Happy Birthday Xena
"Why did you come here?" Andy asked as she quickly grabbed some laundry that was laying around her living room. It was an off day for a-shift and she hadn't expected any visitors.
Robert tried to hide his smile as he watched her trying to clean up in a matter of seconds. Some things just wouldn't change, she was still chaotic as ever.
"I wanted to ask if everything is okay between us." Robert answered her question. "Yea, everything is great." She threw the clothes in her bedroom, so she didn't have to look at him while she lied.
"Andy, do you... you can sit down, I already know you're messy, no need to hide that." Robert chuckled and Andy finally sat down.
"It's just at work- I thought we were fine but it feels like you are trying to avoid me." He continued.
"I have." She admitted. Robert raised his eyebrows, taken aback by her honesty. "Why?" He asked curious. He couldn't remember having done anything to upset her.
"It- I don't think it would be fair of me to say." She bit her lip. "Try me."
"Robert it's, I know everything is my fault, the divorce and - but ever since I came back to 19 it's just- we... I feel like we became friends again but..." she rubbed her temple, this was not what she had planned for today. To be quite honest she hadn't planned to do this, ever. She knew it wasn't fair to him.
She took a deep breath. "Ugh whatever, I love you Robert. We've spent more time together again and I guess I got reminded of why I fell in love with you in the first place but... I saw you... with chief Ross. I don't want to get in the way of anything and besides that I destroyed everything and I know how hard it was for you to move on but you finally did and me now coming and-" she sighed and wasn't sure where she was going.
Robert who listened to her rant quietly chuckled. "Are you laughing at me now?" Andy asked a little offended. "Just a little. You really think I moved on? Andy... no one can just move on from you."
