Chapter 7: E Class Action!

Maehara: Probably one of the best things about making the series was the action that we had to do.

Toka: Oh definitely, that was such a blast to do.

Kaede: The best part was most of it we did it, the fights and the stunts while of course we did have a few stunt doubles for some risky scenes, for us to have this much fun doing all the hardcore action was a special treat.

Director: And ACTION!

Compilations are then shown of some of the stunts shown from the anime such as the students jumping through roofs of houses, flying on water jetpacks during the island assassination attempt of Koro Sensei, Class Civil War, and many more. We are then shown the behind the scenes of how it was all done. From Special Effects, to Green Screens, to Stunts and Choreography.

Kaede: Most of the stunts took a lot of practice and working out as well as practicing while attached to some strings around us to maintain balance but as well keeping us safe. It was still a hassle and was a bit stressful at times.

Okajima: We actually didn't fly through house roofs; we actually got a few special effects people to design house roofs and with the work of green screen we were able to create well the scene. First two attempts were a bit difficult but by the third try, we nailed it which the director was so impressed with.

Nagisa: Probably the most we did with green screen was the exam battles; how it was pictured to be on a battlefield and we were battling these monsters that were based on the school subjects.

Rio: But it was definitely the most fun, having those gigantic weapons which were actually light and flying around like the Survey Corps from Attack on Titan. Gotta give credit to Karma for contacting his colleagues from Toho to help create the monsters.

Okuda: One cool thing no one knew until now was the monsters that were in the battlefield was Karma, Terasaka, and Ryushi since all three have tried out heavy suits.

Footage is then shown of the two students and teacher trying the suits with Karma teaching both Terasaka and Ryushi how to move around the suits considering his time filming Shin Godzilla. Even Toho gave permission to Karma for borrowing the Shin Godzilla suit to demonstrate how to work a Kaiju suit. The class was in complete stun when their red-haired friend showed up in full suit.

Ritsu: Oh. My. Godzilla.

Maehara: No *BEEP* Way! Karma is that you?!

Karma: Yep, Toho gave me permission to show you guys the suit from Shin Godzilla and to show these two rookies how to work a suit.

Hazama: Okay, that is Badass! I need to get a picture of this.

Karma: Teach, Terasaka, I'm gonna be showing you guys how to use a full-on suit to prepare our scenes for the battlefield.

Ryushi: Can you even breathe or see from there?

Karma: Sure can! And it's very easy to move around as well. *Demonstrates moving alongside the suit* Rawr

The entire class laughs but remain in amazement as to how Karma can handle such a big heavy suit that not many people could handle. Footage is then shown Karma, Terasaka, and Ryushi finally wearing the suits and wreaking havoc across a small built dome to create the scenes of E Class fighting giants during the exams.

Ryushi: It was fun but at the same time exhausting because unlike Koro Sensei suit, it's heavy and much thicker inside. To put it this way, it was a hassle.

Terasaka: Yeah, no kidding, like once we took break or we were done we just felt so stiff it makes me wonder how on earth was Karma able to handle it with ease.

Karma: Lots of practices and strength my dude. First few times I would get overheated inside that I had to call for help and lots of water. So, I decided to test my limit and get better which I took inspiration from Harou Nakajima who first played Godzilla in 1954 and now being inside the suit is easy as pie.

Terasaka and Ryushi: Easy for you to say.

Kanzaki: Possibly the most physical of the action was combat to take hits and as well for fighting. Thankfully we had three amazing people who helped us become very well with that.

The cast all have their eyes looking at Maehara, Okano, and Karasuma. Who needed choreographers when you had these three skilled talented people who were a big help in teaching the class when it came to the most physical action of the series. Despite not much action happening in Season 1, there was plenty around in Season 2 from Reaper Time, to Class War Arc, and many more. Footages is then shown of Karasuma teaching combat skills and punches to a few students while Okano and Maehara were teaching the rest on athletic skillful sets as well as use of weapons.

Karasuma: The Producers came to me and were asking me, "Hey Tadaomi, do you know any good combat skills? Do you think you can train the kids how to do combat with filming for Season 2 starting soon?" I said I be glad to do it and I was really impressed with how fast you guys learned to take hits and fight back as well.

The next footage shown was Karasuma teaching both Karma and Nagisa their fighting techniques while on break as the series was making Karma the aggressive juggernaut type and Nagisa as the agile, skillful, submission type of fighter. With safety guards around them, the fighting practices were topped off well despite a few botches but when it was time to film the epic battle, it was a WrestleMania type of fight between the two best friends. As the director shouted "Action!", everyone watched how the fight would turn out and once the words "Cut!" it was nothing but round of applauses.

Fuwa: Crazy thing about this fight to me is that it's not the full version since these two assassins fought longer than the time limit. *giggles*

Nagisa: I was never much of a fighter but I can't thank you enough for the hard training you gave me. It filled me with so much strength, adrenaline, and motivation.

Karma: For me, you made me into a much better more prepared type of fighter when we trained and filmed it cause before, I was all Punch and Strike. So, you teaching us these great, helpful techniques was really amazing and like Nagisa said, we couldn't thank you enough Tadaomi.

Sugaya: Probably another thing you taught us so well was taking some hard hits because there were a few times in the show where we needed to take a hard hit.

Sugino: Yep, most of what the fans saw weren't actually hard hits since they had camera angles and the use of modern sound technology like the slap that gave to Kanzaki despite that he's actually a NJPW Wrestler.

Kanzaki: A sweet guy too with all of us, I always get a small laugh when he would apologize to Maehara before and after the knee strike he gave him to the stomach.

Maehara: We were just learning how to take hard hits and since that was the first one for me, it hurt like a motherf***er so bad. *laughs* But props to both him and Karasuma for teaching us well on that not to mention since he's a wrestler, he makes it look easy when playing a good guy or bad guy.

Kaede: Reminds me of when I was struck as well in the guts by the Reaper but he didn't know I was gonna sell the strike realistically so when it happened and I was on the ground holding my stomach, he went into panic mode. *giggles* He was nonstop apologizing to me even though I told him I was fine. Still Speaking of Maehara AND Okano as well, you guys sure taught us some sick moves that made us like ninjas. *giggles*

Kataoka: Don't you two own like a choreographer place where you teach dance moves and something similar to what you taught us?

Okano: Mhm! We just reopened I think 6 months ago because of the pandemic and we didn't think every week the place would be blowing up.

Maehara: As Kingpin once said, Business is Booming!

Kaede: No kidding, you guys were awesome training us with those skillful acrobatic stunts.

Mimura: I'm surprised you haven't been casted as Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen.

The class gives a good laugh at the skillful couple as footage is shown of behind-the-scenes training of Okano and Maehara help the cast with the stunts as shown in the series. There were some failed attempts but it was all good laugh such as Itona failing to land which caused concern at first but easily got up like nothing happened which gave a good laugh. There were some even too good stunts that left people jaw dropped such as Okuda of ALL People jumping from one rock and landing onto the ground in a Spiderman like pose. It was too good enough for Karma to be bragging about how amazing his girlfriend is. The two athletic couple discussed as more footages of the stunts taught by them was being shown,

Okano: Maehara was in gymnastics while I was in Cheer back in while back before meeting all of you guys and we would practice with each other when school competitions were happening.

Maehara: So, when they told us there was going to be a lot of acrobatic type like stunts, we both volunteered in helping you guys prepare what we didn't know was gonna be tons of fun packed action.

As the class continued chatting, they didn't realize their octopus teacher leaving the room to meet with someone in a different room. Once he entered the room, he noticed the person watching footage from the anime when Koro Sensei and Aguri Yukimura first met in Season 2. The person heard Ryushi walk into the room and gave him a beautiful smile.

Aguri: Hi Honey! *smiles*

Ryushi: Hey beautiful.
