Oliver's alarm rang out again, however this time they were hesitant to get up. Their head still hurt quite a lot and because of how late they got home they hadn't had much sleep. Oliver sat up with a grunt and shut off the alarm.

They sat for a moment still a bit uneasy about what happened last night.

'I don't know if I can handle work today' But Oliver didn't have much of a choice, so they got up collecting any energy they had and got dressed.

On the way to the bus stop Oliver stopped at a convenience store to grab an energy drink figuring it would help them get through the day. They opened the door of one of the large refrigerators that held drinks and picked out a flavor that sounded good. Oliver placed the drink on the counter and began to reach for their wallet when the cashier noticed the Superstar daycare t-shirt they were wearing.

"You work at the pizza plex?" Oliver was caught off guard by the question.

"um, yes I do." The cashier chuckled

"My daughter used to love that place."

"Used too?" Oliver hoped the cashier wouldn't reply by telling them they had passed.

"Yeah we stopped going after one of the animatronics got aggressive and attacked them, they weren't injured or anything but it really scared her." The cashier paused and looked Oliver in the eyes. "I'd be careful if I were you that place has a bad reputation when it comes to incidents."

Oliver wasn't sure how to respond so they simply nodded akwardly and paid for the drink. They were feeling even more anxious about returning to work.

Arriving at the Plex Oliver took a deep breath and walked into the building. They passed through the halls swiftly then scanned their daycare badge and entered through the large wooden doors for the second time.

Sun was standing outside of the doors cleaning, and when they noticed Oliver their smile widened and their rays spun around with joy.

" Oliver! You came back!" Oliver raise their eyebrow at Sun's statement.

" Of course why wouldn't I?"

" Well I thought-" sun drop stopped for a moment fidgeting with their hands. "It's just I figured after last night you wouldn't want to come back, But you're here!" Sun smiled again feeling relieved that they hadn't lost a friend.

"I'm glad to see you too Sundrop." Oliver smiled back, it warmed their heart to know someone was happy to see them. Even though Sun was a robot Oliver could tell that they had feelings and worries.

"well let's get ready for the kids!" Sun said while twirling with excitement. Oliver and Sundrop set out everything for the children's arrival.

One by one the children filed in and rushed to find something to play with. This time Oliver helped at the crafts table, they assisted the kids in making popsicles stick houses. Oliver instructed them to place sticks in a box shape and add layers to make walls, once the kids finished Oliver showed them how to make a roof.

After that they decorated together with glitter and bright colored markers. once they finished Oliver left them to dry and complemented the children on there amazing work. The kids smiled with pride.

This is what made working with kids so rewarding for Oliver, getting to see them smile and have a good time was the best part of the job.

"Who wants to play hide and seek!" Sundrop shouted to the children in the daycare. Soon everybody ran to join the game, Oliver joined in as well. Sun began to explain the rules. " When I start to count to ten you all will need to find hiding spots in the daycare, when you get tagged you are out and will return to this spot. The last person found wins!"

Oliver couldn't remember the last time they played hide and seek, they began to recall all the games they played but we're interrupted by Sun's countdown.

Oliver rushed to find a place to hide, which was quite difficult considering they were an adult and couldn't fit in most hiding spots. They found a spot in the play structure they could hide.

Oliver was found after only a few minutes due to there poor hiding spot. But it made them feel a bit better to return to the starting point and see they weren't the first one out.

Sundrop was quite good at the game, he was finding kids left and right. It was quite impressive. Soon the last kid was found and awarded a decorated cardboard crown with "hide and seek king" scribbled on the front. Then Naptime began.

Oliver helped set out the mats like last time and tucked the children in. Oliver wanted to take this opportunity to talk with Sun.

"Sundrop?" Oliver asked while taking a seat in a small plastic chair next to him.

"Yes Sunbeam?"

" We haven't had a chance to chat one on one single last night and I guess I still have some questions."

"Ask away, if we are going to work together I want us to be able to trust each other." Sun looked at Oliver with a determined smile, however he was still nervous about what they might ask.

"Well I've heard that you and Moondrop worked together to take care of the kids but now..." Oliver paused, they didn't want to pry or be insensitive but they felt they needed to know what happened. " Now you don't, Moon is a security guard and you handle the children."

'They really went for the complicated questions.' Sundrop thought fidgeting anxiously

'You know you don't need to tell them shit right? Just make something up or change the subject.' Moon remarked.

'Language! besides we need to be honest, we owe it to them.'

' We don't owe them anything, there just another employee that's gonna leave the second they hear the truth.'

' Your wrong! They came back even after last night.'

"Sun?" Oliver interrupted the argument.

" Oh uh, I'm sorry. I spaced out." Sun lied to avoid explaining what actually happened. "it's true that me and Moony worked together, I would watch the kids during play time and Moon would watch them during Naptime. I was too rambunctious for the sleepy kids so Moondrop was added as a second AI to take care of them. For a while it was great, the kids slept well and I had a friend with me always. Moon was amazing at his job and was caring and friendly." Suns rays shrink inwards and he continues in a lower tone. " But something changed, at first he was just more reserved then he became more agressive... Then we had an incident, Moondrop attacked a kid who refused to go to bed. To ovoid something like that happing again I stopped shutting off the lights. He says it was a virus and he's getting better but I'm still really scared it will get worse. I know he didn't mean to hurt you and we are both very sorry." At this point Sun was almost shaking. He was devastated that his best friend became so bitter due to something nether of them could control.
