The group was walking for a good amount of time, yet Jordan hadn't told them where Dr. Scratchansniff, Hello Nurse, and Mr. Plotz were taken, even though he had an idea where they were.

"Hey, Jordan, not to sound impatient or anything, but I'd like to know where our friends are, please." Dot said.

"Oh, right! Sorry, I'm not a very talkative person. Anyway, while I was passing by the lot witnessing what was happening, I heard one of the guys say that they were gonna take them to an underground complex on the other side of town." Jordan said.

"Did they give an address?" Newt asked.

"Um, I don't know if you've ever learned about this stuff before, but people usually don't give out addresses when they're taking hostages to places." Jordan said.

"It doesn't hurt to ask." Newt said.

"All I know is that only 'underground complex' was said. Unless I didn't catch anything else, but I'm certain that that's all I heard." Jordan said.

"Given what we have to work with, this is gonna be one tough mission." Bobby said.

"When you said 'mission', I immediately thought of Mission: Impossible." Pesto said.

"You mean the one with Tom Cruise?" Squit asked curiously.

Pesto groaned with annoyance. "No, the one with Wayne Gretzky. Yes, I mean the one with Tom Cruise!"

"Okay, okay, sheesh! There's no need to blow a fuse!" Squit said defensively.

"If you don't want me to blow a fuse, then don't be such a scatterbrain!" Pesto said aggressively.

Noticing that Jordan looked nervous, Slappy leaned in and said, "Those two fight all the time. You'll get used to it."

Skippy's stomach rumbled. "I'm hungry. Can we stop somewhere, please?"

"No, we can't stop somewhere! Our friends' safety is on the line!" Dot said.

"But my stomach hurts!" Skippy whined.

Dot relented and pulled out a bag of chips from her hammerspace. "Here's a bag of chips to hold you over."

"Yay! Thanks, Dot!" Skippy said excitedly, grabbing the chips.

"Don't mention it." Dot said.

Skippy opened the bag and started eating. "Mmmm, these are good."

"Try not to make a mess." Slappy said.

"I won't, Aunt Slappy." Skippy said.

Jordan reached into his pocket and pulled out his smartphone. He opened up a web browser and searched 'underground complexes in Burbank'. He scrolled through looking for the correct one.

"You know, people do stupid things all of the time. Why is that?" Newt asked.

"Human nature, I guess. I don't know." Dot said with a shrug.

"Is that supposed to be a trick question?" Bobby asked.

"No, I'm genuinely curious." Newt said.

"You're a genius, you should know." Pesto said.

"Correction; Brain is a genius. I'm one level below him. I'm not quite there yet." Newt said.

"The discussions you and him have together must be off the wall." Squit said.

Jordan put his phone back in his pocket. "Okay, so, I looked up underground complexes and tons of results popped up. Your friends could be at any of 'em for all we know."

"Did they have addresses?" Dot asked.

"Yes, all of them did. I took the time to memorize them so I have them fresh in my brain." Jordan said.

"So, we'll just go to each and every one of them until we find what we're looking for." Bobby said.

"But that'll take forever!" Skippy complained.

"Grow some patience, young Skippy." Bobby said.

"You're gonna need it." Slappy said.

"With all this being said, I assume you guys don't wanna walking around town all day. Fortunately, I'll have my mom take us to each of the areas. She's super chill and laid-back, so it won't be a problem." Jordan said.

"That'll be an advantage." Newt said.

"What kind of car does your mom have, Jordan?" Dot asked.

"A blue Porsche. Why?" Asked Jordan.

"Just wondering." Dot said.

Making their way to an outside patio area, the group stopped to sit down. Their feet was getting tired because of all the walking.

"I'm gonna text my mom now." Jordan said.

"You're not texting anyone." a voice said in a very serious manner.

The group turned the side and saw a guy wearing heavy camouflage outfits with a bazooka pointed straight at them.

"All of you, put in your hands in the air, now! Except you, kid. Don't move a muscle." the guy said, referring to Jordan.

Dot, Newt, the Goodfeathers, Slappy, Skippy, and Jordan were shaking, scared shitless.

"I don't want to hurt any of you, but I have strict orders. Just put your hands in the air and do as I tell you." the guy said, still pointing his bazooka.

Not saying a word, the group put their hands in the air, very slow and steady as they were risking getting shot.

"Now just stay calm, and don't move." the guy said. He loaded his bazooka with tranquilizers and shot Dot, Newt, the Goodfeathers, Slappy, and Skippy with them. They all fell unconscious.

"NO!" Jordan shouted in angst.

"Shhhh, be quiet! You don't want to attract any attention!" the guy said.

Jordan immediately covered his mouth with his hands.

A military-style vehicle pulled up. The guy with the bazooka opened up the back door and hauled Dot, Newt, the Goodfeathers, Slappy, and Skippy in the truck.

"I really am sorry about this, kid." The guy said.

Jordan said nothing. He just scowled angrily.

The bazooka dude got in the truck and drove away.

"Now I really have to text my mom." Jordan told no one. He did exactly that. "Ten people. Ten innocent people taken."

Within a span of a few minutes, a blue Porsche with the top off pulled up.

"I came here as fast as I could." Jordan's mother said.

"I really appreciate you doing this." Jordan said as he got in the car.

"Sure thing, honey! Who are we saving?" Jordan's mother asked.

"Well...it's complicated." Jordan said.

Still at the park, Yakko and Wakko were pretty much basking in the sun.

"Yakko."

"Yeah?" Asked Yakko.

"Why are we still here?" Wakko asked.

"I have no clue." Yakko said.

"Just so you know, I'm not giving up on finding Dot. You shouldn't, either." Wakko said.

"I wasn't planning on it." Yakko said.

"Good." Wakko said.

"In the meantime, where else could Dot be? The only places that she goes to are here, the mall, restaurants, and grocery stores, at least that we know of." Yakko said.

"Don't forget about Minerva's house, she also goes there, too." Wakko said.

"Only on weekends." Yakko said.

"Right, and today's Friday." Wakko said.

"Welp, I hate to say what I'm about to say, since I'm the oldest Warner kid and I have the priority of protecting you and Dot, but-" Yakko started to say, but was interrupted.

"Don't even think about saying let's go home and try again tomorrow, because that's NOT what we're doing!" Wakko said quite seriously.

Yakko was slightly taken aback by his younger brother's tone. "That's exactly what I was gonna say, but never mind, I guess..."

Wakko frowned. "I'm sorry, Yakko. I'm just scared for Dot, that's all."

"It's alright, I am, too. But is it okay with you if we go home and try again tomorrow?" Yakko asked.

"Sure." Wakko said.

"Trust me, I hate having to do that, but we don't have a choice, at least not now." Yakko said.

"I understand." Wakko said with a tired sigh.

"Great. Let's go." Yakko said.

Yakko put his arm around Wakko as they began walking down the pathway to leave the park.

A/N: This chapter was originally supposed to be longer, but it ended up having some last minute changes, so that's why it's shorter than the last. Enjoy!
