I'm so sorry guys, life decided to throw me through a loop of issues that I haven't quite figured out yet. I'm doing a lot better, but that doesn't change the fact that I haven't uploaded for a VERY long time. I hope this chapter makes up for it a little. I thank everyone who follows this story and thank you guys for being patient with me! I love you guys, I hope you enjoy this chapter, with plenty more coming after this!

Jono rushes to her room and slams the door heaving from running. 'I can't get over how HANDSOME that man is... Oh dear.' She was baffled to say the least, Prince Seto wasn't what she expected him to be based on Mokuba's description. 'Then again, it's not like he would say his older brother is good-looking to a basic stranger.' (after all that stuff that went down yesterday...yeah right)

As she's thinking all of this, she's slowly making her way to the gigantic closet in her room, and opens the fine decorative cherry oak doors. Before her rows upon rows of gorgeous dresses hang arranged by both color and length, from bright to dark, left to right. She couldn't help but awe at the sight. She tentatively reached out to touch them, but then realization hitting her like a bag of rocks, instantly drew her hand back to herself. 'What am I DOING, this isn't MY room, these dresses aren't mine to do what I want with them.'

She then walks over to the vanity and takes a moment to actually look at herself in the mirror. She sees a nymph woman with long blonde hair that screams bed head because of how messy it looks, small dark circles around her honey brown eyes displaying how tired she really is, wearing the same dress she wore the day before looking a bit worn for wear, but overall not at all what she anticipated. "Oh well, I expected worse than this, so I don't look too bad despite everything..." she said out loud to herself for confirmation. "Now how am I going to get my stuff? I have my own toothbrush and hair brush I can use, so I don't use theirs just in case they're not comfortable with me using anything... hmm... I also need to change outfits," she looks down at herself "this dress needs to be cleaned and patched up before I can EVER hope to wear it again."

"You don't have to worry about all that." a cold voice stated behind her.

She immediately twists around to look at the owner of such a cold voice. It's Prince Seto standing at her doorway, looking at her with a stern but unamused expression. She cautiously looks up and speaks a very soft voice so as to not sound rude, "And why is that?" She tilts her head slightly to the side in sheer confusion.

His eyes widen in interest, but he looks to the side before she notices and scoffs, "Since you are our guest here we shall give you our upmost hospitality. This is your room, everything in here is yours while you remain within the kingdom." emphasizing the word guest with a little more malice. Altogether contradicting his sentence.

Jono couldn't help but notice the tone difference and tensed up; then shifted her eyes to the floor to try and not aggravate him anymore than she already has with her unwanted presence. She offers a small smile of gratitude, "Thank you very much, your highness." She remembered the closet and then lights up the whole room and rushes over to the closet and flings open the doors and squeals in happiness, completely forgetting about the elder prince at her doorway. "Oh my goodness which one to pick, they are all so beautiful. AH, there's even matching shoes to go with EACH dress... I'll have to ask Mokuba for help on this one."

Seto just roles his eyes and walks out of the room, but on the inside he can't help but think that was totally adorable. 'WHY do I keep thinking that way, it's not like she's the only woman I've ever seen.' He shakes his head trying to get rid of his ridiculous thoughts.

~Mokuba's Room~

Mokuba stirs awake, confusion bearing his expression until he realizes he's in his room. Floods of memories of yesterday all come out at once. 'I need to check on Jono before my brother does something stupid!' He quickly gets dressed and runs all the way to her room. He tries to open the door but notices it's been locked, so he knocks on it. "Hey Jono, it's me Mokuba, are you okay?" Worry etched in his voice. He hears the door being unlocked and then opened. He bursts in the room to see if Jono is alright and gets the shock of his life. Right in front of him is Jono herself, but that's not the surprise, it's what she's wearing that shocks him. She is wearing a forest green mermaid dress with a heart shaped bust that was littered in green and blue gems wrapped in a navy blue dress robe with short ruffled sleeves, keeping it together is a loosely tied black sash belt. "Wow... Jono you look GOREGOUS!"

Jono giggles in embarrassment. "Thank you, Mokuba. Or should I say 'your highness'?"

Mokuba shakes his head. "No, it'd be weird if you started calling me that now, after all that's happened." He looks down at the floor with a contemplating expression. "I suppose we should get going so you can explain what's actually going on with my dad." She nods and they start their walk down the hallway, through the doors of the throne room. The guards hold their ground as Jono walks past them; even though, she knew it was because she was with Mokuba that they weren't trying to harm her. As the both of them open the doors to the throne room, everyone's eyes were on them as they made their way to stand in front of the king himself.

King Lycus raised his hand to let everyone know to keep quiet as it was hard for him to speak. "Young nymph, yesterday, you had infused me with your magic to supposedly see what ales me. Tell us what you found." His voice was gentle but had a demanding underlying tone to it.

Jono bows her head. "This may be hard to understand, I would never say you or anyone here is stupid, by no means am I saying that. It was difficult even for me and I was the one who did it." she carefully explains.

Seto asks demanding, "Just get on with it, what do we need to do to heal my father?" His patience was wearing thin.

She looks at him sharply. "It's not we, it's just me who can help him, your highness."

Seto huffs in his chair, "And what exactly can a lowly nymph like you can do?"

Jono takes a deep breath and looks back at the king. "The thing that is making you sick isn't an illness, it's a manifestation of sadness and despair that looks to be cursed upon your very being. I noticed yesterday before I physically touched your energy, you radiated with determination, cautiousness, and curiosity. I also felt your love and devotion for anyone you considered to be your family. That is your true self, your majesty."

The queen looked absolutely shocked, Seto looked slightly surprised by this information, Mokuba stared at Jono with wide curious eyes.

Seto decided to step in. "You still didn't answer my question nymph." He hated to be ignored.

Before Jono could respond Mokuba jumped in with an aggravated tone. "Her name is JONO, and she has risked everything to come here and help our father, the least you can do is show her a little respect by saying her birth-given name!" (haha, lol, Jono isn't her 'birth-given' name, but the point still stands) He was fed up by his brother's attitude towards his friend.

Seto was shocked by his little brother's outburst, but was even more surprised at what happened next. Jono smiled softly and gently laid her hand on Mokuba's shoulder, he turned to look at her. She got on her knees so she was at his height level and pulled him into a hug.

She spoke sweetly, "Thank you Mokuba. I'm really happy you said that for me. However," She pulled herself out of the hug and held her hands on his shoulders as if she was softly scolding a small child. "if your brother or anyone else for that matter doesn't want to say my name, I'm not insulted by being called a 'nymph' because that is actually what I am. If your brother doesn't want to show me respect because he doesn't trust me, that's okay. You can't simply tell someone to trust someone who've they've just met, that's a really high expectation, and no one should be put on that type of situation."

Mokuba stares at the floor. " It's not that I don't like him calling you 'nymph', it's the way he says it that makes me angry. Like you're the most evil, vile thing he's ever come a crossed."

Jono nods understandingly. "But it is also his right to express his feelings on the matter, correct?" Mokuba nods, "You have to understand Mokuba, I am invading in his home, a stranger who shouldn't here under any circumstances. He is merely expressing his dislike for the situation he is being put through, it's not like he's physically harming me now is he?"

Mokuba huffs and turns away and looks up at Seto. "I'm not apologizing and won't apologize because I think your attitude is rude. But I do still love you big brother, despite you being rude to my friend here."

Jono stands up and faces Seto, "To answer your question, your highness, I'd rather show it to you than explain." Walks slowly up to Lycus and smiles sweetly but with saddened eyes. "I'm going to do what I did yesterday, only this time, I'm going to quite literally rip it out of your being."

He stares at her with a contemplating look and lowly asks, "With the way you're describing it, you make it sound like it will be a painful process." he infers "You say this with a smile but your eyes tell me a different story."

"It will be painful, for both of us. If you feel you can pull through, then I will begin." She explains.

The king nods. "Whatever happens, you have my word that we will take care of you, not only as a father, but as a king, even if it should kill me." He promises.

Seto stands and yells angrily, "If you die father I will NOT allow her to live any longer! As the next heir to the throne, I won't allow it!"

Lycus stares at his son in bewilderment. "Seto, you won't have a choice in that matter, she has come here, far away from her home to come and heal me of this supposed illness, if in the end, I lose my life because I was too cowardly to go look for help on the other side, then it is my fault, not hers."

"Fear not Prince Seto, I assure you he won't die." Jono promises. Because, if it came down to it, I'll be the one giving up my life to protect the king's.
