Hi again readers... welcome to the next part! This was originally stitched with the last chapter, but I separated it. Again, like last chapter, this was also one of the original pieces I wrote with some tweaks here and there. Mostly what changed is that I wrote a different ending from what I drafted about two plus years ago. I really hope this makes sense. Again, if I don't like where it's at, please don't be surprised if you read this in a different spot in the future.
I don't have anything more to say until after, so see you below! Here is the temporary chapter 7.

Chapter ?: New Life In White
He felt tired, the long night from the heist must have made him feel this way. There was no way he was getting up even if anyone bothered him for school. So he tried to fall back asleep and enter the world of dreams once more. But something prevented this from happening, a bunch of murmurs and whispers revolved all around him. Something wasn't right. Did he fall asleep in class? No, that can't be since what he felt underneath him was soft and he didn't feel a cold hard desk under his face. Though he did feel what felt like grass, so did he collapse in the park? If so, was he himself or in his disguise? Most likely his disguise or himself, since there weren't any sounds of sirens. But wait… there was no heist and the full moon was last week. So where was he and who was around him?
Slowly, he opened his eyes to find he was in what looked like a house made of grass and straw. It looked small and reminded him of a small one room hut seen in children books about islands. Then he got up, but his balance felt strange, he wasn't sure why. It was as if his vision was skewed somehow, but he wasn't able to place how. Looking around some more, he observed every detail about this little hut and hoping to find the source of the whispering.
The hut was small and pretty much bare. Looking around where he stood, a soft bed of hay and grass was underneath his feet. The roof was rounded and supported with wooden logs to prevent collapse, around him were walls made of mud and clay with grass and hay mixed in. There were two circle windows that didn't provide much of a view, all that could be seen was a tree trunk in one and what possibly was another nearby hut in another. This told him, wherever he was, this was a small close knit village. At his feet is when he noticed for the first time, these weren't feet… well, they were but they were paws and a furry coat of white fur. He then looked around at himself noting that he had blue streaks in some areas and was able to look at his nose, it was a snout.
Externally, he remained calm, but internally, thoughts were racing a mile a minute. 'How had he transformed? What happened? Why does he have a memory gap? Come to think of it, why can't he remember some things?'
As all these thoughts raced in his mind, a fox like creature with black fur and red stripes walked in, this creature simply smiled bright and spoke, "Oh good, you're awake! When we found you in the forest, we were so worried it was one of our comrades, but we've never seen you before, still we Zoura need to help out each other, we're all family after all."
The kind smile on the creature now known as Zoura was so sweet, an expression that felt off on it's face for some reason. But there were bigger questions at the moment and he wanted answers, still he needed to play it safe and ask a little at a time.
"If I can ask, what's you name and just where am I?"
"Oh, you're in our village in the Illusory Forest, a place where many Zoura and Zoroark come from. But not everyone, since we have family living the other regions and continents. As for my name, I'm Trixie, Trix for short. So if I could ask back, what's your name and why do you still have your illusions up?"
"My name is Kaito."
"Kai-to? What a weird name." She snickered.
"It is not!" Patience Kaito, be a gentleman, "By the way, what do you mean my illusions?"
Trix tilts her head to the side, giving him a look that said 'Really? You don't know?' Kaito shook his head. Then all of a sudden, Trix bites his tail - which he just realized he had - and jumped up. By the time he falls down to the ground, his fur becomes the same color as Trix's fur, white fur becoming black and blue rings becoming red. She laughed a little at his reactions.
"What was that for!?" As he instinctively rubbed his tail.
"Well, you clearly don't seem to be aware of your illusions. Do you have trouble controlling them?"
"I honestly have no idea what you're talking about."
"What?! How could you not know? Were you raised in a cave all your life or something? You're really strange Pokémon to not know."
Kaito was unsure of what Trixie meant. Was whatever he had become suppose to be a natural at using this illusion skill? Then he thought about the other thing she said. "Wait, I'm sorry… but what's a Pokémon?" He regretted saying that.
Out of nowhere, a bunch of others looking similar to Trixie were all around him. Where had they all come from? Each one shocked and crowding Kaito looking him every which way over. Each bombarding the poor boy with question after question, mostly about not knowing what a Pokémon was and if he was raised in isolation and many more. Poor Kaito was so overwhelmed with all these questions, his perfect poker face was about to crack - not like it was cracked already from the tail biting. But all stopped and stepped back, Kaito wasn't exactly sure why until he saw a taller creature that looked similar to Trixie's kind. This must be a Zoroark, the creature… er… Pokémon that Trixie mentioned earlier. Also by the looks of it, the creature looked like an elder. Kaito mused.
Trixie went forward toward the Zoroark, "Elder Zora!" Kaito got his answer now, definitely an elder. "This Zorura has spoken some strange worlds and he is unaware of both our kind and who we are as a whole."
The Elder Zoroark who he now knew as Elder Zora looked intensely at Trixie then slowly approached Kaito, scrutinizing every detail from his look down to his paws. Finally he looked the boy in the eyes, which Kaito looked back at with an intense and sly stare. Elder Zora got up and turned back, commanding him, "Young one, follow!"
Kaito blinked at these words, this elder was asking him to come? Well, it wasn't like he had anywhere else to be, besides, the elder could give him some valuable information if he played his cards right. So, he followed.
It had been a little while since they walked through the forest, neither spoke a word to each other. Kaito was observing his surroundings, this forest was something else. It felt so dark at its tree tops but was illuminated in lights of various flowers and fungi, this illusory forest was more like a dreamy one. The different creatures he saw along the way were all fascinating, there were plant like ones, giant bugs, and even a few that looked like aquatic creatures. No, he had to stop saying creatures and say Pokémon since that is what they seemed to be called.
Elder Zora never turned back, simply pressing forward as Kaito was mesmerized by the beauty of the forest. After the long walk and for Kaito, a scenic and educational trip, they came to a cleaning with a single hut outside. Kaito was impressed by the place, it was simple yet felt homely from the outside. Elder Zora sat on a log just outside the hut and told Kaito to sit in front, he obeyed, sitting down after a few inches further from the Elder so he could be seen.
Elder Zora sighed, then began to speak, "Young Kaito, you have been raised in a place where you have never met a Pokémon or our kind before. Correct?" Kaito nodded, though the world Pokémon did have a nagging sense of familiarity. He wasn't sure why though.
"Then let me tell you a tale. This was given to us so long ago and passed down from my elders who told us the stories from childhood. It is our responsibility to pass on the tales, and as a elder grandmother to my village, I do the same." He nods again, allowing for her to start her tale.
"It began long ago, in the days of old. Pokémon were wild and their actions all dark. There were so many who wanted to prove their strength and others who wanted to destroy. Then there were few groups who sought the use of the Legendary Pokémon of old to ally them and prove their dominance over the world. But they could not do so unless they retrieved the jewels, orbs, gems, or whatever objects that granted the holder their powers and permissions."
Kaito pondered on that a bit, thinking back to his own experience. These objects sounded dangerous.
"A group from long ago were able to stop this from happening. They hid the jewels all around or disguised them as unwanted ordinary objects for common use. This protected them and those with selfish desires were not able to track them down. So peace reigned for a long time. But to our kind, we were left a message of warning. A Xatu from another continent came to us with a vision of the distant future. His word were 'If the balance the world were to be upset once more, a chosen few will be called upon to defend the world again. Though their objectives may differ and despite being scattered, they all work toward the same goal. For your village, one day a Zorua will appear in white who will know nothing. You must guide this one and prepare them for their mission. They must retrieve the jewels and relocate them as those of old had done before.'"
Kaito blinked, then he thought on this tale. This Zoroark knew about him from a vision from long ago, passed down from the generations before? He was meant to be here as the "Pokémon" he became? But how did he get there in the first pale? He can't remember agreeing to anything, and if he did, why had he forgotten?
Elder Zora spoke once more, "I am quite sure you have a lot of questions. I too have just as many, but I want to confirm just who you are."
"Oh-kay?" What did Elder Zora mean by this?
"You are not and have never been a Pokémon, am I correct?"
Kaito kept his cool seeing as the Elder was being upfront and genuine with him, it was best if he did the same. "No, I have never been, until now that is. I don't know if you know about them, but I am a hu…"
"A human." The Elder finished.
His eyes widened with surprise at the slight revelation of the Elder knowing what a human is, "So I take it there are humans in this world then?" If so, why hadn't he come to this world as himself?
The Elder's eyes grew soft, then spoke, "I would love to assure you of such things, but the human population here could be long gone. If there were any still around, they are in a place we cannot reach or not allowed to go to. Eons ago, the legendaries separated our world from theirs to maintain peace in the overpopulated world. Some humans decided to stay here while many separated into other worlds. The same can be said for us, some stayed with the humans while others remained here. Or so the legends of old go. If they are the truth or not, only the originals will know the answer."
"I see, so I'm here as a Pokémon since that's the world's population." That was quite a lot to unpack and there were many questions still, but the biggest one of all was his presence here. From everything he heard, it almost sounds like he was called here to be a thief. But instead of returning it, he was hiding the objects that could bring about chaos.
The Elder than spoke, "Young Kaito, your presence may have been foreseen, but I can tell you have much to ponder." He nodded. "I have no idea how you're able to do as the vision has said, but we will do our part and train you. That is, if you are willing to stay and learn."
Kaito thought about it, this situation was strange. Maybe it was all a dream, he'd wake up in his bedroom and he'd be back to juggling school and heists. But even if this was a realistic dream with real pain, he felt a sense of responsibility for what he just heard. He didn't want anyone to fall at the hands of the corrupt all because of a jewel, gem, or any object that was said to bring immense power and unimaginable realities. He didn't want anyone to lose those precious to them, just like he and his mother had. Pandora would have to wait awhile longer, he would help the people… Pokémon out and continue to keep the peace.
"Elder Zora, back in my world, I am a magician who creates grand illusions of wonder and awe. When I preform, I have one a rule I stand by. 'No one gets hurt.' Since I've been called here to help hide these objects, I want to abide by this rule and make sure no one gets hurt. In this world or my own, my rule will remain unbroken."
The elder smiled, "So this is why you've become a Zoura. You're a master of illusions and grand feats. So this form will be using the best of your abilities. Young Kaito, until the day you are finally ready to take on your task, we will all teach you well."
"Haii, Elder Zora-Sensei!"

Kaito stayed in the Illusory Forest for several weeks learning attacks, honing on his skills, and mastering his abilities. He was able to manage his illusions to be perceived as both as scenery, objects, and the Pokémon around. He also learned their habits, their mannerisms, and with the Elder Grandmother's help, learned the ways of Pokémon and the Zoura kind. He even did well in battle, tackling the nearby dungeons and breezing right through them. His progress was so great that it even surpassed what a fully evolved Zoroark could accomplish. Finally, there was nothing more to teach.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." Kaito said sadly.
"You really made progress since you came, even surpassing me. There is nothing more for you to learn here. You're ready."
"Thank you Sensei."
"It is still strange you call me Sensei, but as you said, that is how you respect a teacher in your world. Strange, but not bad. I may adapt it into our village way in the future." Kaito cheekily smiles at the Elder's comment. Then he noticed Trix behind the elder.
"You're leaving already, huh?" Trix looked down a little.
"Yeah, I have a mission, and I need to set out and accomplish it."
"I… Well… We… we want to give you this before you go. We all made it for you." Trix hands Kaito a miniature plush doll that looked like him but in his Kaito Kid attire with his white and blue fur illusion. Kaito was in awe of this.
"We saw you when you were practicing your illusions, you had all these fancy looking accessories. From the cape, to the half side of a spectacle, and the hat. We all liked the outfit so much that we pitched in to make this doll so you can be reminded of us. We also made a couple more, something for us to be reminded of you too."
Kaito brought Trix into a hug, then going behind her ear, like magic, he pulled out a yellow flower from behind giving it to her. "Your tricks never cease to amaze me, Kaito."
"As they should, a good Magician keeps the audience in wonder."
With his bag all packed, he looked one last time at everyone in the village, they all waged their tales and paws saying goodbye. He waved goodbye back and using his illusions, he disappeared like his magic tricks, gone without a trace. Trix stared longly at the spot where he just was, wishing he was with them a little longer. When he wasn't training, he would always spend time with all the Zoura and her. She admired his outgoing personality and was charmed by stories of his great feats as a human. He had many adventures and she wanted to
Trix turned to Elder Zora, "I'll miss him."
"We all will, but you a little less."
"Huh?"
"I want you to go with him Trix, as much as he has learned here, he still needs a guide out there."
"But he's gone! How…."
"I'm sure you'll find him, go now, take this bag I packed for you and go after him. Help him out in tight spots Trixie and guide him well. He will need your assistance more than you know."
Trixies eyes sparkled, she nodded, took the bag and ran after Kaito. Ready to accompany him on his quest.
She ran and ran until she found him, "Kaitooooo!"
"Huh? Trix?!"
"Elder Zora sent me your way, I'm to accompany you from now on. We're partners!"
"But wha?"
"Don't but, wha, me. We're partners now on this quest. You may be good with your skills, but that doesn't mean you'll be familiar with everything. I'll be the guide where you lack some knowledge. You can't complain since Elder Zora's word is final." She smiled with a toothy grin.
"Well then Trix, I appreciate the company."
Both smiled at one another and walked away from Illusory Forest, ready to tackle whatever the world was to throw at them.

Well, what did you think? Kaito's arrival is a bit different from Conan/Shinichi's huh? So let's go over some things:
Kaito is just coming out of sleep and you probably noticed he never mentions anyone from his past, Not Aoko, or Hakuba Saguru, Jii-san, his mom, or anyone. It's all just general. That's because he has a more selective memory loss/amnesia than our Little Pip. He can't remember people in his life. Events, information, knowledge, childhood memories, he can go to town. People, no dice.
Originally, I was going to have Kaito become a rare shiny with the blue streaks, but instead of black fur, he has white. Then I thought, it may make more sense that was part of his illusion. That when others perceive him, he is seen as the Moonlight Kaitou clothed in white. So when he's in public, he is either seen as a plain Zoura or masquerading as other Pokémon to drive attention away from him.
Trix, A.K.A. Trixie, she's always been in the story but I thought last minute to add her to Kaito's adventure. She's basically the replacement for Jii-san. Besides, Kaito isn't going to last with certain finny water types in Mystery Dungeons *cough* fish looking ones *cough*, so Trix will be there to assist with his fears. Works out right? Just to add a little fact, he is only scared of fish, not all aquatic animals. I use the example from The Blush Mermaid Heist (Episode 724-725 / Manga 828-830) where the jewel necklace was attached to the Turtle's shell and he dealt with it just fine.
Also yea, I did skip their development into how they get along over the few weeks, mostly want to save that for possible flash backs if necessary to the story.
This is the last pre-written chapter. I don't have any more written, so it will definitely be awhile before the update. I'll try to keep in within a month's time, but no promises.
That's about all I have say about the chapters, if there's anything I didn't explain well, feel free to let me know or ask. Well, Thank-Q for reading, and Thank-Q again to all those who liked and favored the story. I really appreciate it!
See you whenever it's the next chapter...!
