Hey guys! Here's the next chapter. In this chapter, Tohru learns something new after an interesting encounter. What could it be? Read and find out.
MONTH 3
I have got better at moving these things near my sides and below me and it helped me with exploring. Although I still couldn't feel anything below me, I was able to feel that squishy wall that wasn't too far. Sometimes the jolt of waves would help me get near the squishy wall. I am at peace and the warmth still feels nice. Suddenly, I felt something poke at me!
Whoa! What was that?
Then it happened again, and this poking stayed near me. I felt around and I was touching the squishy wall, but something was different this time. It felt like something was on the other side of the squishy wall. It was hard. I tried to push it away from me. It seemed like it moved, but it came back near me again.
What are you?! Go away!
I still couldn't see or hear, only feel. It was still there, and I was getting scared. I used the things below me to push it away. After a few attempts, the thing from the other side of the squishy wall finally went away. I waited awhile. There was nothing.
And don't come back!
I moved around for a while and then went back to my peaceful state. I still don't know or understand what happened earlier, but I now know that there's something on the other side of the squishy wall. I don't feel alone anymore. As long as it can't get through the squishy wall, I'm safe.
End of Chapter 3. Just to make things clear, the thing that Tohru encountered was a fetal doppler. It's a device that checks the baby's heart rate. What I was told by OB doctors is that babies hate the fetal doppler. My baby certainly did, and I remember at one checkup she kicked at it. It made her mad and I couldn't blame her. She was in a dark warm place and was disturbed by the poking of the device. Anyways, I'll have the next chapter posted soon.
