Leo and Luna opened their home to him, Yanagi and Tanner after Yusei left. And their wallet.
Yuma fixed his collar as he stared into the mirror, looking at his newly bought dress suit. It was red, no coat tail, and made Yuma feel like he was wearing clouds. The price tag on this thing frankly made Yuma uncomfortable to even look at it.
"I don't think I can pay you back for this." He told Luna when he excited the bathroom. She was also in a formal get up.
"You don't have to." She reassured him. " It is a gift after all."
"That doesn't make me feel any better." Yuma sighed. "Why can't we just walk into the Arcadia building without normal clothes? Something tells me Akiza wouldn't mind."
"Well, we do want to make a good first impression to the people of the Arcadia Movement since they're important to Akiza." Luna reminded him. And well, she wasn't wrong.
Although to be honest, he thought that the Arcadia people were creepy. From Sayer intentionally moving Akiza far away from other people and the robes every other member all seems to wear. Yeah, if that wasn't a cult Yuma didn't know what it was.

Yuma woke up chained to a table, a helmet of some kind mounted on his head. The last thing he could remember was that dinner with Sayer…
Oh, this was a cult wasn't it?
The helmet made it hard to move his head, Yuma couldn't see Leo or Luna or either of the adults anywhere. He caught glimpses of people dressed in white lab coats. Before he knew it a shadow loomed over him.
Thunder King Rai-Oh's eyes meet his. Someone gave it an order.
Then electricity coursed through him.
Then Yuma screamed.
(-.-)
His deck, where was his deck? Where did they take his precious Ice Barrier?
If they were doing this kind of experiment on him then what are they doing to his friends?
No, no, no, Yuma refused to be too late this time.
The electricity crackled throughout the body as Thunder King Rai-Oh let out a hitched humm, but all Yuma could hear was Trey's promise to be his sword.
He offered up that memory and overlaid it with the promise Yusei had made….."to build the overlay network….Xyz summon… Number F0:..."
A warrior came to him, his knight in scarlet armor, a pointed black gauntlet resting on one of his arms. Rings made from light of white swirled around one of his fingers, shining with the same intensity as its hard light eyes laid onto Yuma, completely ignoring Thunder King Rai-Oh and letting the electricity run off his back. He raised one of his swords…..
" Pledge of Wishes - Utopic Future."
And in fell swoop, Yuma was free.

Fear was there, deep into his skin. Not his but Akiza's. Alone in The Arcadia building's maze-like hall. He reached out to her. Their bond, although still shaky, was made solid by the mark. Enough for Yuma to ease the girl's fear. To tell her that she wasn't alone.
The self hatred hit him with full force but Yuma holds it steady. He reached out to her once again and again, no matter how many times Akiza rejected his reach.
The building began to shake. Yuma finally found the stairs and with it his missing companions. The twins were glad to see him but they didn't have time to catch up. Tanner led them through the halls, working their way down the multiple floors.
"I think Akiza's in trouble." He told Luna as they ran.
"I think so too." She replied, her own mark showing itself through the sleeves of her dress.
Their fears were confirmed once Akiza came to view, facing a strange woman. Misty Tredwell the model as Yanagi informed him. Again, they didn't have time to process what was going one when pieces of the building's ceiling started to rain down on them. While Tanner grabbed hold of the twins, Yuma rushed past him.
"What are you doing?" Tanner yelled at him.
"I'm going to help Akiza!" Yuma yelled back, weaving through the rubble as fast as he could. "Just get out of here, I'll be fine!"
It wasn't his first time dealing with crumbling building.
The woman was gone by the time he reached Akiza. The girl herself laid on the floor, tears streaming down her face. The stairs were blocked up after the other left and good chunks of the floor were ripped apart, leaving Yuma with a non-existing escape route.
As more rubble came down onto them, Yuma reached out for something! Anything!
Three dragons answered him. The shot upward through the building, raining down a flurry of snow to snuff out the flame of the Earthbound Immortal.
All that was left was the newly born hope shielding Yuma and Akiza.
