Guest: Yes, I had to foreshadow the fact that Jin will gift Nina one of his super special bikes in Tekken 6 (I really love it. They are totally bike buddies too) I wonder if that's like giving a ring to her lol, the equivalent of putting a ring on it haha.

Evelyn: Thank you! I am glad they feel like a couple. I kind of was aiming for that. I love wholesome Jina too. I have so many ideas for this pairing lol. So many that have to be told somehow.

And yes, Nina is due for respect that she deserves. Needs a whole wardrobe full of amazing, classy and glam outfits that enhance her badassery. And throw in a special extra outfit too.

Chapter Thirteen

On his birthday, Jin decided to call his bestfriend in Japan before he started the day. That guy was the reason why Jin was safe now. He was also the first one whom Jin told about Heihachi's betrayal and the one after Heihachi to see his devil form. It was his idea for Jin to seek refuge in Brisbane.

"Hey happy birthday man!" The familiar strong voice makes Jin smile. It was a while.

"Thank you, Nagasawa." Jin replies. "How are you?"

After sharing updates with each other, Jin suddenly feels a little homesick. He did miss his days with his gang but he wasn't upset here either. He had what he needed.

"Heihachi is searching for you on the clock." Nagasawa said. "He's not approached me and our friends yet but I would ask you to remain vigilant. He's not a stupid man."

"I know that."

"Apparently, word is that Dr B woke up from his coma and called up Heihachi."

Jin's stomach sinks.

"Go on…,"

"Don't worry he said nothing about devil to your stupid gramps. But I would be keep an eye out on your end. Who knows how close Dr B and that bald buffoon is?"

Jin hums in agreement.

"Listen man, are you worried about the old doctor?"

"I never intended to harm him."

"I know that but do you feel bad about sending him into coma?"

How could Jin tell his bestfriend the uncomfortable truth? Jin didn't feel much empathy for the man who conducted countless of experiments. Of course he knew what he did was wrong but it wasn't really him was it? He had no control over it.

"Yes, I don't want to harm anyone." Jin confessed.

"I'm still trying to get used to this, don't feel bad. These angels and devils thing…..it's all new to me. When you turned up in my room that day, with those wings…I freaked man. I freaked."

He frowns. At that time, Nagasawa seemed a bit surprised but kept it together and helped him. He even let stay over to hide from Heihachi and the Tekken force. Jin did not know what else to say. If Nagasawa was doubting him, who else could trust him? Nina? Would she be able to accept this horrible truth about Jin that he too was infected with the devil gene? Would that change their friendship? Was Jin doomed to complete solitude?

"I trust you to take care of it." Nagasawa finally says, breaking the eerie silence over the line. "You can do it."

"Thank you." Jin replies.

"I have not told anyone else about it. Not even to my own mama." Nagasawa reveals.

"I understand, it must be a huge secret to keep. I really don't want to be outed to the world in that form."

"I won't betray you." Nagasawa promised. "We miss you over here. It's not the same. We would have celebrated your birthday with you Kazama." The young man sighs over the line. "Happy Birthday again man. Enjoy it."

With that the line is cut. Jin stares at his phone in silence. What if he couldn't control the devil?

Being a part of the G Corp as one of their private elite assassins meant that Eun-Seo was often spying on the Mishima Zaibatsu. It wasn't an easy thing to do as Heihachi knew how to protect his secrets well and have men who would die for him before spilling secrets. The Korean woman remembered how only one woman came close to breaching the security of the Zaibatsu all those years ago.

Nina Williams.

To her, it was a damn shame the amnesiac woman was busy polishing glasses in some bar slash bowling alley. Earning way less than an eight of the part salary. It was insulting even, to see such a legend reduced to a commoner.

What she knew was that Heihachi Mishima was looking for his wayward grandson and the Korean woman found out, they could trade something. The grandson for the central epitaph that Mishima gramps was hiding. If Nina was her usual self, perhaps the Korean woman would be able to get her help in pulling off such a deal.

She is sitting in a private cinema room owned by her rich husband watching Tom and Jerry of all things. It reminded her so much of the Williams sisters and the ache she had in her heart to just have a party with them and get the two sisters on good terms again.

"Yes husband?"

"If we find the grandson of the Mishima, we can trade him for the Central Epitaph."

"Sounds like an interesting mission but here's the thing….we don't know where the young man is." She pointed out. "I thought our first mission was to approach Nina Williams and convince her to work for us?"

She was getting tired of waiting and watching. Just wanted her old friend back.

"Why are we waiting?!" She questioned her man, the CEO of the G corp.

Of course he hid the fact from his wife that he had beef with the bitch of a blonde. She murdered his father in front of him. In a cinema. Twenty years he was waiting for his revenge, after his research on the blonde thanks to his contacts, he learnt that Eun-Seo was a friend of the William sisters. The reason he married her was part of his revenge. He was the one who told Kazuya was Nina was planning to do to him, he convinced the Japanese man to throw her in the freezer and get such an experiment done to her so that her memories were gone.

Kazuya did not fail to impress.

"What are you smiling about?" The Korean woman asks the CEO. Frustrated that he seemed to be lost in his thoughts again. He usually was so charming to her and it was only recently he was becoming distant…

"We have to watch her for a few months until she gets her memories back. Otherwise she's useless to us as an amnesiac isn't she?" He answers rudely.

Eun-Seo's eyes widen. "How could you talk about her like that?!"

"She's not your friend, sweetheart. She's another woman now. One that has new friends."

It seemed to shut his wife up as she went to pour herself a drink. Usually she would offer him some but only when she wasn't pissed off with him.

"Check up on our kid will you? Maybe your mood would be better then." He advises the Korean woman who has a slight scowl on her lips before leaving the room.

Once upon a time, he found her very attractive until the novelty wore off. Her mistake was that she actually loved the fake mask he presented her all these years and he was a good actor. Some dangerous women like his wife were ones who if they gave their heart to the wrong man would suffer.

He could never love an assassin. Never.

They disgusted him like the cockroaches that they were.

As for the former legend Nina Williams….the bitch was fond of playing games but she had no idea how great he was at such games. If she was a skilled player then he was the orchestrator, able to turn any one into his pawns be it an unassuming civilian or an experienced assassin or even a devil like Kazuya. He was everyone's lord.

He was going to get Nina Williams on a bended knee worshipping him like a lord before he slit her throat.

With that in mind, he pours himself some scotch and downs it. His eyes on the screen where Tom and Jerry was playing.
