~At the Nymph castle one month later~

"YOUR MAGESTY! I bring news from the Elven Kingdom!" Cried one of the guards as he burst through the big white maple doors. He was running toward his king as if his life was in danger. The panic clearly heard amongst everyone in the throne room. The pristine white marble walls gleamed where the sun's light hit, the tapestries of bright yellows and reds swayed silently with the gust of wind the seeped in.

King Enlil paused for a moment to let the guard catch his breath before bellowing his deep mighty voice, asserting his power with a mere sentence. "What is the meaning of this?"

The guard then kneeled respectively, "My apologies my gracious king. Believe me, if it wasn't important, I wouldn't have burst in here like this."

His piercing brown-red eyes scowled slightly, he shifted his shoulder length dark blonde hair to the side , resting his head on the his left hand. "Very well. Do go on with what you've heard." Really hoping this guard wasn't going to waste his time with nonesense rumors, especially ones about the enemy kingdom.

"It's terrible, your highness. There's a poison in their lands thats killing off the children. It's been happening for a month now, although, we are just receiving news of this ourselves. There has also been news of a stray nymph in the dawn forest trying to aid the cause to get rid of it. A young mage named Yami and his fairy wife Yugi have been pressumed to have left to aid as well. A neighbor noticed their absence for the last two weeks." He spoke quickly, trying his best to not tremble in his king's prescence. Preparing himself for the king's reaction. It could go one of two ways. Hoping for a better outcome.

The king paused, shocked graced his elder, but still handsome face for the first time in many years. As a king, you see every aspect of a person, both good and bad, so it was hard to truly surprise him. It was refreshing in a way. He went to speak before someone spoke out first. "Terrible, you say? I'd say it's EXACTLY what they deserve. After taking your poor helpless daughter away. Maker knows what really happened to her." The king's brother, Zopyro interjects absentmindedly, waving his hand dismissively. "Don't you think so, dear brother?" His green eyes fully exposed due to his white-blonde hair tied to the back of his head. The end of the tail barely touched the nape of his neck.

"My King and councel chair, while I do agree it was horrible for them to do such a thing, we must also think of all the inoccent children's lives at stake. They shouldn't have to die for their king's mistake." His pleaded his rulers.

"SILENCE you sorry excuse of a guard. You DARE say that your princess doens't MATTER anymore?" Lord Zopyros' eyes gleamed a malice unlike any other. Fear embedding itself in the guards whole body.

"N-no my Lord, I would NEVER suggest a thing. Please forgive my inability to clarify myself properly." He kneeled once more. Bowng his head in shame and humilitation.

Lord Zopyros went to speak but King Enlil raised his hand to silence him. "No." He rose from his throne to walk toward the kneeling guard. "Raise yourself son."

The guard slowly got up until he was standing face to face with his king, his eyes downcast with shame. "I apologize your magesty, it really wasn't my intention to speak as if our long lost princess didn't hold any importance anymore."

Enlil placed his right hand on the guards metal clad, left shoulder, bringing the guard's attention towards the king's sad eyes. "I understand that. There's no need for you to apologise." He turns his attention toward his brother. "I am happy you still hold my daughter in a special place in your heart even after all these years, my dear brother. However, we have a whole other matter on our hands. By no means am I willing to forgive the Elven King for what he did, but I will NOT let innocent children die despite being in that wretched kingdom."

The guard smiled brightly at his king. "What shall your orders be, your highness?" Saluting his leader with utmost pride.

A small smile graced his features, his red-brown eyes glittered slightly at the sight of the beaming guarrd. "Gather all healers and mages and start packing for the Elven Kingdom, we shall help extinguish this poison for the protection of the next generations! For they are the future beyond us!"

"Yes, your magesty! Right away!" He then proceeds to run out of the castle, making his way to the streets to yell the news to every healer and mage, hoping everyone will be willing to join their king's efforts.

Meanwhile back at the castle, a certain green-eyed man is internally fuming. 'Are you SHITTING ME?! My brother of all people is going to help the enemy we've been fighting, for over a decade, simply because of some stupid children dying?!'
