I was walking to the court, cooing to Aiko as she flew around me. The palace halls were washed with sunlight and nymphs were walking around running errands. I turned a corner and saw Ares walking down the hallway. He saw me and walked over, "Hey Aphrodite!" His eyes wandered up and down my body. Well, I can't blame him. My body was draped in a single fabric that covered both of my tits, leaving bare the back and the mid of my chest till waist where it warped around till my thighs and opened into a long skirt.

"Hello, Ares. How's the morning?" I said smiling.

"Well just got better. You truly look like a love goddess today." He said.

"Do I look that bad other days?" I played with him.

"Well, you look gorgeous every day, Aph." He tilted his head to one side, stepping closer, "Just, I might have you for breakfast today"

I bit down my lips and was about to flirt when ...

"You're learning quick, young man" We both turned to see Poseidon, walking towards Ares. He kinda looked ... extra groomed today. "But stop testing on my lady." He spoke, much to shock, referring me.

"What?" I widened my eyes at him. "I am no one's lady."

"Don't be modest, dear Aphrodite?" He said that and went into the courtroom.

"what the heck is with you randomly claiming women as yours Poseidon?" Ares stormed into the room, growling.

I followed close behind and held his hand, "Ares. Leave him." I said pulling him back.

"Well! What's up with anger here?" We saw Zeus and Hera standing at the entrance. Well, I missed his extravagant entry amid Ares and Poseidon.

We walked back to our thrones and Athena gave me a quizzical look, an expression I knew she rarely had. "I have no idea," I mouthed and shrugged.

"Yeah, Zeus teach your son that he is no one to talk to the king of oceans with that tone" Poseidon glared at Ares.

"Oh well, you want me to show you who you are?" Ares gripped the hilt of his sword.

"Hold on, Ares!" Zeus said, his angry voice booming. "You people are forgetting this is my Court, not your battlegrounds." He glanced between Poseidon and Ares. "What is this about?"

Since I had arrived here, not once did I feel such energy. It was dangerous, it burned crawling along my skin.

"I know you can feel it, Aphrodite," Athena whispered, "their thoughts are even worse."

I gulped as Poseidon spoke in a loud, commanding voice, "Ares is hitting on a woman who is mine to have." He pointed a finger at me.

I watched everyone in the court look at me with a questioning face. Thunder crackled in the sky and the stone on Poseidon's trident glowed with his anger. "As far as I know, Poseidon, Aphrodite is not yours. She has hardly ever talked to you." I saw Ares's eyes and he spat those words out. The usual red flicker in his brown eyes seemed like blood burning.

"Aphrodite, did you say yes to Poseidon?" Zeus turned his head to me. My voice stammered, "N-no I ..." For a goddess of love, all this energy was suffocating me.

Athena held my hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "You have anything more to say, King of seas?" Ares snarled, his voice dripping with anger.

Poseidon gave the sliest smile and said, "Did you not accept the dolphins I send you yesterday?" That dolphin statue. "Or will you say you had no idea dolphins were a symbol of romantic love?"

"You tricked her Poseidon. You left it at her doorstep. Anonymous. She had to accept it. She is not yours." Apollo stood from his seat, his face red with anger.

"And why were you with her, loverboy? Ahh having fun at her house?" Poseidon gave out an angry laugh.

"Enough everyone." Hera stood up and raised her hand, forcing everyone back to their seats.

"But mother, Aph likes me!" Ares blurted out, punching his armrest.

"Likes you? Just because you had a little session in her bedroom, well there's a lot more with other's Ares, she might be interested but she can't like you" Hermes said back at Ares and I saw his knuckles turning white with anger. It was just Hera's magic keeping them down. I felt crushed seeing all the anger.

"Aphrodite, you are the reason for a lot of chaos among gods of Olympus," Hera turned and said to me, openly showing her dislike for me. "You just go around and charm anyone, making them worship you. Do not forget Aphrodite, you're a goddess to the mortals not to Olympus." I flinched back.

"Hera, don't say like it's her fault. She is the goddess of love, her charm is natural." Artemis replied.

"Well, then the only solution to this is to settle Aphrodite once and for all, to any one of the gods here. Others might see and want but as Aphrodite would be a married woman, it'll settle that." Zeus said looking at me. I did not understand any of this. How could I marry anyone? I don't even know the gods properly yet.

"I, being the goddess of marriage, would choose the perfect groom of our bride" Hera cooed looking at me. I could see her happiness wasn't real, she was up to something. It was breaking me, everything. I felt all their desires crawl up to me, Hera's hatred was cutting through me. I was feeling humid and suffocated. Why'd she hated me so much?

"Aphrodite would be married to my son .." Is gonna give me to Ares? Oh that would be good, he is not .. "Hephaestus." Hera concluded.

I leaned back in my chair looking in front of me. Hephaestus? This old ugly man in front of me would be my partner for the rest of my life. We never even talked.

"But mother, what if Aphrodite doesn't want him?" I heard Ares protest. Oh, Ares, I don't want him.

Hearing Ares, I tried opening my mouth to speak when Hera turned to me and said, "you don't think your Queen is wrong, do you, Aphrodite?"

I got the message behind it. If I go against Hera, I'd be going against the Queen of Olympus. I nodded my head, not knowing what I meant myself.

"Aphrodite, cmon you know you can't live with that man."

"Be quiet, young prince! You don't talk to your brother like that."

"Alright. Hera suggests the wedding would turn out great if happens tonight. The court is dismissed. All of you are invited."

Everyone left the court. I could notice some of them murmuring. I saw Ares give me a last look before going out. In front of me, Hephaestus slowly got off his throne with much difficulty and walked up to me, "Aphrodite, I... I know you'd never want to be with someone like me," I saw him look away with shame. It wasn't his fault that I was being sold away. "I'd talk to Hera .." I kept my hand over his.

"See you tonight."

I walked out to see the Graces waiting on me. They opened their mouth to say something but closed seeing my face. I walked with them to the corner and heard Hera's voice, "Son, I know she is pretty and you like her, but it is an infatuation. She is desired by every man, looked by eyes filled with lust. I don't want that kind of woman to infiltrate your life. You'll understand later how much your mother loves you, Ares."

I turned back and began walking the other way, tears rolling down my face. A slut is all I am to her.
