...
Months would pass, and Radiant Prism performed her job well without failure. Overtime she was becoming more and more known in the western parts of Germany, and eventually the rest of the country would catch wind of her actions, and many people loved her. Of course just as the man from Hamburg had predicted, she did recall overhearing even the public murmur about why is she the only one helping out where as the other respective areas had their own team. However, Radiant Prism was forced to suppress her concerns about the public asking about the same thing over and over, knowing that if she were to ask again like before would result in the same response saying that she doesn't need one. She knew how crime was becoming more and more craftier as time passed, and it was growing to the point that she had to rely more on her cunning wits as she had no doubt that there were others in the shadows who'd study her moves, her actions. The more Radiant Prism worked on her own, the more and more highly independent she grew overtime. However, she still expressed the desire deep down to help support the others stationed in other parts of Germany which was indicated when she had at one point gotten a call for help where Hamburg was having trouble dealing with a difficult criminal. Gustav instead would choose to ignore the call for help and had told her that the western part needed her the most, and the other teams can spare a member or two from Berlin or Munich to help out instead.
'I still don't get why helping others is considered cowardly...'
She wasn't sure if her hunch was right, but she started to feel more and more doubtful of the Commissioner. Dieter was becoming aware of this but didn't say anything until he was sure that Gustav wasn't present or within earshot of hearing the private conversations he would have with the Brave. The murmurs and conversations Radiant Prism would overhear from the public about her lacking a team was becoming more and more frequent, and most of all were expressing fear and concern that she may end up meeting a criminal who could easily defeat her.
This started to become very stressful, yet she was forced to suppress concern for certain topics. There had been a moment when Radiant Prism had the entire office room to herself, with no other humans being around that she was more or less shutting down from having to hide her pain, and despite Dieter would be there to help shake off any troubles that she was going through, she knew that he too was keeping quiet about certain things that she wanted to get off of her mind, yet had no doubt that it was Gustav had possibly threatened to probably fire him if he were to help quell certain questions she needed answers to. A hint of jealousy had also been lingering very slightly when the other parts of Germany contacted Dortmund, and they introduced their entire team units, which afterwards she was able to communicate with some whenever both they, and she herself had any free time.
However like everyone else, they too also expressed concern about her working alone without anyone to help her.
But the only answer she could give them was that it was her Commissioner's decision that she was sufficient enough to deal with all crime in the western parts of Germany alone. She knew that at first, the others were wary that she would be some egotistical show off but did clear up that she was no such thing but did express wanting a team of her own just like everyone else.
When the communication was done, she slumped back into her chair in deep thought. 'Gustav is truly going to be the end of me...'
Another thing Radiant Prism has noticed was that the more criminals she defeated and arrested, the more she was also starting to get more and more banged up, and just recently she had barely managed to capture a troublesome criminal who was erratic and far more difficult than what she had to deal with in the past. They had left her with clipped wings, losing her ability to fly and nearly destroyed her, but did manage to put an end to their attacks and arrest them. It wasn't until about half the remaining day that she was finally fully repaired, but now more than ever deep down that she now wished she had a team of her own so that the more members there were, the more difficult it would be on future criminals where they would not only deal with one, but multiple.
"Radiant Prism? You're all done." The Chief Engineer told her, though knew that something was up. "Are you alright? I've been noticing for the past few months that you've been coming back more and more injured than the last battles."
Looking at the Chief Engineer for a moment, it was where Radiant Prism sighed, slowly sliding down to a sit as she leaned her back against her docking cradle. "I'm not sure, sir... I don't even know if I should say." She told him, not looking at them in the eyes.
"It's about having a team of your own, isn't it?" One of the engineers spoke up.
Jolting slightly at the truth, she was at a loss for words. "H-How'd you-"
"We've been occasionally hearing about it whenever some of us were either on break, or when we had day offs. Even the media would make concerned questions about you working on your own, added we've been seeing you struggle with one criminal after another, each one were obviously becoming a lot more difficult for you since you've been coming in more and more damaged with each confrontation."
Looking away, Radiant Prism frowned. "Tch... I just wish I knew why Gustav won't heed the others' words... The head Commissioners of the other cities' teams... Just what is Gustav waiting for? That I'd eventually fail?"
Everyone were at a loss of words at what she said, and some even cringed at the harsh question that feared might be true, as they themselves wouldn't know what's on Gustav's mind either. As Radiant Prism stood, she then spoke up next. "Sorry, I'm heading to my office, thanks for the repairs." She finished, breaking the silence as she hastily left.
Once she was back in her office, she spent most of the time waiting for her office phone to ring while occupying herself with flipping through criminal records that had been recently added. However, these criminal records were petty, and about 85% of these records were labeled that didn't need her assistance with, while the remaining 15% were instead labeled as 'pending'.
Evening rolled in and knowing it was time for a recharge soon, Radiant Prism decided that she would spend the remainders of her time flying and stretching her wings. Getting up from her seat, she left and made her way down the corridor towards the platform that would allow her to head up to the surface. Once she was out of the base, she took off and changed form, flying high up into the night skies, turning on her anti-collision lights once she reached a certain altitude so that other flying aircraft can see her.
Radiant Prism was mindful to never stray too far from the city, especially after moments of letting herself build up speed to fly faster, she would always slow down and sweep out her wings outwards, turning back around in the direction of the city. Flying fast and feeling the rushing air brush against her frame was an exhilarating feeling, and it also felt like all of her problems would disappear the moment she was high up in the air, yet they weren't gone permanently however... She spent about nearly an hour and a half until finally retreating back down to the city and back into the base to recharge for the night.
However... She had no doubt that whatever Gustav had planned in mind would be catastrophic to the entire western part of Germany... Whatever that may be...
When morning dawned, Radiant Prism couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling and by the time she awakened from recharge, greeted the engineers and made her way out and into her office. She began her shift like normal, waiting for any calls to come in or to hear from Gustav or Dieter respectively on any major cases needing her assistance. Hours would pass, and there was nothing going on at the time being, but when she heard the small doors slide open, she turned in the direction and saw Gustav walk in, stoic as usual.
"I'm having you patrol the city today." He announced.
"You tell me that, but what if I miss a call?" She replied, jabbing her thumb towards her desk phone.
"Dieter and myself can contact you if any calls come in, for now you should start patrol today."
Radiant Prism suppressed her distaste for the Commissioner, but agreed nonetheless as she left the room with the intention of heading out to patrol as ordered.
Once she was out of the base, she began her patrol despite that it was raining out today. While the water didn't bother her, she didn't like it when it was pouring to the point that the rain pelting her frame sounded like white noise. At least she was fortunate that it wasn't storming, otherwise she would've been grounded as she had no idea what the power of nature could do to her systems if she were to be struck while flying, she didn't exactly have the same type of protection commercial airlines would have that would otherwise prevent planes from being shot out of the skies from lightning strikes. She had no doubt that any BP units that worked in places that would have frequent thunderstorms would have such things built into their systems compared to other units that would otherwise have little to no such weather.
As she continued her patrol, keeping an optic out from high above, Radiant Prism was in deep concentration as she carefully scanned down below for anything. When it seemed Dortmund was quiet, she stretched out towards the neighbouring cities and seemingly by sheer luck, she had been going in the south western direction towards Essen, and by the time she reached the city, she spotted a mecha suit going on a rampage. Nonetheless, she gunned her engines and flew towards the direction of the destruction.
"Radiant Prism, there's a news report about a criminal in Essen that needs your immediate attention!" Came Dieter's voice through the communication.
"I'm already on it, I happened to have been going in the direction to investigate the city next." Replied Radiant Prism, her tone being more serious, yet hinted with a thin lace of nervousness.
"Be careful, Radiant Prism." Was the last thing Dieter said before the communication was cut.
...
Once she got closer, Radiant Prism could see that the pilot at the controls wasn't one, but three total criminals. It was also larger than the ones she's encountered thus far which further added to her uneasiness. Something like this... She had no doubt that this would require backup.
"What are you doing standing around for, defeat and arrest the criminals!" Commanded Gustav.
"Gustav, this-" Immediately the Brave dodged an incoming attack, all while Gustav berated her for not paying attention and warned her that she can do this and shouldn't complain. It wasn't that Radiant Prism was complaining, but a trio of criminals throwing all their attacks they've got at her all at once was leaving her no option to attack back. Immediately she brought out her dual handguns, but before she could grip the second, she had been swiped to the ground, the criminals having extended one of the suit's arms. Getting back up, she scanned the area looking for where her secondary handgun went, but was given no time to spot it as she quickly dodged yet another incoming attack, making do with the only handgun she's got. She fired a few shots, but there wasn't any visible damage as her shots seem to ricochet. 'Bullets aren't effective... This isn't good... I might be forced to try and scan for other weak spots if I can find any...' She thought to herself, quickly rolling out of the way of incoming fire.
Sprinting behind buildings to take cover, she would occasionally move cover while trying to keep out of sight this way she could easily find a weak spot while the criminals were trying to find her. She couldn't do this for long otherwise more and more of Essen will be destroyed. She took to the skies with the aid of her thrusters, but didn't change form as she needed to see if there was a weak spot from the back, but that proved to be a no go as she couldn't find anything. What took her off guard was that she believed that one of the criminals spotted her and reacted accordingly. Dodging the first few attacks but it was evident that either the same or another had quick reflexes to retract and attack again. She quickly shielded her head from incoming fire, to which she quickly learned it was meant to stun her as she was grabbed by the leg next, and thrown into a building, the rest of it crashing down on her as she yelped.
Surfacing at the top a few moments later, albeit clearly more dented and parts of her frame were leaking oil, Radiant Prism glanced at herself briefly as she hadn't seen herself this heavily damaged in a while. Not giving up, she attacks again with the only handgun she's got, hoping to go for a stun and search method where she would use the bullets near the optical vision of the suits while using this advantage to find weak spots, but unfortunately that didn't seem to work as she was smashed into the ground before she could even manage to dodge.
'So... Fast...' She coughed to herself in her thoughts, back flipping backwards to avoid another incoming attack, but was clearly staggering as she struggled to keep herself standing.
The more Radiant Prism attempted to fight the criminals, the more and more damaged she was becoming, and it was all recorded on the news. She couldn't hear it clearly but she could faintly tell aside from hearing the harsh rain and the maniacal laughing of her opponents taunting her that the sounds of a helicopter was nearby, recording it all...
She couldn't handle this one on her own... She was going to die if she continued.
"Radiant Prism! Retreat! You can't do this on your own!" Came the worried voice of Dieter.
"Dieter... I can't just leave them to destroy the city as they please...!" Groaned Radiant Prism, dodging another incoming attack, but it was becoming clear her movements were becoming more sluggish.
"The army is on it's way, they saw you were having too much trouble and there's news about them coming to help, but you'll need to retreat!" Another voice, belonging to that of Gustav told her to stay and fight, which she could hear Dieter exclaim that she can't keep fighting, which an argument between the two Commissioners ensued causing the Brave to cut communications. When the army finally arrived, Radiant Prism reluctantly retreated as ordered, taking off for the skies and flying upwards, disappearing into the clouds.
A few minutes later, she flew downwards back towards the large platform, changing form as she landed harshly with a yelp. Her injuries made it hard to land gracefully as her frame ached all over from the fight. Oil dripped from her frame, having been covered in the stuff far more since changing form and fleeing. Limping forward towards the repair bay once the platform descended down to base level, it took a bit more effort to properly dock herself in the docking cradle, letting the engineers work on repairing her. When some of them tried to talk to her, she didn't respond back. Her thoughts were on the fact that she had failed... Failed to defeat the trio of criminals piloting that large mecha suit. There was no doubt in her mind that Gustav was probably going to scold her for failing, and various thoughts would roam her processor of what he could plan on doing.
Yet whatever the case may be, she had no doubt that it was possible he'd want to improve her in any way to get back into confronting crime again with more 'better' results...
Thinking it through, she was fine the way she was, at least that's what she believed. But she couldn't stand the fact that Gustav wanted to improve her, or probably from the fact of what her fellow BP units in the other parts of Germany had told her that Gustav strives to be better than the others and that whatever his motives were, also meant that they can be unpredictable at times.
From her point of view, she wasn't about making herself look good in front of the others... What mattered more was doing her best and stopping crime left and right wherever she went in her patrols.
'No improvements will make me a better or worse unit...' She thought to herself. 'I doubt Gustav believes the fact that we BP units have flaws too, just as humans would... Nothing is ever perfect, as what I heard a citizen once said a month or two ago...' Her optics dimming, she wondered what would the stoic man say about her failure.
Having drifted into her thoughts, she hadn't realised that she had eventually fallen into recharge. By the time she did awaken from her recharge, it was now evening. "Ah, good evening Radiant Prism." A mechanic spoke up. "Sorry to hear what happened back there, but on the bright side we've fixed you right up, also replaced your missing handgun and refilled your ammo." They wondered for a moment. "If I remember correctly, we've finished your repairs about an hour ago from now." Radiant Prism glanced down and did see that she was fully repaired, no longer covered in her own oil and certainly no longer looking dented and near destroyed. She then stepped out of the docking cradle, stretching her arms a bit. "Uh, you might want to head to your office." they spoke up, clearly nervous. "By the time we finished your repairs, Gustav had come in with the intention to speak with you, but we didn't want him to slow our work down so we uhh... Kinda lied that we shut you down despite that you went to sleep on your own accord."
Looking towards the mechanic, she had no doubt that this was it... Still on the thought that Gustav was going to have her be reconstructed with better upgrades to improve her that she recalled hearing him mention throughout the time she'd overhear him have conversations with either Dieter or the Chief Engineer. With a nod, she left for her office as told.
Once she entered, she had just managed to catch a glimpse of Gustav having shut off the screen. No doubt that he was probably speaking with the other superiors of their respective cities. It was when the man told her to take a seat, not even looking at her but listened for her to do so. It was then once she seated herself in her chair but turned to face him, he expressed his disappointment and harshly told her that she shouldn't have fled even if the situation didn't turn in her favour. Angry, Radiant Prism stood up and explained to him that even if she couldn't, it wasn't wise to take on something far beyond your own capabilities. She then expressed for the longest time that there had been moments where backup was necessary even with some of the past criminals, yet she was even more angrier when he had both refused to provide assistance when the other teams and when she had strongly needed some assistance with some of the more difficult criminals, even when she had trouble dealing with the trio of criminals she had been defeated by. The two argued for the longest time until when Dieter came in, and his presence caused both of them to cease any further words they were about to throw at one another.
"Hmph, very well. Since you've been complaining about it for so long, we may as well show you a secret of ours." Gustav told her, then a single glare at Dieter silently insisting him to follow without a word was understood and both men lead Radiant Prism to a closed off door she recalled seeing that was a little bit further past the repair bay. Once she was inside, she looked around once the lights came on, the two having reappeared from the far upper left catwalk.
"We've kept this area a closely guarded secret." Explained the stoic man. "But since the time had come when you failed... We have, in secret built these BP units over the few months not long after you were brought online seen to your left to aid you, but I felt that you were capable enough on your own. I hadn't seen any reason that you needed a team of your own like the other stationed teams would, as you've already proven to me that you were more than capable of dealing with crime without any assistance." He watched as Radiant Prism was not only shocked, but rather furious that she had been kept in the dark about this the entire time she had first come online, yet what she immediately noticed was that she could see they weren't active at all.
"However, the only thing we're missing..." Gustav continued, discreetly pressing another button. "Is that they do not possess super A.I.s, not yet... But we plan on bringing them online if you allow us to copy your super A.I."
Falling silent, the Brave wasn't sure what to do or say. Sure she's let the engineers repair or perform regular checkups on her but Gustav himself wants to get a hold of her super A.I.? She had no doubt it was more or less out of the question...
Whatever Gustav had in mind, it couldn't be good.
She saw Dieter pull him into a hushed conversation, and becoming curious, she needed to know what was going on, listening carefully...
As she listened into a bit into the hushed conversation, her optics brightened as she took a step back... She couldn't believe what she was hearing added she could see the disagreement on Dieter's expression about such a topic as well. 'Gustav... Wants to get rid of me!? Even after all the times I've... No... That's it.'
"Gustav!" She angrily spoke, her wings flaring completely as she interrupted the two men. "I will not be disposed of just so you could replace me with these units! I know now that you strongly believed that I possessed no flaws until when I was defeated. But I have flaws too like humans would, I don't believe in perfection as such a thing does not exist no matter how hard you try to make something perfect, any and everything will always have flaws no matter what you do! I also have no doubt that these units would also have flaws like myself!" With that, she ran back towards the door, but found that it didn't open upon her approach. She then began pounding her fists at the door, but no dents were visible.
"Those doors are made from the same materials we used to build you. You cannot escape, Radiant Prism. Your usefulness is at an end." Gustav told her, pressing a few commands into the console he was using as large mounted weapons that crackled appeared from the sides of the wall, trained on Radiant Prism.
"Perhaps..." In a quick fluid motion, she dodged the first wave of tazer wires at the same time she brought out one of her handguns, turning her frame sharply and fired a shot upon the console, causing Gustav and Dieter to take cover on the floor covering their ears. With the console completely destroyed, it caused the doors to slide open partially all while the Brave shot both taser turrets, disabling them. Knowing the doors wouldn't open any further, which was more than enough for Radiant Prism to begin prying them open with all she's got. She couldn't risk being trapped in this place nor would she dare allow anyone to get their hands on her Super A.I. and eventually be disposed of. Once she finally pried open the doors wide enough to squeeze through, she ran for the platform, noticing that it was already beginning to rise. 'Damned Gustav must've inputted some commands to try and get it away from me.' She thought, using the aid of her thrusters as she glided towards the platform faster, though wasn't fond of flying let alone gliding indoors, but considering the situation she was in, she couldn't risk obeying the rules at this point.
She just barely managed to clear the gap between the ceiling edge and the side of the platform. 'I can't afford to get stuck, otherwise tha-' She then felt the platform stop, then looked above as the covering was starting to close. 'Damn!' Radiant Prism quickly leapt into the air and flew upwards, managing to clear the top before it closed as she changed form, flying off in the eastern direction. She was finally free, though a part of her ached that with Gustav's decision on wanting to get rid of her, it meant that she could no longer protect the city she so dearly loved. Putting everything behind her was one of the most hardest things she's ever done, but now...
She was on her own...
...
As Radiant Prism continued to fly east, she wondered what she could do. The first thing that came to mind was that she could station herself in either one of the three bases in Germany, but would they welcome her? She had no doubt that Gustav would probably fill their heads with nothing but cunning lies and believe him. She did get along well with some of the other BP units she's spoken from time to time whenever she was in her office, surely they wouldn't think less of her, at least that's what she hoped for, and hoped that it was still the same if they happen to encounter her.
Minutes would past, followed by hours, and soon when the evening rolled in, she was nearing the city of Berlin. She could hear the sound of engines, not belonging to that of any of the passenger aircraft, but rather the sounds were distinct, similar to hers...
"Radiant Prism!" Knowing the voice and whom it belonged to, she was met up with one of the BP members of the Eastern Germany Team who had managed to catch up with her.
"We heard what happened." Both ceasing their movements, but keeping their blinkers on, it was obvious that this was the main leader of the Eastern team himself as the both of them changed form while remaining airborne.
"Redlight?" Radiant Prism spoke, slowly hovering closer to him.
"Yes, and what Gustav has told us, my team refused to believe what has occurred. Instead, we all feared the worst of what he's finally decided on when the news hit about your failure hours ago... My team and I know that you're not the kind of person to go around doing... Whatever Gustav has lied to us." His expression then softened to more of a kind smile. "Knowing Surge and Blazer, they'd be on our side as well and would rather you be spared of whatever madness he might've come up with to try and make us take action. However, I don't think you can stay here in Germany anymore... You need to leave the country."
"Leave... The country?" Radiant Prism repeated slowly, frowning. "But where will I go?"
There was a bit of a pause as Redlight had to think this through, but then an idea came up and knew that this was the best choice for her. "Once you leave the country, Gustav can't do anything to you even if he tries to contact the other countries to try and have them order their own BP units if they have any built to intercept you, but I still would advise caution... Hmm, I would highly recommend flying your way over to Japan." He finally spoke up as he looked towards the eastern direction. "There is a city near the country's capital, called Nanamagari City. If you can make it all the way there, it's where the original Brave Police are based. I have no doubt that they can help you and figure out something. Especially their leader, Deckerd."
"Deckerd? Who's Deckerd?"
Redlight could have sworn that his systems had malfunctioned as he gaped at Radiant Prism's response in disbelief. Though when he recovered from the shock and straightened his composure, he shook his helm with a sigh. "I should've known Gustav would've kept you in the dark about him and the rest of his team." He would go on to explain the original team as best as he could. Radiant Prism listened intently, and in parts of the description about them she was a bit irked that they were far more different than here in Germany, she wasn't expecting them to be more social and outgoing.
But thinking back on it... She's never experienced what it's like to work with a team...
"...That's about all I-" Before he could continue, one of his teammates commed him about that they needed him back at base as Gustav is now in Berlin. "I'll be there shortly." Cutting the communication, he looked back at Radiant Prism. "You need to go now, and stay safe. Before you go, take these." Redlight brought out two canisters of jet fuel and gave them to the Brave. "Might be best for the trip and I had no doubt you may have not had enough time to gather some for yourself when you fled."
"Thank you, Redlight." Radiant Prism took the canisters from the Brave, storing them away, she turned to head east but then Redlight spoke as she paused.
"It's a shame that Gustav had to do something like this... The others and I, our superiors included know that you'd make a fine leader for your own team, had he done the right thing and let you have a team under your command." Said Redlight.
"Honestly, it's not a big deal to me. I was never a leader to begin with even if I may have originally supposed to have been one. Even with the crest we both wear, I've spent my entire time since coming online without a team of my own. I doubt I'll need one of my own." Radiant Prism somewhat smiled, shaking her helm. "If I'm to work with Deckerd if his team does accept me, and provided if I can make the trip all the way to Japan and to the city you've told me to go to, I doubt I'll have need of such a role." She finished, knowing that Redlight seemed sad at her words but did understand.
"I'll be going now, Farewell Redlight. Thanks again... I'm sorry." With that, Radiant Prism changed form and shot in the eastern direction.
Redlight watched Radiant Prism for a moment longer before also changing form and diving back down to Berlin.
...
Days, then weeks would pass as Radiant Prism made her way out of the country, crossing and passing through many others along the way as time went while having to find rural places in said countries away from people she'd stop in to rest or refuel. Fortunately so far nothing had come after her, and for that she was thankful. It was as Redlight had told her, Gustav couldn't do anything once she was out of the country. A part of her had left her curious about what would it be like if she met other BP teams in their respective countries, but she sadly couldn't stop to see and find out. She had managed to make it into the southern most part of Russia, having spotted the signs down below indicating the country's language. However, she found herself facing a problem. While she had finished the first canister given to her by Redlight, she began to worry about that she was nearly out of the second canister she had been using throughout the trip despite drinking them minimally to conserve as much as possible in her travels. She had no doubt that if she were to make a stop somewhere to refuel, it was possible that whatever country she chooses to stop into and ask for a refuel, they'd either not let her added with the language barrier or she'd be mostly shooed away. A thought ran through her mind as she shuddered at the last resort that came to mind that she might be forced to do...
No, she just can't... She's a police officer...
Police officers don't steal...
Radiant Prism grew more and more worried as she continued, yet she knew that such a thing would leave her no choice. It was now going to the point of that she either grabs a fuel canister or two along the way if she can find any which meant that she was stealing, or she runs out of fuel and goes offline, never making it to Japan as she planned to head to on Redlight's advice. Being at the eastern southern part of Russia relatively close to Kazakhstan, she decided to descend so she'd camp out somewhere in the forests for the night, having found herself a place far away from any towns or cities, even from small rural towns as she couldn't afford to be seen by anyone, she made some mental notes and reminders about what she'd do when dawn comes.
She wasn't sure how far she was or how much is left until she reached Japan, but she kept reminding herself to keep going east.
When dawn finally hit, she continued in her travels as she had her mind set on taking a canister or two when the need for it was necessary, all while leaving empty ones she previously had behind. Such a thing she was doing disgusted her, and couldn't wait to finally get to her destination. Radiant Prism kept her travels long and kept consumption to a minimum as best as she could, but knew when and where to stop should she need to rest up or get more fuel canisters.
More days and weeks passed, and she was now somewhere in the central part of China. Radiant Prism had been flying high into the skies riding tailwinds in which traveling was far more faster and quicker than compared to being relatively low, having remembered reading about it in a magazine. Not only was feeling the breeze against her frame wonderful, but going fast was just as exhilarating.
Radiant Prism's wings were currently swept close to her frame as she was allowing herself to go at her maximum mach speed as she rode the tailwind. Of course she made sure to keep her visuals peeled for if she was nearing any planes that might be in her way and would act accordingly to avoid colliding with them. She found that after a few hours have passed, the more she was nearing the eastern part of the large country, the more planes she could see littering the skies from below and above which meant she had to be much more careful when traveling as to not collide with any oncoming traffic. She thought that she would never actually see air traffic, but with what she could see from afar, it was no doubt that she was entering very busy skies. She began to slow her speed, taking extra caution as her wings slowly swept outwards so that she would have more control of her moments, making sure that she was detected by other aircraft so they knew where she was, and to allow their TCAS and her own to react accordingly. Looking all around briefly, she was delighted to see so many planes high up in the skies as she considered the sight to be beautiful compared to the ones parked on the ground in the airports.
'I wonder if I'm close to Japan yet... Maybe some of these planes are going there?' She thought, wondering if she should follow some that too were heading east, but at the same time she wasn't fully certain if it was such a good idea.
After giving more thought into the matter, she felt that perhaps it might be unwise to follow one of these planes, as it was a possibility that most of these planes were probably not exactly heading in the direction of Japan though a part of her had wished she had the ability to know which one was heading to the country.
Hours later, Radiant Prism found that she was reaching the edge of China, spotting the East China Sea as she knew that she was on the right track. Her visuals gazing off to the left, she could see two small bits of land in the distance. She knew that one of them would be Japan and knowing that her long, painful travel was finally coming to an end.
The Brave turned more north east, she couldn't stop now and getting herself back down on land would be a nice stretch for her joints.
