~At the Elven Castle~

"He's getting worse." Stated Mikuro looking down at Seto with heavy eyes portraying the sadness that filled them.

Seto looks up at his mother from his paper work, he couldn't help but notice the straining of his mother's voice as she spoke to him. He asked "How bad is it?" trying his hardest to stay strong.

"From the looks of it, he might die if he doesn't get proper treatment soon." She replied with tears flowing down her cheeks. This was her husband, the father of her children, and the Elven King. She couldn't bear the thought of losing both her husband and her beloved son. 'I don't think my heart can take much more.'

Seto walked up to her and gave her a hug, "It'll be ok mom." Seto reassured, doing so by squeezing her tightly as if he was trying to keep her from falling.

"How do you know it will?" she asked crying into her son's shoulder wishing to anyone that her dear Mokuba would be back safe and sound and that her husband would be back to normal.

"I just have a feeling that it will." It wasn't the best answer, but it was the only answer he could give truthfully. He wasn't going to lie to his own mother at a moment like this. 'Not that I ever did lie to her; except when I was younger, I did lie but it was immature petty lies, so they don't really count.' He amusingly thought.

"Thank you, Seto, I feel much better now." She said. "Now, I can go outside and be the true Elven Queen." She stated with confidence. "I know this has to be hard on you. But I hope you won't have to bear with it much longer, now you know firsthand how hard it is being a king."

"It's not all that bad. I was prepared enough in my lessons to handle this kind of work." He did believe that fact. It wasn't really hard, it was just tedious and soaked up time like a sponge to water.

"You might have been taught how to handle it, but to be actually doing it is a whole different story." She worried for Seto as any mother would to her child.

"Yes, yes it is. But I feel that I'm doing relatively well." He stated with a genuine smile.

"Well, you were taught by your father himself, so I hoped you would, one day, but I didn't think that day would be before your twentieth birthday." It was tradition for the firstborn son to be named king after his twentieth birthday, giving the heir two decades of learning.

"At least this gives me an idea of how it's going to be when I do become king." He offered trying to appease his mother and to lessen her worry of the issue.

"Yes, it's good to practice; you can't have too much preparation." She agreed and smiled.

"See, so it's not all that bad now is it?"

She shook her head "No, I guess not."

"Then there is nothing to worry about. Mokuba will come home, father will get better, and everything will be back to the way it was before." He didn't understand how he could say that with true integrity. 'I have a good feeling about all this.'

~At Jono's home~

"Alright, you are now fully healed. How do you feel?" Jono asked, very proud of herself as a healer as she looked at the young elf. 'The funny thing about Nymphs and Elves is that the only physical thing different are the ears. Nymphs had small pointed ears close to the skull while Elves had elongated pointy ears that extended outward from it.'

"I feel super! I don't have any pain at all." Mokuba stated excitedly, jumping up and down and flailing his arms.

"Now that you're healed let's get ready." She was actually excited for this trip, she would get to see a whole other kingdom and experience new things like what they eat how they dress, and how they talk.

He looked at Jono with a questioning stare. "Ready for what?"

She just laughed at his forgetfulness. "To go heal your father, remember?"

"Oh yeah! Silly me! Yeah, I want to show my family that I'm ok and heal dad so big brother doesn't have to be king anymore. It's very stressful being a ruler…" he didn't want his family to worry about him anymore than necessary. Now that he was coming home he knew they would be very happy to see them as much as he would be to them.

"Well, I know you're a prince and all but could you help me out a bit with packing?" She stated in a joking matter.

"Yeah, of course I'll help! I may be a prince but I'm not a snobby one." He started grabbing items like food and clothes and started packing them in bags.

"Is your brother snobby them?" Jono asked while giggling at him. She was packing all her materials to make sure she could use every possible medicine and technique to heal the Elven King.

"No, but he can be stubborn and it drives me insane. He is the one who told everyone to NOT go the Nymph kingdom to find help for dad. And look at me! I found you and you're willing to help and YOU live in the Nymph kingdom. Serves him right for not listening to me."

"Haha! Yeah, we'll get our stuff and I'll put on my cloak to disguise myself." She took said cloak and wrapped it around herself so no one would be able to tell what she was.

"I actually think we got everything didn't we?" he stated with confidence, proud of the fact that he was finally going to go home with a healer.

"Well..." she looked through her bags and checked for everything. "Yes, yes we do. Ready to see your family?"

"Yeah, although, I'll get in SO much trouble, but it'll be worth it!" Mokuba stated sheepishly scratching his head.

"If you were MY child, you would be grounded until the day you die." Saying this with all seriousness.

"Well it's a good thing you aren't my mother then." He was truly glad for that fact. He liked Jono but he feared for the day she became a mother. 'I truly feel intense worry for that child.'

"Haha, let's get going then." She laughed as she headed out of her home. 'I'll miss my home. I do hope I'll be able to come back to it.' She thought of her open space for her living room that held dark wooded furniture with Celtic patterns on them. The super soft white carpet along the entire home floors except for the kitchen and bathrooms. It was a fairly large home she made so she could house travelers, guests, and so she could heal the sick. It was truly a beautiful home.

"Yeah!"

And so Jono and Mokuba set off to the Elven Kingdom and hoped they wouldn't be ambushed on the way there. The horses that they rode were very intelligent and knew paths that normal beings wouldn't think of trying to go through. The mare (female horse) Mokuba was riding wasn't very big nor was she super small, and she had dark brown fur with white speckles all over her body and black hooves. Her name was Sparkles because if you look at her from a far distance she looks like she is sparkling in the sunlight. She was a calm animal with a great sense of emotion with whoever is riding on her back. Jono was riding a stallion (leader male horse) who had solid black fur with deep brown hooves and he was huge, he was twice the size of little Sparkles. Despite his intimidating appearance, he wasn't really mean unless you scare or threaten him in any way. His name is Shadow, because of his dark black fur color. Now these horses aren't the normal horses you see prancing around in meadows and eating hay in barns, no, these horses can talk and are very wise because they live extremely long compared to the normal horses, they can live up to almost 300 years. Now these horses are at their peak of youth so they need to find a mate and go through what they call the "Century Ceremony" were they are bound to their mate for an entire year and if they still wish to be bound they will be forever married to one another for the rest of their lives (pretty cool huh?). Now fortunately, Shadow and Sparkles are officially married to each other so both Jono and Mokuba got lucky when they found these horses to ride into the Elven Kingdom last minute.

Sparkles said to Mokuba upon first meeting him, "You are so adorable! Oh Shadow, I can't wait to have children and I hope they will be just as adorable as this elf."

Shadow laughed at his wife's obvious love for cute things. "I'm sure they will be just as cute as him."

Mokuba blushes. "I'm really happy you guys are helping us. Without you guys I'm pretty sure it would take us a couple of weeks to get to my dad." He didn't think his dad would last that long without help. It was a sad thought to think about.

"We understand that your father is very important to you and wish to have him better sooner than later." Sparkles said with true sincerity reading Mokuba's sadness that was held in the atmosphere. Sparkles would have loved nothing more than to make this boy smile.

"And you should be very lucky to have Jono helping you as well, she is a nymph, and nowadays you would hardly ever see a nymph lift a finger to help elves if they were in danger. I remember when this cute elf family's house was burning down and the nymphs around refused to give them water to put out the flames. It was not a happy day for those elves."

Sparkles then said upon the distraught look on little Mokuba's face, "But then we saw Jono help rebuild their house the next day and the house was twice as big, much more beautiful than the first one."

"That's right. And she gave them water, food, medicine, blankets, and clothes. Jono, you really are an amazing person." Shadow added.

Jono blushed at his compliment. "Well thank you!" She loved to help others.

Sparkles asked curiously. "Did you ask for payment from the elf family?" It was a lot of work to build a new house, she wouldn't have thought ill of Jono if she did ask for a payment of some kind.

Jono replied, "Of course not! I would never ask things from people who are in need of help like them! It just makes me really angry with my kind. We were originally very giving and caring to those who needed help, but now they're just mean to anyone who has a relation with an elf." It was completely ludicrous how her kind simply changed because of the war.

Sparkles then said in response. "I know, it was only when this stupid war started that all the elves and nymphs started hating each other. It's very sad that two very powerful creatures who used to be the best of friends, now can't even stand the thought of one another."

Shadow spoke full of hope. "I know, but now that Miss Jono is going to help and heal the Elven King maybe there will more trust between the Elven Kingdom and Nymph Kingdom afterward."

"I doubt it. My dad and brother hate the nymphs, you might be able to convince my mom though." Mokuba said in a skeptical manner.

"They might not hate me after I heal your dad and to have brought you home safe and sound." Joey said smiling. Even though she said that, it didn't make her feel any less concerned on the idea of being killed on sight just because she was a nymph.

"We'll just have to see now won't we?" Mokuba said. He was sure his dad and brother wouldn't do anything as long as he made them promise not to hurt Jono, but the problem was actually getting them to make that promise.
