Please enjoy the next chapter.
Clara and Iruma raced through the storm as the icy rain hit their exposed skin as lightning flashed and thunder roared. Spotting the two demons standing over a ledge, they narrowed their eyes as they ran faster. Stopping in front of them, the two looked back and held the screaming children over the edge, "One more stop!" Markov shouted over the storm, "And we'll drop them into the River of Despair!"
Clara's eyes widened as Iruma shook his head, "What in the hell is the River of Despair!"
"Iruma-kins!" Iruma looked at his wife as Clara shook her head, "Mommy told me about this! She said anything that falls into the river will disappear forever!"
Iruma's eyes widened as Talisa laughed, "How right you are! Once we drop these little brats into the river, they will be gone for good!" the two stared at them with narrowed eyes as Talia and Markov held the crying children over the edge. The young married couple narrowed their eyes as Markov and Talisa glare at them.
Without warning, the two threw the screaming children into the ravine as Clara's and Iruma's eyes widened and hey ushed past them, jumping over the edge. Talisa and Markov looked down and watched as Clara and Iruma spread their wings as they flew towards Luna and Sol at top speed before grabbing them before they touched the water and flew back up.
Landing in front of the two, Clara and Iruma held Luna and Sol as Clara frowned, "It's okay, babies…mommy and daddy are here…they weren't going to let the mean demons hurt you two," the two looked the children over as Luna and Sol cried over the storm, "Mommy and daddy are so sorry they let the bad demons take you,"
"They don't seem to be hurt, just scared…that's good," Iruma looked back with narrowed eyes as Talisa and Markov flew away, "Oh no you don't…Clara, dodgeball," Clara narrowed her eyes and nodded as she patted the pocket on her shirt and pulled out a dodgeball before handing it to Iruma and Iruma gave her Sol, "Ifrit Mode, Libera!" throwing the dodgeball at the two, they watched as a blue dragon swallowed the ball and flew towards the two demons. Seeing the two get hit, they spread their wings and flew towards them.
Landing in front of them, the young couple narrowed their eyes as Talisa and Markov groaned in pain, "Idiots!" Iruma shouted over the storm, "Did you really think we wouldn't try to save them!" grabbing the two demons by the hair, he pulled them up them up as they screamed, "And you were going to throw them in the River of Despair! You're worse than scum!"
"Iruma-kins!" Iruma looked at his wife in confusion, "We need to find a place to stay until it stops raining!" Iruma looked up to see the storm starting to worsen, "We can't fly home, our babies could get hurt!"
"Right!" Iruma looked around before spotting a lone cave through the flashes of lighting, "This way!" he grabbed Talisa and Markov and ran towards the cave with Clara, carrying Luna and Sol, followed close behind.
Using his ring, Iruma started a small fire for his wife and children before turning towards the injured and bound Talisa and Markov and narrowed his eyes as he stepped closer to them. Standing over them, the two groaned as they slowly looked up as Iruma crossed his arms, "We should feel honored…a Chet is standing in our presence…what can we do for you, Chet?"
"What can a couple of Vav like us do for you and-" Iruma grabbed them by the hair and slammed the back of their heads against the stone wall behind them, causing them to hiss in pain.
They looked back up as Iruma leaned closer to them and hissed, "Listen to me, you little bastards, if it weren't for my wife and kids being here, I'd tell you what I think about you. Breaking into the mansion is one thing, but doing it and taking our children away…what the hell wrong with you two an-"
"They're not your kids," Talisa hissed and Iruma looked at her with narrowed eyes, "You and that bitch aren't their parents, they're our kids, they're useless an-" before she could finish, Iruma grabbed her by the throat and tightened his grip as Markov watched on with wide eyes as his wife gasped for air, hitting Iruma's arm.
Iruma released the demoness as she gasped for air, "Call my wife that again, call my kids that again, and not even Derkila would be able to save you from me," the two looked at him in confusion, "I don't know much about family life when it comes to certain demons, but you should never want to abandon your children or throw them into the River of Despair…I'm seriously considering sending you idiots to oblivion,"
"You don't have it in you, kid," Markov laughed and Iruma looked at him with a hardened expression crossing his face, "You've faced the Six Fingers, and instead of killing them, you had them arrested for the rest of their lives. Face it, you're too soft kid, you think with emotions, we think with our heads an-" Iruma reached over and slammed Markov's head against the wall of the cave and he hissed in pain.
"One, I spared those bastards because Clara asked me to, two, I highly doubt she'll have any mercy for idiots such as yourselves…you not only threatened Luna and Sol, but you broke into the mansion, kidnapped them and go and try to throw them into the River of Despair…what would've happened if Clara and I didn't show up when we did?"
"They would've disappeared for good and-"
"Rhetorical, Talisa, and rhetorical questions don't need an answer," Iruma looked over his shoulder to see Clara cradling Luna and Sol in her arms, "How are they, honey?"
"They're not hurt, they're just scared," she looked up and narrowed her eyes at the two, "If anything is wrong with my babies, I promise I'll make you sorry,"
Iruma smirked as he looked back at the two and shook his head, "And just so you know, my wife doesn't usually make threats, so you know you messed up. Once the storm settles, we're all going back to the mansion and you two are going to face judgement for this an-"
"This is one other way to see that they're punished, Iru-boy," Iruma heard Ali whisper in his ear, "Take the written and practical exams, show the Netherworld you've got what it takes to rule over at a young age, that you don't think with your emotions and so this way, you can decide the appropriate punishment for them,"
"How the hell am I supposed to do that, Ali? I just rose up to Chet an-"
"Trust me Iru-boy, you will want to take this test,"
Iruma took a deep breath and glared at the two, "On second thought, you two will await trail while I take a certain test, and then judgement will be passed," their eyes widened as Clara looked over and slightly frowned before looking down at Luna and Sol in her arms as they bobbed their heads up and down, slowly drifting off to sleep, "We'll talk more when we get to the mansion," Iruma turned and walked away, ignoring the two demons behind him.
Sitting next to his wife, Clara frowned as she leaned up against him, "Iruma-kins?" Iruma hummed and looked down in confusion, "I love you…but please don't become the Demon King…you won't have any time for me or our babies an-"
"The world could end tomorrow, and I'll spend our last ours with you, Luna, Sol and Yumi," Clara moaned and pouted, "Even if I do become the Demon King, I'll always have time for you and our kids. I'll just put everything else to the side," he lightly kissed the side of her head and smiled, "And I love you too, Clara," Clara's frowned twitched into a small smile as she nodded and Iruma rubbed her back.
Well, this was…some…kind of fun to write, I guess? Enjoy.
