighing a little; "I'm taking the day; I'll see you tomorrow."
She didn't offer any more details and Fin didn't push her, which she was thankful for. He just reassured her that whatever it was, it would work out soon and encouraged her to rest. She thanked him for his words before exiting the precinct, and it was all she could do to quickly get to her car before she was crying again. Once she made it home, she headed straight inside for a shower. Her anxiety was starting to spike as well and she just needed to relax.
After her shower, she slipped on one of his t-shirts and fell into their bed. Exhaustion and anxiety consumed her in an instant and before long, she had fallen asleep as yet another lone tear rolled down her cheek.
Meanwhile across the city at the prestigious law firm, Edgar struggled to focus throughout the morning meeting. He already looked like shit considering he hadn't slept well. Constantly waking up every hour on the hour had taken its toll; his eyes were a little bloodshot and had slight bags under them. He had the biggest cup of coffee in his hand to try and perk him up but that was no match, and he knew exactly what was wrong.
He needed to fix things with his wife, because he couldn't take this anymore.
By nine-thirty, he decided to take the rest of the day off; he told his secretary to cancel his meetings and told his boss that he had a family emergency to attend to. He left the law firm and went straight to the precinct, and before long he had crossed into the Special Victims Squadroom. His brown eyes scanned every inch of the room as he searched for the woman he needed to see.
"She's not here."
He looked up, only to see her loyal sergeant, Fin, walking towards him. He sighed a little and asked; "She on a call?"
"Nah, she's at home," Fin paused for a moment, then he continued; "She told me y'all had a fight."
"Yeah we did, and...yeah I might've fucked up bad…" Edgar rubbed his hand over his beard as he spoke; "Actually, I know I fucked up."
Fin wasn't typically one to get into other people's business, but Edgar had become one of his good friends and it was clear that he needed a little guidance right now. Being that nothing was really going on yet as it was still early, Fin pulled him aside to the break room and shut the door. The two men sat at the table and Fin spoke; "Liv didn't tell me much, so how about you tell me what's up."
Edgar hesitated for a moment before explaining the circumstances of their fight: how he had found the letter from Elliot, and ultimately accused Olivia of hiding it from him, which resulted in her getting angry and leaving. He went on to explain how he felt so conflicted about the letter; the way he knew Olivia so well and yet part of him was still feeling some type of way about finding that letter.
"She's never told me to leave her alone, so I know I fucked up bad…" he finished the story with a deep sigh; "I just...that letter threw me for a loop."
"And that's fair, because if me and Phoebe were in this situation, I would feel some type of way too…" Fin shrugged, then took a moment to gather his thoughts before continuing;
"Look brother, Liv is one of the most loyal people I've ever met; literally from the moment I met her twenty years ago, she's been real. She and Stabler were close, but when he crossed her and left her in the dust, all that shit died. I remember the day she got that letter; she briefly mentioned it, and she said that it didn't matter what was in it, that nothing would change because she's finally settled. I reminded her not to let nobody come in and mess up the life she finally had, and she agreed to it and we went on about our day. She ain't never say nothing else about it so I ain't think about it, and it's obvious she ain't think about it either. You gotta trust her, man; I know her and I know that you and Noah are the most important people in her life. Y'all are her priority and she would never keep something like that from you."
Edgar took in the words from Fin. He knew that Fin was right; Olivia wasn't a devious person. She always had the best intentions and was very honest from the jump, so he knew that she wouldn't have intentionally kept something like this from him. Perhaps he was just feeling out of sorts because it was Elliot Stabler, someone who had once played a very important role in her life and - for a long time - had been the only family she had. Edgar also knew that he and Noah were her top priority now, but he had just been feeling a little weird reading those feelings from another man, feelings that were for the woman he was married to.
He simply nodded his head at Fin's words; "I guess I just felt crazy because...like...I knew how close she and Stabler were, and she always told me about the complex feelings she had for him and all that."
Fin simply grumbled and shook his head; "I watched that arrogant prick string her along for twelve years. When we all thought he wouldn't do her dirty, he went home to his wife and left Liv in the dust. I ain't tell nobody how I held her while she cried about him going back to his wife, and how I told her she needed to let that shit for Elliot go. He played on those feelings that he knew she had, and she didn't have any family so he played on that shit too. When he put his papers in and didn't tell her, I knew for sure he ain't give a damn about her in the first place. When he didn't even call her or send her a damn flower after the abduction, I really knew he never cared about her and she knew it too."
He took a deep breath, then looked at Edgar as he continued; "Olivia always deserved a whole lot better than Elliot could give her, and now she's got it: you and Noah are what she always deserved. That ain't never gon' change."
Edgar nodded, then reached over and shook his hand; "Thank you brother; I really appreciate it. I love her very much; she and Noah...they mean the world to me."
"I know they do, and you mean the world to them, especially to her. I ain't never seen her so happy," Fin chuckled a little; "Now go home, man; go fix that shit. She better not come in here tomorrow in a bad mood, either."
Edgar laughed as he stood up. He thanked Fin once more, before heading further out of the break room and ultimately out of the squad room. He had a plan: pick up flowers, then go home to fix things with the love of his life.
The apartment was quiet when Edgar walked in, but he knew that Olivia was home considering her keys and phone and bag were all on the counter. He locked up their apartment and headed further inside; he hung up his jacket and put his briefcase down, then grabbed the flowers and headed further down the hall towards their bedroom.
When he saw her in their bed, in his shirt while cuddling his pillow, his heart skipped a beat. When he stepped further into the room and saw the tear stains on her face and saw how red and puffy her closed eyes still were, he sighed a little. He needed to fix this...now.
He sat down on the side of the bed and began gently rubbing her arm while whispering to her; "Liv, baby...baby wake up."
It took a few moments before she finally stirred. He knew she had woken up but she still didn't roll over to look at him. Instead, she gripped his pillow tighter, and the exhaustion and sadness was evident in her voice as she spoke; "I don't wanna fight anymore, I can't take it."
His heart cracked at her words. He put the flowers aside and kicked off his shoes before laying down behind her. He slid his arm around her torso and kissed her shoulder, then whispered in her ear; "I'm sorry, Olivia; I am so so sorry, baby."
Maybe it was the sincerity in his voice or maybe it was the deep rich tone, or maybe it was the feeling of his lips on her shoulder and the way his arm squeezed her torso. Whatever it was, Olivia felt the tears well up in her eyes again. She sniffled a little and whispered; "I'm sorry too, babe. You gotta know; I never read it, and I never would've kept something like that from you. Hand over heart, on my mother's grave, I never read that. I forgot and left it in my blazer and...and-"
"Shh...I know, I know…" he kissed her shoulder again; "I know, and I'm sorry for getting upset with you and accusing you. I guess...it was weird; I know how close you and Stabler were, and you always told me about the feelings that used to be there. I just...freaked out."
Olivia was silent for a moment as she tried to get herself together. She then turned onto her back, and she wiped her eyes before looking up at him properly. She reached up and stroked her fingers over her cheek as she spoke again;
"Were there some complex feelings between me and Elliot at one time? Yes, I never kept that from you. But you wanna know something? Time and space and growth is a beautiful thing, because all of which allowed me to not only see that he never cared about me, but also that I deserved better. I always deserved better, and the growth and a lot of time and patience all led me to what I needed and deserved in a partner - you. Edgar, I'm so crazy about you. You make me feel so happy and safe and loved; I can be my true self around you and not walk on eggshells. You're the first man that I allowed myself to fall freely with; to just jump out of that infatuation stage and just fall in love and not worry about the consequences. I want you and I love you, for the rest of my life. You're everything to me, baby; nobody could ever come between that."
Edgar nodded at her words while gazing at her; everything she had just spoken came straight from her heart, which he had always known. He hated that he had allowed his insecurities to cloud his judgment, and he would spend forever making things up to her if he had to. But now, he was glad they could move forward from this and find the common ground again.
He pulled her as close as humanly possible and immediately kissed her, and she wasted no time in wrapping her arms around his neck as she reciprocated the kiss. It wasn't long before she found herself on her back, with Edgar hovering over her as his hands roamed over her body. Her own hands flew to his shirt, her fingers popping each button and fingers dancing across the smooth skin of his chest. She nipped at his lip while pushing the shirt off his shoulders, and he tugged it the rest of the way before tossing it aside. His fingers pushed at the shirt she was wearing, only pulling away from her briefly to tug the shirt off and toss it aside as well. He licked his lips at the sight of the pale blue bra and panty set she was wearing; God, what a vision she was, and he was blessed to lay claim to such a beautiful, amazing woman.
It all happened so fast; their clothes ended up in a heap on the floor, and before long, Edgar was hiking her legs up around him and lining himself up with her entrance. He tipped forward and slipped into her; she gasped and dug her nails into his back, whimpering softly as she tried to adjust to his size. It always took a moment, but he would always kiss her and whisper sweet words, always waiting for her to be comfortable before they proceeded further.
She lifted her head just enough to kiss him, and he wasted no time in reciprocating the kiss as he began thrusting slowly. Her fingers dug into the flesh of his back, and she moaned against his lips as inexplicable, blinding pleasure began racing through her veins. It felt so good to be beneath him like this; this was where she was the safest, wrapped in his strong arms.
Time ticked on; the couple were caught up in the thralls of passion, rolling around beneath the crisp sheets of their marital bed as they recovered from their fight. Olivia ultimately ended up on top, straddling his hips before sinking down onto his lap. Her head fell back, her hair tumbling down her back like a waterfall of brunette ringlets. Edgar's hand slid up her back, his fingertips tenderly brushing her spine as he gazed up at her. The way she tenderly bit her lip, the way her eyes glazed over with lust as she looked at him, the way her body moved as she rolled her hips against him. He wrapped his arms around her more as he leaned up, and before long their lips had met in the middle for a passionate kiss as they lost themselves in each other once more.
Olivia moved her hips faster as she pulled away, panting softly against his mouth. She felt the stir in her lower belly, so she knew exactly what was coming; "Edgar...baby..."
That high pitched raspy tone gave indication as to what was about to happen. He slipped a hand in between them, his fingers dancing rapidly across her swollen clit as he whispered in her ear; "That's it baby, I got you."
She fell over the edge; her muscles were contracting rapidly as she came hard, her body shaking with release. Edgar captured her lips in a passionate kiss while rolling them over once again so that he was on top, but he refrained from thrusting as he wanted to give her a minute to calm down. She was scratching his back and whimpering and shaking, a clear sign that her body was in overload right now and she needed a minute. He was still deep inside her, and esperate to fill her with his seed.
It took a few moments before he was able to start thrusting again, and this time he didn't hold back as he chased his own orgasm. Her mouth was against his shoulder, teeth sinking into his flesh while her nails were digging in his back with each thrust. It wasn't long before he too groaned loudly, falling over the edge with a roar of her name; "Olivia!"
He spilled into her, filling her to the brim with his warm seed. She whimpered at the feeling as another small orgasm washed over her, causing her to tremble with release once more. He slowed his thrusts as they carried on kissing and touching, slowly bringing each other down from the intense high that they'd reached. The only sounds to be heard were heavy breathing and kissing noises as they clung to each other.
Before long, Edgar slipped out of her and rolled to her side. Olivia had a satisfied smile on her face as she shuffled closer, snuggling up to him right away with her head on his chest. He curled his strong arm around her, his fingertips tenderly brushing against her arm as he tilted his head just enough to place a delicate kiss into her hair. They had missed each other tremendously the night before, and they were both glad to be on the same page and be in a good place again.
It was Olivia that lifted her head first. She tenderly traced her fingers over his cheek and over his lip while smiling; "I missed you, honey."
"I missed you too, baby," he gave her his handsome, breathtaking smile; "Let's try not to fight like that again - okay?"
"Yeah, because that was horrible," she giggled softly before snuggling into him, inhaling his scent; "But...I mean...if the makeup sex is gonna be like that…" She trailed off then and smirked, leading Edgar to pull her closer and stroke his finger over her jaw. He then tilted her head up just enough and he leaned in for a sweet kiss. She reciprocated the kiss while wrapping her arms around his torso some more.
And she pulled back just enough, whispering ever so softly against his lips; "I love you, so much."
Edgar gave her a smile, whispering back as he rolled on top of her again;
"I love you too."
Another part is done! Please leave some reviews. I enjoy writing this pair and as I say often, I thank you all for allowing me to entertain you with my thoughts/theories on how this part would be. Shout out to my home girl Tashina who listens to a lot of my Edson ideas. This one's for her. Until next time! :)
