~Lockdown in Detention~

IX

*Edward*

We all pulled away from each other in our group hug and stood around for a minute. Bella cuddled right back into my side with her arms wrapped around my waist. I noticed that Alice stuck close beside Jasper with their hands ghosting near each other. They wanted to hold hands but were stopping themselves for some odd reason - but I knew off the bat they had a thing for each other. The little pixie's gravitated to one of the Hale twins ever since we escaped from the old classroom. Emmett was hanging near Rosalie as well, but they only chose to just stand close to one another - nothing that would lead to them holding hands or having arms thrown over each other. I could tell Emmett had a crush on the old Ice Queen that was Rose. It seemed like he warmed up to her more after these four had their night together in the Principal's office, and of course after having learned her tragic past. Now it seemed like he was standing close to her to offer protection to her. And she was accepting it.

It's been such a strange turn of events within the past twenty-four hours.

"So, what do we do now?" Jasper asked out loud, breaking the silence that fell over us.

We took a moment to stand there and mull over our limited options, but suddenly the silence was cut short - by a loud collective grumbling from all of our stomachs.

"I think we need some damn grub." Emmett announced, frowning down at his stomach.

"Well we didn't eat this morning." Rosalie pointed out to him and he smirked down at her.

"Fair point sweet cheeks."

"The damn vending machine food though that we've been eating isn't really all that satisfying to me anymore." Bella whined below me and I squeezed her waist.

"So what? You want to raid the school kitchen for food?" Alice asked with wide eyes, looking as if that was something so taboo to come up with. Emmett, Jasper and Rosalie pursed their lips as they thought through that idea, but Bella grinned.

"You read my mind, pixie."

"I think that's not a bad idea." I added in as I was going to stand behind my woman with her idea. She looked up at me with a bright grin and I bent down to kiss the top of her head.

"I'm for it - hell Bella's a mad woman in the kitchen man!" Emmett roared happily then, quickly agreeing to the plan.

"Well we sure would have a lot more options at our disposal." Jasper agreed next, bumping his fist with Emmett's since he was happy we had another one on board with this plan. Rosalie and Alice looked to still be hesitant towards this idea, as they were likely worried that we'd get into more trouble using food from the school to eat. But our stomachs growled again and they sighed.

"I'm too damn hungry so I'm up for it."

"Same."

They readily agreed once they realized their hunger outweighed their worries.

"Let's get moving then, slowpokes." Bella ordered and grabbing me now by my arm, she pulled me forward in the direction of the cafeteria. Jasper and Alice followed right behind us, with Emmett and Rosalie taking up the rear.

"You cook Bella?" Rosalie asked out loud tentatively from the back, and Bella looked up at me with a surprised glance; I don't think she was still used to the fact that she, Emmett, Jasper and Rosalie were trying to get past their nasty past attitudes with one another - and the fact that Rosalie was being nice versus hurling insults at my woman, was still jarring to her pretty mind.

"Uh yeah I kind of do..." Bella answered her after a minute, looking a bit shy as if she was bashful in her secret being found out.

Emmett snorted. "Kind of? Please - Izzy's a menace. She knows how to cook your socks off. She's practically cooked for so many functions at our apartment for everyone at the complex." Bella began to blush while we continued our trek to the cafeteria, while I heard behind us the others whistling and 'wow'-ing at hearing this new piece of information.

"First you're amazingly talented with art and then I hear you're a fantastic cook? Is there anything you can't do?" I whispered to her after I bent down to be level with her cute pierced ear, and she snickered up at me.

"I can totally do this amazing thing with my tongue..." Bella began to joke while holding up her fingers to list off her 'many' talents. I barked out a laugh at her and she joined me, which confused the others behind us. "Oh don't mind us up front, we're just being stupid." Bella reassured them and they shrugged their shoulders, not bothering to pester her.

We soon arrived to the high school's cafeteria, which is where I noticed out the windows that it was storming outside. It was pouring rain, a pretty heavy downfall at that, and the wind was blowing; nothing too hard but it was evident that it wasn't a normal breeze. And I could heard a distant rumbling outside, indicating there was thunder going on. "How did we not notice the storm?" Alice asked from behind me, her tone sounding worried. The air in the cafeteria felt a bit chilly as it seemed that either the air conditioning system was still running, or it was off and the cold air from outside was seeping into the cafeteria. Bella shivered slightly next to me and I wrapped an arm over her shoulders to rub my hand up and down on her skin in hopes I could create friction that'd warm her up just a bit.

"I think we were way too caught up with our showering and storytelling to notice, Pixie." Emmett teased her lightly, and I looked over my shoulder to see my new friends who were watching the storm outside carefully. Alice looked frightened by the sight of it but no doubt she wasn't used to this since she was new to town. Those of us who have lived here for all of our life knew how bad it could get. But they looked a bit apprehensive to it since the wind didn't seem to be normal.

"Well we're inside so we're fine and safe." I told the group, sighing. I've been caught out in storms for most of my life at this point that any chance I could take to find shelter is a godsend in my eyes. Between having been caught with horrible thunderstorms and blizzards here in Forks, I was lucky in my book that I still made through it all just fine. Bella knew what I was secretly talking about and wrapped her arms around my waist again to give me a tight squeeze. Jasper reached over and clapepd a hand onto my shoulder in comfort, offering a reassuring smile. I returned it to him in thanks.

"Alright, lets not focus on the weather outside, lets get some food in our bellies damn it!" Emmett demanded then, breaking the moment with his usual humor. We laughed at him but nodded our heads before heading towards the direction of the kitchen. I pushed on the door and of course, it was locked.

"That's to be expected." Rosalie pointed out when she saw my frustration apparent on my face.

"Should we try lockpicking?" Alice asked, biting her bottom lip.

"Nah, I think we can bust it down. Ed?" Emmett sauntered up to the door with me and raised a dark eyebrow up at me in invitation.

"Push on it?" I asked, to which the behemoth nodded. Bella and the others stepped back to give us some room while we backed up some before we poised ourselves with our shoulders directed at the door; we were ready to tackle into it and hopefully with our combined strength we'd get the damn door open. It wasn't like the other doors to the door after all. The classroom doors were a simple wooden door that could easily give way to kicking in. But the door to the kitchen of the cafeteria was a heavier metal door. "On 3. 1... 2... 3!" I shouted to Emmett before we charged and heaved ourselves against our obstacle. It gave way once we slammed into it and it swung open, hitting the counters inside. Emmett and I whooped in victory and I heard the others clapping and cheering outside the kitchen.

"Nice work, brother!" Emmett boasted with me, clapping his huge hand onto my shoulder harshly.

"Yeah... ow..." I winced with a smirk, rotating my shoulder. The damn door was heavy as hell and hard so slamming myself into it wasn't exactly pleasant. Bella came to stand next to me and rubbed my shoulder to help work out the pain. I gave her a warm smile and she winked up at me. Then I turned my head to take in our surroundings. The kitchen was big enough for all of us and simple in its design. One-toned tiles at our feet, and matching tiled walls, it was clean in here thankfully. The counters were stainless steel as were the stoves and fryers. Off towards the back right corner of the kitchen was a huge steel door that I believe was the door to the fridge or freezer. Next to it was another metal door, and to the back left was a wooden standard door. Alice found a light switch and pressed it which bathed the kitchen in a white light from the lights above us that began to hum.

"Lets spread out then and see what we can work with." Bella ordered. I followed her towards the stoves while I heard what the others were doing. Alice and Jasper were going to look at the metal door while Emmett and Rosalie were going to be looking at the huge metal door. Bella went to the stoves which when we came closer to it we realized it was a gas stove. "Well if the storm gets worse at least, we still have this here that we can make food." Bella told me while I looked around the nearby shelves. I found a long-nosed lighter and held it up for her to see. "Excellent, this will help in getting flames going." Bella added and leant up to kiss my jaw.

"I think we found the dry pantry." Alice announced. We left the stoves and walked over to where they were; they had managed to get the door open and I peered inside to see what all was in there. Alice and Jasper were inspecting the shelves to which I could see dry goods like instant mash potatoes, dry pasta, instant mac and cheese, flour, sugar, baking soda - and a lot more. "I can't believe this kitchen is actually stocked with all of this." Alice breathed in astonishment while holding up a box of noodles.

"And yet half the time we get slop." Jasper said dryly, frowning.

"Slop like bad freezer shit." Rosalie cut in then; I turned around to see her outside the door and she was holding up a box of frozen pizza that was bent and flattened. "Emmett got the freezer open." she informed us while we left the dry goods pantry to look over and see the huge metal door was now open. Emmett must've just gotten that open since I didn't hear it opening at all, much less him struggling.

"How bad is bad freezer shit?" Bella asked while she took the frozen pizza from her.

"Pretty bad." Emmett said and walked out of the freezer. In his arms was a box of tomatoes the school thought to freeze in its whole state - and some of them I could see some dark green splotches on while most of them looked freezer burned. I grimaced at the sight.

"Ew don't tell me they're freezing rotting crap." Jasper muttered while he stared at the discolored tomatoes.

"Not all of it is rotten in there - some are still decent by the looks of it. Just some of the crap they have in there they didn't take the time to properly store it away." Emmett told us, shrugging his huge shoulders.

"Is there no normal fridge in here?" Bella asked with slight annoyance in her tone. I looked around and then spotted two huge fridges along the wall in front of us. She looked with me and snickered. "Oh nevermind, we're just blind. Ladies help me raid those. Boys, I've got an idea of what we can work on making for us to eat. Get some pasta noodles." Bella ordered then before she headed towards the fridges before us. Rosalie and Alice followed after her while Jasper and I turned back towards the dry goods pantry to get what she asked. Emmett closed up the freezer and joined us in getting the noodles just as I heard Bella shout out, "Get any pasta sauce that's in there by the way. I can't do it by scratch sadly."

"So I guess just simple pasta's on the menu." Jasper pointed out while digging around on the shelves.

"At least we're getting food in us man. Take what you can get." Emmett told him with a chuckle and I voiced my agreement. Any bit of food is going to be perfect; when growing up in the environment that I had, I was never given the choice to be picky. We grabbed up as many boxes of pasta that we could see while Jasper got big jars of red pasta sauce down. We entered the kitchen to set them down on the counter tops just as the girls brought over their spoils they found in the fridge. Alice and Rosalie had some cheese they found that needed to be shredded, while Bella found ground beef. "Aw sweet! Meat!" Emmett cheered loudly, and Bella rolled her eyes at him.

"It's just going to be simple for now but I want to make some pizza dough once we're done eating because I can try making some pizzas for us later." Bella told us and we all looked at her floored.

"Seriously? Pizza from scratch?" Rosalie asked her in awe, and Bella nodded her head.

"No way in fucking hell would I want to eat any of those pizzas you found - probably freezer burned to absolute shit at this point." Bella said bluntly.

"Put us to work then love." I said to her and the others looked at me with scrunched up faces, while Bella smiled at me. "What?" I asked the group when they wouldn't let up on their staring, feeling my cheeks grow hot.

"Love? Is that a pet name?" Emmett teased, snickering at me when I felt my blush grow. Bella glared darkly up at her huge friend.

"Er... Yes?"

"You're such a pansy my man."

"Emmy, shut the fuck up and leave my boyfriend alone." Bella growled at her behemoth friend, scowling darkly up at him. I smiled broadly over at her for the fact she called me her boyfriend. Alice and Rosalie giggled - Rosalie actually giggled at this rather than getting pissy - while Jasper laughed at her harsh glaring as well as the nickname she called him. Emmett glared down at her now for revealing this silly nickname, to which Bella only smirked up at him in response. "Just as I thought. Now then. Ladies if you could shred the cheese, I'll love you forever. Boys, you get some pots going for the pasta noodles. E, come with me while we brown the meat." Bella instructed everyone in a no-nonsense tone. Everyone fake saluted to her in jest which she rolled her eyes at.

We separated from one another to our tasks, which first on our lists was finding pots and pans, and other kitchen devices that we needed to achieve our meal. "Hey, while were doing this, lets talk about our likes and dislikes! I want us to start getting to know each other!" Alice called out then behind me while Bella and I dug through the cabinets for some pans.

"Sure."

"I'm up for that too."

"Hell yeah let me in on all your darkest and most embarrassing stories!"

I heard the varied responses from the group behind me when I found a pan finally. I hummed in victory and held it up for Bella to inspect. It was fairly large and flat, and I saw she had found a similar one too. She did have a lot of ground beef at least so if anything we could have a lot for our meal. Bella called out to the others that she was up for this game of getting to know one another.

"Alright so... favorite type of music and band?" Alice asked the first question.

"Easy. Rock, punk are my go-to's. Uh... Metallic, ACDC, Led Zeppelin." Emmett answered first while he filled his huge pot with water, Jasper standing behind him.

"Same as Em with me though y'all found my Alice Cooper doll earlier so you know I like him too." Bella chimed in while she opened up the packages of beef. I set about starting up the stove.

"I'm fine with that type of music too, but I like classical and jazz." I said to the group.

"I'm up for some jazz and classical, but I got to say some country is also up my alley." Jasper stated and I, along with Bella and Alice looked over at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You do not give off country vibes whatsoever, Hale." Emmett teased while walking over to another stove top - a flat top though - to put his pot of water to boil. Bella and I chuckled at his teasing when Jasper glared at him.

"Nah, Jasper's always been into that genre. Before our granddad died, he had a ranch out in Texas that he'd take us there sometimes to ride horses and run around in his fields of wheat or corn depending on the season." Rosalie added in and when I looked over at her to see she was frowning again.

"I'm sorry to hear about that with your grandpa." Alice said sympathetically next to her while she worked on grating some cheese. Bella also agreed with the sentiments to Rosalie and Jasper, who gave them small smiles in return.

"No worries, we came to terms with it when we were younger since we didn't get much time with him. But our grandad would usually always play some country music when we'd visit him - be it on a radio or he'd sing us a tune on his guitar." Jasper cut in then, carrying his pot over to where Emmett was.

"I like pop music mostly, with some classical too." Rosalie said then, getting the conversation back on topic.

"I love pop music too!" Alice chirped, happy that we were back on a lighter subject. "I love the boybands from the 90s and 00s so much, but I love Britney, Katy Perry and Pink." Alice added and Rosalie nodded her head enthusiatically to her comment to show she enjoyed those bands too.

"Favorite movies?" Rosalie asked then.

"I love anything that's a Rom-Com, or anything that's just a romance story. Like Titanic of course, or The Notebook. But I loved 'Love Actually', 'Letters to Juliet'...' Alice immediately began to prattle off movie after movie as soon as Rosalie asked this to the group. She was talking a mile a minute with multiple movie titles; Rosalie was nodded to each one and commenting on every one finding that they both liked each movie she was listing. Jasper was smirking when he listened to her, but Emmett was just looking bored at every single title being called out.

"Booooring! All chick flicks man." Emmett whined, cutting Alice off from her list of movies. Rosalie and Alice turned to glare darkly up at him, and I laughed when I saw Emmett blanched and shifted on his feet. Bella and I went about breaking the meat down during all of this and was beginning to move the meat over into the pans when he cut off Alice.

"Alright, Mr. Dude-bro - give me a movie you like." Rosalie challenged him with a blond eyebrow raised.

Emmett raised up a hand and began to count off some movies. "'Scary Movie', 'American Pie', 'Superbad', 'Step Brothers', 'Get Smart', 'Meet the Parents'. Just to name a few but there's so many more." he listed. Jasper was nodding to several of them but the ladies were scrunching their faces to his choices.

"Typical." Alice bluntly stated when hearing the movies and Emmett frowned, while Jasper laughed.

"What about you Bella?" Jasper asked then which Bella looked over her shoulder from her focus on browning the beef.

"Not going to lie, I love some of the movies Emmett listed. But... I hate to admit this - some of the movies Alice listed I like too. But also, I like some horror movies." Bella told the group. I noticed that Emmett was snickering behind his hand when he heard that Bella admitted she liked some of the 'chick flicks' the girls liked. Bella stuck her tongue out at him and said, "Fuck off, Emmy." This caused everyone to laugh once again at their bickering.

"Ed?" I grimaced when Rosalie asked me.

"Uh... I don't have a favorite." I muttered, reaching up to scratch the back of my neck awkwardly when they looked at me confused. "Homeless, remember? Couldn't get into theaters, never could watch them at home because duh no TV..." I trailed off when they stared; it was only until I explained that they let out of noises of agreement.

"Sorry Edward, shouldn't have put you on the spot like that." Rosalie said to me apologetically but I waved her off.

"Well you know what this means?" Bella stated with happiness in her tone. I looked over to see her pausing in breaking up the meat with her wooden spoon that she had found. "When you get to our place, I am sitting you down and we're having a whole movie marathon." Bella told me and I smirked at her.

"Oh hell yeah! Movie night!" Emmett whooped.

"You guys could totally come over to my place and we'll make it a huge group thing!" Alice squealed, pausing to jump up and down to clap her hands excitedly. We laughed at her antics.

"I'm so down for that!" Jasper cheered.

"I think that'd be really great if we can meet up." Rosalie timidly replied, but Alice latched onto her arm and made her jump up and down with her to which she laughed along but joined her in the excitement. The pixie's energy was infectious.

"I'm game for it as long as that's fine with your parents, Alice." I told her and she nodded rapidly.

"I'm more than confident in saying they'll let me have you all over for a movie night."

"Izzy and Ed though would need to be chaperoned - I bet they'd be getting handsy the moment the lights go out." Emmett teased raucously. Bella growled and with her spoon, she picked up some meat and flung it over at Emmett angrily; we all laughed at the action while Emmett yelped from the hot meat touching his skin. "Hey fuck you Iz! It's the truth!" Emmett defended himself, pouting while we laughed louder at the exchange. Bella only stuck her tongue out at him again in response before she went back to her task.

From there we flowed from one topic to the next in finding out our likes and dislikes while we cooked our food. The conversation was kept light and constant so we could find out more about one another. We were different people with different likes but we found out we had similar likes here and there that we could talk about more in depth that led us to multiple tangents before we'd get back to focusing on the main objective. We finished getting everything cooked in no time; Emmett and Jasper while in the middle of their own heated debate of what sport was better or what team was better at what sport, had gotten the noodles cooked and the pasta sauce heated. Rosalie and Alice bonded over fashion easily with their favorite clothing brands while they helped find bowls for us to put our food in. Bella put the ground beef into the pasta sauce and only gave some input to sports stuff she knew mainly between what she picked up on from Emmett and his dad, and the few times she'd try and watch games with her dad before she was kicked out. (She got sadly briefly when recalling but all it took was a quick heavy kiss from me that she let it go and gave me an alluring smile to show she was back in the present). When everything was said and done, we had pasta that we could eat for now as well as for later if we were to get hungry. So we ate our pasta bowls and complimented each other on our work, but gave most credit to Bella on instructing us on what to do; she blushed from the praise but blew us off with laughing saying it wasn't that hard to do this ourselves.

Soon though, the topic divulged into more serious discussions - our futures or at least where we want to go in our lives. I think it only came up because Alice asked, "So you're really good at Art Bella. Did you ever think about wanting to go to Art school?"

Bella blushed when she was asked this out of the blue by the pixie. She took time to slurp up her pasta and mulled it over before answering. "Uh... yeah actually I do. But... I don't think I can get in at this point."

"Love -"

"Edward no. I know you and I already had this talk." Bella cut me off and I sighed again. "Edward has already given me the spiel that he thinks I can get into any art school I want if I put my mind to it. But I told him my grades are so fucked at this point I doubt any school would look twice at me." she continued to explain to the group in a solemn tone.

"Bullshit." Emmett suddenly said and slammed a fist into the counter; it caused everyone to jump from the sudden noise. "You should see this girl's work, guys. She has so many things back at our apartment and some at Charlie's place before she left - her shit is so fucking amazing. Any school would be lucky to have her." Emmett told us in a determined voice while staring down at Bella who shrunk under his gaze. "They care about your fucking talent more than they do about your grades or what you got on a test in fucking Math, B." Emmett added in roughly, shaking his head at her.

The others hummed in agreement and looked over at Bella who sighed now. "I seriously doubt that still."

"I think you'd be accepted in a heartbeat." Rosalie told her and Bella looked at her briefly shocked that she was saying as much. "I saw your work in the classroom Bella - you're amazing at what you can do from what little I've seen. I think you should seriously consider it." Rosalie continued to tell her, a soft smile on her face now to show her she meant it from the bottom of her heart. The others murmured their agreement to this and Bella's cheeks were pink again.

"I, er... okay look. I'll try getting my grades and shit fixed up to where I can graduate at least but I will also plan on applying to some schools for my art okay?" Bella relented with a shaky laugh. I threw a free arm over her shoulders and kissed her cheek. She giggled and turned to nuzzle her nose with mine, whispering her thanks to me.

"Alright enough seeing you lovebirds snoggin' over there." Emmett teased loudly and again we laughed together. "I'll go next. I want to get into school to either become a mechanic and own my own garage - or I want to get into teaching." I felt my eyes widen at hearing him admit his second option. Everyone else had the same reaction as I did - except for Bella who nodded her head.

"A teacher? Really?" Jasper asked him incredulously.

"Really. I love little kids so I think I'd either go into teacher kindergarten or elementary." Emmett explained further, shrugging but his grin was still bright as ever.

"Honestly with his personality, he'd mesh well with little kids." Bella told the group, smirking.

"I can honestly see that." I stated, imagining just a simple school day with the big hulking Emmett playing and laughing with little kids; he'd sit there helping them with their messy drawings or helping them count and figure out animals. The mechanic dream he had also fit him with his size and the fact his whole demeanor screamed as much.

"Well..." Rosalie cut in then and we looked over to see her chewing on her bottom lip. "Teaching was an old dream I had of wanting to be - but uh... I want to be a pediatric nurse or doctor more than ever." Rosalie admitted, a sad look overcoming her face then while she chewed on her pasta quietly. It clicked with me then that I got why she would want to go into the medical field - and especially with kids. After what she had faced, and how she felt like she had been abandoned and shunned for what happened to her...

"You don't want the same thing happening to another kid like what happened to you." I pointed out loud, and Rosalie looked up shocked that I said it out loud. I could see the glassiness in her eyes while the rest of us looked at her with sad smiles. She took a deep breath but nodded her head firmly. Bella suddenly stepped out from under my arm and ran over to her, shocking me when she pulled the blond into her arms into a tight hug. Rosalie looked just as taken aback by this, but she eased herself and hugged Bella back. Alice looked on with a watery smile as did Jasper, while Emmett smiled warmly at the exchange.

"You'll be a great nurse." Bella murmured to her when she pulled away.

"Thanks Bella..." Rosalie trailed off, laughing shakily. Bella ran back to my side then and I kissed her cheek again which earned another giggle.

"I'm going to be working on becoming a lawyer or therapist. Specifically working with kids too." Jasper inputted then seriously, and Rosalie came over to him to give him a tight hug; he had held his arms open for her when he saw his sister was looking ready to cry from the previous exchange. The twins hugged it out for a moment and he had whispered something to his sister.

"You'd be kickass at either one too, man." Emmett told him earnestly, clapping a hand down on his shoulder when Rosalie pulled away from him. Rosalie chose to stick close to Emmett now, of which I was still thrown off by the sight - but again I knew probably deep down she felt close to Emmett after what they had talked about the night before and their old frayed relationship was on the mends.

"Thanks man." Jasper stated simply in reply to Emmett's sentiments.

"I'm last aren't I?" Alice asked then and we laughed when she pointed out the obvious. "Well frankly I want to work on becoming a fashion designer!" she announced quickly after, adding in her own grand flare when stating this to us.

"It suits you Alice." I told her honestly and she nodded her head enthusiastically.

"I've been working on making small things of clothing for myself over time during the time my mom and I were running - never had a sewing machine so I had to learn how to do everything by hand. My mom showed me too since she's done work herself before. But my new stepdad, Dr. Cullen - he said he's going to invest in getting me a sewing machine!" Alice gushed, clapping her hands again which caused us to chuckle at the sight.

"I would love to see what you come up with Alice." Rosalie told her truthfully with a big smile on her face, the tears gone now as she's calmed down from her earlier outburst. Alice squealed at hearing this.

"Alright folks, get some seconds if you need it. But I want to get started on that pizza dough so if no one else is going to work on eating more, start putting it away and get to cleaning." Bella ordered then. We fake saluted to her again and she sneered before shooing us to work again. I grabbed another bowl for myself since I was honestly still hungry - once again part of the background that is my life, if you had the chance to scarf down as much food as you could, you take it. So I grabbed my food and ate quickly while Alice and Rosalie took to cleaning the countertops and putting away the pasta. Emmett and Jasper took the task to cleaning the pots and pans for us while Bella went to the pantry to get the flour and other bits she needed to make pizza dough. When I finished eating, I joined her and the girls who were starting on the dough. "We'll need your big strong hands when it comes to kneading, E. So thank you." Bella told me after she kissed my cheek - and caused me yelp slightly when she smacked my ass.

"Careful with Edward there, Bella - don't break him so soon!" Jasper hollered from the sink when he had heard the noise I made. I was blushing while the whole group laughed at the joke he said.

"Nah I already broke him last night." Bella taunted back and winked at me. The damn minx.

"Really? I was under the impression that I broke you last night after hearing the noises you made when I played the Chinese Alphabet on you." I teased right back, laughing when I saw her jaw drop and her cheeks darkened at my admission. I heard Jasper and Emmett laugh even louder at the sink while Alice and Rosalie "ooooh"'ed at this.

"Bella you so owe us some details you naughty girl!" Alice joked with her while she jabbed her elbow into her rib. Then Alice and Rosalie joined in the laughter from the two buffoons.

"Sorry love - all's fair in love and war." I stated lamely to her with a chuckle. Bella shook her head then to shake off the stupor at my quick-wit comment and she laughed at me.

"That's just bullshit to use on me but honestly... I concede." Bella admit with her dark cheeks still present. I winked at her then and we let the topic die down. The dough quickly came together after the girls had found stand mixers to get the rough ingredients mixed before they put me to work on kneading the dough. It didn't take me long and we had at least four balls ready to which Bella put them in their bowls to let them proof which she wanted them to be left alone overnight.

Once we had the dough made and set aside, and we cleaned up the countertops once again from the flour, we stood there once again unsure of what to do. "We could go raiding through more classrooms?" Alice suggested, but she received shrugs.

"Play some games? Like truth or dare? Would You Rather?" Rosalie suggested then.

"Not a bad idea." Emmett said with a smirk, which Bella rolled her eyes at.

"Maybe save that for later. I don't trust this behemoth yet with those games." she told Rosalie with a snicker; Emmett only pouted down at her in response.

"Hide and Seek?" Jasper asked lamely, and I shrugged to that.

"It could work since we have the whole school to run around in." I supplied to help his suggestion.

"We can put it to a vote if you guys want. So all in favor-" Bella began but she was cut short. Just as she had said that, a loud crash of thunder interrupted us. Everyone yelped or shouted in surprise from the noise. Bella jumped in my arms and I pulled my arms around her tighter in response. Rosalie fell back into Emmett who caught her while Alice had squealed and threw herself at Jasper who scrambled to catch the pixie in his arms. We looked wildly out the kitchen door in fear, stunned into silence after hearing the noise.

We stood there quiet, not saying a word while the storm sounded like it picked up in its severity outside. The thunder raged on for another twenty or so seconds before it died. We were panting from the initial shock of how bad the thunder sounds and then slowly turned to face one another. We were all looking pretty damn frightened.

"Holy mother of -" Emmett was about to breath out what we all had on our minds, but Mother Nature decided that we couldn't talk anymore. Just as he tried to speak, there was another crack. It sounded like a sharp twist of lightning striking something just based off the whip noise that sounded off, then once the crack happened - we were plunged into darkness. We yelled out in shock, the girls screeching when we lost our lights. Thunder soon followed and I heard a whimper from Bella next to me. I squeezed her and pulled her even closer into my chest if that was possible, tucking her head under my chin. I hushed her and rubbed her back with my hand, feeling her wrap her arms around my back while she took deep breaths.

"What do we do now?!" Alice cried out in panic in the darkness. I looked around and tried to let my eyes adjust to the darkness of the kitchen; there were no windows back here so it was quite dark.

"The power was knocked out due to this storm no doubt." Jasper told her in a calm voice.

"I think the school has a system or something - like a power breaker system that we can find in the basement." Rosalie said to the group and I looked towards her voice blindly.

"Woah woah woah… this school has a basement?" Emmett asked her in shock.

"Uh... yeah?"

"How the hell did I never find out about this until now?!" Emmett whined and I snickered.

"Well some of us could go and find that and see about finding if there's a back up system or something to get the power back on." Bella offered below me; she sounded a bit more calm now after her initial fear. "See if you could find some flashlights and maybe extra blankets too while you go there or when we meet back up - this place is getting cold and if we're going to be without power tonight, I'd like some more warmth." she added. "E, you and I can head to the office and see if there's some supplies there." Bella told me and I looked down at her; my eyes adjusted now to the darkness and I saw her looking up at me.

"You think Greene's got shit in his office, Iz?"

"I don't know, it doesn't hurt to look. If anything if we don't find anything, I'd like to see about checking the phones or something. Or see if there's a power supply in there." Bella told Emmett, to which I nodded my head hearing this.

"It's not far off base if Greene's got a power box in his office. Did you guys see anything like that while in there?" I asked them but I heard them murmur their 'no's' when asked.

"We weren't exactly looking for anything last night when we were getting baked." Jasper admitted and I chuckled.

"Fair enough. So we can split up for now and see if we can get our supplies together. Let's meet back up at the lounge then when we have everything handled." I told the group. They murmured their agreement to the plan and we carefully navigated our way out of the kitchen. Emmett closed the door behind us after we reentered the cafeteria with natural light coming in from the windows. The storm had picked up indeed when we were busy making food and chatting; the wind was ripping more outside than it had before, I could see occasionally flashes of lightning every now and then, and heard the roar of thunder that followed. Rain came down in sheets as well.

"We'll catch you two later - please don't defile Greene's desk while you're in there." Emmett warned jokingly when we came back to the door that was the Gym. Bella snickered at this and I rolled my eyes. We saw them head off towards a set of doors that was off from the other corner of the Gym as Rosalie was leading them. Bella and I reentered through the school hallway that was connected to the school and lazily walked back towards the direction of Greene's office holding hands.

"So did you really want to see if Greene had supplies or a power box, love?" I asked her quietly, breaking the brief silence that had fallen over us while we walked.

"Kind of." she stated and I looked down at her. "I think it doesn't hurt to look - but really I wanted to do some more digging. You know the files that we found yesterday in Clapp's office - especially the ones on Emmett and I?" she asked and I nodded my head. "I found it a bit fishy when I looked at the notes - it looked like crap was cleared out with white-out to me and the handwriting didn't match Clapp's."

"Are you saying... you think someone tampered with your files?" I asked her and Bella nodded her head. "That's something to heavily consider, sweetheart. Are you super sure about this?"

"E, level with me." I nodded to her again to show her I was listening. "I'm honestly just a bit... weirded out. Maybe I'm starting to go stir-crazy while we're locked up but honestly look at it from my perspective and what all we have found so far. We found the files on Emmett and I looking like our shit in that class is being erased to make us look even worse than we already do. We found creepy evidence of a teacher taking pictures of his female students - and lube in his desk. And not to mention overall - we were locked up in that classroom and completely forgotten about. I don't know... I feel like it was deliberate that we weren't let out by Greene after he threw us in there." Bella rambled, stopping in the middle of the hallway to glare down at the floor.

I stood there with her in silence, mulling over what she had said. I do admit that it was a bit weird honestly the more I gave thought to it. The files Clapp had on them didn't seem right since it did look like his commentary was doctored to something new that painted Bella and Emmett in a bad light when they admit they're on good terms with the gym teacher and that they actually do stuff in his gym class. I didn't share gym with them, so I wouldn't fully know just how they were in there but I trusted her word on it. And she had a more than valid point about Mr. Harmont - the photos he had of several female students (Rosalie and Bella included) tucked away in his desk gave off serious creepy vibes. The fact he had a tube of lube in his desk too only further worsened the stigma that Mr. Harmont got off on pictures of his female students. If this was going on, I wondered honestly if Mr. Greene knew about this - and if he did, why in the fuck was he allowing this teacher to work here? This screamed sexual predator vibes that I did not feel comfortable with. I was going to ask Jasper just what he did with the photos still since he pocketed them; we'd have to go back and get all the photos he had in his desk, and not to mention probably bag the lube so we could maybe take it to the police to report this shit.

Finally Bella was also right in thinking it was extremely odd that we were forgotten about in the classroom yesterday which led to our subsequent lockdown in the school. I knew that Greene and the other teachers had been absolutely pissed with us for escaping from our detention in the library, and then the damage done to the door, before we stole a cart to try and get out of the school - and then crashing it. It was honestly cruel still in my mind that we got locked in that old storage room with no ac, no access to a toilet or the fact it was extremely dusty. Honestly I don't care how much you're pissed at a group of annoying teens who broke out from detention and worked on wreaking havoc while trying to escape. You don't forget teens locked up like that unless you deliberately do so. It's neglectful if you do to be perfectly honest. So everything about it did scream something suspicious.

I hummed and looked down at her to see her biting her bottom lip while looking up at me thoughtfully. "I'll admit, you have a point. A lot of this was sitting in the back of my mind but I was distracted last night..." I trailed off and gave her wink to show her what I meant. Bella laughed at this and playfully shoved my arm. "I'm game though in helping you look for anything that might seem weird." I told her truthfully and pulled her back into my side where I had us get started on walking again. We continued to walk down the halls, kissing and flirting with each other easily. When we were about to round the corner that would head towards Greene's office, I stopped when I heard distant voices - new voices that didn't sound like our friends. No way they could've rounded the school that quickly when they were behind us when we left them. I held up a finger to Bella to show her we needed to be quiet and I pulled her with me to the wall that was the corner. I held her behind me and then carefully I edged myself to just peak ever so slightly around the corner.

That's when I felt my blood freeze.

One guy was standing in the doorway of Greene's office as the door itself was wide open. He was looking down towards the other end of the hallways towards one of the doors that led to the outside. He looked to be around my height with shaggy brown hair and wild eyes. He was dressed in dirty looking clothes - a t-shirt under a bomber jacket, ripped jeans and scuffed boots. His skin looked just as equally dirty and I could see an angry scar across his left eye while he looked back and forth.

"E?" I heard Bella whisper quietly behind me. I quickly turned to look at her and she looked extremely confused at why I was acting like this. I held up a finger to her again, desperately wanting her to be quiet. She nodded her head and remained silent and I turned back to peek around the corner. The guy was still in place.

"God, D - hurry the fuck up." I heard the guy call out behind him into Greene's office; he sounded agitated. I heard a deep chuckle come from the office before soon, another guy walked out. He was about similar height to me like the other guy, just a bit more lanky in his physical appearance. He had shaggy dusty brown hair that was wild in its unkept state, while he had dark eyes that looked on at the first guy with amusement. He was dressed in a similar manner as the first guy.

"Relax, Alec." The second guy, 'D', said to the first one with a chuckle. "I know the old man's got some stuff stashed in here. I just can't get the fucking drawer open."

"Shit." Alec whine and eased on his tense stance. "Well fuck, what are we going to do now Demetri?"

I felt my blood run cold now when I heard the second guy's full name. I knew the names now. Old memories came back to my mind when I heard them.

Demetri and Alec - they were two drug dealers that were rivals of Embry. When I had been a drug runner for him, Embry warned me about some of his rival drug dealers and makers. He didn't want me to ever run into any of them while I'd be running deals; he had faith that because I was fast as hell, I'd be able to outrun them and be able to hide from them. But they were persistent assholes that were dirty with their tactics to try and thin out the market so customers would have to go to them - and they often scalped their prices but would market their stuff was a cut above the rest. I recall that Embry would tell me that Demetri always knew where to find his enemies and any runners of theirs before he'd work on snuffing them out with his crew. I heard of Alec from Embry just that he was extremely intense with his methods of intimidation - namely I heard of the horror stories that he'd try cutting off rival runners' tongues or fingers in order to scare them to ditch the drug running scene. Demetri and Alec had other cronies part of their gang in order to make them seem more frightening than it just being the two of them; the two of them were rather 'scrawny' and could easily be laughed at by any unsuspecting rivals.

But they were not fuckers to be trifled with.

Why the hell were the here at the high school? I heard Demetri say that he knew Greene's got stuff stashed away in a drawer, but why would he care about some small amount of drugs in Greene's office? How did he even know for sure if they were there? None of this was making sense to me.

Demetri snorted and I was brought back to reality. "We aren't going to panic, that's fucking what we're going to do. We'll leave since we got other business to attend to tonight, and we'll come back tomorrow. We'll have a tool with us to break into his desk to get the shit. But if we find out we've been lied to about the crap being in there, we're going to be paying Newton a visit. The sniveling little fucker better pray he left us those drugs in there along with the cash he said he was going to pay us back from the last two orders he owes us on." Demetri explained to Alec calmly, laughing now. I bit back the gasp that wanted to leave me, and I heard Bella freeze behind me. She could hear what these two were talking about.

Newton? What the actual fuck? He's working with these two? Or is he doing drugs and he's in debt or some shit with these guys? So many questions, none of which I honestly don't know what is right or wrong.

"Fair enough. Man I kind of hope he's lying - not that we'd be short changed on money, but the fact I'd love to lop off a finger or two on him! It'd make sure he learns not to fuck with us!" Alec spoke then, almost gleefully at the idea of inflicting his brand of torture on a shithead like Newton. My stomach twisted when I heard him talk about this. As much as I despised Mike Newton, not even did he deserve to face that kind of misery from these two.

Demetri laughed at his excitement but jabbed him in the ribs. "Come on, let's ditch this place. We got another deal in an hour in Seattle." Demetri ordered him and jogged off down the hall. Alec followed after him. Still carefully peaking around the corner, I saw them enter a classroom that had a door wide open. I gave it another few minutes while trying to calm my pounding heart. I took a few deep breaths before finally easing from my tense stance in front of Bella. I looked back and saw she was shaking ever so slightly behind me.

"Edward, who were they?" Bella asked me while I tugged on her wrist and pulled her into my arms. I hugged her tightly and breathed in her sweet scent of strawberries from her short hair. She hugged me around the waist and buried herself into my chest. "Did you know them?" she continued to ask.

I took another deep breath before finally answering. "I do. When I was a runner for Embry, he warned me about those two - they're vicious in running their own gang and drug ring. Those two worked hard on weeding out competitors. Alec liked to try and scare enemy runners for some drug dealers, and the defiant ones were the ones that'd face losing a finger or two - or a tongue if it really got that far." Bella gasped at hearing this. "Demetri was the one that can sniff out where other dealers and their runners would be hiding around the city so they could easily make house visits if they wanted to. Embry told me to do my damn best to avoid them because Demetri and Alec hated Embry the most - Embry stood up against them often and would never back down from his work in the drug ring. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Demetri and Alec that were planning to visit him that night that made him flee when he did. And subsequently what made me run too." I continued, frowning.

"Did you see if it was them that night?"

"No, I didn't. I ran out of the shack before anyone arrived to find if anyone was home - I escaped out the back of the shack too so even if they had came by when I was leaving, I didn't see anyone." I explained, squeezing her.

"Why were they here? I heard them say they said there was stuff stashed in Greene's desk - and it's from Newton of all people?" she asked me in bewilderment, stepping back to look up at me with confusion in her eyes.

"I honestly don't know sweetheart - something about it doesn't add up with me and I'm just as shocked as finding out about Newton being involved with them." I murmured, pursing my lips. "I think we need to warn the others about this and we need to find a way out of the school by tomorrow - I don't want any of us being alone in these halls if they come back tomorrow. I don't know when they might be back but I think we need to move our sleeping spot away from the lounge since it's too close to the office. I'm fucking terrified at the thought of them finding us... I would fight them tooth and nail if they ever think about laying a hand on Alice, Rosalie and you." I continued, gulping down the fear that threatened to spill over. I couldn't even begin to think of the frightening thoughts of those two finding us tomorrow, and them finding the three girls - I knew they'd be fucking pigs with them and do anything to hurt them.

Bella reached up and touched my cheek. I looked down at her, blinking back the terrified tears that wanted to fall. "Don't think about the worst what-ifs E. We'll work to be safe tonight as it looks like they have no interest in coming back until tomorrow. I think as soon as we wake up tomorrow, we move to leave the school asap and avoid them if we can. Lets see if we can find our phones and other belongings in Greene's office and take them with us tonight so we've got everything to go." Bella whispered and stood on her toes to kiss me. I wound my arms around her and kissed her back roughly, groaning when I felt her tongue tangle with mine. The little vixen, she was doing her best to distract me from my worries. I held her tightly to me while we made out before we pulled away from each other to breath heavily. She was stirring up feelings for me down there and I knew I'd want her alone again very soon. "Better?" she asked coyly, giggling girlishly while she lightly traced my lips with her finger. I kissed her little finger and chuckled lowly.

"Yes you temptress." I growled and she giggled again.

"Come on now, lover boy. Let's set about our original plans." Bella mused and then stepping back to grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the office. We cautiously approached it and saw that Alec and Demetri had busted the coded lock on the door to break in and they left it open before they left the school. Looking in, I see that Demetri had turned the office inside out looking for the drugs he claimed were in here; the filing cabinet was a mess with drawers pulled out and files thrown out and on the floor of the office. The cushions to the couch in here were overturned, the desk chair was thrown against a wall. Greene's paintings and pictures hanging on the walls were thrown to the floor, where now I could see that on the wall was a safe imbedded into the wall. The papers on Greene's desk were thrown off onto the floor too, and I could see some drawers to the desk were opened - all except for one. "Damn..." Bella breathed when we caught sight of how bad everything looked.

"They really searched high and low for these drugs." I stated bluntly. I tugged her inside and looked around at the scene. "Did you want to tackle the files then?" I asked her as I bent down to start sifting through the papers. Bella nodded her head and bent down, looking through the papers with me. We found many files on the student body of Forks High, setting aside at our files when we had found them while putting the other students' files into a messy pile. Once we found our six papers on us, Bella set them on the desk while I curiously went over to the wall safe. "I had no fucking idea Greene had this here. I wonder if it was hidden behind a picture that Demetri took down." I mused out loud to her. She hummed at the desk. I went over to the pictures that were on the floor to start investigating.

"I knew it." I looked over at Bella when I heard her have her epiphany. She was looking at our papers with a scowl.

"What?"

"Our papers. All of them. They've got white out marks on them and some stupid bullshit comments are on them." Bella muttered to me. I walked over to her and looked over her shoulder. I glanced down at the papers and saw that it wasn't just hers and Emmett's papers that had the white-out marks; I could see the same marks for mine, Jasper and Rosalie. The comments written on them were done in a scrawl that looked to be someone else's handwriting trying to imitate the original writer's handwriting. I could see the original handwriting on the sections for our names and what years we were in. But the section for our grades in our classes and the commentary on us as a whole as a student was doctored. "This is bullshit man." Bella growled, pounding her fist into the desk.

"It is." I agreed with her in a huff, sighing. I went back to looking through the pictures, looking over on the back of them. I was hoping that maybe Greene was stupid enough to try and put a code on the back of any of them so I could break into the safe. It was a longshot but based off the fact that he was an 'outside thinker' according to Rosalie who had been able to hear the door code, I wouldn't be surprised if he had written a safe code somewhere. He only gets some points if he put on the back of a picture - of which Demetri and Alec would be too stupid to look there first.

"What are you doing E?" Bella was confused as to why I was turning pictures over and over.

"Looking for - Yes!" I hissed when I noticed a four digit code on the back of the last picture I turned over. "A code. I have a code here - it might be for the safe." I told her and then dropping the picture I raced back over to the safe.

"Really?!"

"Yep." I told her excitedly, punching in the numbers quickly. When I did, I heard a quiet beep and then a quick tumbling of locks. I grabbed the handle and the safe popped open. I smirked and then looked inside. Inside I found a folder, a few bags of a substance I was familiar with, some bottles of various alcohol, some cassette tapes not marked with anything and a key. "Not much in here but I have some shit that is all too telling that Greene's hiding crap." I told Bella, pulling out the folder first. I then pulled out the bags, cassette tapes and key, before leaving the booze behind, I turned and walked back over to the desk. I dropped the contents onto the desktop and Bella looked at it all with wide eyes.

"What the fuck?!" Bella cried, poking the bags apprehensively.

"Yeah, it's what you think it is. Meth." I told her with a grimace. I knew all too well the difference between some of the hard hitting drugs after my old work with Embry. I pulled up the folder and opened it - inside were our files with drastically different commentary and grades. "We hit the jackpot - Greene's holding onto our original files." I told her while passing the folder to her. She took it and looked down at the papers before her, scowling the more she looked over them.

"Son of a bitch! That bastard!" Bella screeched as she sat there comparing the papers. "This is our original paperwork. He's lying about our actual grades and how we are as students to make us look worse than we really are." Bella spat out while throwing the papers down. I took the key and moved around her to head to the one drawer that was left close. I could see there was indeed a keyhole on the drawer and shoved the key into it. "What are you doing now E?"

"I found this key in the safe and it looks like it goes to this drawer." I told her while turning the key. I heard the lock coming undone and was happy that our sleuthing was proving to be successful. I took the key back out and pulled open the drawer to look inside. Immediately I felt my heart lurch. "Oh fuck..."

It was exactly what Demetri and Alec had been looking for, and then some. There were bricks tightly packed and stowed in the desk drawer - at least three or four were jammed in here. Nothing big but I could see that it was wrapped up in duct tape. Along with that I saw a thick roll of cash bound together - the outside bill was a $100 bill. And then I saw a tape recorder, next to the cash. I pulled out the bricks, hearing Bella gasp loudly behind me, then put the cash and tape recorder down on the desk top. All that was left in the drawer was another folder. I pulled it out and opened it before feeling my stomach churn once again. It was a piece of paper that was a sex offender registry, with Mr. Harmont's face on it. Or at least his original name. Mr. Harmont was an alias. Below the paper was another one - it was a made up contract that Greene had worked out with him that he is to promise to never have any female students alone with him in meetings or any after school detentions. But otherwise he could do fuck all what he wanted and remain working here as a teacher; still free to leer and creep on any girls as he pleases. They both had signed it.

"I'm going to be fucking sick at this. The fucking sick bastards!" I snarled while standing up and slamming the file down on Greene's desk. Bella was turning over the other contents from the drawer before she saw the other folder I had put down on the desk. She picked it up and looked inside before hissing.

"Ew! The fucking creeps!" Bella growled and mimicked the same actions that I had done. I ran a hand through my hair frustrated at finding all of this, looking over the contents warily. There was so much dark and hidden crap in here that we were only finding out now and the more we found, the more I felt uncomfortable with us being trapped in this school. Greene was doing so much shady shit in the background - hiding drugs in his office, holding onto money for these drug deals, and also allowing a registered sex offender work here under an alias! It made me sick. Bella kicked his trash bin in her anger, huffing. Papers spilled out of the can, and for some reason she was transfixed on two papers. She picked them up and uncurled them from their crumpled states while hastily looking them over. "E?" I looked over at her as she held up the two papers.

"What?"

"Greene's a fucking moron - he wrote down on a note of where our crap is being held captive. And he also wrote down a fucking checklist. Read the list." Bella told me while handing me the paper. I took it from her and read it over.

Lock the students in the old classroom

Go over details with Demetri and Alec for our drug deal.

Pay them money

Talk to Newton about the deal, hand him the cash.

Shred original files of the troublemakers

Act like I forgot to let the students out when returning on Sunday

Claim insurance on school for damages, blame troublemakers for it

I growled while reading it over. "I can't fucking even believe this." I hissed and looked over at Bella who nodded her head angrily.

"It's just what I thought. The fucker planned to leave us here." Bella growled, sighing. "What if he planned to leave us here so those drug dealer bozos found us and fucked us up?" Bella asked me as she stared at me with hardened eyes.

"I wouldn't put it past the asshole if he had planned that too." I muttered, snorting out a harsh chuckle. I shook my head angrily while trying to put this together in my head. "The fucker's been dealing drugs with them in the background all the while he's doctoring our grades and everything about our school reports to make us look worse. I honestly wonder if he was planning to pin the drug shit on us - he knows with you and Emmett based off your track records, you guys have done drugs and caused so much trouble in the school, it likely would not be a hard sell to your guys' parole officers or just the law enforcement in general. I don't know why though he was doing the same to Jasper, Rosalie and I. I always kept my head down in this school - I don't know if he found out about my past through Demetri and Alec, or if he just hates my guts. But the Hales? They're students who excel in their studies and I highly doubt they cause any trouble for him. So why would he fake their crap to make them look bad?" I wondered out loud, feeling my eyebrows come together in a furrowed manner.

"It might have to do with Harmont." Bella mused out loud coolly, and I looked over at her. "Remember, he had more photos of Rosalie than of me, or any other female student. Harmont might have more of a fixation on her and probably because of that, Harmont might've tried working out a work-around to that loose contract with Greene to try and get at Rosalie - and based off the bad grades, I'm worried that Greene was close to letting this one go as an excuse that Rose would've been needed to be held back for a detention with him." Bella explained with a hard edge to her tone. I looked between Rosalie's original file and the doctored one, seeing the stark differences between her positive marks and comments, and then the fake notes and grades that made her out to be a struggling, problematic teen.

"That's a possibility." I told her simply, frowning.

"We need to hold onto this shit - I'm taking this to my dad tomorrow. We're going to nail Greene and 'Harmont' with this crap because I'm not going to let this go on any further." Bella stated with conviction, gathering the fake files on us and the real files by putting them together into the folder. I added the contract to the mix along with the tape recorder because it looked like there was a cassette in there already - I wanted to listen to what was on it later. I also added the other tape cassettes that I have found, before looking down at the drugs.

"Let's take these with us too." I told her, holding up the bricks, wad of cash and the meth. She eyed me, confused. "No, we're not doing this shit or stealing the money. If Demetri and Alec are coming back, with Greene tomorrow, he's going to be in deep shit with them if they don't find it here. We need this for evidence anyways too to further nail Greene." I hastily explained to her, shoving the drawer closed. I put the key back into the safe and closed it up while hearing Bella hum in realization that it was a sound idea.

"One last thing before we leave." Bella mused then and I looked back over at her to see her smirking. "You know how Emmett said not to 'defile' Greene's desk?" she asked me with a coy grin. I furrowed my brows at her.

"Uh I'm not sure I'm following what you're hinting at love."

"Edward..." she trailed off, setting the papers down. She pointedly looked down at my crotch (causing me to blush briefly) before she looked down at the desktop.

Oh.

Ooooh.

I snickered and she giggled.

"You naughty girl." I teased her in a low voice, wiggling my eyebrows at her suggestively. Bella laughed at the sight and winked at me.

"It's been awhile anyways. Besides, it's payback for the dirty fuck that he is - who gives a shit if we fuck each other on his desk now?" Bella told me simply while she dug a finger onto the desktop. I smirked at her while walking over to close the door.

"You drive me insane Swan." I teased her when I stalked back over to her. She had propped herself up on the desktop and took off her t-shirt for me, causing me to moan at the sight of her chest. She had on a simple black bra. When I was standing in front of her, she reached down and grabbed the hem of my shirt, ripping it off of me quickly. She licked her lips at the sight of my bare chest and I drove my arms forward to have them on either side of her so she was trapped on the edge. I leant down and kissed behind her ear where she groaned. "You're mine now, missy."

"Put that sexy mouth to work then, baby." she purred, giggling when I nipped at her skin.

"With pleasure."

With that we set about defiling Greene's office. It felt amazing to be reconnected with Bella again while I fucked her on Greene's desk. Her moans and shouts of demanding more of me while she laid beneath me writhing, only spurred me on further to make sure she was thoroughly satisfied. I could feel myself giving way to letting go of my control when I was with her, but it gave me such an ego boost knowing that I made her feel the way she was feeling, and hearing her scream my name when she let go of her own control only turned me on further. She was a spitfire while we had sex several times on Greene's desk, digging her nails into my scalp or scratching my back while she left marks for sure. I knew I left some marks on her skin too after nipping hard on her neck or on her boobs. She loved it all the more.

When we finally finished after a third time, I pulled back from her and she was smiling up at me lazily. She was a sight to behold - naked on the desktop, looking spent and her short hair mussed up thanks to my hands. I could see the purpling marks on her creamy skin thanks to my teeth. "Mm, you're so fucking sexy, baby." Bella purred while she pushed herself up to sit in front of me. She let her legs dangle while she sat on the edge of the desk. I let my eyes roam over her naked form in front of me, feeling a deep rumble in my chest while I could see some tattoos on her hips now for the first time. I saw her wink at me when she noticed where my eyes were lingering. "Yes, you're seeing those right, sexy. I guess you didn't see them last night since we were fucking in the dark."

"You're right about that love." I murmured to her and stepped forward to cage her in again on the edge of the desk. She reached down and grazed her fingers over my hardened member which I moaned at. "Baby we should stop and go find our stuff to stash away our evidence." I whispered to her when I leaned down to kiss her small little ear.

"I know. But I want to keep playing with you." Bella pouted up at me and I smirked at her.

"How about we sneak away tonight to the showers? I'd love to see the water running over your amazing naked body." I purred to her and she moaned under me.

"I love the sound of that idea." Bella whispered and I pulled back to kiss her. I was so engrossed in slipping my tongue back into her hot mouth, and losing myself to the lust between us that I failed to hear the door open. But I did hear the following shout of expletives right after.

"Holy mother of fucking sweet Baby Jesus and Mary!"

Bella and I screeched in shock and I wrapped my arms around her to pull her into my chest. I felt her turn her head to look over at our intruder the same time I did, and then I felt my cheeks heat up. "Emmett you fuckface! What the hell?" Bella screeched as our behemoth friend stood in the doorway of the office. He stood there with one hand over his eyes but a huge shit-eating grin was on his face. "Get the hell out of here - you're ruining my alone time with E!" Bella continued to scream at him, her face looking absolutely vicious as if she wanted to strangle her friend.

"Relax Izzy, not like I haven't seen all that before with you - but I admit I think I saw a bit too much of Ed than I wanted to!" Emmett teased loudly with a resounding bark of laughter. I felt myself heat up more in embarrassment realizing our predicament; Bella and I were completely and utterly naked still from fucking around in here, and Emmett just walked in on us. At least we weren't in the middle of said fucking, because god knows I'd die from absolute mortification. "Look, we found the backup system in the basement and it took us a while to try and get it working. I think it's completely shorted out from the storm outside so we couldn't get it to working again. But we did find a backup generator and got that going. We also found the other supplies you wanted us to look for so we have everything good to go for the night. We went back to the lounge like we had planned but since you two weren't there, we gave it some time before deciding that one of us should go find you two. And I drew the short end of the stick since neither of the other losers wanted to potentially walk in on you two doing the deed." Emmett explained, his tone turning into a lighthearted one at the end. "Looks like it was a safe bet to send me."

I rolled my eyes at him while Bella snickered below me. I reached down and grabbed our clothes to which I handed Bella's hers. She put them on quickly while I did the same, before we told Emmett we were decent. He lowered his hand and sneered at us. Then his eyes looked around the room for the first time since he arrived and his smirk disappeared when he took in the mess that was still in here from Demetri and Alec, while also taking note of the drugs on the desk that I had shoved aside when making room for Bella being on top. He looked over at us with his face scrunched in puzzlement.

"What the fuck is all that?"

"Emmett... we have a serious situation on our hands." Bella told him bluntly, her face reading nothing but absolutely seriousness. There was no hint of any joking or teasing in her voice. She was telling him that she meant business and he needed to really listen to what she had to say. Emmett nodded to her, frowning.

"Let's go and get our bags, and then lets meet up with the others to explain what the hell is going on, love." I told Bella while gathering up all of our stuff. She nodded her head to me and once I had everything I led the way out of the office. I gave Emmett a grim look and he grimaced at the sight.

"That bad?"

"It's fucking bad Emmett." I told him bluntly and Bella sighed. She shut the door behind us and with a wave of her hand, she led us away to head to the spot of where our things were being held captive.

A deep knot was settling into my stomach the more I thought over the severity of what all we were holding onto. Greene was a shady fucker in the grand scheme of things - he was in the business with some serious drug dealers, had dragged along another student into the mess, was harboring a registered sex offender that was no doubt trying to work around his stupid weak contract with his boss to get at one of the female students, and was also doctoring reports on us to make us out to be worse than what we really are. He planned to keep us locked up in the school this weekend on purpose, was going to have a drug deal go down - and probably let the dealers wreck the school in the process before putting the blame on us. We would've likely ended up in serious trouble with the law if this had gone through. If we had stayed in that storage room rather than busting out, for one we would've been left starving overnight and been left in horrible conditions since we would've been facing the storm that would've came in through the door and windows since they had no glass. But for another, I worry that if we had stayed in there, the dealers and their crew would've found us and who knows what kind of shit they would've done to us when we would have nowhere to hide or run.

Now we were still at risk - we needed to find a new room or somewhere in the school to hide for the night. I didn't want any of us going alone anywhere in this damn school that was now our prison for the next few hours. We had limited options that we could hide together in and make sure we would be as far as possible from Demetri and Alec, and their crew, when they'd be returning sometime tomorrow. I knew the teacher's lounge was just still too close for comfort next to Greene's office - and who knows if they'd show up later in the evening or early hours of the morning to do some damage to the school? We'd be left in a vulnerable state as is if we stayed in there. We needed to plan to figure out what we needed to do to try and bust out of the school. We stayed originally thinking we'd be fine in here until we'd hopefully be sprung loose on Monday morning when the students and faculty come back for another school week. We didn't expect this to fall onto our plates however. We didn't want to bust out early and be blamed for vandalizing the school because it would've looked like we weren't actually trapped here. But now we had no choice but try and break out earlier than planned.

I had a bad feeling about all of this, but as long as we planned accordingly, things might turn out fine. Let's just hope it works out that way.

A/N: Well oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! A twist of events! Greene's a much more shady character than people thought. Not to mention the teens have another problem to worry about!

Let's see then how these six teens will do and if they can figure out a plan of escaping the school before they're found out by the returning drug dealers.

Apologies for any mistakes as usual, I do what I can to proof read and edit as I could, and as well before I think about posting. But I still slip up and miss some mistakes here and there. I'm human after all.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
