~the next morning~
"mhmm…nnh…" the sleeping beauty has finally decided to wake up from a rather wonderful slumber, feeling refreshed she stretched and sat up slowly, yawning in an attempt to wake up completely. She rubbed her eyes and slowly opened them to see a luxurious room complemented by royal shades of blues, dark purples, and onyx marble floors glistening with the oncoming morning sunlight flooding the room. She stood carefully trying to remember where she was and then it hit her like a metal ball being thrown at a very delicate glass vase. 'Oh my word, I'm in the Elven Kingdom! And I'm still alive thanks to Mokuba… Speaking of Mokuba, where is that little squirt?' She shrugged slightly and swiftly turned toward the door on the left side of the room she was in. She gradually opened the door, "Hello? Anyone here?" she looked down the seemingly endless hallway in both directions and sighed. Opening the door all the way and stepping out slowly, and she took a look along the wall of her new room and saw it had a huge mirror with two potted plants on each side. She took an extended amount of time looking at herself. "Goodness gracious, I look like death had warmed over and then been cast aside to the darkest regions where no light passes through…" Her lightly tanned skin looked egg shell white with dark blue-purple shadows under her deep tired brown eyes, her long thick hair a matted mess with strands standing out all around her face. Her entire body looked frail as if the slightest touch would shatter her very existence.
~back in Seto's room~
Seto woke with a start early the next morning, barely getting any sleep with everything that's happened. It just keeps repeating over and over in his head and the longer he thinks about it, the more confused he gets. 'That little wench has to have some ulterior motive, no way would an ordinary nymph be so willing to help the enemy king! What does she hope to gain out of this?' He paced quickly about his room every which way as he ponders about that strange woman sleeping just 4 rooms down the hall from him. He finally decided to get completely dressed a wake up that nymph and demand some answers! He sifted through his closet and cloaked himself with his best attire: a bright grey long sleeved shirt with onyx marble buttons centered in the middle, dark black leather pants, silver laced mid-calf high boots, navy blue cape that drapes over his right shoulder attached to the light blue sash that ran down across his torso and up across his back, complemented with his sliver leather belt that attaches to his sword which hung tightly on his left hip, the extremely sharp 2.5in wide blade was sheathed and extended downward just above his ankles. The shirt and pants clung to his body like a second skin, essentially leaving very little room for the imagination to see what's underneath them. The elven prince proceeded to march past his doorway with the true determination of a king himself… but he wasn't really paying attention and accidentally rammed his face into the slightly ajar door (HAHA had to do this guys!) " ACK! OW! Son of a BITCH!" he screamed in pain, his poor face throbbing in agony from the sudden impact.
"ACK! OW! Son of a BITCH!"
Jono shot her attention down the hall by the sudden scream of agony. 'Oh my lord, someone's hurt!' She bolted down the hall as fast as her tired legs would go. 'What if he's seriously injured?!' She caught sight of the open doorway and ran into the room without thinking. She was surprised to see Prince Seto holding his face with a scornful expression on his face, his eyes were closed tightly, from the pain she assumed, she knew this man hated her with every fiber of his being but that didn't mean Jono hated him, so crept slowly, so to not startle him and said in a concerned, but soft voice, "Are you alright?"
The reaction was immediate, eyes snapping open, whole body snapped in the direction of his doorway, his eyes widen significantly as he recognized it was the nymph he had been contemplating about all night long, his tone was harsh and cold as he spat " What are YOU doing in here?! What make you think you have the RIGHT to just come into my room like that, you really DO have a death wish don't you?"
She flinched at his cold words, but simply smiled softly at him. "I heard a scream, so I came running here, I didn't know it was you or that this was your room at all. I just wanted to make sure the person I heard wasn't seriously injured." She paused slightly as she watched the young prince's eyes shift from cold to surprise and then to a wary look. "Let me see your injury…please?" She raised her eyes at him that conveyed nothing but worry for the pained prince in front her.
His eyes started slightly by the hesitant request, he then decided to lower his right hand to show the nymph his almost completely black and blue on the right side of his face.
"Oh my lord, that looks absolutely terrible!" She rushed in front of Seto and lightly caressed battered and bruised side with a solemn look adoring her face. "I'm going to heal it so please hold still for me…" After a long deep breath, her magic slowly seeped into the wound and began healing it from the inside out.
All the pain he had been previously feeling had completely disappeared! 'So this is what natural healing is like, it feels so warm and comforting…' And just as suddenly the warmth had appeared, it disappeared altogether as the nymph's hand moved away from his face.
"So, how do you feel?"
"My face doesn't hurt anymore…" he states absentmindedly.
She smiles brightly. "That's good to hear, well I better get dressed myself. I wouldn't want poor Mokuba to see me like this, he'd surely pass out from shock! See you later!" She skipped happily out the door and down the hallway to her own room.
"…um…bye…?" he says barely over a whisper. 'What in the world is wrong with that woman…? Who just waltz in some stranger's room, an enemy's room no less, and decides to use their magic to heal something that would've went away on its own in a few days…' He hesitated for a brief moment before a sudden thought appeared, 'I completely forgot all the questions I was going to demand she answer!' He took deep breath, 'I'll think of them later, right now I'm too flustered at the moment to think clearly, next time I'll ask her'
