Mokuba smiles and walks over to Jono, "He didn't hurt you right?" training his intense grey eyes at his brother.
Jono laughs a little but replies politely. "No, little warrior of mine, he didn't hurt me. Scared me to death, but didn't physically hurt me." Winks at the older brother in a playful manner.
Seto is surprised at how the nymph is acting toward both him and his brother. 'I just about killed her, but she's treating me like a friend who has an inside secret with her. She is truly a strange creature indeed.'
"Yeah, Seto can be a little scary sometimes, I remember being on the other end of his wrath before, it's not pleasant." Mokuba scratches his head in nervousness at the memory of when he accidentally poured water on his brother.
"Regardless,I feel as if I should get a move on with the job? Don't you think so?" She questions at Seto, who nods hesitantly back.
Jono turns to the Elven King and requests respectfully, "If I am to try and heal you of this illness, I must come to close to you and more than likely touch you to feel your inner energy to see if I can find what your energy is fighting, is that alright with you?"
"I will allow it, you have proven to me, you are not here to harm anyone, so I see no reason for fear to allow you to come into contact with me." He waves his hands back at himself for the go ahead signal to Jono.
Being a nymph contributes to her actions by making her more careful and as well as graceful, as she slowly, cautiously, walks up the small set of steps coming closer and closer to his highness, until she directly in front of him, no less than 3 feet away. She takes a deep breath and focuses her inner energy to collide with his majesty's energy to search for the unknown illness.
Eventually, she sighs as she gives up on that method, and steadily reaches both of her hands to touch the sickly father. She puts the tips of her fingers on her left hand on the top of his head, just below the crown. She puts her whole right hand on his chest close to his heart. The second she put her hand on his chest she felt it, this thing, a very strange thing, it wasn't the Elven King's energy, but it was something much more different. Something very cold, sad, and lonely lurking in the depths of the king's heart. It felt strange to feel this in his heart. 'At first, I felt determination, cautiousness, and curiosity standing in front of him, that is his true energy, his willpower, his love for any and every one he sees as his family (which would be the entire kingdom of course), this thing that's in him is not his own manifestation of his own sadness and despair, this is what's making him sick!'
After making the realization, she pulls herself from the pool of energy, and brings herself back to the world of consciousness and steadily opens her eyes and blinks back her tears forming from the intense light in the surroundings.
Everyone waits anxiously, having watched the new nymph walking toward the king with a strange awareness and agile steps toward their beloved king, only for her to close her eyes and everyone gasps in shock at the glowing gold magic surrounding both her and the king. The magic pool encircling around starts to whip around in precise movements near the king's head and torso as if the whips of energy were searching for something. Suddenly the whips stop as the Nymph sighs in defeat. All of a sudden, as the nymph reaches her hands to the king, the magic swirls about, twisting and turning to the arms and hands as she gently touches one hand to his head and the other to his chest. In a split second, the magic pours in the king, making him glow a dull yellow, in that same instance, the magic seeps out and twirls its way back into the beholder.
It was quite a fascinating show, seeing the bright gold energy from the nymph twist, twirl, and whip like it was dancing happily to music only it could hear. But as all good things, they come and go in an instant.
Once the king had opened his eyes, he saw the nymph standing in front of him, looking in a daze and staring blankly in front of her. "Nymph? What's wrong? Are you alright?" He was truly concerned at this point.
Jono blinked once, twice until she kept her eyes open and looked down at the king on his throne and smiles sweetly at him before promptly passing out in exhaustion.
The king was in too much shock to realize what happened before it was too late, he saw her fall limply on the tile floor like a loose rag doll. Mokuba seeing Jono fall immediately ran to her and tried to get her up by shaking her profusely. Seto, on the other hand had a completely calm reaction. "Someone arrange a room for this nymph and have one of the cooks prepare a small meal for her as well." He turns toward everyone else in the room. "As much as I know you are all anxious to know what is making my father sick, the only person who could know is her. Seeing as she is currently unconscious at the moment, I'm going to have to ask you all to go to your homes and hopefully we'll know by tomorrow what's really going on with our beloved king."
Everyone then bows and leaves the castle, all heading to their respective homes, worrying about the news the nymph may bring upon the king's illness and hopefully a cure for the said illness.
Until next time folks, hope you guys enjoyed this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it! Please review, they make me happy!
