TMNT:

A New Beginning

Chapter 4: A new hope (Pilot PT. 4)

Alex remained focus to his work. He wanted nothing more to catch this ninja and bring down the entire operations of both the purple dragons and the Foot clan, but he felt like this case wasn't going anywhere. It had been a few hours since he last heard from any upcoming news about anything from both gangs. Diane sat across from him and had a few files on her desk pertaining to the case, but it looked like she could not find any whereabouts. Alex examined what was going on and decided to break this silence. "Find anything?" Diane was frustrated. She could not find anything. "No. Nothing. It just keeps pointing back to the last place we were at." Alex understood the frustration she portrayed, but also knew that keeping a settled mind was best. "This wouldn't have happened if I didn't let that guy get away, then we would be somewhere." "Hey. Stop that. This isn't no one's fault. It could've happened to anyone." Diane looked unconvinced. "Really?" "Well, not anyone I know." Alex proclaimed, and this caused Diane to smirk a little. Alex smiled and also found it funny. "What I mean is, we didn't know exactly what that ninja was going to do. This isn't on anyone, so quit it." Alex reminded her of what the job represented, and that they only way to move forward was to improve. Diane understood, but while it didn't make her stop thinking she could've done more, she saw that Alex was trying to help.

"So, you regret taking me in?" Diane asked him. Alex had to give it a lot of thought. While he didn't want a partner, he would be willing to try. "To be honest, I didn't think it was a good idea." Diane looked surprised. "But who knows. Maybe I was a bit dramatic." Diane then smiled. "Detective!" An officer came running to their desk. "One of the officers just spotted one of the Dragons cars driving toward Murray hill." Alex and Diane turned to each other. "That's by the Empire state building." Alex got up from his chair, Diane doing the same. Both grabbed their Jackets and made their way to the door. Hank, the CSI guy, saw both detectives make their way to the door. "Hey what's going on?" "Not now Hank." Alex firmly stated. "Why the hell are they driving near the Empire state building?" Diane asked as she got into Alex's car. 'That's what we're going to find out." Diane looked unconvinced. "You wanted to experience what playing detective is like in this city? You're about to find out." Alex started the car, Diane following suite, and both drove to Murray hill, hoping that this night would not be a night in hell.

Murray Hills

Hun stood in front of all his commanders, Dragonface, Johnny, Two Ton, Bam-Bam and Claw. After the meeting with his master, he called all his commanding officers to a "I have you all here tonight because our Master has informed me that tonight, Manhattan will be ours." "Hells yeah!" Two Ton stated. "Its about damn time we show those lowlifes whose boss!" Bam-Bam. "What I need you all to do right now is gather the rest and make sure you get everyone out of this place! Now!" "You got it, boss!" Claw said. As everyone got ready to head out to get the others, Hun called Johnny and Dragonface to remain where they were. "What I want you two to do now is to see to the… personal item I've attained." Johnny and Dragonface nodded, obeying the orders of their master. "Tonight, is the night boys. This city is going to be ours. Nothing and no one will change that." Hun immediately felt pride and that he was the only one to fear. "Menendez. You will be the one to control all the Empire district, but first, remain here with the device. And Carmine, you will lead the rest down to Manhattan. Understood?" "Yeah." Johnny answered. Hun sent them away. He knew that it would be one hour until the item was activated, and by then, not even the closest officer would be able to stop them.

Meanwhile

Leo and his brothers were running to the nearest hideout on Murray hill. All four were combining moves of parkour, flips and were running a little faster than any other person would be able to. Mikey did a side flip over a ledge to across the building, Raph leapt across and landed with a barrel roll, Don had a regular front flip, and Leo did a back flip. Once they arrived to a 50 ft building, they walked towards the ledge and kneeled down. All they saw across from them were a few members of the Purple Dragon gang. "What's going on down there, Donny?" Leo asked. Don took the opportunity to pull out a pair of small one lensed but full zoom binocular that he kept in his bag. Through his binoculars, he saw a few dragon thugs around a few crates of weapons lying around. "Um, they got weapons." "Weapons?" Mikey nervously asked. "Remember how I said that one of the dragons' hideouts were involved in weapon smuggling? Well, this is one of those hideouts." Don explained. He, most of all, was impressed with the kinds of guns they have, but did not like what it was used for. "Casey, you there?" On the other side of the hideout, Casey is seen, hiding from the dragon gang, waiting for the signal to strike. "Yep." He whispered gruffly. "Good. Remember, on my go, we fight off the thugs, attain the weapons, and shut down their operation." "I'd say we go now and find that piece of garbage Hun!" Raph exclaimed. "Not yet. We handle these guys first. No one goes alone." Leo reminded him. "Let's go!" Leo started running, his brothers following. "Oh yeah, it's major butt kicking time, dudes!" Mikey excitedly shouted.

8:24 p.m.

'All units! We have a sighting of the Dragon vehicle headed towards Murray hill! Driver is in a Toyota truck, with a dragon symbol on the side vehicle! This is Detective Alex Anderson, requesting backup!" Alex spoke to the radio scanner, signifying other officers to respond. As soon as he was done, he continued driving towards the Dragons hideouts. "Looks like a long night, yeah?" Alex looked towards Diane, who happened to look nervous, but nodded.

Meanwhile

The lair.

All of a sudden, the noise came from Dons lab. A repeated alert. "What was that?" Ryan asked first. April then ran to the computer to confirm the alert. John, Ryan and Splinter were following and rushing to the noise. "Just a police scanner call." April told everyone, and they all now calmed down. April was thinking for a long time about what she and Don were discussing. About each district with the Dragons, and what they all were connected with. She knew firsthand what the dragons were capable of, but the foot was a whole other mystery to her. Something didn't feel right to her. This wasn't just another night tracking down the Dragons. This time the foot was involved, and whatever they were planning, it couldn't be good. There was no way that her friends couldn't handle both foot and Dragons at once.

Meanwhile

"Ok, I have eyes on the weapons." Leo stated, on another side of the hideout, hiding from his enemies. Leo told the others on his earpiece. Everyone was scattered now into their positions. This is what Leo suggested that he, his brothers would go to a different spot, one by one, and insisted that they would scan out what exactly was going on. Raph was near Casey, and Don and Mikey were now inside the main building, hidden well from other dragons. "Same here. Also, some major wannabe jackasses." Casey stated. "Donny?" Leo spoke quietly. "Me and Mike are in." Don and Mikey were in the ceilings above. As soon as the hallway was clear, Don landed and dropped first, and Mikey followed. "Ok." said Leo in Don's earpiece. Both Don and Mikey then made their way down the hall, keeping aware of their surroundings and hoping to not be caught by the dragons. They opened the door to a computer screening room, and what they saw, Don immediately became fond of. "Wow." "This is way better than what you have back at the lair." Mikey said. Don agreed. He then noticed a blueprint that seemed most familiar to him. Along with it came a note. It said:

"This item is to be proceeded with extreme caution.

Once activated, exit the premises and gather your

followers. Then, the city will be ours.

You will make the whole order proud."

Order? Don wondered about what and whoever wrote the note, they talked about an order. This didn't look good. "'item is to be proceeded with Caution.' "What item?" "Maybe it has something to do with pizza. *gasp* Are they gonna destroy the everlasting pizza?" Don then turned to Mikey and shook his head in annoyment. "No, but it does look like they are planning something. But how is the foot involved? That's the part that doesn't-" Don then noticed a blueprint hidden among files and papers, and quickly pushed the other papers off the table. "Oh man." "What?" Mikey asked. "This looks bad." "What?" Mikey asked once more. "Donny? We need you right now!" Leo sounded like he was shouting in Don's earpiece. "Yeah. Ok." Don started to grab the remaining files and papers, but before he did, took out a cellular type of device and started to take pictures and sent it back to the lair. "Donny, what's going on?" His young brother was now worried, given to Don's reaction. "I'll explain later." Don said to him quickly. And both rushed to get to the others.

Meanwhile

"Dammit Raph! This was supposed to be an easy job!" Leo shouted at his hothead of a brother, who fought off four dragons. "Don't blame me! This is all on the bonehead there!" Raph argued and had his head turned to Casey, who blocked an attack and then knocked the thug to unconsciousness. "How the hell was I to know they had all these extra guys around?!" Casey argued back! Leo ran towards another thug, leapt and somersaulted over the guy and once he landed, did a spin kick to his face, causing the guy to fall over. 'It never fails.' He thought to himself, as he turned to another and blocked the pipe with his sword, grabbed his arm, and did a form of judo throw. Raph finished off the remaining thugs, following an attack of punches, flip kicks and was successful. Casey was about finished fighting the other ones but didn't notice the other one sneaking up behind him, and was about to strike him in the head, but then, a noise made Casey turn around. He saw the thug nearly about to attack him, but then the thug starts to fall to the ground, showing Don holding his bo staff. "Aww man!" Mikey said behind Don. "I'd knew there was hardly any bad guys left for us." He started to pout. "What did you find?' Leo walked up to them and asked. "There was hardly anything, besides this note." Don handed Leo the note, and while he read it, what Leo saw was the same expression Don had. "What order? Is this Hun's master they mentioned?" "I don't know, but there's something else. I scanned and found a blueprint from the same office. It has instructions on how to build and operate a device that's to be used." "What device?" Raph then asked quickly. "From what I read, it seems to have plans to level the entire portion of Murray hill. They plan on taking whole control using these explosions. In other words, they're using a bomb to blow half of Murray hill." "Oh my God." Leo worriedly stated. "What do we do?" Casey asked him. Leo had to try and think of a plan. If the Dragons and Foot were planning on taking Manhattan, they would have to be stopped, but how? They failed at every encounter they had. It was nearly… wait. If he found Hun or the leader of this district, then they would start to get somewhere. The others then would have to find this device and shut it down. "Ok." He told everyone else the plan, and once he finished, the others just shook their head. "That's insane! Not only is it insane but-" Raph started to say. "What other options are there? If we find either of them, then the plans will fail." "Dude, what happens if you- "Mikey asked him. "Nothing is going to happen to me." "Hun was supposed to be mine. You can't- "Casey said, but Leo interrupted. "I made a promise. To help this city and everyone in it. Including two boys who have no home." This caused everyone to be surprised at Leo's speech, but Raph just rolled his eyes and grunted silently "Oh my God." "If we don't stop Hun, then those promises mean nothing." "He's right," Don said. "Those boys need our help. So does the city." Everyone didn't like it, but they all agreed. "What do we do?" "You guys try to find the device and let me know. I'm going after Hun and the leader of this district." Leo started to make his destination. "You be careful!" Raph called out. "You too!" Leo knew his brothers were worried, but whatever choice he had made, he had to fulfill these promises. 'John, I hope your God will help us, because we sure need it.' Leo thought. Those promises he made to John had to be fulfilled. No matter what.

Meanwhile

8:40 p.m.

"Is the device ready?" Hun asked over the phone intercom. "Yeah. That ninja dropped it off." Johnny answered very quickly and with eagerness. "Good. There seems to be problems with the weapons smuggling on the outside. I've sent our new friends to handle the situation." "Everything good?" Johnny asked him. Hun seemed annoyed over the phone, but still replied back. "Yes, but I need you to check whatever it is. Have a few guards posted here and bring some with you!" The intercom shut off, and Johnny started towards the device. If he succeeded tonight, then he would be fully accepted to the order his boss explained to him about. This formed a hellish devilish grin upon his face. Tonight, was a good night to be a Purple Dragon.

April was starting to worry more about the others and Casey. She spent a few minutes on Don's computer, searching for any clues about what was happening. Just then, a notification made April turn to the top left corner. It turns out that Don had sent some sort of blueprints that the Dragons had. "Oh no." She said silently to herself. "Is that another police call?" Ryan asked as he and John turned to the noise and to Don's lab. Ryan noticed something was up with April. "Are you ok?" "This is a bomb." April said. Ryan and John looked confused. "What?" Splinter also happened to be walking by, and noticed April was a bit shaken. "They're planning on using the bomb to destroy half of Murray hill. If they do that-""They will kill all innocent civilians and then will be in control of everything." "No." Ryan was in disbelief that even some bad guys were willing to do that. He thought the dragons and foot were no more than common criminals, but to do that… there was just no honor or compassion. "Is there a way to deactivate the device?" Splinter asked. "Well, someone would have to be close enough to disarm it. Maybe Donny can." April tried contacting Don, but there was a static noise that was appearing on the other side of the call. "Somethings wrong. I can't reach him." "Are they alright?" Splinter asked. "I'm not sure. The connection isn't working now." "We must make sure that my sons are alright. "But how?" April asked, and this time she had no clue on what to do. Ryan was in shock and did not know what to do, while John who was deep in thought. John heard a voice inside his head. "Do not be afraid. Be strong and courageous, my child. I know the plans I have for you all." John then saw visions again. Only this time:

Someone in a hood fighting with a sword

An Archer holding a bow was posted on a rooftop

Someone swinging from building to building, also using gymnastics and parkour

Hun and the dragons being brought to jail

A man bent his wrist and out came a blade

John shaking hands with Leo

Ryan smiling and hanging with Mikey

John and some girl

A hawk, signifying hope for New York

His mother hugging him

Christopher Gomez and his son, John were both sitting at an edge near a lake, watching over the view and having a father and son moment. "Son, I know that God has plans for you, and whatever it is, you're going to change the world. Never lose sight of that. You're called for great things. No matter what, I will be proud of the man you become."

"I think everyone deserves a chance, no matter what others think." Leo says to John before he leaves the lair.

Jesus appears to John.

"That's someone I can put my trust in." Someone says to John.

"You're a good person. A good man." Another voice appears.

"Believe it or not, I have hope. You gave me that." A girl is heard encouraging John.

"This is your responsibility now." Christopher says.

John knew now what he and Ryan were to do. He couldn't deny it, but it may have been God telling him through these visions. He was now aware of what and why they were brought to New York. "We can go." Ryan turned to John quickly and so did April and Splinter. "What?" Ryan asked him. "We can help the others." April was surprised at John's random statement. "Casey said to stay here." "Yeah, but if Don's not answering back, then they're in trouble. I can feel it." April didn't deny it. She still had to listen to Casey no matter what, however, but… she didn't fully agree with why. "Look, you said this morning that maybe me and Ryan were brought here for a purpose. And whatever that purpose was, you would be there. Maybe this is it. To help you beat the dragons and the foot. To help you to save this city." John explained to both Splinter and April. April did remember. She had to agree with that. "Are you sure?" It's going to be dangerous." April said to the two boys that she took in. "We know." Ryan stepped up and turned to look at John. "We just have to have faith and trust." John smiled, and then Ryan stood up straight and both were determined. April turned to Splinter, who looked at the two boys and understood that they wouldn't back down. His sons were no older than they were, and also believed that what Casey had said was unnecessary, but understandable. He feared one of his sons may one day not return home, but knew what their purpose was. If these two children were also willing to fight for New York, then he wouldn't stop them. Like his sons, they would be trained and help take back the city from those who wished it to be destroyed. "Then come with me." Splinter told the two of them.

Splinter led them to the dojo, where in another area, there were the weapons that John used during the training session with Raph, but in another area, there appeared to be two cabinets. "If you are serious in wanting to help my sons, then you are going to need something to defend yourselves." He opened each cabinet, and inside, there were two hooded outfits that he, Leo and Don had found in a box full of clothes, fully sealed and in one of the sewer tunnels. One was a Gray like material clothing, long sleeved and has a little holster on the right arm to hold little knives or darts. that had a pair of ninja combat boots, and military pants that could have been somewhere used for jungle environments. The Second cabinet had another hood, long sleeved, but it appeared to be more of a jacket cloak then simply having a hood attached to the shoulder templates. It was colored with mainly black, but its secondary color was white. There were also combat military boots, along with a pair of military pants. "Whoa." Ryan was impressed. "My sons and I found these clothes that have not been touched from anyone. I would rather have them be given away to use then to have it sit here collected by dust." Splinter explained to the two boys. Ryan walked up to the Gray hooded outfit and was literally filled with amazement and excitement. "Also, I usually do not grant this, for I believe that someone must earn them, but the weapons you choose will be best suited on the battlefield."

"Can I choose the bow?" Ryan asked excitedly. Splinter then started to laugh. "Yes, you may." Ryan nodded and smiled. "Cool." John walked to the second cabinet, and looked at the second outfit, still thinking about what he had said just about a minute ago was true. April stood beside John, examining the outfit along with him. "You really want to do this, huh?" "Of course, I do." John answered. "I was thinking of what Leo said to me earlier, and what Master Splinter also said to me. How the paths that lie before us are ours to choose alone. And then how everyone deserves that chance to be something more. I just hope what I'm choosing is the right thing." John was convinced, but also was a little hesitant. "You were right what you said." John turned to April, curious as to what she meant. "I remember what I also said to you this morning. That we'll be here to help you anyway we can." April explained. "I know it feels scary, but whatever choice you decide to make now, I will be there for you two boys. No matter what." John started to smile, then turned back to the cabinet, and was fully aware of the choice that he was making. He sighed and knew this was the right call. Leo promised him his safety, but John made a promise of his own; to help save their home. To save their city. What could go wrong, right?

9:10 p.m.

"What the hell is this guy up to?!" Alex yelled as the driver and passenger in the dragon's car were now at the two officers. Diane fired back, but she had missed a few shots from the passenger seat. "Regret the transfer to here yet Adams?!" "No sir!" Diane continued firing and hope that this night would end well. Alex thought the same thing. He saw Diane finally able to make the shot, and then the car drifted and skirted losing control, and then ran into a nearby wall. Everyone outside was in shock, and they saw the two detectives out on the scene. They could hear other sirens not to far from where they were. After an twenty minute chase, they managed to catch some members of the dragon gang. Just then, a guy that appeared to be wearing a sleeveless jean jacket, started to pull out a gun and was about to shoot. "Put it down now!" Alex yelled out, but the thug didn't listen and started shooting. Alex took the shot, and then Diane, who both killed the thug in an instant. Another one got out of the vehicle and also tried, but Alex managed to shoot in his shoulder and got him. Both Alex and Diane walked towards the vehicle, both guns still out and saw the second thug trying to get away. "I'll kill ya! I will kill the both of you!" The thug shouted at the two officers. "You're under arrest! I would advise you to shut up." Alex told him. As Diane got out her handcuffs, placed them on the thug and read him the Miranda rights, Alex was proud that he and the rookie caught one of the thugs. It was a start, but they still had a long way to go.

Meanwhile

Leo silently entered the main office and examined his surroundings around him. He felt that it was too quiet and could possibly be a trap. As he looked around, Leo saw a light blinking from a desk phone. He walked towards it and pressed one if the buttons, and knew it was a voicemail. "You understand what you need to do." A dark threatening voice appeared, which almost made Leo shiver. It wasn't Hun, but Leo had no idea who it was. "Your plans must not be placed in the wrong hands. Do not fail us." "Us?" Leo silently asked himself. Leo then heard noises coming from behind him and tried to find somewhere to hide. He was successful as two dragon thugs entered the office. "I don't care if the boss says it's gotta be done. You don't think that this is a crazy plan?" The first thug asked the other. "I don't question Hun or his plans. You shouldn't either." "I'm just saying, if it was your life on the line, I would've had the common sense to quit the gig as quickly as I can. I only joined because… well… I needed the money." "If you just wanted the money, you could've worked at a local burger joint and got you some money, bro." "You know what I mean, man." Leo, with his agile body and strength, was hanging above the ceiling, having his arms and legs on the ceiling. "Look, all I'm saying is, all the boss wants us to do is to deliver each shipment hear. We've been doing that for months now. Pick the package up, drop it off. Pick it up, then drop it off. Easy money. Now he wants us to make sure everyone's out of the building and out the neighborhood." "Where's the boss now?" Thug one asked. "I don't know. As soon as Menendez came in, Hun just told him the plans, left him to handle things here, and then who knows?" "I heard that he was staying to make sure Menendez wouldn't screw up again like last time and stayed here." "For real?" "Yeah. That Menendez guy couldn't handle situations like this." Both thugs laughed and gathered the things they were asked to bring. "Where the hell does, he even gets off?" "I don't have a damn clue, man." The thugs then started to leave. Leo then landed on the ground silently, and then made his way to the rooftop to confront Menendez or possibly Hun.

Meanwhile

Tmnt 2007 stealth theme (Had an idea for this one.)

Don used the scanner to find traces of the bomb device and led the others. "This is a really awesome place. Would be big enough to throw a pizza party and all." Mikey exclaimed. "Do you ever shut up about Pizza?" Raph asked him. "No dude. Not when it's about pizza!" "Guys." Casey told them. "Ok so the scanner's picking up a few traces of radiation of the c-56 bomb. It looks like it's down here." Don led them to the other side of the building, where they all saw the device that was big enough to level a portion of Murray Hill. "Holy-"Casey remarked. "Can you disarm it?" Don then scoffed. "Can I disarm it?" Don unwrapped the bag around his waist and grabbed a multitool and got started right away. He examined guidelines and manuals about each bomb since a kid, so he had an idea of what he was doing. "Hmm. Ok, so there's the red wire. And if I just…" "Dude, are you talking to yourself?" Mikey asked, with a formed smile. Don didn't have anything to say, except no. It took no time at all, and he was able to perform at ease. ""Nice." "Uh Donny." Don turned around and saw Johnny Menendez and a few dragon members with him. "Well, well, if it isn't the turtle freaks and the Hockey man!" "Its Casey Jones." Casey said silent to himself. "Aww. No one told me the circus was in town." Raph stated sarcastically. "We have little regulations on what we do to trespassers around here. So I'm gonna give all of you two options: One, leave now, and you have my promise that we will leave all of you alone. Or two; Stay here and die with your precious city of crap!" Johnny Menendez and the thugs started towards the four individuals. Just then fifteen-foot ninjas arrived and stood with the Dragons, and Mikey and Don looked at each other. "Hmm. That sounds like a great offer, but I'm afraid I'll have ta speak for my brothers and my friend here and say that it's no deal." Raph told them the truth. He wasn't afraid of the Dragon punks, and their threats; they were nothing. Dragon face then chuckled and shook his head.

"Hold on. You freaks actually think that you can stop us and save the city? That's real cute, but I don't think you seem to understand; This city deserves to die. Nothing you do can ever change that!" "Your plans already failed, Menendez! It's over!" Casey told him. "Oh, you mean the little one there. Yeah, that one's a dud. Yeah, it is a real bomb and whatnot, but I'm pretty sure the second is the one everyone's talking about." Johnny pointed. Everyone looked behind them and were confused. "A dud?" Mikey asked. "That bomb right there. That was only to be used for a demonstration." "Which means that the real bomb is still here somewhere." Don said silently. "Bingo. Now if you turtles would be kind enough to let us destroy your 'precious New York', we'll just be on our way." "What's the matter, Afraid for a little showdown!"

TMNT 2007 "Tower Power" starts playing, only a small portion.

Raph confronted him. "I've got better things to do then to fight a bunch of monsters." Johnny smugly commented, and this made Raph pissed. He hated when he was called a monster, especially from some snot nosed punk. He ran after Dragon face, and the others tried to stop him, but it was too late. Thugs then started attacking the turtles and Casey, and Raph was too busy fighting Johnny. Raph dodged a few free throw punches that the Gang leader was throwing and blocked a few attacks. He was now using hand to hand combat techniques to fight and threw a few acrobatic moves in there. He was not going to let this guy get away with murder or any other crime he was going to commit. This time, he himself was going to make sure the Dragons were done. Don and Mikey fought off against the many thugs that were attacking them, throwing in punches, counter attacks and kicks but it was no luck. Casey was busy handling the others, and there was a little too many for them. "Donny! You ok, Bro?!" Mikey asked his brother, while still fighting the others, dodging their attacks with flips. "I'm fine Don't worry about me!" Everyone grunted and fought each other. Don was too distracted to see the other thug trying to escape, grabbing the remote detonator. He was going to get to Menendez, but then something hit the detonator from his hand. He looked around and saw that there was an arrow implanted in the wall, along with the small device. He was about to ask who was there, but then was knocked out in the face, and before him was Ryan, wearing the same outfit that was given to him by Splinter, eyes covered with paint, the hood covering his face and holding the same bow he used few hours ago.

Roy harper theme

The others were distracted and didn't notice Ryan, but a few thugs took notice of the hooded figure holding a bow and quiver of arrows. "Who the hell's this?" "Waste him!" Ryan quickly than shot an arrow to the first thug charging after him, and the arrow nailed his hand to the wall. "Ahhhgh!" The thug reached for his hand. "What the- "The thug tried to say before Ryan took him out. The others tried attacking him, but Ryan caught the guy's hand, bent it, and knocked him out, while he attacked the other quickly with his free hand, and the bow. He took a quick look around him. "Wow." He then turned and tried to join the fight as well. Raph fought with Johnny, and was nearly successful, when the thug found a lead pipe and caught Raph off guard. Johnny sprung dirt in Raphs eyes, and before Raph can interact, the thug punched him. Raph fell to the ground and saw Menendez standing before him, about to bring down the lead pipe to his head. "Can't wait to tell the boss that I killed one of the freak-"Before he can finish his sentence, someone grabbed the pipe from his hand, hit him with uppercut holding the pipe, and kicked him in the stomach, which sent Menendez to the ground a few feet away. The thug took a look at who attacked him.

Arrow short theme (Idea for this one I've had in my head.)

Raph looked at the guy in front of him, and it was revealed to be John, wearing the black and white hooded outfit with also eye paint and face mask and walked with tied military boots protectively in front of the red masked turtle. He had a sword sheath strapped around his right shoulder, and it carried a katana timber wolf sword shaped and fit enough to be his size. "You?!" Johnny commented. The other thugs took notice and were about ready to pounce on him, carrying chains, baseball bats, and two Foot ninjas drew their swords. The first thug attacked, but John dodged, caught the arm, did a low kick to the other thug's leg. He threw the thug over and managed to counterattack the other one with the baseball bat, and then fought off the two ninjas. John quickly drew his sword to block and punched the first one. Then dodged the sword attack and hit the ninja behind his head with the handle of the sword. He was surprised himself at how he managed to fight two experienced ninjas, but he didn't show any signs of emotions.

As soon he was done, Johnny tried getting away and ran towards the main building, while another thug had a gun pointed at John. He was about to shoot, but Ryan shot before anything can happen, and then Ryan hit the thug in the face with his bow. "Sorry. No guns allowed.." Ryan jokingly told the unconscious bad guy. Raph looked at the two boys, but mainly at John, who holstered his sword. He didn't know what would've happened if John wasn't there, and felt a little guilt running inside him, but still didn't show it. John turned and walked to talk with the hothead turtle. "What're you doing here, kid?" Raph said, trying to hide the gratitude ness in his voice and make it seem like he wasn't pleased. John took the face mask off, and all was revealed was the eye mask covered underneath the hood and sighed, but he could tell Raph was grateful. "It's nice to see you too." John stated sarcastically, and Raph saw something inside that reminded him of himself. John held out his hand, like he did during the training session with him earlier, hoping he wouldn't push away this time. Raph looked at the hand, and grabbed it, not doing the same thing he had done. John helped Raph up, and then the turtle turned to John with a glare. "I didn't need your help." Raph told him sternly, letting pride be shown. John half smiled and scoffed. "That's not what it looked like from where I'm standing." John quoted what Raph said to him back at the Lair. Raph realized this, knowing now that John was popping off like he did. "John?" a voice made both Raph and John turn their heads. Don and Mikey walked to the three individuals. "Ryan?" Don and Mikey smiled a bit at the sight of the two boys. "Hey." Ryan answered back with a wave. "What're you guys doing here?" Don asked and was indeed happy to see the two boys here. "Here to help you however we can." John answered. "That's awesome dude!" "No, it's not." Everyone turned and saw Casey, who was a little irritated for some reason. "You two kids should've stayed home." Casey grunted as he stretched his arm. "Uh, You're welcome." Ryan sarcastically stated. "I thought I told you to stay home." "That wasn't your call to make for the two of us." John answered Casey, who looked at him like he was backtalking him. "That's not the point. This isn't a game!" "They know that." Someone spoke to him on the intercom in his earpiece, and Casey knew who it was. "April?"

"That's why I allowed them to leave the lair." April said, and she was now shown to be on Don's laptop, with a headset on and there stood Splinter. "Are you kidding me?" "Casey, I understand you want to protect them, but they also can make their own choices. "I can't believe that you would encourage them like this." Casey told her. "I didn't encourage them with anything, but I am supporting their decisions." "That's not- ""Look, we get it. There's a whole lot of bad guys that want to take over this city. And I understand that you only do want us to be safe- "John tried speaking to him. "You two are kids! That's plain and simple." Casey interrupted. "We're no older than they are. How's that any different?" Ryan also said. Casey was about to say something, but John took the liberty to speak. "Casey. There is a whole lot of bad stuff happening now, that even you can admit that there's no talking out of it. You'd said you trusted us." Casey then stayed silent and knew that he had a point. "This is our choice. We can't help you if you don't trust us." Casey and the others looked at each other and knew that he may be right. "What we do is dangerous." Casey told the two of them. "We know. That's why you need all the help." Ryan assured him. Casey didn't like bringing two kids into this, but he couldn't argue with the two boys. It was clear that they made their choice, and there were no more disagreements to be made. "Ok. If you're serious, then I won't say anything else." John and Ryan both looked at each other and were now relaxed. All they wanted was a chance to prove themselves, and now it was given to them. "Thank you." John said. Casey nodded in response. "Donny?" "Well, since that bomb there was a dud, that means the real bomb has to be here somewhere. We have to find that device and shut it down." "Where do we start?" John agreed and was already ready to help. Don smiled at John's determination but became serious once more. He tired contacting Leo again. "Leo? Leo, can you hear me?"

"Donny? Everything ok?" Leo was now hiding away from two guards, who didn't take notice where he was. Leo hid behind a wall to not be seen and talked quietly to not attract attention. "The bombs a fake. The real ones around here, possibly in the building." Don explained. "Figured enough they would try to do that. Any idea where?" "Our main bet is trying to find an office, or a surveillance room." "I passed by one nearly a few minutes ago." After he said this, Leo ran after the two guards, jumped kick a thug in the face, and did a judo one armed throw with the other. Both guards are passed out. "I didn't have a chance to check." "Do you know where?" Don asked him, trying to come up with an idea. "Somewhere on the third floor. Maybe fourth I think." Leo made his way to the next stairwell. "If we can use that surveillance room to determine where the real bomb is, we can have shut it down and save the district." "Sounds like a good idea." "I'll have John and Ryan check it out." Leo then stopped where he was, wondering if he heard right. "John and Ryan are here?" "Yeah. They said they figured it out, and you should've seen them, it was pretty awesome." Don chuckled. Leo laughed silently and was impressed with the two boys not taking anything from what happened in the lair. He didn't know why both of them were here but he was glad they were. "Ok. Well, it's a plan then." "Ok. I'll let the others know."

Don turned to face the team and gave them the plan. "John and Ryan, you'll check out the Surveillance room to see if you can try to find out where the Dragons placed it. We'll remain here and clean up the mess and destroy those guns." "Got it." John and Ryan turned to head to their objective, but before they took off, Raph grabbed John's arm. John was surprised at this and wondered what this was about. "Just don't get any of you killed." Raph wasn't good with words, but he was indeed concerned and did regret some of the things he said. He still had trust issues, but if it weren't for John, he would be a dead turtle by now. John looked down for a second, then looked back up at Raph. "Ok." Raph let go and allowed John to catch up with Ryan. "Everything ok?" April asked through the earpiece. "Yeah." Casey answered her. "Casey? Thank you." Casey was smiling and told her it was "Sure." April then got back to work.

Leo was now near the door that led to the rooftop, ready to face Hun. He opened the door and entered outside, scanned around looking for any signs of the Dragon Leader that's anywhere. 'Is it too late to back out now?' Leo thought to himself. He didn't really think that of course. He was willing to protect the city and his brothers without hesitation, but sometimes there were certain situations where he would get himself into situations that he could or couldn't handle. As he walked around the environment, still scanning his surroundings, he thought he had heard a noise coming from the other side on the roof. He made his way towards the noise, only to be caught off guard by Hun, who grabbed Leo's neck and lifted him up from the ground. Leo had both hands on the arm, trying to be free from his grasp. Hun threw Leo to a nearby brick wall, and smiled smugly, and was now ready to kill. Leo stood up and unsheathed his sword on the right. "Leonardo." "Hun." "I see that your brothers aren't with you this time. What a stupid thing for you to choose. Being alone is what will get you killed." "Yeah, well at least my family will be safe." Hun now shook his head, laughing. "That kind of compassion won't get you anywhere." Leo stood there defensively, and also had a serious look on his face as Hun continued rambling. "You really think that this city deserves to live? Everyone in New York will bow before us!" "By 'us' you mean you and the rest of the dragons, or someone else who's supposedly a lot smarter than you?" Leo smiled as he said that, knowing this would tick off Hun. "No offense, but there's no absolute way that you could've done all of this yourself!" "You shut your mouth, freak!" Hun started charging towards Leo, who also ran towards him, and jumped over him, and barreled roll landed and then started fighting.

Meanwhile

Ryan and John were now inside the building. Most thugs had heard about what was happening outside, and this would give both of them the advantage of using stealth and combat. Ryan was swinging and playing with his bow, and this had John take notice. "What're you doing?" "Playing with the bow." John shook his head, wanting Ryan to be a little more serious. "Hey, just so we're clear, I should probably be the one in front." John turned and then kept on walking forward, but he was now confused. "What?" "Well, I mean I got the bow and am a bad ass with it now, so I was just thinking that since you don't have any firearms or any bows…" Ryan had his hands up in an even motion. "I don't think so." "Hey, I'm the guy with a bow." John looked at Ryan. "I'm older." Ryan couldn't argue with that and continued following John. "You suck." John almost chuckled. and remained focused on the task. "Well, can we discuss codenames and catchphrases, then? Like what should our catchphrases be?" "I don't think this is the time or place to talk about that right now." "Right." After a few seconds of silence, Ryan started back up. "Are you sure? Because it would be cool if we did." John shook his head and noticed something in the corner hallway there. John then saw white lights coming from the room, while the door was a bit closed. John pointed towards the room, and Ryan understood. He got his arrow ready and waited for John's lead. John gave a signal and Ryan then opened the door silently, and they saw a guard sitting and relaxing in his chair, in charge of watching over the cameras. John motioned for Ryan to stay put and took care of the situation. "Hi there." The guard stood quickly and was about to attack, but John also was quick and managed to hit the guy in the throat, using a open palmed hand attack. The guard quickly fell into unconsciousness. "Damn, dude." Ryan stated, knowing this was the second time that he was surprised. John scoffed but became serious once more. "Come on." John walked to the monitor equipment and noticed that there were controls for the camera. "Do you know how to work these?" Curiously, Ryan stood besides John. John didn't listen and just scanned through each monitor. "How are we supposed to find it without any clue where it could—" As Ryan said this, John noticed a few thugs around the same prototype device on the monitor. "Oh, wow look at that." John smiled underneath, but then noticed something off. A number time clock on a monitor near the device. "Oh, hell no." John silently said, but Ryan still heard. "What's wrong?" John didn't answer, and started heading back to the doorway, now running. "Hey, What-"Ryan ran after him. "Ryan, Come on!" "I really do hate it when he does that." Ryan whispered to himself.

Meanwhile
The Turtles and Casey fought off the remaining thugs. Don blocked attacks with his bo staff and counterattacked them to the ground, Mikey used acrobatic agility to tire out his enemies' using jokes, Raph face heavy thugs, blocking and using judo throws, and Casey was now using a baseball bat. Everyone remains focused and did their best to take down the dragons and foot thugs. Casey saw something from the corner of his eye but didn't really grasp on it. He continued fending off a few more thugs, but then suddenly was attacked by a foot ninja, who happened to look familiar to Casey because of his size. "You and your allies will now perish!" This was the same ninja from the pier, and he was now facing the hockey masked vigilante. Casey was ready to face off against his foe, the best way he knew how.

Leo dodged each attack that Hun was throwing at him, and when the opportunity was there,he would do his best to take him down quickly as possible. "If you think I will let you and your mutant freak brothers to ruin everything that me and my master have planned, you must be incredibly stupid!" Leo knew that there was someone higher than Hun who was calling the shots, but the question was who? Hun grabbed a lead pipe nearby, and Leo took a Japanese traditional fighting stance with his sword. Leo blocked each attack successfully and hoped the opportunity would come.

"All Units. Gunshot has been heard at a nearby abandoned fax building on the top of Murray Hill! If any available officer is near, the situation seems to be out of control. Does anyone copy?" A voice appeared from inside Alex's car, and Alex rushed towards the radio. "Copy that, d-60. On our way." Alex called in Diane, who was watching the thugs being rushed in the other officer's car. "Rookie! Nearby shooting at the old Fax place! C'mon!" Diane ran to the passenger seat, and got ready to go, which would be at least a fifteen between twenty-minute drive to where they were.

Five Dragon thugs, two with guns were guarding the bomb and the time clock. No one took notice about two hooded figures lurking in the shadows. Two guards were now near the bomb, and then an arrow that had a rope attached to it, was now caught and noticed by the other thugs, who looked around in confusion. They were to late to spot Ryan land from where he was and used parkour and combat to take out the gunned henchman. John then used hand-to-hand combat with the others, and both successfully took out everyone in the room. "Nice job." John congratulated Ryan. "Thanks." Ryan took in the appreciated comment, and both examined the bomb pretty well. John then immediately called April. "Me and Ryan found it." "Good job guys! Pitching in Donny now!" "Hey guys!" 'Don, we found the bomb, but its on a time clock." John explained to him immediately. "How long?" "Uh, two minutes." "Ok, I'm going to run it step by step. Open the latch on it!" Sounds of fighting were heard from the earpiece. "Don?" John was now concerned. "I'm fine! Did you open the latch?" John looked at Ryan, who opened the latch successfully. "Yes." "Great! I want you now to try and disarm both from bomb itself and the computer directly!" "Wait, how come?" "The bomb by itself will only blow up the building, but-ugh- the computer itself may have an automatic system to level the entire neighborhood!" John understood and moved quickly towards the keyboard. He didn't know computer tech like Don did, but he was still accurate in a sense. "We could sure use a Felicity Smoak right now!" Ryan mentioned, and John had to agree. "Ok I'm logged in." "Good, the wires should be- ""Donny? Donatello? Crap. April, Don's disconnected!" "It's ok, he sent me the schematics." April quickly searched the files and found the blueprints. "It has four wires that need to be pulled out carefully in exact order. Blue, Yellow and white stripes, Red and dark Brown." Ryan quickly got to work carefully and successfully did it.

Meanwhile

"John? John!" Don yelled into the earpiece as he dodged another blow hit the thug. "Should we go help them?" Mikey called out. "No." Don took care of the last thug with a sweep to the leg, and when the thug was down, Don did a ground takedown. "They'll be fine. I hope." "There's no time to hope!" Raph called out. "I at least gave them a chance, Raph." Raph took care of the last thug, catching the punch, bent his wrist and used the handle of his sai to take a blow to the head, then turned to Don. "Yeah, I know, I'm the asshole. Don't havta remind me." Don didn't mean it like that but didn't say anything else. Raph then looked around him and noticed something wrong. "Where's Casey?" Casey was in face with the foot ninja, figuring out what to do. He had an idea that hopefully would work. "This will be your end soon!" The ninja yelled and charged at him, and without thinking, Casey ducked, lifted the ninja up from his legs, and flipped him over, now using his fists to end the ninjas rant. "Goongala." Casey said silently to himself, smiling behind the mask.

"April, the device is down." John told April as he continued on with the keyboard. "Great. What about- ""Already on it. Ryan!" Ryan quickly ran towards to help anyway he can. "There's hopefully a manual on the other side of the computer that can help us log in. Look for a password of some kind. If we do, then we can find a way to shut it down." John quickly explained. "Wait, do you think they would do that?" "I never asked that question until after I've done it." A sound came from the main screen, showing that they now only had a minute left. "Well, this is not how I thought the night was going to go." John whispered to himself in a ruffed voice. "Start searching in that book!" Ryan started through the book, looking for any instructions or password. "Umm… Ok, I got it. It's a four-pin code. John was ready to type. "4526." John typed it in, but when he pressed enter, it was declined. "Ryan?" "That's the one right here! I swear. They must've switched it." Ryan was now a little frightened. "We're screwed man." John tried to think of something. He looked at the keyboard and noticed something weird. Suddenly, he started to see the new password on the keyboard, all highlighted while everything around was dark blue. He began to type. "5…3…7…1." He then pressed enter, and the main screen appeared. John found the time countdown and there was another section, asking for the bomb's deactivation. He moved the mouse towards the bottom screen, clicked on the deactivation card, and along came another pin card. Ryan was watching the whole thing, and he had no idea what the hell John had did, but it seemed to work. John typed in the same code, and it now had shown the bomb was deactivated. Both boys were astonished and were in awe, mostly John. They shut down the bombs and helped save the section of Murray Hill. "How'd you do that?" Ryan asked, hinting at the guessing of the password and John knowing what they were. John couldn't very well explain it, however. "I… don't know." He was to impressed to worry about that now. "Guys, we did it!" Ryan called out on the earpiece. "Are you serious?" April asked. "Hell, yeah we are." John and Ryan smiled high fived each other. "Yes!" April shouted into the microphone, and Splinter seemed to have a relieved and proud look on his face. "Don? Donny?" "John? What happened?" The bombs deactivated. We did it." What?" Don became excited and told both of his brothers. Mikey shouted "Cowabunga!" and Raph just stood there, amazed that finally they had won this battle. Casey had just heard what had happened and lifted his mask from his face and smiled. "Now all we need to do is find Menendez." April reminded the two boys. "Ok. Guys you hear that?" Don said. Ryan agreed, but John then saw something else too. He had a feeling something was wrong… Leo.

Leo fighting Hun

Hun nearly almost to victory.

"Oh no." "What?" Ryan asked. "Ryan, help the others find Menendez." John quickly told him and then made his way to the rooftop. "Where are you going?" Ryan called out in confusion. "I have to go!" John headed his way fats to help Leo, hoping that it wasn't too late.

Meanwhile

Johnny was walking slow but quickly back to the upper floor level, exhausted and in pain. He had hoped that this would be his chance to be accepted into the new role. Once word had got out that the bomb was deactivated by two hooded wannabe vigilantes, Johnny knew that there was no chance in hell that he was going to be accepted. He had seen them fight before, and already he knew exactly who they were. The two boys from the alleyway from yesterday. Ever since their last encounter, Johnny's been plotting revenge. This time, he would make sure they wouldn't walk away again. He would be the one to kill them both, and everyone then would be afraid.

Leo got ready when Hun started charging again, swinging the lead pipe down. He was indeed strong, but Hun was a Two-forty-pound six-foot five man with lean muscle. Hun then stuck a hidden knife he had to Leo's shoulder, which made him grunt loudly in pain. Hun punched Leo, who became off guard, and was unable to fight. Hun grabbed him by his neck and started to choke him. Leo couldn't grasp on anything and couldn't breathe. He tried fighting back, but Hun was too strong. "I expected more from a freak turtle like you." Hun whispered smugly and loud enough for Leo to hear. Unknown to both of them, John entered from the stairwell doorway and saw Hun having one hand around Leo's throat. "Hey!" Hun turned to the voice of John, confused in who this stranger in the hood was. "Let him go now!" John yelled with determination and courage. Hun scoffed and listened to John, dropping Leo to the ground, in which Leo groaned in pain. John glanced a worried look towards Leo, hoping he was alright. "Well, well. Seems like another teenager trying to be a hero." Hun sarcastically applied. As soon as he said that John became serious once more, not showing any signs of weakness on the outside. "Tell me. What exactly can you do?" Hun cracked his neck, and John just unsheathed his sword, and got ready to a fight position. Hun shook his head and charged after him, and John ran quickly towards him too. Hun still carried the pipe and swung and aimed for John's head, which John slid and ducked underneath, blocking the pipe from the kneeling position and attacking quickly and tactically.

Ryan ran towards the nearest exit he could find, hoping to find the others and to find Menendez. He knew that guy would probably look for revenge and was hoping to get caught up with the turtles and Casey. Just as was about to turn, someone shot at him from the end of the hallway. Ryan quickly ran back to get in cover, having an idea who could've shot him. "You two punks ruined everything! Now you'll pay!" Johnny shouted and continued firing. Ryan had to think of a way to catch Johnny off guard. 'What would Batman do? Hell, what would the Green Arrow do?' Ryan thought about it for a second and had an idea. As Johnny reloaded his weapon, he went towards the right direction of the hallway carefully, hoping to catch this punk kid. He aimed down the right, and saw that Ryan wasn't there from his last known spot "I will find you and kill you! Do you hear me?!" Johnny yelled down the hallway. Ryan tapped his shoulder, which made Johnny turn around, and Ryan used his bow to knock him out. Johnny fell to the ground "Yeah. Your voice carries." Ryan stated proudly, knowing and seeing that he was the new archer in town. The Green Arrow would be proud.

John blocked each attack from the pipe as quickly as possible, and knew that he had to find a way to beat Hun, but how? Hun knocked John on the concrete wet floor, and tried to do a ground takedown, but John dodged, and quickly got back up to standing position. Both opponents had their weapons locked in against each other, but Hun spun John's sword around and disarmed him. John used a disarming technique that he had learned from his father a long time ago. He tossed the lead pipe to the side and got ready for another attack. Hun charged again, and John used a few series of hand-to-hand blocks he had also learned and adapted to. John then parried Hun's right hand and threw a straight punch to Hun's nose. Hun backed away for a second and smiled smugly. John looked confused, and then realized something. "Oh Crap." Hun charged again, and John didn't interact fast enough. Hun picked John up and body slammed him to the ground. John was now in pain and did not know what to do. "I own every district and have spent every inch of wealth and the power to let all New Yorkers know that I am in control. I'll own this town, and everyone will know my name in all of history. What do you have to say- "

John interrupted Hun with a kick to where no man should ever have to feel. Hun then bent down in pain, and John away from Hun and stood above him. "I would say find another career option." John then performed a final blow to Hun's face, and this made the leader fall back and hit the floor. John was wondering if he actually did win, but Hun was still conscious when he pulled out a small smoke pellet, threw it on the ground, and vanished from sight. John turned away, covered his face from the smoke and looked around for any signs of Hun. He lost him, but they would meet again. John then heard a groan coming from the other side and saw Leo trying to get back up. John ran towards him. "Leo!" He helped his blue masked friend with the knife. "Leo, hey. I got you, C'mon." John lifted him up when he felt comfortable to do so. Both were now standing, and Leo casted a look up and down at John. John was wondering what Leo would say, hoping that he wasn't angry. "I like the suit." Leo smiled and chuckled. John laughed a little at his response, relieved that he didn't say anything else, then nodded in gratitude. "Thanks." John stated and knew that everything was now ok.

A few moments later, both John and Leo headed downstairs, and saw all the dragons and foot soldiers all on the ground, where Raph, Don, Mikey and Casey all piled every thug on top of each other. Leo smiled at the sight, and everyone took notice at Leo holding his shoulder. "Leo?" Don rushed over, seeing Leo holding his arm to where he was stabbed. "Hey." Leo chuckled nervously. "What happened?" "No, it's ok. Really, just had a little run-in action with the big guy." "Jeez, Leo, we told you he could've killed you." "Yeah. I was just lucky this guy showed." Leo looked at John with gratitude. Raph caught notice of this, and thought about all the things he had said, but didn't show it not really wanting to show what he actually felt. Just then, sounds of two people were walking, where it was seen with Ryan and the district leader, Johnny Menendez, tied up. "I believe someone ordered a package." Ryan jokingly stated as he put Menendez to his knees. "Wait, how did-""Yeah, sorry I couldn't help. This psycho shot at me and I had to deal with it the way I knew how." "Dude, that must've been awesome!" Mikey exclaimed. "Yeah, man you should've seen it. He started shooting right and I was trying to find a way to get to him and—" "Great work tonight." Leo said, and Ryan stopped talking. "All of you." Everyone, even Raph who looked away, had an amused smile on their faces. Ryan was indeed proud of himself as well. Then he joined the others in helping pile up the remaining thugs, but no one noticed Menendez starting to pull out a knife from his sleeve and cut the ropes on his wrist. When successful he hoped to run away from the scene and go back to Hun, begging for a chance. Before he made his close getaway, Johnny felt something hit his leg, and fell to the ground.

He looked up in pain and agony, and saw Ryan, who shot an arrow towards his leg. Everyone was surprised at the sudden reaction and watched as Menendez rambled. "Goddammit." Ryan started towards the district leader to tie him back up, but John put a hand to his shoulder, motioning that he would handle it. As John made his way to that direction, Menendez ranted out towards the vigilantes. "You freaks won't get away with this!" John noticed the same knife on the ground Menendez used to escape, picked it up, and put it in his back pocket. He wasn't going to use it against an already hurt dragon thug. "After tonight, Hun will come back. He'll find a way to get what he wants, and he wants all of New York to burn! Him and his master, they'll do whatever it takes to achieve that goal, even when you're all dead!" Johnny started cackling freely and had a devilish look on his face. "What do you think you all can do then, huh?! What do you say to that, freaks?!" The gang leader shouted at the four turtles, who were curious who he exactly was talking about. Everyone was confused, but Leo looked at John, who was standing before the gang leader, and was wondering what he was planning to do. John knew one way he can get Johnny to shut up and did the only thing no one expected him to do. "Johnny Menendez." The gang leader looked directly at the hooded vigilante who had called his name. "You have failed this city." John stated, and this made the gang leader continue looking with confusion. "What?" John threw a massive punch his head, knocking the gang leader back into unconsciousness, and everyone was surprised and amazed at what happened, even Raph. John turned towards the others, where Ryan was now standing close to speak with him. "You've failed this city', huh?" Ryan remarked with a smirk, knowing that John had said a catchphrase. John couldn't help but form a smile, knowing Ryan would not let this go. All that mattered was that the city was now safe. They couldn't believe it.

A few minutes later

Alex and Diane had arrived at the fax building, where cops and reporters were already on the scene. Both detectives were confused at what just happened and wondered who could've done any of this. A few news reporters were now rolling live, telling their versions of the events that transpired, and officers placed a few thugs in handcuffs in the backseat of their own vehicles. Alex then saw the Dragon district leader about to be placed in custody and went to ask him some questions. Alex bent down to come face-to-face with the now angry Johnny Menendez. "What the hell happened to you?" Johnny didn't answer the detective's question and was deep in thought, with an angered look on his face. Alex let the officers drive off with him and looked around the environment. Diane was seen asking a few eyewitnesses some questions, and Alex stood alone. Just then, something in the far corner caught his eye. An arrow was placed in a steel wall and attached to it was a piece of paper. Alex took the arrow out, opened the note which said:

To whom it may concern,

There is still hope for this city.

Alex looked up and could've sworn he saw a group of people highlighted by the moon that were running away. Alex then had hope in his eyes, knowing that it was a group of vigilantes that had helped stop the operation and ruin the dragon's plans. This formed a smile upon his face and was starting to think that maybe there was hope for this city after all.

10:45 p.m.

The lair.

Everyone was gathered around Don's lab, and all were feeling something they may have not been able to feel for a long time: Hope. Don scratched off Menendez's name off the board, and he now had everyone's attention. "Everyone, say goodbye to Johnny Menendez, who will most likely serve at least forty or fifty years behind bars." "That should get us somewhere now." Casey mentioned. "So far tonight, you guys have done a lot more then ever." April reminded all of them. "It's a good start, but we still have a few ways to go to." Leo quickly shared. "Leonardo is right. This battle has been won, but there will be many others." Splinter stated and knew that this was just the beginning. "Well, we couldn't have done it tonight without some help from our new friends! You guys were awesome!" Mikey exclaimed and looked at both John and Ryan, who were now in their regular clothes. "I don't know if we can take all the credit." Two boys were being humble and not wanting any credit. "If it weren't for you two, we wouldn't have got anywhere close with the dragons. This means a lot." Don assured Ryan. "Yeah, even I gotta say that I'm impressed." Casey stated. "Which is why we needed to discuss with you two about what we can do from here on out." Leo walked towards them. "What we can do is figure out a way to get you guy's home, or you have the option to stay here and help us. April is able to provide you flight tickets back to Raton, but It's your call." Leo spoke to John, who then gave it some thought. "They won't be much help if they go, dude." Mikey sadly stated. John had already given it some thought, and looked at Ryan, who had hope in his eyes that they could stay here. "I don't think Raton's going to miss us for a while. We're fine where we're at now."

Leo started to form a small smile. 'I was hoping you'd say that." John smiled back. "Wait, you mean it?" Ryan asked his best friend. "Yeah. So, I guess we'll both need a codename." Ryan was now excited and screamed for joy inside. "I'm not sure we can come up with good codenames for you two, but we can try." Don told the two of them. "It's alright, I've been trying to come up with one since I put this uniform on. What do you guys think about 'The Archer'?" Everyone casted a look towards Ryan. "Seriously?" John asked him. "Well, the Green arrow and Red arrow wouldn't fit, and I think Gray Arrow sounds crappy." John rolled his eyes and laughed, while everyone did smile at the joke. "I like it." Mikey said. "Thank you!" Ryan said. "The Archer will do for now." Leo assured him, and Ryan nodded. Leo then looked towards John. "And you?" John gave it some thought. He remembered a name he picked up from a king James bible from 1611. Something to do with a specific bird. The hood kind of did remind him of that. "I remember my dad uses to say to me that I reminded him of a little Hawk, how I would always move like one during training. When I got older, I heard a name from an old king James bible that I saw that inspired me. A Nighthawk." "Nighthawk huh?" Leo asked, a little impressed. John nodded. "Yeah." "That actually fits you." Ryan told him. "You think so?" "Sure." John smiled at the response. "Ok. Master Splinter has given me orders to pass onto you two as well. Training begins early at 7:00 a.m. in the morning, and 5:00 in the evening. I won't lie to you. This will be rough. Some days you may hate it, but I promise you two, it will be worth it in the end. Also, when we are on patrol, we stick together, but if the situation changes, I would advise to have back up with you. Remember, you're not the only ones out there, and we are a team now. Donny will be in charge of handling ideas or requests to be added if need be." Leo explained to the two new highly members, and both understood very well. "Any questions?" "Well, for starters, you said upgrades?" Ryan asked, which had everyone laughed a little but became serious once more. "Leo?" Leo looked towards John. "Thank you." "Welcome to the team, guys." Leo stated and left to speak with Splinter, while Casey and April walked towards Don's lab to help gather any other information. "I can't believe this." Ryan formed his left hand to a fist bump towards John, who accepted without hesitation. As Ryan was starting to speak to Mikey, John turned and noticed Raph in the far-off corner, not wanting to be seen or heard from by anyone. Raph then started to head back to the garage, and John decided that a conversation with him was something that needed to be done.

Raph was about to open the door to his garage, when John caught up with him. "Hey." Raph half turned and looked at the young boy. 'Can I speak with you for a bit?" John asked him. Raph was hesitant, not wanting to deal with the two new strangers in his home, especially the Christian one, but then he decided to listen rather than argue. "What do you want?" The red masked turtle asked him, with a slight annoyance tone. 'Well, I uh… I just wanted to say that I know there's been a whole mishap ever since this morning in the dojo, and you have no idea what to think of me at the moment." Raph crossed his arms, and so desperately wanted this to be over and done with, but he continued on listening. "While it was decent advice about the wide-open stance, it wasn't my decision to call you out on that. I mean, it was, but it was the wrong one to pick." John laughed a little nervously, and now placed his hands in his pockets. "I understand your mixed feelings about what happened, about me, but I just… You really do have nothing to worry about." Raph listened and gave it a little bit of a thought of what John was saying. "I know you want to protect your family and friends, and believe me, I would've probably done the same if it was someone I didn't know well, and all. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I understand what its like to have the habit of protection towards those around you."

Raph looked up at John and was starting to think a different perspective. "I don't expect you to welcome me yet, and I know you don't trust me, but really, you have nothing to worry about. If tonight didn't prove that, then I'm hoping that maybe next time it will." John finished what he had to say, and Raph just stood there thinking to himself about the things he should've done but didn't do. "Anyway, that's… that's all I came to tell you." John started to leave and find the others, but Raph needed to say something first. "Hey kid." John turned to the sound of Raph's voice. Raph didn't quite know how to say thank you and wasn't the fondest of apologizing and admitting he was wrong. "I'm really sorry about your parents." That was all Raph managed to say, but John looked at him and knew that there was a heart inside the angry one after all. It was a slow process, but it was something. He smiled and nodded in gratitude and went ahead to find Ryan. Raph stayed where he was for a second, thinking that Casey and Leo may have been right. Not wanting to let his guard down still, but maybe things can be better if he was willing to give the two boys a chance. When he was near the kid, Raph felt something inside him that seemed like a spark. He couldn't figure out what it was but would soon. Raph decided then that he would trust the other's instincts and, while still being cautious, he would support whatever decisions they made.

John stopped and looked at the scenery around him. Then takes a look at Leo meeting with splinter. Leo looks back and smiles and greets John with a nod. John uses a two-finger salute, which causes Leo to chuckle. John knew exactly now where he belonged. And it was all thanks to God.

"Unstoppable"- The score.

"Destiny is a real funny thing. Sometimes it can take you places where you

don't expect to be, meet new friends and become someone you never realized

who you'd become." John narrates as the song plays.

Casey and April are laughing and talking about the events. Casey rambles on, but no words come out as the song is playing. April just sits there and smiles at him.

Leo and Splinter are discussing tonight's events as well and are shown to be having tea.

"Sometimes, we need people in our lives to help show us the path we choose."

Verse 1

There's a moment in your bones when

When the fire takes over

Blood is running Heart is pumping

As the battle gets closer.

Raph is working on his motorcycle, revealing it to be a dark red sports touring cycle.

"While others cannot fully begin to understand, they do have hope for things to be better."

(Ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh)

They could say what they want now

(Ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh)

Cause we'll be screaming out

Don is looking through old files on the screen, with a small grin on his face. He was happy to know that there was still hope for their city. His family and new friends would make sure of that.

Chorus 1

We can be heroes everywhere we go

We can have all that we ever want

Swinging like Ali, knocking out bodies

Standing on top like a champion

Alex is at his desk, taking a look at the arrow he had picked up at the scene, and had begun to feel hope for their city. Few vigilantes were at work an to help fight.

Keep your silver, give me that gold

You'll remember when I say

We can be heroes everywhere we go

Keeping us down is impossible

Cause we're unstoppable

Post-chorus

Oh whoa, we're unstoppable

Oh whoa, we're unstoppable

Mikey and Ryan are seen now having a great time, but Ryan started to feel a little something more. He was glad to be part of a team that wanted to make a difference. Along side his best friend, John, in whom he trusted, the battle wages on.

John looks off in the distance at the scenery. He moves his hand to the cross he was wearing, and thanked God for the things he had done, even if it didn't make sense.

Bridge

Ooh, they can say what they want now

Ooh, cause we'll be screaming out

"Everyone deserves a chance to try and be something more. A friend told me that. He made a promise to help me figure things out, but I made another promise; to save this city."

Chorus

We can be heroes everywhere we go

We can have all that we ever want

Swinging like Ali, knocking out bodies

Standing on top like a champion

"My name is John Gentry, and this… this is a new beginning."

Keep your silver, give me that gold

You'll remember when I say

We can be heroes everywhere we go

Keeping us down is impossible

We're unstoppable

Oh whoa, we're unstoppable

Oh whoa, we're unstoppable

Oh whoa, we're unstoppable

Foot headquarters

11:35 p.m.

Hun walked inside the room, feeling great tons of guilt for having their plans fail. It was all because of these new vigilantes that have taken place. Hun was called to his master's side to discuss the past events, and he could tell that master was not happy. When he entered, he saw two ninjas standing opposite sides of someone hidden in the shadows. "Master." Hun kneeled down before the man in the shadows. "Tonight's events have not gone what we'd expected." "Master, it was those ninjas again, only this time, they weren't alone." The man in the shadows reached for some knife in the corner of his desk. "Yes. My ninja has told me what happened. You failed to uphold our plans due to interferences with not only the turtles, but two more individuals wearing two hoods. One of them even held a bow!" "Master, Menendez was the one who failed. I only did as you asked." Hun quickly explained, hoping to take the heat off of him. The man stood from where he sat and approached him. He was an elder Japanese man who looked like he had seen war, and triumphed. "Yes. You have done as requested. But now two new vigilantes have already taken their place to stand against me." "I will find who they are, Master. When I do, I will take care of it." Hun convinced the man to let him have another chance. The man from the shadows turned to Hun and placed some metal claw with knives on his right hand. "I know you won't, but there is another problem we need fixed. Kare o tsuredasu!" The foot listened to the order, and a few seconds later, he brought out Johnny Menendez, and Hun was confused as to why he is here. "I thought he was already in custody." Hun asked the man, and the man turned to face his most trusted ally. "I have ways that you wouldn't understand." The man then turned to johnny, who was whimpering in fear.

"Sir, Sir I can explain…" Johnny tried to say. 'Enough!" "Master, please… I… I won't fail again." "I know. You won't fail me again." The man then stabbed Johnny in his chest, which Johnny felt imeddiate amounts of pain, and struggled to breath. "Never." The man stated, and Johnny took his last breath. Hun was surprised, but didn't flinch at all, for he knew Johnny was a coward. Johnny's head fell to the floor, and he still had his eyes open. The man wiped the blood from his claws and turned to face Hun. "Find out what you can about these 'vigilantes.'" "Yes, Master Saki." Hun turned to leave the building and headed back to his headquarters. The man, who is also known as Oroku Saki, looks over the city, eager to learn more about these 'hood vigilantes' that have now interfered with tonight. Whoever they were, they would face the same fate Johnny had received. When he faces them, he will end their lives. So began another journey in the city that never sleeps.

TMNT logo appears, with an Arrow outro sound effect.

Hey guys! This was my favorite chapter to write in the first pilot episode, for its fight scenes and action-packed drama, this proves this story and other ones will be great. The fight scenes were inspired by me from the tv show Arrow, the Batman arkham and Assassin's creed game series. I hoped to make this story my favorite, and this is only the beginning of John Gentry's story. I already have a few ideas for other characters for other stories, but this one will be the one that started it all. Other fan favorite characters of mine will also be part of this story, and other characters with the other stories. You shall see what ive got planned! Muahaha! No just kidding, that was the worst evil laugh. Haha, but in all seriousness, thank you guys so much for reading my story. Please leave a comment and review in the story, and please let me know what you think. Also, Oroku Saki, or the shredder, would be played by Ken Watanabe. If any questions, feel free to ask me. Thank You guys again and I will go ahead and work on the next episode! Love you all 3000, Cowabunga, and you have not failed this audience! Sorry, trying to sound cool. Lol
