I do not own Kim Possible.
They found a building with shelves and shelves of food. The doctors there said they should leave, but left when Red growled and fired up her glow. They scattered through the building and helped themselves to the food, filling their bellies more than ever before.
A bang echoed through the building.
"Show yourself, villains," shouted a man's voice.
Red looked at Helios.
Metis looked at her.
"What do we do?"
"Code Red," whispered Metis.
That meant run, they had taught her that meant run.
"Gotcha!" cried a young voice. Winter yelled.
"Hey! What?"
"Fan out and search the building!" called the doctor.
Red pointed towards where the door was. Her orange glow ignited. "Let's go–"
"Hey! Get back here!" shouted– was that Flare? No, Flare was too small to sound like a doctor.
"Let's go," whispered Metis, and then raised her voice. "Go go go! Code red!"
They ran for the end of the building, the sound of her siblings' grunts and doctors' cries echoing around her. As they turned to face the door, they found not a doctor, but a guard in blue, holding Kicker in the air. Another in purple had hold of Biter.
Red growled. "Put. My. Brothers. Down!"
The guards, including a female she hadn't noticed until now, turned to face her. The woman had green skin, like Flare and her sisters, but there was no time to think about that.
She fired her orange light, and they fell one by one, the smaller red ones by the door falling to the floor. They ran, grabbing the boys as they went, and fleeing to the street. Big-Flare and the purple man were close behind.
The others had already taken to the sky, and she spread her wings to follow. Helios and Metis were close behind, their dark wings shadows against the sky.
Green light – just like Flare's, she was a big version of Flare – flashed through the air. Red dodged some and batted some away with her orange light, but two slammed into Helios's wings and both Metis and Winter took several shots to the chest and wings. All three began to plummet.
"Yellow!" Red shouted. "Help me!"
Yellow turned into a dive, aiming for Winter. Red hesitated – Helios or Metis? – but Helios was closer, so she dove after him. Yellow caught Winter, the two had been closer, but it took longer before Red could get her arms around Helios and begin to pull him upwards. They continued to fall, fast, too fast.
Big-Flare slammed into Metis at the same time as Red managed to finally turn their direction and drag Helios upwards.
"Metis!" he screamed, the sound tearing from him like his heart was breaking. She'd made that noise, when Alarm never–
"Go!" Metis shouted back. "Code red; code red!"
The purple guard tried to grab Red's leg as she rose, but she was high enough now. She flapped her wings and rose into the sky.
Below them, Metis screamed.
